I visited Ashley Furniture on October 10,2023 and dealt with Joan Ong. I had the best experience possible. She really went above and beyond to help me out and to get me the best deal possible. She was very knowledgeable in both areas of couch’s and mattresses. She thought me how to properly lay my head on a pillow with different sleeping positions which I found very helpful. She was never once pushy nor did she push any sales on me. I found her to be very honest and to the point. I would recommend all my friends to the Deerfoot City location Ashley Furniture. I will also be returning to by a couch from Ms. Ong.

DO NOT BUY FROM FROM ASHLEY.
They are quick to sell their products but their after sales service is terrible.
Harry Sidhu misguided us in selection of mattress as their is big gap in between bed frame and mattress and both have been purchased at the same time.
Called sales guy few times but no help, his manager no help, guest service same story.
I would recommend any other brand over Ashley as their after sales service is terrible.
They don't look after their customers.
Unhappy Customer- won't be coming back.

For last two month we have three sofas 2 three seater and one two seater. We r satisfied both with sofas and delivery as well. Drivers were good. Delivery were in time.

Awful customer service. Received 2 end tables and a coffee table. Every piece has dents and nicks. The 2 side table drawers won't close properly and have visible damage from the moment we unpacked them. We called customer service right away. They want a 25% restoking fee for the return of faulty and damaged furniture. BUYER BEWARE.

UPDATE!

I emailed my concerns to the email below to my reply, have not heard from anyone whatsoever. Disgusting.

My husband and I decided to cancel the furniture we purchased within 48hrs. And I just received a call saying that I will be paying 10% plus the delivery fee. We never saw the package. Never within our possession whatsoever. On their terms and conditions, it never says you pay for the delivery fee when a product is cancelled. However, 10% restocking fee must be paid. My husband and I gladly accept that and we would pay for it. And when I told them I will not be paying for the delivery fee as it wasn’t within my possession and not on their “terms and conditions”, he said “NOT everything has to be under the TERMS and CONDITIONS. And you will be paying for the delivery fee. ”

Why do I feel like all Ashley employees are purposely trying to misguide customers? Please, save yourself the heartache and never purchase from Ashley. Disgusting.

The WORST customer service and NASTY employees! PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY!

We purchased a sofa from here. We specifically mentioned we lived on the fourth floor and the sales “professional” Harpreet "Harry" Sidhu said "Its fine, that will be no problem. " However, when they came to deliver the sofa they will not take the stairs also as it is on the fourth floor. Very unprofessional for sales representatives to tell customers information contrary to the terms and conditions. Harry is condescending and seems to get frustrated when questioned by customers. The manager would cut me off so he can say his piece before he lets me finish.

Please save your money! We decided to cancel our product because they are undeserving of our money!

Great experience. Didn’t realize how big this store is. I priced out couches before going in so I knew exactly what we wanted. Was easy, didn’t feel pressured, simple process. The staff was nice and kind.

I purchased the ottoman in may and supposed to delivered with other furniture in June. Ottoman was not delivered and after enquiring salesman told me it will be shipped in December I requested to cancel the order and he said I have to pay 10 percent for late cancellation. If the item is delayed they don’t informed at all and worst part manager IAN didn’t even talk to me in store he said I need appointment to meet him. When I went to purchase furniture he didn’t told me I need appointment. Worst service and selling items which is not even manufactured if you still want to shop at this locations make sure items available and they are not good at warranties at all

Feeling very frustrated with the customer service.
Communication has been poor after a mistake was made on their end with our order. Still do not have our order or answers. I just got off the phone with guest care and he was rude and could not provide me with anymore information than I have already received weeks ago.

Andre at Deerfoot City is super helpful and knowledgeable about everything. He is down to earth and not pushy. He made the purchase simple and easy. I'm very excited to get our new dining set.

Right after I left a good review and right after I received my furniture when they delivered one item, they damaged my wall and since December last year I haven’t get my wallet fixed. They only good at calling you when they want to sell you something but they have a really bad and poor service when you try to contact the guest service or the store really bad service.

Almost 200$/chair purchased end of August, cheap quality but Ashley won’t cover under warranty because they say it’s cosmetic! UNREAL WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN!

