Best shopping experience ever! My sister and I knew nothing about hot tubs walking in but after meeting Jennifer all and any questions were answered and we felt comfortable purchasing a hot tub that day. The shopping experience at Arctic Spa was so enjoyable and comfortable (they even have a coffee bar to relax at) we really weren’t in a rush to leave. Anyone looking for a great deal on a hot tub has to go see Jennifer at Arctic Spa. You won’t be disappointed. I would give them a hundred stars if I could!

I would like to express my gratitude to the service department of Arctic Spas. Both Chris (service) and Shawn (technician) were an absolute pleasure to deal with. Service was prompt, efficient and thorough. We have owned our spa for 4 years now and have continued to receive excellent service throughout that period of time. I wouldn't hesitate recommending Arctic Spa if you are looking for a great hot tub!

Ok so I know everyone experience will be different this is just what has happened to me since purchasing my Tundra Arctic Spa in June 2021. Tub was ordered 1 year in advance an still came 1 month late. I had a great experience with the delivery team so no complaints there. Since I have owned this complete lemon of a tub it has almost been completely rebuilt. My model has 2 pumps, pump 1 has been replaced twice and pump 2 has been replace once. Currently pump 1 is waiting to be replaced yet again. The heater has been replaced and multiple issues with the salt sell not working, endless problems with the Wi-Fi connection on this tub still has yet to be completely fixed. The service department although very knowledgeable and polite have been disappointing. For a company this size they do not have a 24 hr.service line which blows me away since every time I've had issues its always on a weekend or after 6pm.you are completely on your own outside on mon-fri hours. My salesman at the south Edmonton location promised he would take this to higher management to see what they could do for me and it has been complete silence I have never been contacted again on all of these issues. I don't typically buy extended warranty, but thank the lord I did on this purchase as I have needed service techs to come repair this tub every 3 to 4 months. In conclusion I will never buy anything from this company ever again, $17000.00 down the drain.

I never write reviews but am very disappointed with my short experience with our summit xl. The delivery process was terrible and good thing I have a front end loader on site or it would still be at the factory. I’ve had a pump go and am waiting on my second service call and have just been bumped to the back of the line for the second time. I regret the day I stepped inside the Edmonton showroom!

Would like to give Debby Wyatt a very good review as we went into the store not knowing what we wanted or needed and she walked us through all the different hottubs and listened to what we were looking for in a hottub. She showed us the Summit Legend with all the stuff we wanted and then helped us by explaining how we go about ordering and financing the tub. She then introduced us to Asia Cameron who walked us through the whole financing process. We received our hottub on July 23rd, 2022 and it was a very great experience with the delivery and set-up.

I was having issues with the filtration and balancing the chemicals so went into the store and spoke to Debby and she set us up with a very wonderful girl who helped me with the app and got me figured out.

Debby Wyatt is an excellent Sales Manager who knows her tubs and cares about her customers.

I would recommend ArticSpa to anyone who is looking for a hottub.

Nov 27 Our experience with Arctic Spas has been somewhat of a nightmare. After waiting 8 months for our salt system hottub, it was delivered without the saltwater system installed. So basically a big bathtub to use for 2 weeks before they could come & install it. So that had to empty all the water to install it & now we are left with cloudy, green water & we are told no one can help us until monday.we've tested our levels & they are all within range. But we are left with no answers.

Nov 29 After leaving a review I was contacted by a department manager who was great! She was very very helpful and within 24 hrs my tub was 100% better. She shipped me free products to help further with my spa water. She was even helping me after hours and while she was on days off!

Ordered a summit back in 2019. The tub is amazing and exactly what we wanted. The 1 star has nothing to do with the tub, and everything to do with sales/financing at arctic spa and the company that they choose to do business with, Financeit. Long story short, do not finace a tub from arctic spa or anyone for that matter, who uses Financeit.when asked how long we would like to finance the tub, we chose 5years.turns out arctic spa mislead us and gave us 12years. And with Financeit's daily interest, will have bought our amazing new tub twice by the time our loan is up. Thanks arctic spa for being as transparent as mud with the financing of your products.

We took delivery of our salt water Yukon spa about a month ago and enjoy it every day. Aaron didn't sell us a spa he took the time to help us choose the right spa to fit our needs and budget. Their online Spa Boy School is extremely useful and makes it a breeze to operate and control the unit.top-notch! I do however feel it necessary to mention that the two water filters were mistakenly installed backwards and one had prematurely exhausted. The good is the service department didn't even hesitate to replace it. I give Arctic Spas a 5 star rating and would recommend to anyone who is interested in a new spa.

