Wow just amazing places. Definitely on my list for purchase in the near future

Before I explain why I gave a low review rating, I do want to state that Averton's Sales team and representatives that have entered my house have been great. In addition, the building/unit itself is gorgeous. Sadly, this quality ends here. Averton’s customer service and management has been unacceptable. Guarantees, written on the contact which I signed, have not been fulfilled and professionalism is lacking.
For example, I purchased my house one year ago (November 2019) and was guaranteed two “Trades Days” to correct any faults that were encountered. One Trades Day was arranged for six month while the second was for 11 months. It is now December 2020 and I am yet to have a completed Trades Day. I was informed by the customer service representative that my original Trades Day would be combined with my second Trades Day. I never received an explanation as to why this was even though two days were included in my contract.
In Oct 2020 my first Trades Day commenced. It was my understanding that this would be completed within one day. I took the time off work so that I could be home. Less than half the trades personnel required arrived that day due to booking mistakes and scheduling errors. Following this I was required to reschedule for certain trades personally. It was my understanding that Averton would book them yet I found myself calling the individual trades. Once the new dates were set I took additional time off work. On two separate occasions the bookings I had were cancelled on the day of. Not only have the repairs not been done in my house, but I used all of my personal business days for work and I have lost financially due to Averton’s lack of customer service.
Currently, my house of one year has unfinished drywall and various labels on the walls. This has been the state of my house for four months. I have inquired with Averton’s customer service on the status of my prolonged Trades Day yet there has been minimal response.
There are other examples to support this review, such as the units backyards not being completed. This was guaranteed to be done last summer yet they are incomplete. After talking to neighbors, I have learned that it has been over two years with no change.
In closing, I would not recommend Averton to a new home owner. They lack the ability to provide the service they guarantee. Once again, they have amazing qualities such as the sales team and maintenance representatives that enter your house but the customer services has been unacceptable.

Our experience with Averton in Edmonton is phenomenal. Their attention to detail and design is not matched in the City. Our dealings with Averton on a trade perspective is always with courtesy and respect.
I would strongly recommend considering Averton for your next home purchase.
