Disgusting behavior from a worker there. My fiance went to shop for a body suit, she tried a bunch on and asked for a different color. The worker was an older woman with a Grey Bob haircut, she completely body shamed her. Told her she should find something that fits her body shape with a square neck line. Congratulations artizia, you hire people who make your customers go into the washroom to cry. Never shopping at this place again.

The quality of clothing is getting concerning, seems like cheap clothes just rebranded.

The immediate harsh stares I received from the staff at this location is insane. They act like you need to be a certain type of person to be qualified to purchase anything from there. If you aren’t a certain body type or you are wearing lower end clothing they will not service you. Extremely disrespectful and there are no mirrors in their change rooms. Don’t recommend aritizia

I used to really hate shopping in-store at Aritzia because nobody ever helped me and when they did, it was substandard in terms of customer service.

But I’m happy to report that after deciding to come in to purchase a winter jacket this year, the customer service has improved ten-fold. Everyone was nice — especially Leo! Leo was kind and went above and beyond to help me find the perfect fit for the Super Puff. He was also accommodating when I was indecisive and trying on a bunch of sizes on the sales floor, helping get me into a change room immediately.

Thank you Leo for making shopping at Aritzia an enjoyable experience!

I’ve been going to this location for 5 years faithfully everyone knows me at this location they have a few new people over the little while one being that guy he is rude and I caught him talking and laughing at me with another employee like sweetheart you work at Aritzia calm down.i was going to drop a couple bills but I ended up walking out everyone there knows I usually drop 5 bills when there each time GET HUMBLE EMPLOYEES this behaviour is disgusting I guarantee I’m not the only one walking out because it’s of him.

Absolutely thrilled TNA pants are back. Thank youuuu Aritzia for bringing them back. Big ups to you. Bough 5 pairs now, though the less expensive pair are very thin and not the same, VERY THIN and shorter in length (I’m 5’3 and they are still short on me) The tag is sewn in to the pants as well. Buyer beware. Need scissors to remove tags. But in love with with $78 dollar pair. Just in love with them. The only thing that might need improvement is the sewn on tag; I did rip 3 pairs already even by cutting it off with scissors.

The top I bought is what I wear for work it’s apart of my uniform (I’m a server), the first day I wore it it literally HOURS after I bought it, it literally tore at the seam connecting the shirt together an hour into my shift. The size isn’t to tight and I’m never doing strenuous work but the shirt just tore. I called to get an exchange and it was impossible getting a hold of anyone to help me but once I finally did they offered to ship one to my house and then told me I would be charged for it which I was obviously not okay with. Once we figured out a solution involving me going in person and exchanging she messed up the email informing the store about 800

I wanted to go try Artizia as a lot of my friends shop here and love it. It was the worst experience I have ever had. I was not talked to once when in the store and while in line with my items the lady working offered to take and fold the items of woman in line behind me. The woman who worked the change rooms laughed at me when I said I was not comfortable using communal mirrors. I have worked in retail since I was 14 and the way this company runs is honestly disgusting.

Their return policy is a joke. Make sure before buying the item that it fits and there are NO defects. The stores are going downhill in terms of quality clothing and customer service is a joke. I have been a store manager in a few stores so my expectations on a clean store, helpfulness and product knowledge are fairly high but the experience here I would not even compare to a dollar store. Oh and check before you leave the store if they take security tags off, twice in a row they have left them on. Maybe it’s the only way to get you back into their store.

All I can say is I've browsed through this store a couple times in the last few months and not one staff member has spoken to me. Not sure what their guidelines for customer service is but I feel it's a pretty golden rule across the board that every customer gets spoken to at least once during their visit? It's a big turn off for me as a shopper so I'll spend my money elsewhere.

