Extremely dissapointed with the quality and lack of support from Ashley’s team members on dealing with cheap faulty products. They take no personal accountability whatsoever and do not care to resolve problems for customers. We purchased a bed from them and from the get go the wood showed signs of splitting and the legs fall out from underneath throughout the night resulting in waking up with our head on the mattress on the floor while our legs are still up in the air. We payed extended warranty and have been sent on a wild goose chase with no resolution for the past two months from the staff at the SE shop location to the “customer support” that deal specifically with this issue and no one takes responsibility. Just goes to show businesses like this only care about profits I wouldn’t waste another cent with this company and have told all my friends not to waste their money there either. Disgusting.

I had the worse experience with Ashley furniture. We bought a couch that they couldn’t get it through our door so we had to return it but they are not getting the tax fee back, plus they are charging us for restocking the couch. So we either lose $500 or get a store credit and lose $260. I honestly just want my money back and don’t wanna do any business with this company because they are rubbing us. Who has $500 to give away just like that. It’s not my fault that the couch doesn’t fit our door. The sale associate (jerry) that we did deal with, should have warn us that this couch might not fit any door. I also think it might would if they had take it out of the package.
Anyway don’t buy from them because they are thief.

I had the worst experience at this store, the manager Prince, lied to us about the shipment of our order just so we can purchase the couch on the same day. When we were at the store, it was prince and another employee helping us out and they both were quoting us different amounts for the couch which already was very frustrating. We explained to him that we recently moved in to our condo and do not have furniture, we specifically told him we are looking for a couch that is available to be shipped in max 2 weeks. He promised to get it shipped on Oct 26th, I made the purchase on Oct 15th. I took a day off from work to be available for the shipping. On the morning of Oct 26th, I called the customer service line to get a timeline of the shipping and I was told by the rep that the store did not put an order for your shipping and it will take another 2 weeks for the couch to arrive. This is extremely frustrating and the worst customer experience ever. I need upper management from Ashley to call me asap as the staff at this store is lying to their customers just to close sales.

I shopped at Ashley Homestore in South Calgary and it was an increíble experience! I was greeted immediately when I entered the store. I was assisted by a Sales Associate named Destiny and she was very knowledgeable and professional. I was able to purchase all the items that I needed. Destiny was very helpful and patient with me during my indecisiveness. I would highly recommend her and the Ashley Homestore.

Initially I thought my experience in store with the sales person was great and was happy with my over all experience. However, upon delivery I came to find out that the sales person did not include any of the details for removal of our old bed or relocating in the house, which we paid for and discussed with her. Thankfully the delivery team was very kind and did it anyways as we did pay for the service. Then after the bed was set up it turns out the sales person advised/ordered the wrong size mattress. We thought we bought a king bed and a king mattress, bed received was actually a California king and a regular king mattress. I called customer service to discuss the issue at hand. The lady on the phone essentially told me it was not their problem and that I had to go back to the store and make the sales person take responsibility for their error. What kind of customer care is that? ! I also left a voicemail for the store location and have yet to receive a reply. When I go into a store and work with an employee of that establishment I assume/expect them to be knowledgeable of their products and advise us on the correct corresponding products to purchase. I am truly disappointed with the customer support at Ashley's.

Absolutely terrible customer service, we ordered a sectional during their "system outage" which was over a week. During that time they couldn't tell us if our item was in stock or how long it would take to receive the item (which was fine). We were assured that once the system came back they would call us and at that time we would have 48 hours to decide if we wanted to follow through with the order with no penalty.

Fast forward a bit and we emailed them to cancel the order the night BEFORE their system cam back up, we also went into the store the next day to cancel it in person just in case. We never got a call or anything from anyone saying that their system was back up and to give us a timeline for our sectional, we assumed all was good. A few weeks go by and we start getting phone calls about delivery and we tell them that we canceled it. Now they say it wasn't canceled and we need to pay the restocking fee which is ridiculous. I will never buy anything from their store again

We had a great experience from start to delivery at the Ashley Store in Deerfoot Meadows! Our sales person Kate was great she let us do our thing but was always available to help with our questions. Then came time for delivery. They send you a text and email to give you a window time estimate for the day of delivery but they also send you a cool link that you can track your driver and it also updates your time of delivery! So, very helpful this tracking system is and it's very accurate too. It allowed me to be able to go about my day and not wait around for hours for my delivery! Just awesome! The delivery people were super nice very fast and efficient! They took my old couch and loveseat out and away and moved in the new stuff! Absolutely very satisfied with the quality of my purchase and the level of service we received on all fronts! Highly recommend!

