I stepped into this location last week. Food okay and staff too few. The tables were not cleaned and the bathroom was horrid. The toilet paper roll was laying sideways on the floor, the urinal was a mess as well. The wall was covered in some dark streaks all over. Especially under the hand dryer. Their head office needs to check the locations and keep quality in check. Id give it two or three stars but their mens room always pulls them down at this location.

Pretty convenient location on Whyte Ave. The drive-thru is open 24 hours, so it's one of the few places in the area to get food at any time.

I stopped in briefly to use the washroom well I was waiting to catch the bus downtown the staff member was very rude to me. I even offered to leave my bags at the front to try and address any unanswered concerns.
She immediately locked the bathroom door. Told me I had to make a purchase to be able to use the washroom. This is not what A&W advertises themselves as. They are supposed to be a family. What kind of family refuses to allow there loyal customers to use the washroom? Very dissatisfied with my interaction with this employee.

Update: the manager came out and rectified the issue immediately once she was made aware of the situation adding a star back

I usually go here after work. Tonight I got a rancid old cold burger that made me feel sick after two bites i thru it out. It also came over loaded with old caramelized onions which I can’t eat. Zero stars.

I am vegetarian, ordered 2 beyond burgers. They were both beef, which is pretty messed up. But not only were they beef, they smelled like beef that is going off. So now I ate meat when I didn't want to, and to top it off I might get sick for eating beef that was undercooked and going bad.

Seriously, this is kind of messed up.

Pretty Swell Place! Always got Nice Burgers and Drinks, also Diet Rootbeer? Easy Win for Me! There Frozen Rootbeer is Awesome! Pricey, but a Good Price for Great Food Items!

Delicious food. Healthy. Root beer sucks but maybe I just don’t like root beer. Great service every time I go and I’m very picky about customer service. Quite pleasant no matter what area of the city you’re in.

This was a fast order to be completed, faster than I would've expected. I found the burgers and wrap to be tasty, albeit the wrap was not very full of food and was not the standard I'd expect.

The sweet potato fries I ordered did not get cooked fully which was a little disappointing and the poutine my brother ordered didn't come with cutlery for some reason.

Pretty solid still for the speed

They did an amazing job at selling me a 25 dollar gift card. Free teen burger with the gift card purchase was pretty good too.

Burger tasted off. I went to talk to them about an exchange but the manager just said I could buy a new one. Terrible service.

One of the worst A&W in the city. Went earlier in the week and they argued with my girlfriend over a new item on the menu, telling her to look at the menu when it was the employee who didn't know their own menu, rude and never apologized. No air conditioning it's insanely hot in there and I felt like I was going to get heat stroke waiting for some frozen root beers which I never got because their machine wasn't working, I appreciate the root beer they gave me on the house but it wasn't worth it when I almost passed out waiting for them to give up on trying to get the machine working. Food was mediocre and tasted like it was sitting in a tray for a long time before serving both times. Fries were inedible and stale

All that you expect from a good fast-food burger: good tasty and slightly unhealthy food. A good call for a quick fix during a busy day or to treat yourself before going out for a trip. Fast drive through service.

Terrible and horrible place. Poor packaging and totally unprofessional staff. Excuse like I am not the boss doesn't go.every other location is sealing drinks and packing everything in sealed bags only this location is delivering drinks even without cup holders. Seriously? If I was the boss I would really sit and think twice what needs to he change there.

Food is nice & hot whenever we buy however every time we order on drive thru, staffs are always giving attitude towards us like they’re unhappy to serve us.

Absolutely love the burgers when u on the go hits the spot and no added hormones all canadian beef 1 of the best drive through when you on the run

A&W is perfect for when you're craving a normal burger at a good price. Never too greasy and food is always prepared right the first time. This is the only fast food chain in edmonton the carries sweet potato fries

Mill Creek Cafe.great little Neighbourhood Cafe. Licensed. Open 7 days a week. Dine in, take out and take home frozen to cook. My favorites Turkey Pot Pie, Latke's and Chicken Biryani. Great soups and bread. Key Lime Pie.yummie!

The staff were amazing, they actually gave me options and the guests in the store were friendly. I truly enjoyed my time

They take fast food seriously, I’ve never had to wait more than 5 minutes for my order, it’s always well done in fast food standards, the service is quick and polite, employees are always wearing masks and frequently cleaning.

I always order all canadian breakfast from a/w all over edmonton.i am not taking any carb so insted toast and hasbrown all other location gives me some kind of protien but here i feel ripped for 2 eggs and 2 small sausage they charge me 9 dollar they cant replace anything ms. Supervisor you dont have common sense.way to go guys you dont know the simple basics of customer service and my food was old.watch this store they just try to rip you Guys. WORST A&W IN WHOLE EDMONTON.

