Have a running amvic complaint on going hoping they loose there auto sales license.

Bought a used car from Auto house sunridge, they made a fake mechcanic inspection for me to give to the registry, following day i had to take it to auto house repair centre due to the engine smoking within driving it for 30 mins after purchase, it then took the repair centre 2 months to replace my turbo under warrenty, just for me to get my car back with a smoking engine, returned it to the auto house repair centre, long story short took them over 5months to give me my car back, and it still has a check engine light on, and i am having to go pay put of pocket even though i have engine warrenty, they refuse to give me a refund and are very unprofessional, and just bad humans even talking to employees higher in the company, they have no commpassion about there customers struggles and just want to sell lemons and make money any way they can. I hope this helps someone avoid a 5+month headache / nightmare,

If there was a 0 star, I would choose that! Deleted my previous good review as im having a really bad experience with this dealership now. At the beginning the transaction was smooth and faisal gave us a good offer. When we brought home and drive the 2013 dodge grand caravan I noticed a turbo sound like (it was a leakage in the exhaust, I let it fix in an autoshop and spend $150). My husband and I only did a visual inspection without driving the car as the gas was almost empty even when we took it home. First night on the same day we took home the van it was honking at 11: 30pm (the alarm sensored that the tailgate was open). After 3 days, the alarm was on again randomly in the middle of the night, in the morning and in my work. We we're really stress! Went to faisal and tell him about the problem and asked him about the mechanical fitness assessment report that he never gave us (which as a dealer should give and discuss at every transaction). He then just referred me, to an autoshop which it didnt solved the problem. I was calling him several times for the amvic report but he always make an excuse or alibi saying he will email it to me but he never did. Faisal is so unprofessional! He would promise to send the amvic report but he never really care after selling the van. I didn't bother faisal anymore about the alarm in my van eventhough i went to dodge eastside dealership to replace the hood latch (cause of the random alarm) in my van and cost me $1,120. I only wanted that amvic report that he never gave or offered me. Calling them or going to their office is useless and waste of time. After selling he wont care! Even that $100 membership with free stuff to check the van that he sold to us was a scammed! I told him I would like to use that membership but he just said the shop is very busy they wont entertain us. Beware of this dealership, never buy car from them. Their so called certified mechanic dont inspect well or repair their used car before selling. I have 2 friends in line whom i was about to refer but not anymore. Very dissapointed of you Faisal, I thought you're a good man. I know you dont want to send the amvic report to me because you know about the alarm problem and would costs you. Very unprofessional, dishonest!

Faisal went beyond expectations to make sure everything was done right in getting a deal done for me on a new vehicle.

Update, 1 month after buying car:
- vehicle looked great on the outside and had a few minor issues at time of purchase that I didn't mind (some interior lights not working, no way to attach the license plate, etc). Initially Faisal assured me anything else would be all good and he would cover off some rust sanding, which he did.
- however, this first weekend of driving off the lot the vehicle started leaking coolant. When taking in to the auto shop, they advised me many components were very rusted underneath.
- after 1wk of driving, the engine became so loud it was difficult to drive, 4 different holes formed in the muffler system due to extensive rusting.
- in trying to check how much fluid had drained out, and checking other fluids, the dipstick for the transmission was completely rusted & seized into the transmission - it is clear it had not been properly checked in years.
- 3wks later, one of the sway bar links snapped/popped out of place and destroyed a sensor in the process, so now the 4x4 and traction control / vehicle stability assist functions don't work as they rely on that sensor.
- 3.5wks later, when getting my mechanic to put in a new sway bar, he noticed leaking from the power steering, rear shocks, and that the front struts urgently needed replacing too.

Update 6 months after driving, more issues:
- heater (climate control) only works on the passenger side of the car
- the under body has rusted through and gas tank strap has completely failed, leaving the tank hanging and a significant safety risk. Due to the holes in the body, the tank cannot be re-attached as it cannot be re-mounted.

I don't know who Auto House uses to 'inspect' their vehicles but to any prospective buyers, do not trust their reports and I would encourage to have your own mechanic look at any car you are considering buying from Faisal or this lot. I have owned my new car from Faisal for less than a month and with the additional required repairs it has already cost me almost 25% more in additional costs than the original price of the car, and it is quite clear due to the actual condition of the car I will have to continue to pay for repairs on items that's condition should have been transparently reported on.

I have continued to try and communicate these issues to Faisal but he has stopped responding to messages, and so at this point want to share my experience with others considering shopping here.

My husband and I arrived from Toronto and found Auto House Sunridge and Faisal provided us with the perfect vehicle to suit our needs right away and had it ready for us 2 days later. In the attempt to get good insurance quotation, we took more than a week in get the insurance paperwork, so Faisal very kindly kept our car in the lot waiting for us be ready to pick it up. Faisal answered all questions we had and look into everything we needed. When we were looking for car, we realized that Auto House Sunridge had the best prices in all Calgary. We bought a Volkswagen Jetta from this location and we love absolutely our car. We will definitely be recommending Faisal and Auto House Sunridge. Worst costumers service I ever seen and high prices compare to other dealer I was there to see some vehicle they don't help at all and it's very hard to check the cars they are park close to each other like sardines

Purchased a car from this dealership in August 2021. After a while i noticed the car has a huge issues in transmission, engine, drive shaft, electronics and so on, the list is 3 pages.
And well ofcourse you would not here such a things from salesman.
Also at the same purchased time, salesman (Faisal) sold me a warranty for the car. In that time he mentioned this warranty is "BUMPER TO BUMPER" and "COVERS EVERYTHING ". Guess what, that one was just absolute scam. Now that I have mechanical issues that warranty does not cover a penny and it was just another 3k expense on top of car price for absolute NOTHING.

