The worst driving school ever, the driver and the instructor in the car ran a stop sign and someone honked to inform them both of them started to show fingers to this elderly couple

Upon recommendation from one of my colleagues both of my kids completed their Driver Education Course with Archer’s Blue Car. One did the classroom lessons online and the other did the live in-class in session but both passed the road test on the first try. Very happy with their instruction.

Absolutely amazing company. I barely had any driving experience when I signed up with archers, I paid for an extra lesson so I did 6 in total over 6 weeks and a few days after did my road test and passed. They are such kind, wonderful people, both owners and employees. They made learning driving easy, and I highly recommend them to everyone and anyone who is thinking of doing driving lessons! 15/10

I was so intimidated by the prospect of learning to drive at 30 years old. What school to pick was the first hurdle. I wanted value for my money but I didn’t want to sacrifice quality and experience for cheaper. Archer’s was reasonably priced for the value I assessed from their website. Website was easy to use and communication when I called was great and always more informative than I expected. I learned so much from the in class session and then the premium lessons and would say it was in reality beyond my expectations. Instructor Kyle is extremely patient and personable, and also able to convey what needs improvement firmly when necessary. A really good teacher. I can confidently drive now and I attribute that to him. A teacher can convey information, but a good teacher instills confidence while holding you accountable in applying that information, correcting you until you KNOW it. Even if I still am working on getting it right every time, I know what I need to be doing. I’ve passed the course now, and personally, I’m still going to practice a little before my test, but now it’s real practice because I know the rules. When I’m ready I will be prepared because of Archer’s and Kyle! And I’m just so grateful that I can’t say “I don’t drive” anymore. Because I do. All the skill I build now is on a firm foundation! Thank you!

I had such a wonderful experience with Blue Archer. I was instructed by Elaine and she was such an educational and calming presence to have in the car with me. I have always been a nervous driver and she was there with me each step of the way. Dom was there with me for my pretest warm up before my actual test and he was wonderful as well. The instructors really are caring people. I passed my exam on the first try and I'm thankful for everything they did to help me and set me up to be successful.

Elaine was a fantastic instructor! I had really bad anxiety and sensory issues around driving and she was very patient and accommodating. She was able to figure out my comfort zone and limits but push me little by little each session to make progress. I passed my test second try and I'm now comfortable driving!

Archer's Blue Car is definitely one of the best driving schools in the Edmonton area. I had a horrible experience with a different school and had to transfer over my records, Dominic was super helpful with that and there were no issues. Lessons were fairly priced, and because I had booked so many I got a discount and pay-as-you-go, which was great!

I attended another driving school prior to Archer's that taught me poorly. Dom, Jen and Kyle all instructed me at various points. Each instructor was straight to the point and incredibly helpful at getting you to where you need to be. I could not recommend them more!

Great teaching! I passed my road test on the first try! The instructors are very welcoming and only ever intimidating when they’re trying to keep you + others safe. Tonya was amazing at getting me comfortable from no experience to an independent driver in just 14 hours.

Excellent driving school. The instructors have a lot of experience, knowledge and patience. They know when your anxiety and nerves are getting to you and help you bring them down so you can keep learning everything you need for getting your license. They helped me manage my anxiety while driving and got me to where I needed to be for getting my license. They were a very helpful every step of the way. I would recommend them to anyone who wants to learn how to drive and get there license.

My instructor, Elaine, really made my experience special and memorable. She completely understood my situation as an immigrant trying to get used to the new driving rules, and accordingly tailored the lesson plan. She's truly a gem and, undoubtedly, the best instructor in Alberta. (Yup, she is that good!)

Archer's is amazing and I cannot recommend them enough. I'm 30 years old and have been putting off driving due to major anxiety and fear. I went into my driving lessons with essentially zero experience and afraid to go faster than 20km/hr (lol). And after 7 lessons, about 2.5 months of experience total, and lots of practice in between, I just passed my test with flying colours! I had three different instructors throughout my lessons, but the majority were with Kyle. He was always very patient and encouraged me outside of my comfort zones when he felt confident that I could do a skill, but never pushy. I would also highly recommend using an Archer car for driving tests and getting in that 45 minute warm-up drive that's included. Honestly a life-saver in getting out those test jitters and asking some last-minute questions!

