Avenue Living - Camrose Office

Living with this company was a very poor experience. The staff was not very friendly, and would charge you for mistakes they made. The apartments were overpriced for the space you were getting, and there were many problems within the apartments themselves that the maintenance teams never properly fixed. Would not recommend going with this company to anyone.

Words cannot describe the amazing welcome I received. Rhonda has been absolutely amazing to me and my two littles after desperately looking for a place in Calgary. The love and support for Rhonda and everyone who helped me today was absolutely beautiful and I am forever in your debt. Thank you

Very poor service. They use a call center in india and I dont think they have any security. Old buildings and over priced. Extra for parking. Further more no building in camrose has a valid address and are unserviceable to the RCMP, the local cops arnt much help. They dont provide insurance, and you have to get it independently via a very suspect docusign application. Lisa told me she get first and last month free. Then she quit and moved back to the states.

The buildings are kept clean, all problems are fixed fast and efficiently landlord's are lovely

I have Nothing but good things to say about Avenue living, they are kind and get things done and fixed right away. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a place to try Avenue living.

Overpriced. Lack of personal freedom. Nosey, aggressive tenants constantly complaining and making trouble. Wayyy too expensive for what you get as well as buildings are broken into regularly.

I absolutely love working with Avenue living, and they have great buildings and keep great maintenance. I honestly wish I could give more then 5 stars

I lived at 6003 48B ave for a year. For many reasons I can't say I was very pleased with the experience. My rent was overcharged 1 month and after me texting / calling for a few weeks and requesting a cheque (from the main Avenue Living number as I wasn't getting anywhere with my landlord in Camrose), I was told "we'll take the money off you next month's rent. " If I'm late paying rent for just 1 day there are charges, but them owing me money? No big deal. That was quite unprofessional.

I had to call maintenance often to attend to my unit. They were usually pretty quick and attentive, but it gets frustrating having to call them so often. Oh and they replaced my broken fridge with a used fridge which was not cleaned out, then took a bit of money off my damage deposit for a few crumbs in a vegetable container! I have pictures of this. Also, the outside of the building was never maintained well. Cigarettes everywhere and garbage would often appear on my patio. Even when I moved in there was garbage on the patio, and it was clearly never cleaned in a long time. Even other tenants in the building noticed this and said I should call to make the company clean it, which I wish I did.

If you do rent one of their units, I HIGHLY recommend an air purifier. I have an expensive purifier that gives feedback of how the air quality is. It was not uncommon for it to run red, meaning the worst air quality.

Worst of all. CREAKY FLOORS! I understand this is an old building, but I never knew apartments could sound like living in a cabin of an old wooden ship. Sleeping with earplugs gets very old very fast.

I honestly cannot recommend this apartment / company to anyone. I will never rent from them again.

Never ever had this homely welcome, Specially Rhonda was so amazing, she gave me a prompt appointment to view the places and so professional infact so passionate about her work that she had a really God gifted patiences to show us the property until we were convinced and she was happily and willingly giving her valuable time to strangers like us who were out to visit and see another property, but she is a trend setter for the customer service she showed us everything that was in our reach financially and she just didn't sell us something but the rappo she created was awesome and never ever we will forget it, me and my family felt that we are not renting the apartment but our family is welcoming us to stay and live with them, she deserves the best and hope management will recognize her for her passion and dedication towards her work. Hats off to her dedication, And any where in Canada who will look to rent I will definetly recommend Avenue Living.

I lived in one of their apartments for 2 years while going to Augustana. The staff are super helpful, friendly and easy to deal with. One of the best experiences I've had with renting.

Avenue Camrose is probably about as human as a rental company can be. The crews work tirelessly year round to help the tenants, and the quality of properties has greatly improved over the last few years. Rhonda and Lisa and the office folk work hard even during rough times to accommodate tenants, including travelling to multiple buildings in a snow storm. The technicians are some of the friendliest people to be around, and do some great work with upkeep on the properties. I'd even recommend them for a first time rental experience, as they treated me fairly and were helpful throughout the whole process of moving in for the first time.