I’m guessing there’s about 15 staff in this store all busy socializing rather than being helpful. Pretty obvious they pick the customers they want to help and literally leave everyone else alone while they gather in groups to socialize. A special group forsure

As a male shopping at a female store, it can be pretty intimidating. However, the staff made me feel so good about myself! I am absolutely ADDICTED to the TNA sweatfleece collection, and they've helped me pick colors i never even thought would look good on me! LOVE! Thank you so much to the staff for helping me feeling comfortable and confident!

Bro this aritzia is literally the worst one in edmonton i'm sorry.the workers are so disrespectful and pushy.you will walk into the store and they will already be asking you if you need a room or to put it at the till.like i just want to look at some clothes i will ask if i need to and they also are very rude and give you judgemental stares if you don't look rich.i've had multiple bad experiences at the wem aritzia.i was trying on some pants and they kept pressuring me to try another size and kept saying that i should try a bigger size when the pants were literally my size and fit well.and then they asked me so many times if i'm sure that i want to buy this size and it just made me feel very insecure and i didn't end up buying them.there is only two workers that are actually respectful and certain workers that i will recognize and avoid.they are working as if they work at a very high end story like louis or gucci when it's literally just overpriced trendy clothes.i would recommend going to the aritzia in kingsway i love the workers there, they are so much nicer!

I’m going from 1 star to 5 stars. I was so upset because I called multiple location to ask if any locations had a specific top I was looking for, and I was told that only WEM location had them in stock. I called WEM and the girl on the phone said there are none left, and my friend went in person and the sales rep again told her it wasn’t available. I called again in the evening, and Yeong-ju was suppper helpful and found the top for me. She was willing to help and answer any questions. Please give the girl a raise!

Very saddened and disappointed by my visit to West Ed Aritzia today. I had picked out 2 body suits to try on with a skirt I bought from Zara earlier. I had mentioned this and asked permission to do so to the associate who was getting me a fitting room and she said absolutely and was very sweet about it. I tried the body suit on with the skirt and the girl who was originally helping me was hyping me up and was the best. It wasn't until another customer asked a different associate where I had gotten the skirt from that things took a turn. While I was in the dressing room I could hear the other associates saying that I shouldn't be trying on clothes from other stores and when I exited the dressing room they were all standing around whispering and staring at me. This made the decision for me that I will not provide commission to anyone in Aritzia West Ed again. Focus on customer interactions and less on gossiping and talking badly about the customers. Very disappointed.

First time I've experienced such a bad customer service at the checkout with Aritzia in this location.
I was walking to the check out there are 2 girls in front of me. They are not in line cause they are still checking stuff out. One of the 2 cashiers told me wait they are in line (apparently they are not). So i was waiting like 2-3 mins then the cashier came to them and asked if they are in line they said NO but she asked to take their items and checked out for them when they weren't even ready to go yet and the cashier didnt even say a single word to me while I am the one in line and waiting to check out. I was so mad that I just put the stuff back and left.

I’ve been shopping at Aritzia for a while, and this was the first bad experience I had going there, I shop online, at all the Edmonton stores, and I get great customer service every time and never had any complaints. Went there for a return, looked around a bit, noticed a rack of clothes with the pair of jeans I wanted, with my size, for them to tell me I couldn’t buy them because they were on hold. If that rack of clothes is for people who ordered them and they’re on hold, PUT THEM IN THE BACK SO I CANT SEE THEM AND WANT TO BUY THEM. No other stores in Edmonton display clothes people have put on hold, and West Ed should do the same.

I recently bought a coat from here, and a particular store attendant, Bree, helped me find the right coat! The other staffs were friendly too and folded my clothes nicely; Bree also offered to steam my coat which I very much appreciated.

Extremely rude staff. I walked around for about 10 min, even made eye contact with some of the staff and they deliberately ignored me. I was about to ask a sales person to help me, she looked at me and walked away to talk to someone else. Just because I wasn't wearing makeup and wearing non high end clothes I was treated like trash. Horrible sales team

If I could give 0 star I would. Never recieved a phone call or email regarding my order so I tried calling in. Getting them to pick up their phone is like waiting to win the lottery. I love the clothes but the customer service experience has been like sh*t.

