This Clinic is constantly upgrading and setting a new standard for comprehensive care and continuity of care in Audiological Services. Their team based approach is sine qua non. They are the goto referral audiologists for my 56 year community based Family Medicine Clinic and my own personal care.
Great facility, service second to none, friendly personnel and always on time. Very proactive in regards to making contact with their clients. I could keep going, but basically a top notch service.
Natalie has been helping my mom hear better for the past couple of years. She has gone above and beyond to ensure her ears are clean, testing her hearing aids, showing her how to properly wear them, doing hearing tests regularly, replacing any items that need repair and the list goes on! My mom says, "Wow I feel like I'm treated like a queen here". We appreciate everything you do and would rate this place 10/10! Thank you so very much!
I booked an appointment for my husband to get his wax removed. As soon as we reached clinic we were charged 150 dollars. Later the hearing aid practitioner came took us to room, didn’t even take a case history. Didn’t even explain the procedure. Directly did otoscopy and said there is no much wax and hence doesn’t have to be removed.
Just to say this they took 150 dollars, and they didn’t even return the money. I mean like they didn’t do wax removal yet charged just to say it’s not required?
The hearing aid practitioner was extremely rude. Didn’t even answer our concerns. Extremely disappointed.
Because of ongoing and progressive ear problems it has been necessary to have regular adjustments to my hearing aids and also more powerful units supplied. I find that the Audiology Clinic is very thorough, patient and their follow up has been excellent. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for aids for hearing or hearing analyses.
Staff are knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and informative. Products provided are excellent and staff makes sure everything works as it should. Totally satisfying experience.
The staff are always friendly and willing to help and answer questions.willing to liaise with the VA to help make the transition as easy as possible. I would highly recommend it to anyone.
Audiology has been my hearing aid provider near 20 years and they have been prompt in every way (Service repairs upgrades how to use equipment) and friendly environments and knowledgeable staff.
Yesterday, I took my mum to the audiology clinic for her hearing aid fitting. The audiologist was very knowledgeable, professional and very patient. She explained in easy to understand terms the whole process, did a detailed test on the device and made sure that mum was comfortable with the hearing aids. I would strongly recommend this clinic to everyone requiring this service. You won't be disappointed.
Great service with clear explanations of what they were doing and how the hearing aids work. Also very quick service, and past ongoing service has been superb.
My first contact with them was with Barb she really help me out to open my claim and friendly. Lisa the audiologist i been very patient, polite and friendly as well so the first two i dealt with were fantastic so I imagine the whole team is great. Thank you Andre
Larena is meticulous and determined to find the very best hearing options for her clients. She explains everything in a very clear and matter of fact manner. I would highly recommend her and this audiologynclinic.
I had my first hearing aids fitted today. Lisa, the aid Practitioner was very patient and thorough walking me through the lessons making certain that I could insert the aids and the maintenance and use.
From day one I have been impressed with the services of this clinic. They are on top of checking in, reminders, cleaning and providing the supports needed. Certainly a 10/10 with thankfulness ️
I can’t say enough great things about the Audiology Clinic of Northern Alberta! Professional and the service is also very personal. Natalie Roy is amazing! So fortunate to find this place.
Lorena has been providing hearing assistance services to our family for years. I attended my appointment today. Lorena provided very clear explanations of what, why and how she was testing. I appreciated her thorough review of my results. Excellent professional service. Thank you! - Howard
I have been going to this clinic ever since my hearing deteriorated in 2013. The service has continued to be beyond excellent throughout. The staff is very accommodating in all aspects whether it be flexibility in appointment booking, quick maintenance of my aid, and any other services. Barb and Roxanne are efficient and kind. Larena's knowledge and skills in audiology are exemplary. She is caring and patient and answers all questions thoroughly. Even though I live on the North side of Edmonton and the clinic is on the South side, I would not go anywhere else. You are in good hands if you choose to go to them for your hearing deficiencies.
I have tried many different hearing aids and several different vendors. The Audiology clinic was the best out of all of them. The staff was great and well versed in different options available for my needs. This should be considered your "one stop shop for hearing support"
Courteous, knowledgeable staff. They took the time to explain my hearing test results and the options available. They take the time to explain and walk you through the whole process of selecting the hearing aids that best suit your needs. I have since received my hearing aids and have experienced positive results. Their guidance has made this process an easy transition.
After several years of progressive hearing loss I chose the Audiology Clinic of Northern Alberta to help me deal with this issue. Natalie, my practitioner, has been knowledgeable, friendly and professional in all steps of the hearing aid process. She patiently answers my questions and has excellent teaching skills regarding hearing loss, choice of hearing aids and the journey to being a happy customer with improved hearing. Frequent follow-up is a priority of this company. Thank you ACNA!
I am very happy with my experience at the Audiology Clinic of Northern Alberta. My advisor, Ashlea, a Registered Audiologist was extremely knowledgable and patiently answered all of my questions. I felt confident in choosing the type of hearing aid I did and am pleased with my choice.
I booked an appointment here after being on the public health waitlist for four months, at the moment the estimated wait time is 14 months. Booking was very easy and e-forms were sent prior to the visit, which were very user friendly. Their COVID protocol felt safe and effective. Lisa was an amazing audiology practitioner, she explained the procedure and basic anatomy before beginning and asked if I had any questions prior to starting. Lisa was very kind and her passion for her profession really showed.