Purchased our summit xl 15 months ago. We toured a lot of places and after a ton of research.arctic spas ranked supreme. Lifetime warranty on things that matter like the shell / floor show the confidence they have in their craftsmanship. Their cover is quality, the cedar is gorgeous, new filter system effective, and spa boy makes it easy to own a first time tub. We never felt pushed by our salesmen Aaron and he was available for any call or text during the buying process. Aaron is the man and takes care of me anytime I call (even 15 months after the purchase). It's not a sale and bail operation, which they prove with their in house service people (not contracted out). Tub took a bit of time to get built, but it was a mad house in spring 2020, so it was expected. Every time I was in the place it was packed with customers buying. They were up front about build times and delivery was right on time. Delivery crew was solid/friendly and tub was set up with ease. 2020+ models and owners who update their firmware or have decent internet should have no issues with the app (runs perfect). Ran into the odd hiccup or tub issue along the way but no matter the case, I let the crew at the Edmonton location know and treated them with respect (not fueled by demanding entitlement) and they were always there to help me out. Asia is great and was there for follow up and to see how we were doing, and the parts folks in the store are helpful anytime you are learning the ropes and need support. Had the tub serviced once (user error, not the tubs fault) and the call back, scheduling, professionalism, and overall follow up was great. I'm sure I'll have this tub 20 yrs, but I will be back for the next one.

Wow what a positive hot tub buying experience! Aaron wasn't at all pushy or rushing and genuinely cared about us getting exactly what we wanted and what was right for us.

If you are buying a hot tub it is not worth it to go anywhere else. This company has it all figured out and explained everything to us with full honesty.

Arctic Spas was recommended to us by previous owners as a high quality hot tub. We purchased a Summit that was delivered to us Sept/20. Buying experience was good. Delivery experience was good. Service was good (trouble with our first couple salt cells, hopefully better now). Hot tub seems good. However, I can not bring myself to rate higher because of one unfortunate experience.

I phoned our sales rep right after our purchase to change our order to a different tub, as our electrician stated our panel board could not handle the hot tub we chose. Debby insisted we call their recommended electrician, Dave. We did, and he ensured us it was no problem, and I naively hired him without checking credentials (since he was recommended by Arctic Spas). We have spent 10 months trying to get him to fix all the things he has done wrong, and now realize he has disappeared. Although he is not with BBB, I now see numerous complaints against him.

Our hot tub is not up to code and will cost us an extra $2000 to fix. (With our previous electrician it would have cost us $1000 less than we have already paid, and it would have been to code). BEWARE OF ANY RECOMMENDATIONS BY ARCTIC SPAS! Although their product seems to be high quality, they obviously do not check out people they recommend for service, and then you are stuck with the hours of headaches, stress, and bills.

Thanks to Beau at Arctic Spas who always helps so quickly and professionally with water and hot tub issues - but I am still so deflated by the experience.

When my wife and I were shopping around for a hot tub, we went to a few of the better known locations. We are first time hot tub buyers and thankfully Artic Spas was our first stop, Jennifer was able to provide us with answers to questions that we didn’t even know we should ask.

This helped us with shopping at other locations as we found we had to ask for a lot of the information that Jennifer proactively provided us. Although we were able to receive a discount of several thousand more at a leading competitor, we opted to go with Jennifer and by extension Arctic Spas.

The only negative is the same across the board and that’s the expected wait time for us to receive the hot tub, approximately 8 months.

Thanks again to Jennifer Page, I highly recommend dealing with her.

Bought our Cub last summer and while it was quite delayed due to Covid and the extra demand that the industry has had, it was worth the wait. We hummed and hawed between the Cub and a Beachcomber model. The technology in the Artic Spa models combined with the extra attention to the contours in the sitting areas were worth it. I was very hesitant about spending extra money for SpaBoy but Aaron talked me into it and I'm extremely glad he did. It makes maintenance a breeze, no fooling around with test strips. Great tub, great staff, sure there are hiccups like any company but I am pleased overall.

I purchased a house with an older arctic spa that was drained and in unknown condition. While getting it up and operating Beau and Marissa were always happy to help, friendly, knowledgable and patient. I walked in several times thinking I was done for. Each time I left with a part and clear simple instructions that solved my issue.

