Can literally try so many different multicultural and international cuisines all in one spot! One of the best and most underrated food hall/farmers style market in Calgary! Love it here!

So many choices but I only have one mouth! Wife tried the Mexican place and I had the Bangkok street food both were very delicious. Will definitely need to come back again to explore some more!

Lo-key family run businesses. We ate from 4 different stalls and loved each one. Go and support a family business! I bought an excellent schnitzel torta sandwich made by a mother and son team and it was made with the love that only a mother can give. So yummy. Not fancy, and that makes it better. Don't support a corporate chain when you can support family business. Your conscience and tummy will thank you.

This place is awesome! So many options and so much culture and diversity. I had the crispy pork belly and cauliflower and it was soo good.

Amazing place to eat. Food made fresh and everyone can find what they want. Try the Nepalese momo dumplings or the Asian fusion soft tacos.

I cannot believe that I didn't know about this place sooner. It is my new favorite foodie hotspot! So many choices of different cultures and flavors and I love the atmosphere. I will definitely be returning again and again.

Lots of meal variety and places to chill with friends. I didn't eat but my friend had the Mexican food and loved it

Thus far, of the several international cuisines and fusions sampled (i.e. Peruvian, Czech, Italian, Filipino, South African) food are generally satisfactory. Evidently, this will be an evolving review as as there are a lot more interesting dishes to be tasted.

Lived in Calgary for many years, first time there. Great place, lots of selection. Much better than fast food franchises

Love Avenida Market. I love coming here for lunch, or just to pick up food or dessert from local vendors. Highly recommend!

I got ramen, and my partner got a southern fried chicken sandwich.

Ramen was 4/5, flavors were nice, and the portion size was huge. Pork belly kamikaze bowl.

Chicken sandwich 3/4, for $14, This should taste better than Popeyes and it does not. Fries that came with it were also asking in seasoning.

The cannolis 5/5. We got the blueberry lemon, score, and vanilla pistachio. They have a thick creamy filly and tasty crunch or exterior. The blueberry lemon and score were the best.

Cute little market, great place to come when people want to eat different things! Would be a cute date night.

Best Milk ever. My family loves milk. Their chocolate milk is more my style. This milk is my religion. It's on your right as soon as you go in through the main doors.

Great pizza, awesome home made face cream, shampoo/conditioner and more. Honestly has great bones for soup just disappointing poor produce vendor. Bought produce from them number of times and after 2-3 days produce is rotting when I talked to them about it they couldn't care less. Disappointing other produce vendors gone.

Bathroom seem well looked after and stocked. A multitude of places selling there items with lots of food options. I didn't try evry place but lots of great smells all around. Need gluten free options? A few places cater exclusively and several places have options with no added gluten. One place warned ️ local shops have gluten cooking and minor cross contamination may occur. Specialty shops are present for interesting options. If you are in the area check it out for a 10 mins or stay longer.

I had the pleasure of meeting a friend here tonight for dinner as she's never been here before. We toured the market before we stopped at a favourite kiosk of mine to dine; Sabor A Perú. Fabulous cuisine! In fact, the multicultural cuisine choices at Avenida are positively wonderful! Another fav is A Taste of India. I highly recommend this market!

Excellent place for authentic multinational cuisines. Tasty foods. Very nice area with ample parking. Very friendly atmosphere. Also available are fresh organic produce, dairy and meat products. We often visit this place.

This place needs more publicity. One of our families favorite places to eat. There are many high quality food options for every taste. Way better than a mall food court.

I Loved the taste of India. We had a non dairy made Chicken Curry and it was great. Thank you sir for opening my eyes to something different and reasonably priced.

Had a ton of fun here trying as much as my poor belly could hold. Will need to make return trips in the near future to sample several other offerings.

This place is THE BEST market in Calgary. I had some Mexican food, then I had cannolis, and then I had some take out ramen from the Ramen Shack. I URGE everyone to get down here to try everything. Literally everything. If you don't get a cannoli you're going to miss out HARDCORE.

Amazing vibe and culture! Great place for new people to Calgary to just come and hang out. Also amazing food, would highly recommend the Bigoli stall!

I really enjoyed coming to the Avenida Food Hall, its a great place to try out quality fast casual food with lots of variety. I think it's also a great place to bring your laptop or iPad and work for a couple of hours too. Parking wasn't too bad even during the busy weekend. Definitely recommend you check it out.

The name doesn’t lie, it’s very much focused on food here. The Veggie Platter ($15) from Teff N’ Greens was enough for a meal and some leftovers at home. I’m not a vegan but this dish was a delicious and fulfilling mix of flavours and textures. Get the spicy injera salad that’s offered for free on top! As it’s Ethiopian you rip off pieces of the injera base by hand to scoop up the meal.

Also had a delicious GF Lemon Bar from Miss P’s Gluten Free (under $4!), and brought home some snacks from the Mercantile.

