Brad Beniuk was absolutely incredible at our house inspection this past week! As first-time home owners, my husband and I found his professional, yet easy to understand explanations and descriptions so helpful. He was open and honest about everything before and during the inspection, and sent us a 70-page report that recorded every detail, making this part of the home-buying process such a stress-relief. Missed a lot of things in my home inspection particularly 2 gas leaks that I needed repaired before I could move in, as well as a sub floor under the laminate that was starting to go soft/moldy and some maintenance issues with the water heater and furnace which cost a few thousand to rectify and, as per the furnace repair person, should have been very evident upon inspection and shouldn't have been missed. There is a warranty on the inspection this company provided which was initially comforting, but as I found out it only covers up to $500 per policy so I'm still out quite a lot of money. Additionally, after I wrote this review he contacted me via text and was very rude - I eventually blocked his number.

My partner and I are first time home-buyers, and to that end not super knowledge on house related maintenance, issues, or construction details. Our realtor recommended David at Atta-boy, and we both raved for the rest of the day at how good the experience was. David and Brad were thorough, informative, kind and patient (which is a huge plus for two know-nothing's like us). Having never been part of a home inspection before I feel confident and more knowledgeable about our future having used David and Atta-boy. Five-star's all around.

I brought David in for a post possession inspection on my new build. David was very through, and even came with indoor shoes that really surprised my 5 year old. He thought David was wearing outdoor shoes inside and tattled on him. David tested and checked out all the appliances, taking pictures of all the model numbers for a recall check. He also took pictures to include with all points of the inspection. The inspection report I received included not only images of everywhere he checked, but also included any notes of wear and recommendations of how to maintain or better that particular space/item. David also left behind with me a home maintenance manual that I'm sure will come in handy! I would highly recommend Atta-Boy Property Inspections for any home inspection, whether new or pre-loved, for peace of mind.

My husband and I have had a few inspections done on properties over the past half century and David truly impressed us! Not only did he do a thorough, professional inspection, but he noticed a product issue regarding the water tank and furnace that we would have certainly missed! Comprehensive report delivered same day as inspection and the list of added services was the icing on the cake! You want David Tiefenbach to do your inspection! Well worth the money!

Our realtor set up a home inspection with David on a brand new build. In a very short time of our realtor contacting David he was texting me to finalize the appointment and find out my information, with the inspection set to commence within 24 hours.

When we arrived at the house David had already completed the exterior inspection (this is noted in his inspection information packet that he will arrive prior to the time to complete the exterior) and had already started in on the interior inspection (our realtor arrived earlier as well to let him in). Upon conclusion of the inspection he gave a very thorough evaluation of the house as well as ran through the basic operations of the mechanics, such as water shut off, sump operation, sewer main line back water valve, etc. On top of this all he provided us a very detailed 38 page report (it's only a 1400 sqft house) within about an hour or so of completing the inspection.

In addition to the report, his knowledge base, and thoroughness of his inspection, David also provided a long list of trusted vendors and mentioned if any questions arise to shoot him a text or give him a call.

In the time we spent chatting with David (the rest he was checking EVERYTHING) you can definitely tell that he knows what he is talking about and is passionate about ensuring the accuracy and thoroughness of his inspections.

We have been looking at purchasing a home for the last year. We had found one in St. Albert that I felt met my criteria as a solid home and well maintained. As a contractor myself, I know that second set of eyes on a home is the best investment. David has a great sense of home systems.