I ordered a hot tub cover from Arctic Spas at the beginning of September. The sales person was knowledgeable and helpful. I was told that the cover I needed (one of their standard sizes) was on back order due to COVID but would hopefully be ready in a couple weeks. Fast forward 2 months and I hadn’t heard anything so I called and was told “should be in the next couple weeks”. A couple more months went by and I called a third time and got the same answer with no apology or clear explanation of what the issue was. On the fourth call in February I was told that I was near the top of the list and should be getting a call in a few weeks. Needless to say, I was very surprised when I did in fact get a call at the beginning of March, more than 6 months after my order saying my cover was ready for pickup. I was told when I made the purchase that it would be delivered to me and my bill of sale states “ship to [my address]”. However, I was just relieved I finally had a cover and made arrangements to pick it up. Pickup was smooth and the staff were pleasant. Still no apology or explanation for the long wait. Once I got it home and unpacked it, I saw they had given me the WRONG colour. I ordered grey and got brown. At this point it’s not worth it to me to go exchange it. It fits my tub well and looks like it is good quality. But I will think twice before visiting Arctic again.
TL;DR:
Nice products, very poor communication. “A couple weeks” turned into 6 months. I was given the wrong product on pickup.

I find it very difficult to know exactly what to purchase for chemicals as each employee seems to have a different opinion. Also no one calls you back from service when i have left multiple messages. If you say your gonna call me back within 24hrs do it not weeks later or sometimes not at all. Not great customer service at all.

The worst customer service I have ever experienced. We ordered a hot tub in May 2020. It arrived the last week of August 2020 with the wrong color cover and the lifter they sold us. First, the lifter they sold us does not work for the tub we purchased. You would assume the sales staff would know something like this. A month later they brought us the one that works on our tub. They also told us at that time they accidentally brought the wrong color cover and would bring the correct one. Two weeks later after us calling them, they told us it was backordered. From June 2020 until February 2021 I was told by at least 4 different people, a range of excuses from covid to they are manufactured in another country and couldn't get them, etc. Trying to be patient, understanding that covid has slowed a lot of shipping and manufacturing down, I waited.and waited. Finally at the end of February 2021, Brittany in service called me to tell me that my cover was finally in and would be delivered on March 10,2021. Today, the delivery man shows up.with the WRONG cover! It is way too big and doesn't fit the tub.as frustrated as I was, the delivery driver told me Brittany would call me this afternoon. She did. In her words, "My Bad, I didn't look which tub you had. " I was then told they had no idea when I would ever get the cover I paid for. Never once was I told I would have to wait for that color, or anything else when I made the purchase. Beyond frustrating.

This morning, our electrical permit failed. Arctic Spa documentation requires a 50 amp breaker. The plate attached to the spa motor panel clearly states a 40 amp breaker is required. According to the Electrical Inspector, if the amperage is too large, and there is an electrical failure, the breaker may not trip. We called Arctic Spa, their response was that they "recommend" 50 amp in case of further spa upgrades and that they have installed thousands of spas and never had an issue. Apparently we are on the hook for the cost of replacing the breaker. Arctic Spa may or may not provide a good product.their sales/service is sub par.

Owned a Beachcomber hot tub for 13 years. Excellent customer service. Tub served us very well for that time. Ordered an Arctic spa last July. Was given a delivery day of Jan 26. Called them a couple of days before only to be told they were running behind. Fine. They said they'd call us soon. This went on for a couple of weeks with no one ever calling us. It was always us contacting them. Finally got it delivered Mid Feb. Headrest was cracked. Someone took pics and said they would get back to us. Still hasn't happened. Filled it and let it heat up. Opened it up the next day and water level was down a foot and a half. Major leak inside the cabinet and 3-4 inches of water sitting inside. Was a day before someone came to check and my husband found the leak in the meantime. Pump was working intermittently. Stopped working altogether a week later. Called. Said someone could come out 12 days later. Called the manager. Spoke with Chelsea and then Scott. We explained we weren't feeling super confident with the product we received and weren't pleased with the customer service either. They both got very defensive. We asked for an extended warranty and were told "not happening". Scott then told us he couldn't do anything else for us. I said to him you are choosing not to. You could have asked us to come into the store, pick out some robes, get some glasses and apologized for the inconvenience. He said he wasn't going to do that. They would fix the tub and that was it. He then told us to just "chill out". So that was that. Never would I ever recommend this company to anyone. I would urge you to take your business and your money elsewhere. For a company that is so busy and doing record sales during Covid, they sure couldn't be bothered to build a quality product and provide good customer service. Clearly they are building fast and shipping them out even faster without checking quality. As for where Scott got his management training I can only guess. What a poor representative for a company that used to have a good reputation.

