In store experience was good. Delivery of new furniture was good. The problem is as follows: delivery team said they did not have room on their truck for the old couches that they were to remove and they would be back later that day to do so. They did not show. Four calls to customer service later and we finally had a pickup scheduled.for one week after the initial delivery. Fast forward to the pickup date.delivery team had an old address and had gone to that location, gave them the proper address (that Ashley already had in their system mind you, as they successfully delivered the new furniture to the proper address). They said they'd be at the proper address in 40 minutes. 10 minutes later I get a text, "your delivery could not be completed. " and they have not shown up, it's been almost 2 hours. Called customer service again.delivery has to be rescheduled. We paid good money for "white glove" service. Not happy and will probably never shop at Ashley HomeStore again.

Worst place ever to buy furniture. Bought beds, dining table etc but the quality is really poor. Started facing issues just after a month of use. On top of that customer service is much worse. Doesn’t give proper solution, just keeps on calling with same answers

Has taken 2 months to deliver correct item because they delivered the wrong item in the first and still has not been rectified. They now have sent a floor model that is chipped Customer service is just giving us a run around and will not take responsibility DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE

DO NOT buy from this Ashley store, since you have to pay for the merchant’s mistake from your own pocket.

I have purchased a three piece bed and a mattress in this store on May 14. I need the bed and mattress ready on May 24, since we have guests coming to my place on that day. I double check with the Manager Harish to express my expectation to get a in stock (quick procession) mattress. He confirmed the mattress will be shipped together with the bed on May 24. Therefore, we chose a mattress he recommended which he promised will be delivered on time.

On the scheduled delivery day, they just shipped the bed boards and box, but no mattress. I called the customer service lady, she said the mattress is not in stock. They will reschedule to May 27 to complete to delivery. I asked her to cancel the mattress and requested for a refund. I cannot just let my guest sleep on the spring box, so I borrowed a truck and purchased a mattress from Costco in the afternoon because of Ashley’s mistake. Ashley’s customer service lady told me that I have to pay a 10% restocking fee. We are so disappointed that we have to pay restocking fee for the merchant’s fault.

I ended up paying 10% restocking fee, because I just want to return it and stop wasting time deal with back and forth.

Avoid this store at all cost!

Update: As the store customer service replied, I sent them an email with my order number and phone number to look for a correct and fair solution in June 2022. However, 8 months have passed and I have not get any email, phone call from Ashley.

Harish was the most friendly and amazing sales person. He helped us with colour and style. I highly recommend coming in and exploring the options that Ashley furniture has to offer. The whole experience from walking in the door to completing our purchase was easy and hassle free.

AVOID BUYING ANYTHING FROM ASHLEY! I just left a 1-star at first but, seeing the automatic reply the owner left, made me leave a comment too. I bought an armless sectional chair from Ashley two days ago. I can't believe they would suggest to leave an email address for them to reach out to me because I called the store and told the guest care about the color difference between what I ordered and what I have received. Their only response was that we can not guarantee you'll get the exact color even if you return and pay 10% restocking fee! The guest care didn't care what I was explaining to him at all. It was like he was just kept reading canned answers to me! I won't set my foot in Ashley again and would warn everyone of buying anything from them.

I was here on Monday Jan 16th at 7: 30 pm to browse for some furniture and decor for my new apartment. I was the only one in the store and greeted when I came in. I was then followed by a staff member who checked in and asked if I was looking for anything in particular. I said “no thank you, just browsing” and he continued to follow me closely (like 3 ft) behind to the other side of the store and watched me while I shopped. I said “thank you, I’m good” and tried to just continue to look at the products in peace. He then proceeded to follow me around and watch me like a hawk. I was very clear that I was just browsing and wanted some space. I was in there for 2 minutes before I was so uncomfortable I had to leave.

Super uncomfortable shopping experience and I’ll never be coming to this location again.

Soo bad delivery guy soo rude they just drop the sofa like garbage bag and close the hallway with tow elevators, no sign request as delivered, unbelievable and horrible people, I don’t recommend it at all

Right from purchase to delivery, Ashley provided excellent service. The salesperson was extremely knowledgeable and friendly and showed us many different models with the specifications we gave him. The customer service agents on the phone when I had to reschedule the delivery were wonderful. And I can’t say enough good things about the delivery people. They were careful, friendly, personable, and even showed me how to take the couches apart if I ever had to move them. I will definitely be shopping at this store many more times as I furnish my library and purchase a new kitchen table. Very very impressed!

I dont know why i did not learn from my mistakes the last time we ordered from Ashley and horrible guest service experience. Guest service is nonexistent. Just a waste of time.

