Reserved the cab for pickup the following morning, the cab driver arrived a 10 minutes earlier, and got me to the airport in plenty of time. I've never had a bad experience with the Associated Cabs company or the drivers, which I've been using for about 11 years. Will definitely keep using this cab company.

HORRIBLE customer service. God forbid one of their cabbies is an a$$ out on the road- they dont wanna hear it. I called 5 times bcos they were not transferring me to the right ppl. A MANAGER hung up on me when i got thru.and i had not even finished my sentences. She was useless.so no wonder their cab drivers are horrible. Dont use them.use checkered or united cab. Owners should be embarrassed. Cab drivers who think they own the road.watch out for cabbie 394. Pointing to his camera.i got a camera too loser.

Very bad drivers, perform illegal u turns all over the city. This isn't chennai - weasels

Called the cab to arrive at a certain time. It was not there. Another cab arrived so I took it. My cab finally arrived about 5 minutes before I arrived at my destination.

Ownership has dealt with issues, would recommend if you care about company responsibilities for service. Fun fact learnt they have an app!

As always, some good drivers are bad. Do the drivers who drop the flag as you are entering the vehicle not realize it means no tip for them? It's not a money thing it's a respect thing

Tired after a long trip I hopped into a cab as it was conveniently ready to go fr the YYC airport. The cab driver tried to be nice, but throughout the whole trip was chewing on something, making clicking noises, putting it in and out of his mouth. The cab was stinky, possibly spices?
The driver did not take down the exact address of my destination but stated he was familiar with the area. As a result I had to tell him exactly where to turn. The price was outrageous. And to ask for a tip on top of that? Disgusted. I will never again take a taxi of any kind.

I do not like to leave bad reviews. The driver was polite but this company is so inappropriately over charging. Airdrie cabs will do a flat rate $30 to and from the airport to Airdrie. I was looking at Uber from the airport and it was saying around $37 to Airdrie. I figured I’d take a cab since we have had great success with the flat rate. I didn’t know Calgary cabs don’t do this (I’ve had this flat rate in the exact same cabs so I was a bit confused). I asked about it when I got in and the driver told me they don’t do that. To start off, it was at 9.90$ when I got in the cab…. My little 20min drive cost $56…… this is not acceptable when your competitors are charging literally half of this. This is why people don’t want to take cabs anymore, why people complain, why you lose business, and definitely why people don’t feel the need to tip anymore. Definitely not acceptable or competitive rates. Go with an Uber.

They always get me to the airport safely and on time. The drivers are always friendly. Exactly what I want from a cab company.

I will never use this taxi again. Our driver was making extremely unsafe lane changes and then slamming brakes after making the lane changes. These guys are going to kill someone

Quite possibly the worst cab service I’ve ever used. If I could give 0 stars I would. Horrible drivers who are not the least bit safe. Have been in several close calls in their vehicles that I’ve had to take to the company. Do yourself a favour and use quite literally anyone else. Waste of money and time.

Called for a cab and was told it was in the way. Can never showed up, waited an hour and called dispatch and was told to call another cab company.

Fake automated system will tell you a cab is coming only to lock you out of wherever you are waiting and then never show.

Then the call center will do nothing for you while you wait outside in the cold. Worst cab service of all time. 0/10, can't wait for the cab industry to die

Although my driver arrived when they said he would. He was very rude and not very accommodating. He had told me that he didn’t understand why I would call for a cab because it was only a couple minutes drive, (it was snowing and -15 outside so I would rather get a ride instead of walking). When it came to me paying I told him I would like to pay debit, he then said “ahh you don’t have cash? ” Overall, he made me feel stupid for calling a cab, as well as paying with debit. I usually never leave reviews but this was one of those times where I definitely felt the need to say something.

Don't both pre-booking they won't show up. When you call the answer will be no cabs in the area. Thanks for ruining our night.

Prebooked a cab at 6: 30am for 8: 00am and ended up late for work I was still eating for the cab at 9: 30 when I should have already been at work pebooking is a waste of time you still are not guaranteed to get the cab on time.