Everything was explained to me at the time of purchase and they have called several times since then to make sure everything is going well. A couple of minor issues were dealt with immediately. I would highly recommend this company!

Bought an ocean this past summer we love it. Got the lighting package on it which is cool but now two of the swim spa big jets were loose flopping around so got new ones but are black and not see through so defeats the purpose of the light package. I asked to get clear ones and was told they are either discontinued or they can't get them in anymore. If I would have known that I may have opted out of the lighting package. Service department is super hard to get ahold of and books 4 to 7 days later for a call. Currently have an issue that my spa isn't heating and the app says flow switch malfunction and I was told to try and make adjustments myself as they can't send anyone right now cause the temperature outside. Definitely need to work on their service and response times.

After getting rid of a poor quality brand that we inherited with our home, we purchased an Arctic Spa hot tub a few years ago. The store treated us fairly, and the installers were great too. Fast forward a few years: the parts department has ALWAYS been very helpful when I need supplies or assistance, and today, we had our spa modified with extras we didn't choose when we bought originally.

One of the original installers (Chris?) ended up being our service provider today. He called in advance to give us an ETA, arrived on time, was very friendly, courteous, helpful and absolutely fantastic to deal with. I can't say enough about the great quality of this product.nor can I say enough about the service. They really are great to deal with. Kudos to Chris for his work in -20 C today. Thank you.

I am on my second Arctic Spa. The first one was replaced under warranty because after a couple years the shell started blistering. It was a great experience even though there was a problem it was handled very good in my opinion. Last year I needed to replace the cover because the seam came apart even though I was using a cover lifter. I was given an option to replace just the skin which I did. I noticed in the winter that I was getting severe ice build up and realized the cover was not sealing. I sent in emails through the web page and left voice mails for their parts department and didn’t receive a response. Then Covid hit and of course everything got crazy. Last week I finally made it into the store to talk to them in person. The parts department gave me a number to call. I called the number and she told me there would be a charge to come inspect the cover. I said are you serious? She said well, technically you are out of warranty by a month but I might be able to make an exception to fix it under warranty but I still need to charge you the service call. I am in absolute disbelief. I am going to buy a different manufacture of cover for a fraction of the price. I know of 4 people that have bought tubs from them simply based on my advice. I think I will have to change that and no longer tell people how amazing they are and their tubs are, since it appears after my first experience they have somehow lost the thought of taking care of their customers.

Experience at Arctic Spas was excellent. Salesperson Jenn did a great job at finding a tub that was the best fit for my family. Very happy with my Summit Hot Tub. Asia was exceptional in walking us through the particulars of the sale and did a fantastic job getting us through our Spa orientation. Bo from the service area was also extremely helpful when looking for advice on water treatment fin tuning. I shopped around and nothing compared to the quality and service that I found at Arctic Spas Edmonton.

Bought a brand new 2020 spa. Started having problem within the first month. The temperature went crazy high and lost all control of the hot tub. Tried to call service probably 10 times.left messages and nobody called back until I got in touch with the supervisor. Now it died after 3 months and impossible to get a phone call back or any service. I know 3 other people who are having similar issues with their hot tub. Its the worst after sell customer service.

