Staff here is super slow and unfriendly. We were the only ones in the Drive-Thru and there were three teenagers standing just chit-chatting and took forever to get our food. Their demeanor was not cordial at all.

They had one woman cooking and 5 people who 'aren't old enough to work in the kitchen'. It took forever. 5 kids standing around doing nothing who can only take orders while 1 person cooks for the lines of customers. Is that why it's about $20 for 2 hamburgers these days?

Shout out to mark absolutely amazing worker and one of the best managers I've ever seen.

This is the best a&w ever not because of a&w because of mark the manager. He is the most amazing manager I've ever seen.honest-to-God. He should be getting paid ninety dollars an hour minimum for is amazing work

Terrible service people eating peppers in the back they didn’t even get my order right they were just joking around the whole time doing no work

The ginger/blonde guy at the window was so rude, seems like he feels above the Job. This location is my least favorite, especially the customer service.

Very hot onion rings and delicious burger. I get my burgers lettuce wrapped and some locations use to little or to much, this location was just right

Try to change our order to a combo (and order more food). The manager interrupted us, severely reprimanded us, and was very rude so cancelled order and now we're going to McDonald's.

Often visits this branch but after tonight experience with the crew. It was pretty bad. Restaurant was not busy and there are more than 5 staff just standing yet but cannot give Our order properly. The time I asked about the missing order instead of apologizing, they complained. Needs more customer service training. Lack of knowledge about uses of A&W coupons.

Just came home from picking up food from there. Drive threw didn’t explain to tell me there was 2 different kinds of uncle burger. I was expecting bacon and cheese instead just a plain burger. I’m not happy with this service! If I wanted a plain burger I would ask for it! Needless to say I will not go to that location again as dew from today and the past they mess up on my order.

Guy who took the order was rude to my wife after a request was made for lettuce wrapped, no cheese (lactose intolerant). They put cheese on it. Didn't give any napkins. Not a good experience.

Old, cold and stale fries were given along with cold chicken strips. Called to address the matter, manager needs some work on customer service.
I’ve had to request fresh fries and chicken before as this has happened before. I missed requesting it this time, but shouldn’t have to request for fresh food.

The food was okay, not as good as other locations. But what really deterred me from returning to this location is the last 2 visits where a girl, maybe she's a manager, was yelling at the other 2 employees. Same lady both times just yelling at her 2 coworkers while looking at the cell phone in her hands. I don't want to consume food produced by people who are busy having some sort of conflict, it doesn't seem like an environment that can produce careful, healthy food.

The customer service is not good every time we bought here.the manager said in this location the uncle burger has a two different kinds the regular uncle burger and uncle burger has a cheese and bacon on it, if we want a regular burger we are not buying uncle burger

Ordered breakfast through Skip from this location Saturday June 18th. They called me and said they don't have any bread to fulfill the order. Instead of the employees doing due diligence and cancelling the order, I had to cancel the order myself. Just to check, I went back to Skip an hour later and their menu still said they had bread. Funny, ain't it? This place is terrible from franchise owner down to employee. There are 8 or more other A&W locations in Red Deer that will ALL give you a better experience than this place is capable of. With inflation the way it is, don't give your hard earned money to this business.

This specific location has never correctly bagged an order. Something has always been missing or wrong. We’ve ordered through skip and they’ve forgotten drinks. We’ve gone through the drive through and received uncooked sweet potato fries. We’ve gone inside and they’ve missed adding fries to the combo. Whoever is running this location needs to step up because this is unacceptable. Take your business elsewhere.

Most people are stressing about their bad experience but honestly the staff and food here is very good!

SLOWWWWWWWWEST drive thru. Man be prepared to wait 25 minutes when there only 3 cars.

If you want an 80% chance they will ignore your request of no mayo or easy sauce then this place is for you. Every time we grab take out and forget to check the order it’s wrong. My bad, I’ll sit for 2 or 3 minutes in the drive through and check every order so I don’t have to throw my food out or drive back.

So slow. They had me pull forward and then proceeded to serve 3 vehicles before me and my order wasn't even big.

Slowest A&W in town. Been here half a dozen times and it’s painfully slow. Other 3 locations are super fast always, I was excited to get one closer to home but it would take half the time to go three times the distance away

It took 5 minutes for the drive through to even answer the intercom. Then we waited in the parking lot for 20 minutes to get our food. All our fries were cold upon receiving them and the lettuce on my burger was brown. It takes alot for me to leave a bad review but this place disappointed me

I was there the other day, food was good, the girl at the window was very polite and great to deal with, however they got our order wrong and by the time we found out it was not worth going back.

I do enjoy the food but really wish I could get some utensils, butter, and syrup for my pancakes. It is a bit of a venture but the other stores have always given everything I need to have a proper breakfast. My order is quite a pain to have to change around, but for $21 I don't share the need to rob a gent of his positive morning experience.

Literally always a long wait here at any time of the day. Most times when the only person in the drive through, and the parking lot is empty. How is it so slow? I don't understand

My chicken sandwich had just about an 1/8th of a head of lettuce on it. Uncut. My wife's too. It wasn't even during a rush or anything. I feel like if the owner of this place wants it to stay open, he's gotta start doing some quality control.

It took more than 30 minutes for these guys to prepare 3 items just a simple order at the drive through, what a waste of time. Come on staff.get up to the speed.

I've had 4/4 for bad experiences or straight up mistakes on simple orders here.

Every time it happens I wait a few weeks and give it another shot because I live nearby and I really like A&W. And every time something happens that reminds me why I waited so long to try again.

In no particular order, I've had:
-To wait over 30 minutes stuck in the lineup and then an additional 10 minutes in the parking lot with only 4 vehicles ahead of me.
-I've waited for over 15 minutes at the window watching the employee slowly putting lids on the drinks for what I assume was the huge lineup behind me while I was only waiting on 1 momma burger. Not even acknowledging the wait time or helping out the cook who is obviously struggling to fill orders.
- asked for a diet coke, and then confirmed again that I wanted a diet coke. Received root beer.
-waiting in the parking lot for my order and receiving it only to find that the food was all cold. What was I even waiting on? Chicken wrap was cold and torn up with the sauce all over the bag.

I usually only put the effort into writing positive reviews where I want to share a good experience with those on the fence about visiting a location. But I guess this is more of a warning. Unless this place makes a drastic change.there's an A&W down 67th Street that is worth the 5 minute drive.

Been coming here since opening, and to be honest everytime something is missed in our order.and having to wait 20 mins for the missed item is a huge inconvenience for a fast food restaurant while our food gets cold.

Way too expensive. $7 for just a burger. Not even a double burger. Plus the wait times are terrible. Takes an average of 15 minutes to get food in the drive through. And that's if no ones in front of you just ridiculous

A and W charged me 18 dollars. Skip the dishes charged me 30. Apparently this restaurant put their prices into skip incorrectly. So do NOT order from here. Skip will not give you a refund.

Ordered just one burger in the drive through over 10 minutes ago and I am still sitting here waiting for it. Disappointing.

Was great service up until today 9 Dec 2020. Waited 16 minutes at the counter after I ordered. No napkins cannot understand the big young white guy behind counter. He mumbles through the damned mask.

Wish zero stars were available.been there twice they forgot burger the first time and 2 fries the second time.new or not double check people! If you can't read maybe a diffrent job is in order!

You would think that during lockdown the drive thru would be efficient. Sadly not. It was painfully slow and disorganized. Was the food worth the wait? Absolutely not!