Horrible Experience using their service. Cab driver nearly got in a car accident. I did not feel safe with this cab driver. He got lost and did not know where he was going even though I offered to give him directions. He was then rude to me when finally arriving at my destination. I complained to cab company, they did not care! They said someone will call you back and get your complaint. No one did. Overall, really bad experience!

Worst cab ever. I waited 1hour before to called them to tell me I canceled my cab (which I didn’t) I order one other and an hour after guess what they canceled me again. I called taxi diamond and get a cab in 15 minutes. Never called Associates taxi cab they are the worst.

Did make a call to the company to check for the ETA the dispatch was rude I asked for his name he said it’s Jesus’s from the Bible that’s so funny he thought but that was races if the company management or the owner is real and can get this message they sure will call and check thank you.

We pre-booked with Associated a week in advance for this past Saturday (July 30th). We had an event to be at for a specific time. It was in "Your Rides" in the my app on my phone. I called to confirm Saturday morning to ensure the correct vehicle was coming for 6 of us. 15 mins after the scheduled pick up I called Associated to find out where our Cab was. I was told they were very busy and she would have someone out ASAP. The Driver called 45 mins after the scheduled pick up and said he was 15 mins away.

The driver was fantastic. However, very disappointed with Associated. Will be very a long time before we use Associated again. Too many options to stick with a sub par option.

I got picked up the Calgary international Airport and brought down to the Sandman hotel downtown the Driver didn’t know where We were going I had to put the address into his GPS then when we got to the hotel he drop me
Off in the alley so I had to get out in the alley and then go into the hotel that was on the corner of the street not impressed at all

We took this cab 991 from the airport. Driver was very rude. He was disappointed when we told him our address which is very near. He keeps on touching his ipad while driving, making sure it works. We just told him to go left, a route shorter. But he asked why? He insisted on the longer route. We told him we live here we know and he asked us why we are treating him that way? We were frustrated, we just told him directions. This guy still keeps on touching his IPAD all the way. My husband told him it works from the moment we left the airport and we just told him we'll give him $30 just stop touching his ipad and look at the road! The fare usually will just be $20! Never again we're gonna use this cab company. Uber drivers are more reliable, polite and respectful. There is no info about the cab# and driver inside but we took a picture of the cab.

Had wonderful experience with Jas (taxi #1537) from Calgary Associated Cab. He was the driver for my trip from Calgary airport to Strathmore which is 45km away. Because of his excellent service, I decided to book his taxi for the subsequent trips. He always shows up early/ on time for the trip and offers the best service.

First experience was good! Driver meek, but safe and no bs. Second time, driver makes “”mistake” to go and drive further. Claims he stops fare so no charge:) except lies, extra money for the cab company! Sleezeballs

Had a late flight into Calgary and tour company had arranged a transfer with a company that doesn't operate that late. After much pressure, tour company arranged a transfer with Associated Cabs from airport to Banff. Jeff personally called to assure me someone would be there, and then later sent driver contact info. Flight was 2 hours late, but our driver was there and was very pleasant.

It was 10$ to sit in the cab at the airport. And my 22km ride ended up costing 72$ where as Uber would’ve been 50$ I was tired from my plane ride and got taken advantage of due to fatigue so I didn’t notice till I got to my destination. Yikes not using associated ever again.

I've lived in Calgary over 40 years, and to date I have never had a good experience with associated cabs. The drivers are rude, disrespectful and have no consideration for passengers. They say you have a right to suggest routes or ask for fare estimates, but when you do, the drivers pretty much tell you to shut up. I would never recommend anyone to use this company. The follow ups with issues are also handled very poorly. Another reminder to not use this company even if in a bind.

Ordered a cab the day before for a 230am pickup to go to the airport and they were 23 minutes late. Not happy at all!

Well I ordered a Cab and it was over 30 minutes late. They called me an hour abs a half later after I canceled. I didn’t pick up. I tried to call and ask how long before the cab shows up and they leave you on hold.

Booked a day ahead. Late for flight because they had no vehicles in the area when they were supposed to be here. Ridiculous

Friendly drivers, but getting a cab can sometimes be an issue. They are busy and they have limited people working in the dispatch.

Taxi didn't even come to pick me up, and when I called the office they said the driver said the job was complete. Now I'm late for work because of their screw up. Operator on the phone was rude never again am I using this incompetent company

Drive was pleasant and polite. He kinda knew where I needed to go but had no problem making it there efficiently.