The product quality is poor and the after-sales service is worse. I moved to Calgary and bought several pieces of furniture in this store, all of which had quality problems. Moreover, the attitude of after-sales service is very poor. No staff contacted me for a long time after I complained about the problem. I put forward to return money, they say according to the company regulation want to charge certain proportion of fine, I do not know they with what their mistake return so hard spirit! I swore I would never buy anything from them again.

Loved shopping at Ashley as the sales personal were not pushy or overbearing. Neil introduced himself then left us to browse. He checked in when he saw we had an interest in a sofa and recliner and answered all our questions.
He called us the next day to follow up and answer any remaining questions. We made the purchase the next day.

Products are not great quality and they don't back it up at all. Why don't they back it up? They know its garbage. I was told by customer service that they could not help and to throw my sofa that was less than 2 years old in the garbage!

The sales staff is very good at the store but once you walk out of there you are on your own. I purchased a few items and paid for white glove delivery. My order was placed July 9, my final delivery for all my items was Sept 7. Now the only reason my final delivery was Sept 7 was because I phoned every week and as soon as they had some things ready I had them delivered. What I found out is that they reallocate the stock every 10 days. So if you phone and something is allocated to your order and you don't ask them to deliver it will be deallocate after 10 days. Ashley furniture come on I worked in manufacturing for years and did allocation and when you get so many back orders you need to re think how to do allocation. My advice is make them do as many deliveries as you have to so you get your items you purchased.

We recently moved and are up-sizing from apartment living to a full house. Went in to Ashley HomeStore on a whim and were blown away by the service and the entire showroom experience. Extremely happy that we went in and highly recommend Prince to anyone who needs a furniture upgrade.

Initially left a 5 star rating after shopping at the store. Based on experience after purchase have updated to 1*.

Purchased a sectional and bed frame at the beginning of September and was advised delivery would be last week of September, which was perfect as we had family visiting for the month of October and the sectional was a sitting area for them. Every time I phoned for updates the delivery got pushed further and further back, now being told the full sectional would be here by middle of November! As we had guests in town and were using patio chairs we agreed to have half the sectional that was in stock delivered mid October with the bed frame. Less than a week later I noticed the sectional was now priced $500 less. I called Ashely to see if they would adjust the price as I did not have the full sectional and was advised as we had accepted half the price could not be adjusted.

This is my first time purchasing from Ashley and based on this experience most likely the last.

Sent multiple emails directly to Ashley furniture with no response. Seems they only respond via generic message to reviews!

MR. Johnson was quite helpful I even brought carpet samples. To match up with my furniture. Was able to talk feely with him was quite helpful. His bubble sprite made the experience pleasant and not feel like a waste of time.

The employees in the Store Are very helpful and not pushy. We were very well taken care of by Tisha and she helped us and Made sure we had no questions left to ask. She was trying to get us the best deal we could and did not try to up sell us anything we didn’t want. It was a very pleasant experience

We received great service with Ashley. Found a minor flaw with our end table, and our rep found us a replacement the same day. We had no hassle with this. This was a minor purchase, and they treated our situation the same as if we were purchasing an entire bedroom suite. Very impressive

My partner and I have just moved out to Calgary and needed to get a few main pieces of furniture for our new home. We had a budget we needed to keep. Neal and Stacey from the Calgary location by Costco (heritage street) went above and beyond for us and got us an amazing few pieces of furniture. They also managed to stay within our budget! Thanks again Neal and Stacey we will be back!

If you are under Study or any Work visa in Canada: Ashley works with Fairstone as credit check vendor and they DO NOT approve any financing for anyone that is not a Canadian citizen or permanent resident. I learned this after having 2 credit checks rejected, then calling Fairstone to understand the reason for that.
For me it makes ZERO sense that such an important store like Ashley have such kind of vendor that is not aligned to the country’s efforts to have immigrants in here.
Watch out, don’t hurt your credit history here if you are under study or work permit.
The sales guy that helped me (Rick) was amazing, but this issue at the end was truly disappointing.

The purchase at the store was professional and friendly.initial purchase 5 star.unfortunately I'm going on 7 weeks without the couch. I phoned today and it will not be compete until mid November.not impressed with the wait time especially when I was advised differently.

Date: 30 Sept 2021- Got a call from Guest care and basically provided no solution though in their comments they mentioned that they have provided the solution. They just gave me the same message which the store gave and now i have to wait another 2 months.

Please do not buy anything from Ashley homestore. I am currently having a horrible experience with their team and store manager Jackie. I had placed an order approx 5 months back and have still not received the delivery. The store manager does not bother to inform the customer as well about any changes or delay. I visited the store multiple times, called multiple times but everytime i get a new date.

Being such a big store, they cant even manage the logistics in 5 months. The store manager Jackie does not care about customer service and no solutions provided to help the customer. They think that now the customer has bought the furniture, they can delay as much as they want since at the end, it is the customer who is going to pay the penalty for cancelling.

