Drive thru is, without fail, exasperatingly slow. Any longer than 3 cars, just go somewhere else. After waiting 20 min to be served, they had our vehicle park and wait another 10 min to get food. Not the only time.

Always clean never have I waited in line to order there fast efficient extremely pleasant clean store for that I give a 5 star great customer service

Love A&W but this location is fantastic. The staff are friendly and quick. Definitely my regular place for take out fast food. Even though there are two other A&W locations closer to home the people make it worth the extra drive time. Thank you!

This is what this location passes for a mozzarella mushroom mama burger. I’ve made a formal complaint to corporate because this is embarrassing for them. This location really needs to improve the quality of their burgers

Same as other reviews. Service is good and so is the food but the drive through is painstakingly slow.

What kind of drive thru asks you to drive around for 5 minutes and then come back? Not the first time this location has asked.

Great location: Service was quick, food fresh and the team member was sooo pleasant (made my morning).

The service was good I got exactly what I ordered and the girl at the takeout was very courteous

I always buy at this location especially between past midnight to early morning, but this morning of Wednesday between 4: 00 to 4: 15 AM, I ordered burger for me and my wife through their drive thru. After giving my order I told the crew that I have a coupon but to my surprised, this lady crew exclaimed "I will give you the discount by the window" in an irritated manner. It wasn't pleasing to the ears so I said to my wife that this crew has bad manner. This is the first time I experienced this from this location and I planned not to get my order if not to my wife telling me to still get my order because it might get charged to the crew. So I waited at the window then I confronted this crew. She said that she was in a hurry thus her tone, but then she asked me what is wrong with her tone. I answered by immitating the way she said it then left. I understand how difficult it is to work the night shift as I always work night shifts too but this is not the right way to behave especially when you are representing a business.

Food was okay, but the drive thru is full of snow, and when I mentioned it to the staff I could tell I was the only one to mention it. I almost got stuck in there. Quick order and delivery of food though.

No hot drinks in a morning, the drive thu was about as cleared of snow as a farmer's field. Food was cold, and took a long time.

Frequent occasional, - when I crave a hamburger. Probably brain washed by advertising, but I really enjoy their burgers. Their onion rings are definitely the best IMO.

I always come through their drive thru when craving A&W. Staff at the window are always friendly and the food is often fresh and served warm. Recommend!

Ordered take out Saturday, Sept 25,5: 25 pm at Northland, Calgary. Food was excellent. What was amazing was the cashier/order taker. She was cheerful, pleasant and professional.

Went to have a sip of my coffee and got a mouthful of this. Not happy. 2nd time this has happened.

Standard A&W food, nothing wrong there. They do not have standard condiments like every other A&W in Canada. Don't ask for Frank's hot sauce for your eggs because they don't have it.

Also no salt and pepper and ketchup when I dined in.

People are nice just whoever runs that franchise doesn't have product in stock.

Their breakfasts are amazing, yes they take time but they are worth the wait. Hash browns to die for

I like this location, their menu is affordable and the food is always good! My favorite is the breakfast platter, you can't beat a quick cheap breakfast and fresh coffee!

Do not go to this location under the current owners. Ive gotten cold food multiple times, and on top of that they have missed items before, making a turn around trip or having to just explain to them about the return, only to be met with rude passive service and remarks instead of offering to amend it!? Really bizarre haha.

To the drive thru staff who changed our order:
I forgot to request the teen burger without bacon and I requested it when I was at the window, she was really nice, understanding and prepared a new one for us in under a minute. Thank you! And sorry for not specifying it before.
A&W is one of the best burgers I had. They are juicy and never dry. Tastes amazing. Amount is a lot as well. Nothing bad to say about this place.

Ordered thru drive through. After 20 mins in line up they Didn't give us everything we ordered and I tried to call or walk in to get the missing items and the call went to voice-mail. The only option we had was to wait a further 20 mins in drive thru. Very frustrating

Line in yhe drive through was slow. I dont like the paper straws. I would hope they could use the biodegradable plastic straws.

Always good food.especially recommend onion rings. Just 4 stars because the root beer is not full if ice and doesn't really manage to stay cold.which is when it tastes the best.ice cold. Not sure how they can remedy that without diluting with a lot of ice.