I always take a cab over Uber. I find the service and prices are way better. They always have my support!

From the very second my foot entered the car, the driver was very short with me. He seemed irritated. I had my 5 year old with me and intermittently, he would turn as if to make sure my son wasn’t doing anything to his cab (which he wasn’t.) When we got to our destination, as I was getting my son out, his winter boots brushed against his seat and the driver got very upset and in a very rude tone said “not my seats. ” There was absolutely no damage to his seats and the seats weren’t even wet. So his whole attitude and tone, especially to a child, was uncalled for. I will not be using this cab company again nor will I be recommending it to anyone.

Usually a good experience, however when I took a cab today, my cab driver (Mr. Zakaria cab 176) was on his cell phone while driving even after we asked him to put his phone away. This driver is dangerous to his passengers and other drivers. (this driver got a rating of 1star and a complaint to customer service by us) gave a 4 star review in general because of this

Getting into the cab demanded a 10 deposit which from where we got picked up to my home is not 10 dollars, would not drive my friend home even though it was 2 mins away from my house and then told me he can be back maybe in 30 mins to drive her home (which by then I could of walked her home in that time frame) made me feel really uncomfortable. Also took tip from the 10 deposit which because he made me feel really uncomfortable I wouldn’t of tipped. Thank you for the uncomfortable 2-3 minute drive

Their prices are cheaper during off hours. I pre-ordered a cab for the wee hours, and I think it was because it was a quiet time for the drivers, the driver showed up early. He was nice and saw that I had 3 bags sitting by the door steps, and he voluntarily came and put them into the car. I wish there is another easier way to pay so that I don’t even have to touch the terminal.

The driver was more than friendly knew exactly where I wanted to go n helped me in and out of cab as I was just let out of the hospital with broken leg and helped me to my door great service

This is not posted as a taxi passenger, but rather an observation. On Thursday, July 7, noon, on 24 avenue NW, westbound there is a pedestrian crosswalk on a walking/bicycle path. Not an intersection - just the crosswalk in the middle of the block. As I stopped at least 3 car lengths back to let a person on a bicycle with an attached child carrier cross, Associated Cab #36 zipped right past in the right hand lane, narrowly missing the person & child. Not speeding, just cruising right along as if he had every right to. I am posting here because Associated does not have an email on their site, nor a facebook page. I suppose that is one way to avoid bad reports.

So I waited 22+ minutes, the guy makes me prepay. So I do. And then tries demanding $0.70 on debit. 70 cents? I just prepaid you, your meter is still counting while parked so NO! So he blares the horn in the middle of the night down my entire street. All I needed was to get home after work due to an extreme medical condition. Good luck guys on your service and LACK THERE OF.

THE REVIEWS SAYS IT ALL. Taxi #998 started yelling at my kids not once, twice but 3 TIMES about moving around. (Mind you they are 3 and 2 with one that has ADHD) Not only that he slammed his brakes purposely having one almost fell and mind you I had a NEWBORN we were carrying in a baby sack so she almost got crushed and he then proceeded to pullover on the downtown edmonton trail bridge amongst construction workers and continued his tangent.

If i had 8 kids stranded out in Arizona and we needed a ride home and an associated cab pulled up? I'll say, No thank you, I'll walk.

Asked for a wheelchair accessible vehicle, they were able to help me. They said I would need to wait about 15-20min (I appreciate the honesty)

Took a cab from the airport last night. Good driver, polite and he knew where he was going. I will call them again.

Worst customer service ever. I was late for work, and the driver took the LONG way to where I was going. Never using again.

Professional, friendly and on time even at 4 am. After getting stood up by a scheduled Uber for an early flight, I took my mom's advice which I should have done in the first place and called Associated. 10 minutes later I was on my way. It may be old school but there is a human dispatcher on the other end of the phone line to assist you and a professional driver pulling up to your door. In this day and age that shouldn't be considered archaic - it should be considered great service.