The worst store in Canada in terms of service. I feel cheated at the moment and stuck

I recently purchased a couch set from Ashley’s Home Store and got my last couch delivered on Thursday, Sept 23rd. I was not aware of the damage done to my wall until I signed for the couch. I called customer service within an hour of my couch being delivered and they declined to help me in any way because I signed for my couch before reporting the damage done to my wall.

I was unaware of the damage because I was looking after my child and I trusted the delivery team in my new home. To completely deny the damage when the pictures clearly show that there is lint from the couch stuck in the abrasions done to my wall is ridiculous and infuriating. I am very disappointed with my customer service experience. What makes my situation more frustrating is the silent treatment I am receiving from their head office after emailing them over 4 days ago. I have yet to furnish the rest of my home and I will be taking my business elsewhere.
If you do decide to purchase anything from Ashley’s don’t sign for your furniture until you have checked your walls and floors for any damage. Not only did I pay over $3000 dollars for my couches; I know have to pay out of pocket for someone to fix my wall.

Do not buy here.

I bought a 1,000$ TV stand. "Maple wood", factory "in the USA", "will avoid covid delays", bla bla bla.

What arrived was IKEA-quality particle-board piece from vietnam. The only hint of maple was the paint job. Fine, I guess i should read the small print, okay. The story is in the condition, and service, not me getting hoodwinked on the sales pitch.

The condition of the item was: seriously chipped door, the screws completely rusted. Not a little bit rusted, completely, entirely rusted. Like the bag with the screws was poorly sealed, and spent a year at sea, floating from vietnam. Look at the attached photo. Garbage materials, garbage packing - garbage quality, basically. Ikea is better, and they are honest at least.

Instead of taking the faulty piece back, i was told they will order a new door, and i will have to repair the stand myself, in many many weeks, whenever the 'factory in the usa/vietnam' makes the door.

So, when you buy at Ashley, you buy not new furniture, but a furniture that you will be fixing yourself. You pay them for that privilege.

Dont buy here. We all know everyone makes stuff in vietnam, but if things go wrong, Ashley warranty service is garbage.

I actually bought several items from them, the TV stand was the cheaper piece. I will enjoy going down there tomorrow in person to cancel my other order, thankfully it wasnt delivered yet. I'll take the rusted screws down there as well.

One of the worst customer service experience. I work in sales. I understand when things are not communicated well. But in my case, I spoke to Christopher from customer service. My sofa set arrived earlier than expected. 3weeks which is great, I set up a delivery date in the beginning of the month to get it at my new place by the end of the month when I have possession. The team asked me specifically what time I would prefer the delivery for and I informed, delivery should be for evening time.

2 days before the delivery I receive a delivery confirmation telling me my sofa set will be delivered between 130pm - 4pm. This is ridiculous. When I specifically informed all members I spoke to that I require that delivery for the evening they decide to change my time.

When speaking to the manager and the customer service rep, who of course has not been taught customer service to proper standards. They speak over you and do not listen to a word you say. Plus to make things even worse, I speak to the same individual "Christopher" twice. The first day I speak to him he asked me to call him back the following day at 9am to speak to the delivery team, when I call the following day he went on repeating the same message to me as the previous day.

Not impressed at all!

I had an awesome experience today at Ashley HomeStore and had a great salesman (Princewill). Was stuck between beds and did not feel pressured or rushed into anything.there was also lots of ideas and options on display.

So it sounds like there is a major supply chain/warehousing issue in regards to getting things in stock. But whats annoying is that they keep giving me estimated dates, then saying they will let me know if it changes, and then I'm never informed. Dates have been pushed back three times since I've ordered and every time I have to call and ask. I'm worried at this point I've paid for furniture I'll never actually receive. I don't have furniture in my house so I'm literally sitting on boxes at this point I wish I had purchased from somewhere else

I bought a dinning room table and when i got home it was broken in the box and then they said it would be up to 6 weeks for the part and if i wanted to exchange it with the same table or a different one it would cost 10% of the cost of the table for there screw up or atleast a product they sell and gave me a broken one the product is decent but what kind of customer service is that?

Ashley has a wide a variety of furniture and home decors. I am very happy and satisfied with my purchases from them! The pieces that I bought are all very durable, comfortable and stylish. Also their staff are very friendly and accomodating. I would definitely keep purchasing from them!

