Excellent service, the food was very fresh and the place was spotless. This is the best A & W I have ever visited

My order is almost never correct and sometimes it has to be sent back a second time, i only go for breakfast which is a simple sausage and egger on english muffin, so very easy to make and today was no different except my coffee was a little over half full. Staff are very quiet. Almost never get a hello and about half the time i will get an apology with the errors. This place was.more convenient as it's closer to my commute to work but I'm better off driving an extra 5 minutes to go elsewhere vs waiting 10 in the drive through or having to turn around amd come back.

I'm very impressed with the staff, as they are very prompt and efficient with orders. The food was great! However, the parking isn't the best. I was very impressed with the new direct routing for dine-in customers to leave their trays to the kitchen staff after dining. It's economical and helps the staff during busy hours. As someone who used to work in food service it's an A + for sure. The sinks for washing hands in the same area for those of us who like to before a meal is also a huge bonus. It's better than waiting for a washroom and dealing with not so pleasant before meal situations from other customers. I am, however somewhat weary of the washroom set up. I loved the separate washrooms with the vacant/non vacant locks, but- the sinks were a bummer. It has a state of the art foam soap system which worked well, and the sensor for water on the tap.but the T shaped end of the faucet was equipped with state of the art dyson air dryers on the 2 sides of the T shape. When I was done rinsing my hands and used the air dryers- all of the remaining soap suds in the sink basin flew all over myself, the walls, counter and mirror. My friend laughed at me when I got back to our table as I had not noticed/wiped away some suds before returning to our table. This I'm mentioning not just in consideration for customers, but also the staff-who unfortunately have to upkeep the area. It's for sure 5 star service, but I'm giving a 4 because of parking and the washroom mishap.

This place is improving a bit everything I go there. I like thier neat and tasty burgers, and rootbeer.

A more modern building but missing the homestyle retro feeling A&W was known for.
Still uses "coups, " coupons for the All Canadian Breakfast for an exceptional value. Though I miss the old style restaurants over the new decor, it still offers great food and value.

It seems to be hit and miss with a&w the last few months, mostly miss lately. I don’t know, just not so good, I know it’s fast food but still.

Double mozza meat was pink. I forgot to take a pic because I was hungry and ate it too fast.

The size of the bacon slices everytime we go seems like they are getting smaller and smaller and paying the same price or more for less.
A&W stop being cheap.

The breakfast here used to be unbeatable, it was excellent food, reasonably priced and cooked to your order. Unfortunately this is no longer the case. A buddy and I were in for breakfast this morning and it was unbelievably bad. Ordered the classic breakfast: 2x eggs, 2x slices of toast and 3x strips of bacon. The toast was drier than the Sahara Desert, the eggs ordered over easy were at a minimum over hard and closer to boiled with absolutely no yolk uncooked. I asked (while ordering) 3x to add sausage links to the order and received sausage links replacing the bacon. I don't know who would ever interpret the word add as substitute, but the surprises just keep coming if you risk ordering food at A&W in Cold Lake.

The lady that I asked to go over my bill with me (different from our server) and explain why there was no bacon got to the root of the problem quickly and professionally and then proceeded to ring me up for $6 more to get 6 strips of bacon, 3 for my order and 3 for my buddy's order.

With the price of 'fast food' going as high as it is nowadays a person is better off to go to the Lakeland or Humpty's and have an actual restaurant cooked meal. I'm not sure if it's cheaper or how much more expensive it is, but next time I am in the mood for a dine-in experience and breakfast it WILL NOT be at A&W.

I wish I could post otherwise, as I like to leave good reviews to reward excellence, but this breakfast today was so bad I wouldn't want my worst enemy spending their dollars there and receiving a similarly terrible meal.

I might add that it was not at all busy while we were there, no line-ups, other customers already had their food and were seated when we ordered.

Do better, A&W you've fallen a long ways in quality and service since the good old days of being the best drive in burger joint a fella could go to.

I love it but there's too much bacon and mayo on things I don't eat either but the food is still very good the beef tastes amazing

The food is always good, my favorite is the gravy for the fries. The new burger varieties are a hit with my wife. The new store lay doesn't impress me, I find it rather cold and impersonal. The staff is great. Thanks

The lettuce wrap is a awesome option but when you add sauce it just makes a mess and is basically a salad in a paper wrapper. Mabe serve the lettuce wraps in a box of some kind so if it falls apart I can use a fork.
