Food was ok, fries soggy with grease. Staff were snippy, not enjoyable, however not the worst experience. The bathroom hot water taps were scalding, to the point my finger blistered. The tables were all dirty, bags of garbag laying around, the outside had garbage over flowing and I'm the parking lot, dead plants in pots, just a mess. To top it off, we observed three males shooting up drugs beside our car in the parking lot. Improvements need to be made to utilize the awesome location and scenery.

Staff efficient, friendly and very accommodating. Facility suoer clean. Food was great. Only downfall that we found was they did not serve Decaf coffee.

Wow. During our vacation in Canada we discovered the A&W chain, whose quality and taste clearly stand out from the fast food chains in Europe.

Food was hot and fresh. Place was clean and warm. Staff were friendly and patient, especially when taking our order with two hungry kids. It was nice to get a quick and cheap lunch

The employees are absolute sweethearts! I brought in my own thermo cup and asked for a large coffee, the guy at the counter just smiled and charged me a small:)

Teen burger wins over any fast food burger. Plus the servers voku tested that refills are free. Well done!

Have to say that the A&W in Canmore was the worst I have ever eaten.

Onion rings had no seasoning, the burgers were dry and crumbled with little to no flavor in the meat. We ordered no cheese on my daughters burger and got cheese.

Not worth the $40 we spent there for 2 kids meals, a mozza burger and double teen combo.

You will experience your typical A&W atmosphere at this location. Great friendly staff that are quick and precise. Gets extremely busy in the morning for breakfast so if you are in a hurry go to the drive thru not inside. They have recently changed their coffee beans and it is 100% better, I enjoy it over Timmy's and McDonald's at this point.

A&W is a Canadian-owned company. It's #1 fast food in Canada, so we have to try it once. Full disclosure - I'm not a big fan of fast food chains. There is a drive-thru at this location. We decided to go inside to order and take our time looking at the menu. It's your typical fast food with burgers, fries, sides and sugary sodas. I think the root beer float or slushy is their popular item. It was super sweet as I had expected. We all had the "Uncle" with bacon, lettuce, tomato and cheese. The beef patty was juicy but lacking sauce. The fixings were soggy by the time we got back to the house, which was only 5 minutes drive. The sweet potatoes fries was the best out of all with chipotle mayo on the side. The onion rings was too doughy and fell apart as soon as you take a bite. I wish I had taken photos of the food.

Poor service especially the lady attendant was swearing because we have lots of crumbs on the floor that she needs to clean after.

Soggy yam fries ruined our meal unfortunately, it was a big disappointment when you are waiting for a nice treat after a hike.the service is great tho.

The food is total garbage. This was my first visit. The burger was dry and old. The staff horrible and rude. I asked for Mayonnaise and the gentleman told me they didn't give it out. I had to ask before ordering. They charge for it apparently. This was my first visit and poor impression with no smiles staff!

The frozen coffee sweet cream is my new summer fave! Can't go wrong with a teen burger.

Just fresh and love them frozen mugs for the root beer. Place was kept clean and the order was served to us at the table.

Used to enjoy the odd burger from A&W but lately quality of food has gone down not just locally but at out-of-town locations. Sloppily put together burgers, poorly cooked onion rings, order mistakes. Done.

The place is good, but the service people were mean. I visited the store for the first time so I was looking at menu and they were not even waiting for me to look at it and they just wanted me to order. They were very rude and not friendly at all.

We were disappointed that they didn't have actual root beer floats! (Why?) But the staff went above and beyond when my only form of payment didn't work (we were visiting from out of the country). I came back a little later to pay them back and order more things.

Food was cold and not good. My onion rings were old my bfs were fresh and hot not to impressed

A&W is usually a go to late night fast food venue but in this case it was very clear the food had been sitting for a long time and the staff failed to make fresh food when it was needed. Burger was very dry and gritty, chicken wraps were also dry and pathetically topped, almost no lettuce or sauce. It's clear the staff have no consistency or care. I'll go to A&W in a pinch for some late night eats at other locations but will make sure to steer clear of this location in the future. If you are looking for fresh fast food go to McDonalds.