Had great service from Prince. Needed a new sofa as our old one wore out during Covid. After looking and asking questions went home to decide. Made an appointment for the weekend as it was busy. He was there to greet me and had things ready. In and out quickly. Thank you

Very disappointed by the quality and customer service. We bought a beautiful leather recliner love seat along with our whole house furniture from Ashley for the amount of +$20000 in 2015. We also paid for extended warranty on this Power recliner.
Last year, all of sudden the leather started ripping making it look so ugly. I contacted customer service but they simply declined the request saying the warranty is over. They also said that I could have called them before. I explained that due to COVID, when everyplace was closed, how can I imagine that you were open. I also requested to consider this situation and do something, but they simply denied.

Now I can’t even throw away this loveseat as it is so expensive for over $2000. Every time I look at this ugly piece in my living room, I feel so embarrassed.
Very bad experience. I don’t recommend spending money there at all!

I enjoyed working with Prince with getting furnitures for my new home, he wasn't pushy or forceful. He listened and worked with me on what I wanted and needed by providing me with the best options available. And I enjoyed jumping on the couch trampoline, it was fun at this store. Thumbs up to Prince for a wonderful service.

Never ever buy again from this Company. I had warranty. First they sent technicain for review damage and then no news for 3 month. When I call they said repor is done but and they paid to technician but nothing was done. After 2 month process they told me applogy for delay and we will give you gift card and will do your repair.and then 1 month after no card no repair and when I call they told me no vinyl cover but my damage not only on vnyle but on lether also.wow what a services

AVOID- WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE! Horrible Customer Service. Spent over $6000 in the store. Waited close to 3 months for a desk and bed. Multiple times we arranged to have the furniture delivered only to wait and no one to show up. Finally get the desk and it's damaged. Waited over 10 days to have someone call to arrange resolution. Still no desk and don't know when this will get resolved. Horrible customer service overall. The team in the store is great til they get your money and then you're at their mercy. Big company that doesn't care about customer service.
UPDATE- AUGUST 20TH- They delivered the repaired desk with additional issues, where the Crack was semi repaired but the technician painted their fingerprints on the desk. Desk is still in some repair shop for the second time and it's been 2 more weeks. Total wait for this desk= close to 5 months. Refuse to expedite a new desk.

This has been the worst experience I have ever had purchasing furniture or anything else for that matter.
Where to begin… purchased everything for bedroom in June. Was aware it may take awhile to come in but when it finally did arrive, there was no bed frame to put mattress on. I was told it was in stock when I ordered it. Then the headboard is broken and instead of replacing it, they are sending someone to glue and repair. Who would purchase something brand new and then have it repaired! To get someone to help with the headboard I had to do it in a chat room WTH! Rudest person ever (Faith). Told me that she had given me my option and if I didn’t like it I would have to figure something else out. Oh don’t worry Faith, I will and you will be the first to hear about it.
So I wait 2 more weeks for the frame. They call to set up delivery and I book it for the 5th as I’m away the 6th. Then I get my delivery email and when did they book it for…the 5th. Oh my God. Can these people do anything right!
Do not shop there. Great salesperson but dumped me as soon as I had problems

Don't buy anything. I bought Sofa and Love seat and still waiting since ages. Every time I call the guest care team and ask for the status of my order they keep on dragging my furniture delivery dates. The customer service is rough.

Great service! Love that they aren't like most stores and let you shop and are available if you have any questions. Our sales guy was Prince and he was fantastic! Very helpful and friendly. Provided water to myself during the paperwork process. Really appreciated the great customer service.

Very impressed with all the staff at Ashley! We visited multiple stores before finding what we liked and no store treated us as well as Ashley! Raval was amazing, his product knowledge was great and he was friendly and not too pushy and didn’t pressure us. He treated our young kids well and got us a great deal! Even Ashley on the admin desk was awesome to deal with and very friendly! We won’t go anywhere else without visiting Ashley first in the future!

Stacey the sales manager at the Heritage location was amazing to work with! She provided us a written quote along with the dimensions of each furniture piece. There was no sales pressure and she gave us the option to bring a designer pillow of similar colour home so we could better envision how the high profile bed-set would match our existing night tables.

We decided to proceed and place our order over the phone a few days later. The best part of our experience, Stacey mentioned a further discount we could receive by signing up for an email promo code that applied to our order. I highly suggest working with Stacey for your next purchase - You won’t regret it!

Fantastic Service!
Our sales representative, Prince had good product knowledge, was accommodating, and highly approachable. He was upbeat and friendly from start to finish and helped us fulfill our goal in a timely manner.
We also found the prices to be fair and the furniture to feature great support and quality for its cost.
Would highly recommend Ashley for your furniture needs.

I made a purchase about two weeks ago and the instore services was awesome. However my issue / headache began when the delivery did have all the items I had purchased. I have called guest services and the store numerous times to find out when I will have my mattress but each time I am told we will call you back and no one ever does. I am tired of dealing with Ashley furniture and when I tell them to cancel the order they want to charge me for it, as if this is all my doing. I an deeply disappointed.