We were offered a 9 month no payment, no interest deal, and we confirmed the model we wanted. A couple days later as we are about to start signing documents, they contact us and say not only will they not honour the deal they offered, but they are discontinuing the spa we'd selected. I informed them that if they didn't honour the deal, and give us the spa we'd chosen, we'd be contacting the Better Business Bureau. They immediately promised to honour the deal, and magically found another tub in the model we'd ordered. We were sent paperwork. Including a contract stating that it could not be signed until the tub was delivered, installed, set up, and approved by us. When I told them I wouldn't sign any contract that was not fulfilled, their sales rep (Asia) tried to tell me it was fine. They do it with all their clients. It's "easier to just get all the paperwork out of the way". Meaning they ask all their clients to sign documents confirming delivery, and inspection of the spa units, before they are even built! I told her that I would not commit fraud, by signing. I literally had to tell her I would contact their insurance company, and the BBB before she agreed to start the work order for our spa. Then delivery day came. Three men arrived, and one of them proceeded to tell me that my entryway was too small to bring in my tub. This is after we'd followed explicit instructions on the delivery requirements, having measured everything repeatedly, and sending a video of the entryway to them to ensure it would work. We were assured it was fine. I told this to the man that seemed to be in charge, and told him exactly how to get the tub in step by step. He argued with me, and was extremely rude. Telling me "Well if you want I can leave, and come back with a crane". When my husband got home, he said the exact same way of bringing the tub in that I had, when he suggested it the rude man instantly listened, and did exactly what my husband said. Exactly what I had said, only to be told it "won't work". They gave us paperwork to sign. Saying me the tub couldn't be unloaded until we'd signed it. The same contract that we'd already refused to sign. I informed the rude man, that we'd already had this issue, and we wouldn't sign until the contract was fulfilled. He called his manager who told him not drop the tub off unless we signed. I demanded to speak to them, then had them try to tell me that they couldn't legally drop off the tub until we'd signed. I told her or previous issues, and then she tried to back pedal. Saying "The problem is that we've had people get their tubs delivered, and then they refuse to sign, and we're out tens of thousands of dollars". I told her that wasn't our problem. She told me that I had to give her my word that I "would sign once the tub was placed", or they "wouldn't take it off the truck". I told her they could either place the tub, and fulfill the contract, or I'd contact the BBB. Only then did she agree to let them unload. While unloading, I noticed that while tipping the tub off of the flat bed, the tub was sliding, instead of upending. I said they had to raise the the flat bed higher so the tub wouldn't slide. I said this to the rude man three times. He looked at me, then ignored me. One of the other men, who was actually respectful the whole time (I didn't catch his name, but he was wearing cowboy boots), heard me saying this. So he spoke up, and repeated my instructions to the rude man. Like magic, as soon as the instructions came from a man, he instantly listened. When the rude man was giving chemical maintenance instructions, he interrupted me at least seven times when I was mid sentence. He not only interrupted, he actually raised the volume of his voice to be heard over me when I didn't immediately stop talking. The only reason they're getting 2 stars instead of 1, is because the spa unit is actually very good quality. Every single aspect of their customer service is an absolute joke. I've never experienced such shady business practices, or sexism in a professional industry in my life.

I also feel very ripped off. Spa Boy cost over $2,000 and now it's been banned by pest & regulatory canada because a dangerous off gas comes out of the water. I disconnected it and now they won't give me a refund?

We purchased a salt water hot tub a year ago and couldn't be happier. Being previous hot tub owners we were skeptical to buy another one as it was difficult to maintain the water composite. But we took the plunge and bought a salt water based hot tub from Arctic Spas and we're so happy we did. There is little to no maintenance. The water is always clear and the people at Arctic spa are extremely helpful and friendly.

Quality and service are not acceptable. Purchased new in 2016 and have had 14 service calls since that time. Most everything has been fixed or replaced. We did get an extended warranty due to all the problems. Recently had a pump issue and waited 21/2 weeks for repair, and within a week of that repair we have a valve that is broken and spraying water. Wait time for service call is another 10 days. There has been no understanding from service desk at Arctic Spa. No recommendations from this frustrated customer!

We've had nothing but great sales & service here. Aaron always remembers our name (4 years later) and the parts and service area is very helpful.

A much better experience than a kijiji "cross your fingers" deal. We bought a newer refurb, and really appreciated the friendly and helpful staff. From sales to the awesome delivery and set-up. They scheduled, called and did what they promised.so that's always nice.
For us, any purchase is always influenced by the customer experience we have. I'd recommend Arctic Spa for their understanding of this principle!
Sorry for the 3 instead of 5 star.their refurbs have just a 30d warranty.which kinda detracts from our confidence and enjoyment given the thousands we paid.

We have been more than satisfied with Arctic Spas! We love the tub but more importantly are very impressed with their service department. The couple service calls we have had to make over the last few years have always been quick, efficient and with friendly knowledgeable techs. If you’re considering purchasing one, no need to look anywhere else they’re a great company.

We finally decided to take the leap and buy a hot tub. We went to four different manufacturers and by far Deb from Arctic Spa was the shining star. She took us through all the features of an Arctic Spa hot tub from bottom to top. The features (I am in love with the salt water system – no chemicals – my skin will love it), manufacturing and the customer service is leaps and bounds above anything we saw. Deb took her time and answered every question. We never felt rushed or pressured to make a decision. We actually left and visited a couple more manufacturers but no one could compare to Deb, her knowledge and Arctic Spa. We went back today and signed the paperwork and our brand new Arctic Spa Summit XL is on its way. It was an amazing experience and we are so excited to spend many days and nights in our new Arctic Spa hot tub for years to come. Thank you Deb and Arctic Spa.
