I just love their window design. I have trouble reading books since my brain injury. But I practice on news stories.

I spent 2.5 hours here at the weekend browsing and talking to Sarah and Winston. They were amazing at helping me find books for my 12 year old and myself. This is hands down the best bookstore I've shopped at in Edmonton!

Always happy to support my local independent bookstore. The staff are great and always helpful. If they don't have what you need in stock just let them know and they'll find it for you.

I honestly was shook when I first entered the store. There’s endless selections from kids chapter books to psychology books. Additionally, the interior is comforting and the staff were super helpful too! This probably has to by my favourite book store in Edmonton!

Having worked my way thru 4 bookstores to afford university and bookshelves I am so glad there is still an independent local place to buy new books

I love #yegdt and how delightful that Audreys Books continues to serve us in Edmonton given that bookstores are rare with Amazon taking the market! Helpful and friendly staff with availability of chairs to sit and browse books. I plan to call and order a book as I support local book stores being a book worm who boycotts Amazon. Audreys is much appreciated and may it continue to serve #YEG in time to come!

A nice bookstore. I deducted one star because I wish they had more books I could checkout in person, and usually, you have to pay for parking if you're planning to stay more than 15 minutes.

Wished I could have stayed a little longer and spend a little more money. It's a lovely store.

Local downtown bookstore. Large selection. I just happened to drop by on a day there was a booksale on downstairs. I came unprepared with no bags. Luckily they have reusable bags for an affordable price.

I can't emphasize enough what a better experience this is than buying from larger chains and impersonal online retailers (who shall not be named) that undercut local businesses. Absolutely wonderful place to visit for book browsing and buying. The staff truly care about the world of books and are always so helpful. They've always had what I'm looking for, and are able to order in if need be.

I’ve bought books here before but strangely enough it’s a book I couldn’t get that’s prompting me to leave this 5-star review.

I requested a book that is a few years old, and despite it no longer being available Audrey’s took the time to look for a copy, checked with the publisher to learn the status of any reprints, and kept me informed throughout. It’s been a couple months and they still were attentive enough to contact me with the status.

It’s a treat to know places that care about their business and give personal service are still out there! Thank you.

A great selection of books for all ages. Owner, Steve, and the wonderfully knowledgeable staff have, through decades, happily suggested and recommended titles, and filled special orders for me. I especially appreciate their willingness to hunt for and bring in out-of-print titles. I would give them more than five if possible. Long live this indy bookstore!

I love this bookstore, it has a special place in my heart and I bet if you visit it yourself you will feel the same way. Walking in you instantly see shelves everywhere filled with books, used and new, and almost like a maze you can follow one shelf after another and see some really interesting finds. They have great staff support if you are looking for a particular book they can help you find it and get it ordered right to the store for you. The downstairs has a clearance book section, as well as a children’s book / toys/ craft section, along with puzzles and other cool things so it’s definitely not just a bookstore! I always find myself leaving with something, even if I told myself I was just popping in yo look around, I can’t help myself! A great place to check out as well if you’re into history of the city, as this is the oldest independently owned bookstore in Edmonton.

If you ever need to order a book, do it through Audrey's. They are experts in getting what you want so easily. 13 days between asking for it to be ordered in and getting it. Absolutely fantastic. Cannot recommend them enough, especially if you collect manga