It is very funny that my review posted 2 months ago got a respond and asked me to contact them for the situation. They really cares about customer service and satisfaction!

Came in person to look at a vehicle. Staff was passive aggressive and were not too friendly. Emailed 3 times to no real response. Just automatic messages at 5: 15am. Do not answer phone calls or call back. Poor customer service

SO RUDE! Talked to us like we were somber idiots who didn’t know anything. I’m not sure whether it was because we were women or they were just having a bad day. The guy seemed annoyed by our presence.
The cars seemed fine but I’m not doing business with disrespectful people.
I brought a friend and was so embarrassed by the way the man was talking to her.

Auto house Sunridge get me really good deal for my new vehicle if you are in market for buying used new car go see Faisal he is very honest and up front

I recently purchased a used vehicle from this dealer and wish I had been more diligent because they were not up front.
The vehicle had been rebuilt, which we asked what the rebuild was and were told "front end, passenger side accident"
I should have asked to see the carproof myself because after paying a non-refundable deposit and coming back two days later to get the car I was told it has actually been in 3 claims including a major front end accident. Due to the past claims, the hood does not fit the vehicle properly and shutters constantly at highway speeds.
I'm certain the dealer also let air out of the front tire for our test drive, in order to hide a slight wheel alignment issue.
I knew the vehicle would have been inspected and should have asked for a copy before the purchase even though it wasn't offered. The inspection listed a faulty air bag and additional work that was needed.
I take full responsibility for what I should have done differently but I really feel the dealership has an obligation to be up front and they were not only not up front but I feel like it was underhanded and sneaky, especially the low air scheme. Such a joke. Will not purchase another vehicle here or recommend this dealer, with the hood concern they shouldn't have even sold this vehicle.

Sadly, you can't give 0 stars. The manager is unprofessional and not reasonable. Went in to pay for deposit and asked that the manager create a contract saying that the deposit is refundable and not a partial payment as he stated verbally, but he declined. Argued and raised his voice when telling me that he refused to do a written agreement when asked why he would not create one he simply replied "cause I can't", especially if you read the circled picture below where it states verbal contracts are not a thing. What kind of business does not create contracts to protect both the business but also the customers, even though it says so in other parts of their policy. WARNING to anyone thinking of doing business here, don't get yourself scammed. Go to somewhere better.

Horrible customer service, when asked to give written agreement to a refundable deposit he said he can’t and when i asked why it cant be done he told me he doesn’t want to deal with this.

When i went to look at the vehicle the tires were so worn down that they weren’t road safe. When i brought up this concern and asked for new tires, which I was willing to have added to the price of the car, the sales person tried to tell me the tires were perfectly safe even though i could see that the tread was past the point of being safe to drive on. When i asked him why he was unwilling to add tires he started to raise his voice at me although i was perfectly calm.

The sales person also went on to tell me I was being “bossy” when i asked for a written agreement on the things that were being promised to me. The sales people at this establishment are extremely unprofessional and argumentative as well as childish. Do better if you want people to actually buy from you and don’t yell at potential customers.

Very rude customer service, didn’t reveal the options they had available and when I mentioned vehicles seen online he had me go on the website and gave attitude on what I was looking at, assumed we didn’t want certain cars and assumed we could not operate a manual vehicle (because we’re women? Young?). Shockingly rude

The worst place I’ve ever been, wish I could give zero stars. Sales person (not sure what their name was) was rude to me and my family. Kept on yelling, raising his voice and overall being extremely childish. Tried to give me a spoken agreement even though I read on the contract that no spoken agreements are allowed. When I asked for what he was promising me to be written down he started yelling and saying “I’m not going to run away with your money”. Overall a scam, don’t recommend anyone buy from them unless you want to get yelled at in front of everyone there when expressing concerns about the vehicle you’re trying to buy.

Stay away from this place I went there to see a vehicle the cars are jam-packed together like sardines the lot is so icy it's just a lawsuit waiting to happen the vehicle I wanted to test drive completely flat tire had to wait 40 minutes for the tire to be inflated not only that but he had to boost the car you drove it with the airbag light on still decided to go with the vehicle had to constantly call them to find out what updates are there's no communication between the salesperson and the customer so yeah I'll take my business elsewhere.

My wife and I went to view a car as we were super interested in a car they had on their lot, All the sales people just sat inside and stared at us. There weren't any other customers around, other than us. They had the option make a potential sale as we really liked the car, but no service equals no sale. I find that super funny, especially in the sales business. Unfortunately for them we won't be back.

Process was smooth and good the Mazda car i got is amazing. But the rearview mirror is cracked and they said they will cover the fees for it. Today, went back in to get the rearview mirror fixed as per discussion that i can come at 11am. However now, the mechanic won’t be here til 1: 30 or 2 and the time to get the mirror fixed will take up to an hour and a half. So i have to wait here until 4pm. I will be waiting here for 5 hours. Wish they could have told me beforehand so i dont have to wait too long lol. The lack of communication is wacked

This is the worst dealer I have ever been to. Customer service is none existing. The people there make you feel like they dont wanna sell vehicles at all, they just sit there the whole time and dont even bother to show you the car.

Faisal is an experienced person in his field of profession. Very easy to talk to, gave us a good deal with our car purchase 2014 Acura ILX.