We ordered an ivory couch. We received a couch that has green hue to it. No its not the lighting either as we have natural light from the big windows, bright white light bulbs, and white walls We decided to exchange it for something else as most of our furniture/walls are white and all it does is make the couch even more green. We were told at the store we had to pay the 10% restocking fee but to try to dispute it with guestcare as the store has no control over it. We knew from the time of purchase that if we changed our minds about it we would pay a fee. That is understandable. But this isnt about changing our minds. WE LOVE THE COUCH but in ivory not green. And since we paid for an ivory couch you'd think thats what we're entitled to. Guestcare word per word: "I have forgotten to mention that the manufacture does not guarantee color dye lots and they reserve the right to change how they manufacture any item at any time without any notice". So you can order one thing and they have the right to change it. I spoke to a different person via phone and she basically said the same thing. I confirmed with her that if the new couch we had exchanged it for shows up purple would we have to reselect again and pay another 10%? She said yes LOL. And thats the end of it.

Lets just hope that this time i actually get the couch i ordered and the manufacturers don't get a little rainbow happy with the dye. Or get a little creative and change the design of the couch.

Oh also the couch is shedding. I noticed the shedding once i lifted the cushions.

Good products but they can take a while to arrive sometimes. Delivery company they use is very accommodating to changes. Prices are often more than other sites though, but financing option is great

On a pretty casual Sunday we decided to make a visit to Ashley Furniture as we had recently purchased a house. We were greeted by what we believe to be the manager. We stated we didn’t have any questions at the moment and that we just wanted to look. We made our rounds casually and did not find anything we wanted. The gentlemen approached us again and wondered if we liked anything and we stated no. As we were about to leave he decided to give us a lecture on how we should be asking questions about the furniture and that also how long it takes to deliver etc…this was after we had politely advised the gentlemen that we weren’t interested in anything. He stated if we don’t ask questions then we were there to just look around which we wondered if there was anything wrong with that? Why would we bother wasting anybody’s time if we knew we were not going to buy. This was okay until he made a gesture with his hands that insinuated “forget about you guys” and turned his back on us and walked away. It’s safe to say that we will never buy or step foot into this place. This was our personal experience.

NEVER EVER VISIT THIS STORE!

The Sales Managers, specially Harish, and the girl at the front desk, Sheetal, would be nice and seemingly supportive of your delivery timelines when they try to "help" you out with your purchase. Once your order is in, you are at their mercy when they choose to not give you follow-up calls which they themselves promised, not pick up calls when you call them or force you to give them calls several times throughout the day because they are "busy" with other guests and can't help you. I have had a terrible experience at Ashley and would never ever go back there.

My mattress delivery was delayed. When I spoke to the Sales Manager he gave me a certain date which is less than 2 weeks away, and when I call the Guest Care Line they tell me it will take 2-4 weeks or possibly more. I clearly told the Sales Manager before the purchase that I am only purchasing the stuff because he is promising timely delivery. I received partial delivery of a box spring and dresser with mirror. Both were damaged when they arrived and the technicians were handling them pretty roughly. I had had enough and wanted to return them as the repair/replacement parts would take 4-6 weeks which does not work for me. I am now being charged 25% for returning the damaged furniture even though I called them promptly for scheduling a return!

At this point, I am not gonna take chances with the Mattress either and am canceling that order too for which they will charge me 10%.

Given my situation, I requested a full refund for which they said they cannot help me because its company policy to charge the 25% and 10%. But wouldn't that be valid when your Sales people are honest and not overpromising on the delivery time, and I didn't had to go through the hassle of calling you guys 10 times during my day? ! And also if your furniture arrived undamaged?

Aweful experience, will never ever recommend this to anyone! I had great experience at Leon's, The Brick, Structube and IKEA and will be going there for my future furniture needs!

Excellent customer service and great options to buy items that best fit my choices. For example Ashley provides a 3 months testing of a mattress and then changing if needed.

We received excellent service at the Brentwood Calgary location. They had a good selection of sectionals with attractive prices. Vinny who helped us was accommodating and knowledgeable of his products. Highly recommend this place.

Jon was a great help to me. I knew nothing about mattresses and he explained mattresses to me. He then helped me find one in a quick amount of time. I was approved for a 6 month payment plan quick and easy.

Not happy with the after sales services and customer care.

I bought a bed and it came with a part that was damaged. The showroom did not deal with the matter and asked me to call customer service. The customer services offered me to re-ship the broken part. It’s been 3 months and the part still did not arrive.
When I buy from a showroom I expect the showroom to provide after sales services as well. But apparently it’s not the case.

I was trying to buy a couch online but was unable too because the site said they could not deliver to my address. I called and got connected right away to a sales person. Achyut was very polite and helped me get my order fixed and instead we did it over the phone. It took no time at all and he had my invoice sent to me in maybe 10 minutes. Bonus that I get delivery in just 3 days!
10 out of 10 would recommend!