I have been eating at A&W (various locations) since I was a kid and have never had a problem with them. Yesterday I got a mozza burger and onion rings. The service was good but the burger tasted different than it always has. I ate it anyway, and today I've had diahrreah that is still persisting over 24 hours later (no vomiting). I would warn anyone that if the burger tastes different than usual, don't eat it and let the staff know.: (

I ordered a medium coke and a medium root bear and 2 meals from here. Never in my life have I seen a place put two lids on it that you can’t put straws through them. They weren’t even the right size, just about Spilled the drinks everywhere trying to get these off. I’m a perfectly functioning human, I know how to take a lid off. These were straight lids. You could not drink out of them, unless you cut a hole. I have a drink with no lid. I paid for the drink, I want everything to do with the drink.

The pattys on A&W are bar none the best on any fastfood burger! If im in a jam at work and need to get fast food there burgers are the only ones ill get

I really like this A&W stop for a quick meal after or before work it's convenient sometimes a bit congested with the mall access.

This location is usually very slow at getting food out the window at the drive-through (it's hardly fast food), and they are extremely cheap on their burger toppings. And their toppings are often soggy. For example I might get one ring of a red onion on my burger but I can't taste it because it's so old and soggy. I would not recommend this location.

Great food, happy workers. Could be faster considering how quiet it is usually but otherwise a great place for a quiet meal

Cute little A&W nestled right in the corner of the Northland Mall parking lot and Shaganappi. Very small but cozy. Decent food and quick service.

We were interested in trying out the difference between the "Beyond Meat" vegetarian menu to a regular burger. We ordered a Beyond Egg & Sausage + regular Egg & Sausage, Beyond Burger + Regular Burger. All were yummy, can't tell the difference between the Egg & Sauage. The Beyond burger is a bit lighter in color and softer on biting. It was an awesome dine-in experience. We went on the weekend so there was less traffic, the seating is for a small audience.

Worst A&W I ever been too.cheese and bacon all to one side.took it back and the owner was a ignorant dirty old man. Never again

Can't beat the Mozza and the bacon & egger. My favorite goto when on the run. Coffee is great! (bring your own mug.) best value in town for breakfast. (check for coupons on-line)

One of the better A&W joints! No issues with food, parking however is very limited! And tight.

Could barely make it into the restaurant today with all the traffic, I guess everyone had the same craving for A&W at 2 pm.
We didn’t have to wait in line, friendly staff at the till took our order, the food was served fast and fresh with hot fries.
Would recommend going to this restaurant in the future.

This A&W is a cut above other locations I've been to. I once received a burger so beautifully constructed it could have been photographed for an advertisement.

First off, it is a family burger place. But, in my opinion, best burgers and fries in town. Always a go to when we are hungry. Especially this store.

My order is always complicated but they always get it right! Like who orders a bacon and egger with the cheese on the side. This is the only location that gets it right 100% if the time.

Great service from David! The restaurant was very busy but he made sure to make our experience very personal. Hope to return for another memorial experience!

Perfect for the family we need something quick and fast. My kids love the teen burger combo’s with moose milk.

A&w is generally more progressive amongst the fast food chains. This place is no exception, but it's very tough to rate a fast food restaurant higher than three stars. You'll get exactly what you expect.

One of the worst A&W's in the city. They don't serve milkshakes (or at least that's what the moody teenage dude said), veggie burgers are always left frozen and they take 8 mins for them to prepare (I've never had this problem with any other location) and the staff is rude and clearly not trained properly. The teenage guy that works there acts like he's better than everyone else, and the lady that was taking orders at the drive thru kept interrupting me saying, "Okay I will have your total at the window, " even though I wasn't done telling her my order (she did this at least three times before I was able to say my whole order). Also the location is in the weirdest spot.whoever is in charge of this A&W needs to make major improvements. I'll just go to another A&W instead of feeling harassed. Yikes!

It's just as delicious as any A&W I give this rating for the speed of services. A&W is typically longer wait times because it's fresher. But I'm sitting in the drive thru right now it's been over 10 minutes, I have not moved since I joined the queue. I'm boxed in so no turning my back. I'm still excited for my delicious meal but this is too much.

Greatest a&w ever! The staff is absolutely amazing, the owner is there every day sweeping or mopping and always has a smile on his face. Great service. Only a&w I would go back again

A tiny space that does a great job with what it has. Could use some visible recycling / composting effort.

Typical A & W with better than average breakfast offerings. Coffee is not as good as it used to be.