Friendly staff, informative and great service. Andre Morin helped us to select our furniture items. Andre was very smart and dedicated sales person with good knowledge of furniture and other items at Ashley furniture. Answered all our questions. I will highly recommend this store and Andre as sales rep. Also, I am a little lazy to write this review now, we made a purchase couple of months ago.

I will never ever recommend anyone to buy anything from this Ashley furniture store, because they always cheat with the customers. I bought a furniture from here and I did price match, they sent me a cheque of refund but it’s fake cheque when I deposited that cheque in to my bank they said it’s fake and it will not get cleared.

Fake people and fake company who just steal money from the customers.

DONT BUY ANYTHING FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE EVER AGAIN.

Bought few items such as bed, dresser, night tables, server from this store. Had a wonderful experience thanks to the help of GK. He is extremely knowledgeable and suggested us some nice items. Even knew the item numbers of the items I was inquiring about on top of his head. This truly showed his dedication toward his work. He was extremely kind and patient towards us. Really helped us pick some nice furniture and made sure they were delivered to us promptly as soon as they arrived at their warehouse.highly recommend this store especially this particular associate.

Great service from everyone involved from purchasing to delivery. They kept in touch with us while the furniture was on order. Set up our delivery just in time for Christmas ahead of schedule. We will be back to buy our bed and any other furniture we need. Andre was fabulous to deal with highly recommend him.

Careful of lying salesman and be prepared to be saddened by delivery dates

We bought a sectional at the end of October, initially told that it was one week out, which was the big selling point as we did not want to wait months for a couch as we needed one asap. Then upon payment we were told 3 weeks. Not unbearable. Three weeks came by and nothing, so we contacted our sales man who told us the one piece was in but the other will be another week out. Fine. Over 6 weeks out and nothing, because we had been ignored by our sales man when we were trying to ask about it. Finally called the store and were told JAN 2020. Not a phone call, text or email from the store about our delayed shipping. Super dissatisfied.

Extremely sad and disappointed to write this - What happened to me that's really something i can not keep it with me
I am not new to Ashley  - I  am a loyal customer of Ashley, and bought the entire furniture for the second home.just after a month - Sofa in the bounce room started making noises. I reported, an expert visited my place and concluded that it's part of Sofa design and can not be fixed. I discussed outcome with the store from where i bought  - after many phone calls, finally managed to get expert one more time but not for the same sofa, other one in living area - same excuse its part of design and upon my cross question, why Ashley not informed me at time of purchase, simple and funny reply, sale associate fault, he should. Sometimes life is not that easy as one can say. Anyhow, I recently went back to the store and discussed it again, but it seems like a useless effort. I wasted my time, efforts and money. For sure after this attitude, I am not a happy customer anymore, though I recommended my friends to Ashley in the past and now feel sorry for that.
Another funny thing, the warranties that I bought for all the furniture that I bought for my first home in 2014, collapsed  - even one of the sales associates confirmed, it's credited to your account and you can use it towards any future purchase.you know what when i asked, they said they can not see anything.all i could do was laugh and walk out as they informed me if you can not  ask within 6 months it collapsed.   Please do not come up with these kinds of excuses to just make money.sad seeing this especially from Ashley -

I tried to call back and managed to discuss the matter but seems like another waste of time as expected low professionalism - "mean it is what it is situation" I got reply, yes sir, sorry sir, we apologize etc.but no solution - do not care attitude". I really want to report this to Ashley USA head office but can not find contact detail - one day I will succeed. I have great issue with attitude towards customer.

Worse ever furniture store.
Sales staff at the store purchase item with my credit card. When I found he beg to not complain because he may lose his job. He promised to get my money refund. After six months I didn't get my money then reported to manager and guest care. They are also delaying for last two months and do not have any answer. I trust their sales team and management and they are doing frauds altogether.