The staff is always pleasant and couteous. The services they offer are well looked after They care that ou hear properly not just to Seel you a hearing aid.
Ashlea takes the time to listen and provides excellent professional care. Also great service from Roxana & Barb right from booking my appointments and providing reminders. Thanks for all that you do. Sandra Hayward
Excellent service. Much more in depth testing than other clinics I have been to. Lisa did a very professional job of evaluating my hearing los and fitting hearing aids.
Lisa was very friendly, knowledgeable and thorough. I am still in the "Demo" mode, and have been in to see her for an adjustment, (as I have very small ear canals). She was very patient and explained everything. Oh yeah, and I can Hear!:)
I have been going to the Audiology Clinic of Northern Alberta since 2003. Back then I researched hearing aids, and wanted Phonak. ACNA brought a set in for me, and I was very happy with them for my situation. I have since bought two more sets of Phonak hearing aids, and I am still happy with the service up to date, and the hearing aids. Remember service is very important as well as the hearing aids! Very recommended.
The clinic was recommended by a friend. This Clinic Staff are fully qualified, credentials hanging on the walls. Appointments are easy to make and, unlike physician appointments, they start on time or within a few minutes. I have been assisted by Lorena - very friendly and provides full explanation of everything she does and the options available.
After being recommended by a friend, I went to the Audiology Clinic of Northern Alberta several months ago to get custom ear plugs made (almost $500). My experience getting the moulds taken was pleasant, I remember the person who helped me out that day was very friendly and explained the mould-taking process throughout. My issue occurs later on when they were finished:
When I went to pick them up, I had a very short exchange with someone who explained that if the earplugs didn’t fit, I had a one month window in which I could return the earplugs for free. I specifically remember thinking that one month didn’t seem very long, and I didn’t receive any information on how to tell if I've received an ill-fitting custom earplug.
Due to the pandemic, I didn’t come into any situations that first month where I needed to wear them. In retrospect, I should’ve turned music on loudly in my room. A few months later I had been in a couple of situations where I had the opportunity to use them, and I realised that one of the earplugs definitely didn’t fit correctly (note: since then, I’ve concluded neither of them fit properly. Both air seals will break within one minute, one more drastically than the other. I believe this was because I was instructed to move my jaw while the mould settled. I did tell the person taking my moulds that, on occasion, I would be speaking while they were in, but now I wonder if that is a better practice for those getting hearing aids and not those who need an air tight fit for hours of use?).
I reached out to ACNA via email and asked them what it would cost to replace the earplugs, and I found out there was, in fact, a 3 month window that I could’ve exchanged these earplugs for free, which I no longer qualified for. I explained that I had only been told one month, and heard nothing back.
This is a situation where I would’ve appreciate discretionary assistance from the ACNA. If the manufacturing company can afford to exchange them for free for 3 months, I imagine they would’ve considered making an exception due to the miscommunication of the exchange period.
I would ask that the company spend some extra time with people purchasing custom earplugs to make sure they know what to look for right away in the case they don’t fit. This miscommunication ended up being very expensive for me (and a bit upsetting!) as I'll be needing to get both my ear moulds and earplugs redone.
I am a longtime client of ACNA and have experienced great service and friendly staff. They are excellent in understanding my audiology needs and give options for hearing health and support services/devices.
The staff at the Audiology Clinic were extremely helpful and very pleasant. I have never worn hearing aids and my audiologist, Ashley, was patient with the fittings and and made sure I fully understood the workings of the aids before I left. The ladies at the desk were equally pleasant and helpful because I have a company that was hard to reach and understand how much they would actually cover, but Roxana never gave up until it was clear.
I had a great experience - the audiologist was thorough and took the time to walk through every step of the process with me. The clinic is efficient and in a great location. There is free parking in the back, or street parking and everyone I encountered was incredibly nice. I will need to be tested in three years and they committed to contacting me at that time to remind me to book the appointment. Great service! Highly recommend.
The service is always excellent, Loriana takes the time to explain every detail and ensures that I am comfortable with my hearing aids. I'm very happy with the service I receive at the AB Clinic of Northern Alberta.
Top marks to Ashlea and the Audiology Clinic of Northern Alberta! Before arriving, I was quite apprehensive of getting hearing aids. On my arrival, the front staff was courteous and professional.
Ashlea, the audiologist, was fantastic and helped me overcome my apprehension. Ashlea was exceptionally patient and thorough. She answered all my questions and helped me choose the best hearing aids for me.
I have received my hearing aids and am very pleased with them. Walking out of the clinic I couldn't stop smiling as I heard the tiny birds chirping in the trees for the first time in years. I had forgotten how much I was missing in the world around me.
Thank you so much Ashlea for your excellent work!
I highly recommend this location for those searching for a great audiology clinic and a fantastic, friendly, and knowledgeable staff.
Empathetic, caring staff with endless patience. Much appreciated the use of the speech-to-text software to overcome comprehension difficulties caused by mask wearing.
Larena was the actual best. She went above and beyond to help me out dealing with tinnitus issues. She was extremely well versed in the management of this issue, and was always there to help me out when I needed it. 6/5 stars FOR SURE.