Avenue Living here in Camrose has been the best rental experience I have had in 50 years. The people working within this organisation actually care about their tenants. The best there is bar none This is home.

I’m new to Avenue Living (as an employee). I have learned a lot in the short time I have been there. Rhonda and the crew are passionate about keeping the residents happy, safe and to make sure they understand they are our number one priority.

Never in my life have I had a Residence Manager go above and beyond the way Lisa has. Few weeks of awaiting some renovations to be completed, and rather than leave my family waiting elsewhere - some extraordinary circumstances were made and Lisa (and superior; Rhonda) ensured we were housed temporarily in a vacant suite, and had Avenue Living MOVE us from that suite to our new one. So we didn't have to move twice. I am floored. And immensely grateful. Way Above and Beyond the Call of Duty. Thank you all so incredibly much for accommodating us the way you have. We are looking forward to our beautifully renovated home!

Avenue Living is THE worst landlord in existence. They came into town about 5 years ago bought up a ton of rental property and jacked up rents so that it drove many people including myself out of their homes. They don't do repairs. You are only a number to them. AVOID RENTING FROM THEM AT ALL COSTS!

My landlord came through for me today and was very kind over some damage that occurred to some of my belongings. It was of no fault of the building or staff but of some of the equipment in the building. Thank you very much Rhonda and staff

I just want to say thanks to Avenue living for the awesome service. I am having a great axperience renting from Avenue. They have always delt with issues with our building. Our side walks are always shoveld. When things need to be fixed. Its always been good and quick work. Never a problem when emergency fixing needs to be done after hrs. Rohnda and Lisa are very polite and straight forward with everything. Very happy with my choice of rentle

I have had nothing but problems since new people came here to work. They or she makes me feel like I am beneath her, they or should I say she stands outside my window for a smoke when I get company. They charged me to much for security deposit and will not give the difference back. They threatened to evict me if I didn't get two million dollar rental insurance. They do not know how to treat people. They have their own little corner where certain renters and management go to smoke and talk about other renters, otherwise ok I guess.

I am writing this review because i have been living in my apartment for almost seven years now.i feel i can honestly comment on the Grand Park Village, Mirror Lake Apartments. I could live any where in Camrose but i choose to live hear. I enjoy being less than one block to the lake and walking trails. Beautiful tree surround me, deer often visit right out side my door, wild birds sing their hearts out and rabbits often run by my place. The four apartment buildings fit right in with their rustic brick and ceder shakes. In side my apartment it has been totally re done so it is just like new. I have had some minor things that needed to be fixed. When i phone in my request to the Calgary office of Avenue Living the people are very courteous and concerned about my call, my request is relayed immediately to some one who will attend to my needs. The maintenance people are quick to respond and fix the issue, i have never had to wait more than 24 hours for service.the maintenance people are courteous, competent and quick to repair what ever my needs are. The maintenance people do a excellent job cutting grass, removing snow and keeping the place inside and outside very clean. The parking lot is in need of repair and i know they are working on it as well. There is a excellent level of clientele that lives here and we are much like a small community of like minded individuals. This apartment is family, child and pet friendly. There are enough good rules to keep the apartments operating well. The rent is very reasonable. The best part is, our fantastic property Manager, Ronda, she does a above average job in the services she provides and tries to get to know all the residents living in the four apartments, I would not consider moving and would highly recommend these apartments as a good place to live and a place you will soon call home, Give Ronda a call, you will not be sorry you did. I've been a resident at the VIKING for 3.5 years. During that time I have made various service requests (leaking faucets, clogged drains, etc.) and have enjoyed prompt and professional response usually within 24 hours. I have nothing but applause for Rhonda at the rental office and my interactions with the Calgary Head Office on any request has been cordial and professional. I would recommend an Avenue Living rental to anyone seeking a new home who chooses to rent as opposed to taking on major debt.