Meztizo is the place to eat. As a Mexican I could not recommend better tacos in Calgary. Great flavors, lots of options and specially the salsas, they are homemade and to die for (Try the one called Morita). The market has an amazing ambient and a wide selection. So happy to have something like this in Calgary.

Certainly a growing centre with many great food options. Parking is and will only become worse of an issue as this place expands. Try going here on a Saturday or Sunday morning and it is so hard to find a spot to park. Makes a problem for the whole area. With the CT station so close and some other businesses they are going to have to figure out a solution

Blown away by this busy place. Deceiving how large the market it is and we stumbled upon couple vendors we used to visit years ago at old farmers markets. Grabbed a few delish foods!

I have very mixed feelings about this place. There are some great food vendors, but the majority only offer either upsized, very fully priced dishes, or similar items to the other markets, but more expensive (or as expensive but for a much smaller size). Value is definitely not there. The venue is as basic as possible. There is no real food market.

Been missing the Market on Macleod, and the Avenida Food Hall is definitely a good subsitute! Lots of different dining options, but it seems like it leans more towards a food hall than a farmers market. Only wish is that they had a few more affordable vendors to buy produce and meat etc.

Avenida Food Hall & Market is a great place to come for a meal, grab some groceries or just stop in for a coffee or dessert. There is a wide selection of cuisines so there will be something for every taste. Take home some fresh produce, meats and baking. I will definitely be a repeat customer. It can easily be a 5 star market once it's completely full.

Was so excited that we got a market a little further South in Calgary! Smaller than other markets but despite that they offer a ton of variety. We sampled a few different cuisines - Indonesian, Korean, and Salvadoran. Will be coming back to go on the rest of our culinary trip around the world.
Need to single out Takori because I fell in love with their Korean Tacos! They're right by the main entrance, can't miss 'em. Try the sampler of all 3 flavors - Beef Bulgogi, Pork Belly with Kimchi, and KFC (Korean Fried Chicken).

Some great stalls and food. Been here a few times, but had a bad experience at the Ramen shop: waited 45 minutes for my food, and they got ingredients wrong anyways! If there is a young Asian cook working, it's great, but if you see an obese male as the cook go somewhere else.

Just went to the Avenida food hall and ate at @teffnhreens and had an awesome lunch. They have a great Ethiopian cuisine menu and some great vegan and gluten free options. The owners were amazing in helping make the right amount of spicy for my wife and not so spicy for me. Great job

Great concept. A little of everything! I only shopped for produce at one of the kiosks but I will definitely be back to eat as they have a huge selection of food options!

Great concept! It's a nice, clean, modern market with a decent amount of food vendors. The vendors were friendly and helpful. I liked how I was able to sample a variety of foods before deciding what to purchase. There are a lot of Asian/Asian fusion or Latin American food vendors. I was hoping for more variety and cheaper prices. Not worth the drive from North Calgary. However, I would recommend a cannolis from Holy Cannoli Coffee.

A interesting place for sure, might take a couple of visits to take it all in but hey nice problem.
Lots of food from all over the world available here in a bright friendly atmosphere.
We tried the Bigoli pasta place, Mestizo mexican, Patisserie bakery and did some shopping for fresh veg and got some mountain rhino donuts.
All in all highly recommended fun place.

Love this Collaboration of Shops! A little bit of everything, and the BEST GLUTEN FREE in the City! Check out Mrs. Ps Gluten Free. You'll love her for bread, lasagna noodles, and sweets

Lot's of worldfood mashup's to eat your way through. Nice to have a place like this in the south of Calgary. Will be checking it out again soon.

Great food. Lots of variety. The only complaint I have is that there's not enough seating. We had to circle the entire place 3 times to finally get table that was shared with a 2 other people.

It's so great! Beautiful, clean, and bright. Mostly food vendors with a few gift options (e.g. Handmade wooden gifts, beeswax food wrap). There is a large kids' area. Some of the Food vendors have very questionable food handling standards, and not all the produce is local - so pay attention for that. Great place to bring your kids or go for a quick bite.

Very Small over priced portions in the 3 places we tried; some of the other spots looked like they had better sized portions though. Finding a place to sit and/or park is difficult as well.

This is a great new take on the same old food court idea. Lots of independent food vendors with a huge variety of food types and dietary options.

Really happy that this is in the south! The selection/ variety is amazing. So many things to try. Seating needs to be improved for the weekend rush though - not enough tables.

Something for everyone! Almost every ethnicity of food you can think of plus fresh produce and something sweet for dessert. Would definitely recommend!

The newly opened farmer's market near heritage is super cool and unique. There's new vendors, and the space is just the right size! We enjoyed the arepa bowls from arepas ranch, as well as the tequeños from Latin food specialties. There's still some empty booths however, and it seems that construction is not yet finished.but overall it was a pleasant way to spend a Saturday