I called them with plenty of time but the driver called me directly and asked for directions to starbucks 30 minutes after initial call.call yellow ANYONE but these clowns THEY MADE ME LATE FOR WORK

Mr Khan is a kind Indian driver who is not just a regular taxi driver, he is a human being who really takes care of his clients.when I had locked my purse, phone, car keys inside my car at 12 mid night in industrial area w no one around, he insisted, " you are like my sister I can not leave you here alone in the cold while you wait for AMA for 2 hrs. No one has gotten rich over night, I dont care to make a trip leaving you here".

Five times in a row they took me to the wrong hotel after confidently and arrogantly confirming they know what I want. Obviously they don’t. And worse yet they ask and confirm to eachother each time on what I want and sY they know and still take me to the wrong destination.

I call associated cabs from time to time and I didn't have problem at all. Dispatchers are amazing that I don't have to repeat my address. Very first time when I booked a taxi with associated, I asked the dispatcher if she got my address right. For unknown reason I cannot book appointment online. And I can see some cabs are economy models, but that is what I pay for. I am happy with associated.

Generally good service and efficient. We die have to call 2x recently to get picked up, no harm done and otherwise a clean efficient ride as expected and dependent somewhat on outgoingness of the driver we get

Taxi Drivers Act like they are doing the Customer a Big Favor, just by Driving, and Expect a TIP!
A TIP should only have to be given, IF the Driver OPENED DOORS for the Customer, &/or CARRIED PACKAGES for the Customer! We shoud NOT have to TIP just for Driving! We are already PAYING $ for that!

This driver made a illegal left turn and ran a red light nearly tboning my parents vehicle with my 1 year old brother in the backseat then aggressively swerved in and out of the lanes and turned right onto 6 st sw towards somerset without signaling causing more ppl to slam on the brakes unprofessional-5 stars

Worst service ever i book a cab online for a precise hour because i had to trip and it came half an hour late, almost lost my trip.

Cost me 1 1/2 hours to get my keys back we'll see how much it's going to cost me on the meter.an hour later the driver found my keys and charged me $26. Because he didn't do his Job, if it was my phone! "I didn't see anything" bs
Why would you return my keys for $26? The driver basically is doing it on purpose, because part of the job is to check his or her surroundings and always for the customer. Apparently not anymore.

I have been using Associated for 20yrs and never had an issue (except with the app, but, that's another story)

Anyways, I was tipsy coming home from the pub last and dropped my wallet in the car. An hour later, the driver came knocking on my door to return it, before I even knew it was missing. I was so happy I tipped him $20, which he tried to refuse, at first.

I wonder if you folks who write bad reviews realize that your own bad behavior was probably the main contributing factor if you had bad service?

The person on the phone was courteous. The cab arrive quite fast. Great driver cost of ride was fair. Great experience. I will use them whenever I need a cab!

Cab 1622 blocking one lane of travel at the safeway on 16 ave across from home depot, due to parking in a fire lane, apparently this cab driver can bypass parking laws because he was picking up a passenger.

They are terrible they either don’t show up or drive off without me I’ve given them too many chances I’m going with united for now on because at least they show up and are accommodating

Predatory drivers. I got jumped dt near bridgeland and flagged a cab to get back home in shawnessy.driver took full advantage of my swollen black eyes and took the scenic route all the way to stoney instead of just hopping on MacLeod.he then drove all around sun dance racking up a 60$ fare, while I argued to let me out of the cab so I can walk the rest of the way home. I've taken many cabs home from dt and they never cost more than 45$. Never again will I use associated.just go with UBER instead.at least their drivers care about their reputation and have a shread of accountability

Totally unprofessional! I had to ask driver to put on a mask, he got angry. I changed my destination, when I was in the store he called dispatch. When I got back in she was on the radio, screaming at me and swearing with my daughter in the car while the driver wasn't moving, and the meter kept running! She was screaming I had to pay a $15 minimum or get out of the car! I tried calling her because I couldn't speak through the radio and she said " Stop calling I'm not answering! " Well finally the driver started the car and my fee was $19.00! We were only idle for 3 mins so it would have been $15 anyway. They were just mad that I asked him to put on a mask! Do unprofessional! I took this cab company before and with a different dispatcher and I never heard of a $15 min. I only had cash today but I will definitely make sure I have money on my card from now on, so I can all Uber! So unprofessional!