Good service before the sale but sneaky sales person who lie about delivery date. Our relatives purchased a bed from the brick and were told right away that it won't arrive until Jan 2022. We purchased furniture from Ashely in Aug 2021 and were told we'll have it by Sep 2021. After Sept came excuses. The salesman said they don't have delivery drivers but product is in Calgary. Called customer service they said product won't be here until Jan 2022. Try calling store but they don't pick up. This is some third rate customer service. Please go to other stores and even company. Ashley never ever again.

This was my first time buying from Ashley and it will be my last. The day my living room furniture was delivered, the ottoman was defective. Has a hole on one of the corners and the centre part on top of the ottoman is sunken.

I thought they were going to replace the whole ottoman since it came defective since day 1 but no, they are sending a technician this weekend to fix it. We spent around $800 for a new ottoman, not for a damaged one and then get it fixed.

I bought a mattress from them, after three years the mattress is sagging, but they do not agree even though the person came to my house to see the mattress. Also, bad customer service for their guest service telephone line.

Very pleased with our experience at Ashley furniture. Especially Gaurav at deerfoot, he really took his time and made us feel welcome and never pressured us into making a purchase. We visited on 3 seperate occasions and every visit was informative and pleasant.

The manager Stacey Garcia is really rude and the store doesn’t have good delivery service.we ordered furniture in 1st of July and they still haven’t delivered and replaced the damaged stuff.

Went there to get what I was looking for and got it.
Although I had to drive another 20min away to the warehouse to pick it up. Sales person didn’t really know what was going on. Some reason I had much better service when I was there last to spend $10000, then today only spending $300. Really should be the same regardless of what you spend

See Andre! We went in tonight to find a sectional and could not have had a better experience. Andre is professional, helpful and a lot of fun to deal with. He showed us each sectional in the showroom and gave us his thoughts and opinions without being pushy. This place has every level of quality of furniture and we couldn’t be happier with what we picked. I wasn’t sure what to expect as I’d never been to an Ashley furniture but this place along with Andre will be our go to from now on. Can’t say enough good things! Thanks again Andre!

My wife and myself were looking to purchase a New Sofa Loveseat combo! My wife went alone to begin with, to the Deerfoot City Location and Spoke with Andre and Pardeep, she was quite happy with the service and respect she was given! My wife called me at work and we agreed to meet after work to show me the selections she was shown!
We met with Pardeep and went to see the selections that excited my wife! We couldn't decide that night, but agreed to come back the next day! We again met with Pardeep! He is very respectful and patient as we went back and forth, as we liked so many of the selections at Ashleys. We finally decided (on my Favorite!) Lol. We purchased a Great Sofa Loveseat The Alesandra! We can't wait for it to arrive in our home!

We had a wonderful experience with Ashley HomeStore! We were looking online at a couch but there was a glitch with purchasing. I called and the associate was super helpful with everything. There was a long wait time for it to be delivered so we went into the store to see if we really loved the couch enough to wait. We ended up buying 2! The sales associate PJ was extremely helpful, professional and friendly. Now we wait for the delivery!

Lairs! And zero customer service. Run Away from the store as fast as you can. If they tell you that they have place and order for your furniture. This mean you will have to wait forever. I had placed and an order for furniture worth almost 10k. Bedroom Set, Couch, Dining set. Mattress Etc. Order was placed June 24th. Delivery date was set for 7th August. I was told by my so called store Manager that most of the items are in stock and they will be able to deliver the complete order on August 7th. 4 months latter I have still not received parts of my order. I had to cancel mattress and the Adjustable base and buy it Locally.

We hit Leon's and Lazy boy before we came to Ashley. At Leon's we had a sales guy follow us around like we were going to rob the place and at Lazyboy no one approached us once. At Ashley a sales guy GK approached us and introduced himself and let us know he was there if we needed him and that was that. We found a sectional we liked and he came over a few minutes later. He went over defferent specs with us, pulled out his measuring tape (which we appreciated) to give us an accurate idea of how we would be modifying the design. We left and came back a week later and this guy remembered us by name! We told him we were pretty sure we wanted to seal the deal and he encouraged us to go sit on it for a few minutes to be sure it was what we wanted and he would be over. We bought the sectional. It's awesome! And honestly, GK made it happen with his relaxed and friendly sales approach. The whole process was stress-free and seamless. Thanks again GK!