This location is temporarily closed, as of today Oct 8th 2020. I was there, trying to get food. Could be due to Covid-19 cases amongst employees? ‍️

Staff are excellent. They provide fast and quick service. They gave me fresh food. They wear mask and keep cleaning during COVID 19

Always nice to visit this restaurant for some fresh and amazingly tasty chicken burgers. Clean and nice place with very awesome staff. Can’t get enough of chicken burgers from this place

This place just wow! I mean wow. Always fast in service. I see people cleaning tables and hand sanitizer frequently which is very good during this pandemic. In love with this place. Best in city as compare to other places in the city.

They routinely mess up orders, and take up to 10 minutes to give you the wrong food. Not well run, unfortunately.

1: 15 in the afternoon I ordered from this restaurant using skip the dishes. I live a 4 minute walk from here. I ordered a mozza burger combo with a poutine. My burger was luke warm and my fries were cold in the poutine. It was they put cool fries in the poutine and just added the warm gravy and cheese to it. I asked for ice in my soft drink and did not receive any ice at all! This is not the first time I've had garbage food from here! But it will be the last! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME ORDERING FROM THIS RESTAURANT, SAVE YOUR MONEY!

As usual, the food and service was great. Everything was made fresh and served to us in a timely manner. Hats off to the hard working crew there.

I don't know why, but both my husband and I found our burgers Mozza Burger and Uncle Burger) to be tasteless at this visit.

Excellent service. I loved their burgers and onion rings. I liked the fact that we wetent ask to drive to a parking stall and wait for our order. I don't apreciate when I go to McDonalds and we have to wait for our order thats not customer service. Well done A & W. Thank you

I'm tired of this enviro friendly BS. The food is so so but they need to reintroduce the salads they had about 10 years ago. Also the bathrooms need to be remodeled to be accesible and stop from smelling

Why would anybody think it is OK to have such a filthy bathroom in a restaurant? This was not just a one time thing. Over one a a half years there was ONE instance where the bathroom was clean. I hope that they kitchen is cleaner.: (

Clean restaurant and nice staff. Unfortunately the clientele are a bit rough and ready so probably best to go earlier in the day.

This was once my go to A&W, but awhile ago I ordered a chicken sandwich and when I got it, it was RAW! I don't mean undercooked, but completely raw. It was once a place that I would hit up once or twice a month, but I can't imagine ever going back. I've only just gotten over my aversion to chicken.

Slowest service possible. Not even two tables are full and they are delayed with the order for over 10 mins. How ironic that they are supposed to be fast food.

A&W have the best root beer and double mozzarella burgers. The meat is always fresh and juicy. Not always please with the staff.

Fries were dry. Beyond burger nothing to brag about. Best fries are at Costco and lots for 2.39.you can buy the same fries at the freezer section. Very tasty.

I started with a chicken burger and a cod wrap, moved on to a mama burger meal, onion rings, and an ice cold root beer. I then crushed the bleep out of it all. Staff was great. It must be nice to be able to fulfill every hungry person's dreams. Would recommend. Very much.

A&W are virulently against unions, going so far as to admit that they keep secret records about employees and restaurants that have discussed forming unions. Also, they don't source their beef from Canadian cattle. I won't be eating at any A&W until they stop these deceitful practices.

Best service. Nice place to hangout and also I love their burgers. It is the best A&W in Edmonton. I like their food as compared to other A&W’s in city.

Prices are getting up there but it’s consistently decent breakfast and lunch/dinner in terms of fast food. One unfortunate thing is that they only offer paper straws now, I know it’s more environmentally friendly but they become mush in 15 minutes and give the root beer a odd taste.

The best location ive ever been to, they go out of there way to make sure every individual visit is a good one.

Super nice place to be honest I really enjoyed my stay here. The food was really quick and I had no problems at the counter. Overall it was really good plus the employees were super nice and cooperative. 8/10 would definitely come here again.

Best place for burgerz y because YOU and eye can get em snytime of the day what they sell doesnt matter the time they know not to argue with a customer support

The burgers tasted like you'd expect an A&W burger to taste like. The onion rings were great and the service was fairly quick. Can't go wrong with the teen burger. I'm not a huge fan of the buddy chicken burger because the bread to burger ratio is too much, but the pickles in the burger is an interesting addition to the burger.

The service was fast as I mentioned before so I can't really comment on the friendliness of the service as we usually get food from the drive through here.