My mom caught a cab from the South Health Campus hospital to our home in Auburn Bay at 6: 00 in the morning. The cab driver charged her before they even got to the house. They were sitting at a green light and he wouldn't move until she paid him. She also uses a walker to get around since she is an amputee, and he dropped her off and put her walker in front of her and left. He didn't even help her up the stairs to the front door, and on her way up the stairs she fell and hurt herself.

I would give negative rating if possible. Very rude agents. I wonder how could they continue doing business. Come on guys, customers give you business, you earn your bread through us, show some respect to your customers. This company does represent the Canada as I know.

Had Gus as a driver the best driver I have ever had literally never had a cab driver be so sweet. Would recommend. If you can request a driver ALWAYS request Gus

I gave this company one star for a variety of reasons. I had a long history of being well treated. I could not write a review with zero stars. None of the drivers were rude to me. But this evening took the cake. I pre-booked a ride. Half an hour later I was waiting. I called. Twenty minutes later I called again and I was told my ride was marked ‘completed’ I said I’m in a time crunch now. I’m told someone is on his way, it’ll be a few minutes. Fifteen minutes later I’m still waiting. I call again. Driver changed his mind and did something else. I called a company known for its bright yellow vehicles and ten minutes later I’m on my way. Guess whose 30 year loyalty is utterly trashed as this is the third time it’s happened.

When I called the guy on the phone was so rude to me because I was a third party he said I had to get the person I was ordering it for to call and when I said they don’t have a phone he just got mad and basically hung up on me anyways it was some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced If I could rate it 0 stars I would

Hussain was professional, polite, friendly welcoming, on time every request I asked I received! Perfect service! A week ago I also used this taxi from the airport and had perfect service. Thanks Associated Cabs I will always choose you!

Just tried calling for a cab and the man named Jimmy started yelling at me on the phone because my phone was on speaker. He continued to yell at me even after the call was off speaker then hung up. I called back and I could hear him asking the lady if I had called back again. At that point the lady became rude, hung up and lied saying she logged the complaint. That was the last time you will ever get any business from me and best believe I will be letting everyone I know never to use you again.

Booked in advance online, called night before, no problem the cab will be a bit late but I'll have a ride.

Get called after the pick up time saying that there's no cabs anywhere in my area!

I had to scramble to get a ride to the airport. Even after being told I'll be called by a driver when he's on his way, 6hrs before pickup when i called.

Worse customer supprt, service ageant speaking loudly and abusive qs they changed cab type to different from requested.

Had a problem with a cab driver harrasing me. Called to speak to a supervisor and the obly thing that the supervisor said was that if i wanted to i could call the police and press charges but that they wouldn't do anything to help rectify the problem. I would not recomend using this company

Associated drivers are so rude accessing Deerfoot from Memorial on their way to the airport that I would rather take a bus than use them when I fly into YYC.
I just arrived from Mexico and I am on the bus now. I know it doesn’t make much difference, but that’s $40 of mine that associated won’t get!

Do not use. After calling two times watching a cab drive by me and the second almost refusing me service I was beyond frustrated. Cab #1077 was not only overly rude dispatch did nothing to assist. I wanted to get home after a long day and I was demeaned asked to pre pay and disrespected beyond reason. The worst part. I *used* this service 7 times a week for over two years but will never use them again. You need to audit what you do assosiated and have some type of loyalty system I was treated worse then trash you should be ashamed of your company and it's current state. You lost a customer.

I booked a cab 3 hrs in advance for pick up from a location to the airport. And associated cabs didn't show up. After calling 3 times a cab finally showed up, and showed me that he only received the call from the dispatcher. I was ten minutes from missing my flight boarding, lucky I was close to the airport. So thanks. Associated used to be my go to cab company. Not impressed, guess they don't need the business. I don't know if I'll be using associated cabs in the future.

Just a heads up.if you are not happy with Associated and call Ablerta Gold.they are the same company. As I was told this morning by their rude driver.
I called Associated in a panic as my car would not start only to have issues with the dispatcher regarding my address. I ended up hanging up and calling AB Gold.to have Associated show up instead.
I didnt take the cab. I was so not impressed and I have used this company off and on for 30 years.will seek alternative from now on.