Archer’s Blue Car is an excellent driving school. I came here after going to another driving school a few years prior and with loads of driving anxiety. They really helped me become confident on the road. Their teaching style is straight forward and they are also very patient with you. After 4 in-car lessons, I was confident enough to attempt my road test. I used their car for the test and they gave me a 45 minute warm up before the test. I passed first try! Thanks so much Archer’s Blue Car. I would definitely recommend them!

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I don't even live in Edmonton, let alone actually attended this driving school! However, just from the YouTube videos I've seen, I could say amazing things about this school! Despite actually attending driving lessons in my city, I could 100% say that watching this school's youtube videos was more helpful to me! I can't imagine how great it would be actually taking driving lessons in-person at such a school. Thank you for your videos, Archer! We all appreciate you! I started their lessons in 2021 with zero experience and no car to practice with, and passed the road test after around 16 private in-car hours with them. The instructors are nice and professional, special thanks to Dom and Elaine who helped me a lot in brush up sessions. Will definitely recommend to other people.

Dom was a great instructor, with little experience in driving he had me prepared in 10 hrs of lessons and I passed my road test 1st try. I really recommend Archers, great staff and very knowledgeable. Thanks again Dom

After failing my first drivers road test, I ended up taking 2 brush up lessons with Archers Blue Car and was able to pass my road test on the second attempt.

They’re phenomenal teachers and will accommodate you to have the best experience possible. I would recommend this service to anybody I know who is in need of it. Great people, super thorough with how they do business and all around professionals.

I highly recommend Archer's for taking your road test training. I learned a lot about excellent and proactive driving skills from their instructors, especially Kyle, Darryl, and Dom during my 14+ hours and pre-test with them, it was very worth it.

Having tried two other driving schools previously, I was hesitant to try a third but was happily surprised by the level of expertise, professionalism and accommodation Archer's Blue Car offered. They offer meticulous and detailed instruction and tips and tricks that helped transform my driving and confidence. My score went from a 145 on my first failed driving test to 60! They were extremely accommodating, adding extra lessons the night before, changing pick up locations (other driving schools refused to even pick up), and addressing my concerns. I felt like they were genuinely invested in my success! I am the third person in my family to use Archer's and wish I had came sooner!

Horrible customer service!
Daryl was very kind and patient when I took the class and I wish Dom had the same professionalism. I tried to change my appointment and got yelled at on the phone. This is unacceptable! Instead of telling me how much the cancellation fee is - which I was happy pay - I was treated like a second class citizen. Horrible experience. I would not recommend going to this driving school.

Archer's Blue Car Driving School was an excellent choice! After three years of having a Learner's, they boosted my confidence as a driver substantially, and informed me of many important tips I would never have been aware of. Jennifer is an amazing instructor as she is patient, informative, and enjoyable to work with. The only problem I had was that there was some miscommunication between myself and a few of the instructors, which made me uncomfortable at brief times. Overall, I would recommend this driving school to anyone, and am appreciative of their efforts to teach me. I passed my road test on my first attempt, and it is all due to the time I spent with this school.

I enrolled my daughter in the 10 hour in-car driving with online classroom (due to covid). The online learning was done by videos that she could watch and take quizzes on at her convenience. In-car driving is booked online in 2 hr blocks; it’s easy to schedule, just book a few weeks ahead to get the time and day you want. She had had her learners for over a year and a half, and did a lot of the driving to and from school, so she was gaining confidence. We enrolled her in the class to help her more confidence (with other people in the car with her) as well as to have the certificate to help lower insurance costs. She liked her in-car instructors (Kelly and Kyle) and passed the 30 minute class 5 drivers test on the first try. I would highly recommend Archer's Blue Car driving school.