I was at the West Ed location yesterday shopping for graduation dresses. I was unable to decide between 4 dresses therefore since the store was about to close, I was told they would hold all 4 until the end of the next day. I came back the following day only to find out that the dress I had intended to buy had been sold even though it was supposed to be on hold. The lady helping me did not seem apologetic about the situation in the least and also seemed annoyed when I decided to leave empty handed. Yes I was disappointed about the dress being mistakenly sold however I was more disappointed with the poor customer service and the rude attitude I received in response to my situation. I have spent a tremendous amount of money at this store over the years however unfortunately I will not be returning to or recommending this location to any friends in the future after this experience.

The petite girl at the counter wearing white hoodie and short pants today was extremely arrogant and rude. She seemed very annoyed and looked at us like why you are here which made me feel discriminated. This isn't the only time I felt this way. Aritzia needs to train staff how to treat customers.

Their clothes are very nice and are quite expensive, but the quality of clothing lasts forever. However I do avoid going in the west ed location because of the vibe. The sales associate will only talk and help you if you look like you have items in your hands, or you look like you can afford their cloths. Just yesterday, I wanted to exchange a blazer I bought for something more practical for my vacation and I ended up trying on multiple items. Out of all the clothing, I ended up going for 1 pants. The girl that was helping at the beginning was very helpful and kind, but then after telling her that I was only going for 1 item, her mood changed. I asked her if there was a size left in this shirt I liked, and I was just going to purchase it along with the pants, and she gave me a cold answer of "no, just try on the medium, you never know. " and walked away. I know that Aritzia is a very competitive workplace, but for a company that represents woman empowerment and equality, maybe they should teach their employees to show equal respects and create a welcoming experience to anyone who enters the store.
I'm not saying that ALL employees are like that, some of them are very kind! But from 1 out of the 10 visits i've been there (approx.) I have only experienced 1 genuine and welcoming experience.

Totally Variable Experience; Unreliable Service.
The WEM Aritzia has always been a challenge to navigate - more so lately. It's difficult to navigate the store unscathed by irony and elitism. Considering the cost of the clothing, it's just not worth the time and effort.
I have found Kingsway Aritizia to be a safer and more enjoyable shop.

The artizia wem location is usually my go-to store. I am so disappointed by the lack of service I received today. Lately I have been noticing, depending on the way I dress, changes the service I receive. Last week, I came in wearing a nice dress jacket to fix a complicated online order. The service I received from the lady behind the counter was AMAZING and she was very friendly and professional. Today I came in with my mom, not looking the best, and I barely even received a "hello from any of the girls working in the store. I specifically came to artizia wanting help to pick out an outfit to wear to a christmas party. I usually get amazing service when I ask for help picking something out. Instead today I was not greeted by anyone and not asked if i needed any help. After picking out some things and carrying around them around the store, I was FINALLY approached by one of the regular employees and she started me a fitting room. She did not ask if I was looking for anything specific or if I needed any help. As I continued around the store, she same girl stood with another employee as they had a conversation about their studying the have been doing this week. The LACK of service continued as I went into the fitting room. I was hoping it was going to change, because I really wanted to ask someone for help in regards to the outfit I was wanting to buy. Someone lead me into the fitting room, without asking me if i had other pieces started. I had to grab my own clothes off their rack and hang them up for myself. She did not take my bag and offer to put it in a drawer, and I know this is a policy of the store. I liked some pieces I picked out but decided not to buy anything by the horrible service I received. The service the is being provided in the store is starting to show. There was many pieces in the store that had makeup marks or spots on them. I was turned off my many pieces because of this. As a store that has many regular customers and an expectation of high end service, I was very upset about the service I received today and will consider going to other boutiques instead.
