I just moved to Edmonton from Red Deer & was looking for Halal & delicious Pakistani food. The lady there was very pleasant & understanding my food choices. I got Nihari, Bihari Kebab, and Butter Naan just to check the food. My experience has been Wonderful all over in all categories. Insha Allah I shall keep going here and recommending my mates.
Had a gathering of 25+ people, every single person left complimenting how amazing the food was! We’ve been going her for so long! One of the best place to get authentic Pakistani food
I went to the restaurant for a party. The buffet was dirty and there was a long hair in the plate with cutlery. I asked the waitress to clean it. She disappeared for 5 minutes and came back grabbed a spoon from the plate with hair and mixed the Biryani. When I told her that she needs to wash the spoon since it touched the hair for food Safety.she got mad and said oh it just touched the spoon. I was surprised. She did bring clean spoons but I was not able to eat anything. She was rude and looked tired. There was around 44 people and only one waitress to serve all.
Went for aftari buffet. The inside temperature was too cold, I was shivering all the time. Requested the waitress to adjust temp but it was still uncomfortable. Dishes were cold despite this being one of the most expensive aftari buffet in the city. When I called in to check menu they almost counted 20-30 dishes where infact actual dishes were much less. Plenty of parking was available and there is a masjid next door. Will be trying another place next time.
We catered their food for a house party. The food was delicious and plentiful for the price. The delivery was on time. And the customer service on the phone at the time of ordering and a 2nd phone call for revision was very helpful and thorough. Will definitely order again!
I have been to Ayesha’s many times and I do believe that the prices and service has gotten much better but I have had better Pakistani meals at other restaurants in Edmonton. I like the food but I wouldn’t call it authentic Pakistani food.
Unfortunately, our experience was pretty bad. The value for money was just not there.
Ordered soup. For $4.99 for a small bowl, it came to $20 four of us. In a good Chinese restaurant, you will get family bowl for less and twice the serving. Taste was anything but soup. Very little meat and more like towards yakhni.
Chicken handing was shorba with lots of turmeric color and taste. Mutton karahi was gravy. Both dishes had very little protein in them.
Kebabs were overly priced. I must say the food was over-priced. Naan, although expensive, were good.
Worst experience of my life! They charge 15$ for my 3 year old who had no food what so ever because a 3 years old can’t have spicy food! I went to have a bite for myself and they charged me 50$ for a buffet that only had 5-6 options for all food combined! There were no options for desert or fruits! They charge extra for a coffee for Gods sake! What a rip off! I’m never stepping my foot here again and please be aware, don’t waste your money here please!
No taste, food was cold, biryani is tasteless and not fresh, naver go Sunday brunch becoz food are not fresh they made Saturday and Sunday are not cooked fresh food,
The ugliest foid one could ever think off! Naan were 3 days old and not even chewable! Biryani was two days old and butter chicken was the worst? ! Rotis were uncooked
Great food and staff. Very clean and family-friendly restaurant. We came over for buffet and the items were quite diverse and tasty. Highly recommend this place for those visiting Edmonton or transitioning through.
Worst Chicken Manchurian. Tasted like sweet and sour sauce and barely any chicken pieces. Clearly this restaurant does not know how to make it. Hard to find a good Chicken Manchurian in Edmonton. Bindi and Chicken Bryani was ok. Portion sizes are small.
Non Pakistani people might like the food if they don't know what the dish is supposed to taste like, but Pakistani folks will not. The haleem, if presented as daal, would be considered okay daal with a little too much salt. If you said it was haleem, no one would believe you. The biryani tasted like they mixed achaari chicken salaan with rice. The korma had a hint of korma, but mostly tasted like normal day to day chicken curry. Everything was too salty.
Been coming here practically every since it opened, and have not been disappointed with the food once! Amazing staff, luxurious seating, and an overall great restaurant
Good quality food and fair price. Ordered for take out and food was fresh and tasty. Highly recommend if you at fan of tasty and spicy food. Menu also offers not/less spicy dishes too.
Tried a few soups; all look and taste like curries, lol. They are not familiar with basic ingredients of Hot & Sour soup and told me it's the best "Hot & Sour soup".
$10.00 for single piece of chicken. $13.00 for medium container of butter chicken with 6 pieces of cubed chicken (yeah, I counted). $3.00 for a piece of garlic naan. A single piece (bruh)
I bought the chicken chutney roll these roll are waste of money. They cost $7.99 and the rolls are so small compared to the price.not good taste. Worst experience
I like their breakfast of Halwa Puri only. During COVID, they have only take away option. Tried their other dishes not good as of authentic Pakistani style/standard.
We called them Sunday Morning to if they are open for halwa poori, they said they were, we went their guy said it will take 1 hour to have our food ready as they are super busy. Few months back we order Nehari for my kids birthday party for 12 people it literally had 3 pieces of meat, I called the owner he said it should be enough and it was not. Disappointed 2 times. Too bad lost my business for good. Staff could have advice us when we called to order ahead as they literally just opened. Raja Food for the win. Not coming back here ever again.
Made the biggest mistake of ordering biryani from this restaurant. We asked for goat biryani & they gave us lamb biryani loaded with potato pieces & it tasted horrible. The worst biryani we ever had. Never ever to make a food order from this restaurant. A total waste of money! ️Highly disappointed!
Nice little restaurant, but food selection and quality was disappointing. Some of the chicken pieces were raw and some of the dishes tasted as if they were reheated. I don't mind paying over $20 per person to eat in a buffet, but come on, you need to work on your quality. Was my first visit, and sadly will be my last.
Frm ind I went with sis in sept 19.first of all absolutely fantastic food. We did get takeaway pretty normal dishes we bought bt it was delicious. Each grain of rice n each byt frm sabzi and roti was tasty. Surely i must say u hv gud recipes for same dishes like chana, daal, saag etc it was different than others.as i have had desi food every corner of canada. GUY at the till was helpful gud gesture. It was only one evening bt i will remember the taste for life.
My Trip to Edmonton was an enjoyable one. Visiting friends was great. The Highlight of my stay there was dining at Ayesha’s Kitchen. Loved the warmth & friendly environment. Delicious Food. & Amazing Buffets! ️ The BBQ & Naans were Awesome. There was lots of mouth- watering variety. Loved going there. ️.
So I was craving biryani baaaad. So decided to order chicken biryani from these guys. What I got was disgrace to all biryanis in the world. I got one small piece of meat and 2 chunks of potatoes. It lacked salt, flavour and spices. Seriously so disappointing Really wanted to like this place as I need biryani in my life, unfortunately they won't be getting anymore business from me.
Just went for brunch with my family from Toronto who have had their fair share of Pakistani food in Toronto and they loved this place. The food was great, authentic taste and the buffet had a great selection. They bring the fresh puri and the naan to the table as well which was great. The server was prompt and friendly. Overall would highly recommend!
We went there for brunch this morning for the first time. The service was great. My wife’s family are Pakistani and they were impressed with the authenticity, the flavours were delicious. They do the buffet with the spices toned down a little bit so everyone can enjoy it, also have a full menu to order from. We will definitely go back.
Twice per week I order skip the dishes so thought to try food from Ayesha's kitchen (BIG MISTAKE) The portion of food is not worth the price. The food taste so sour (butter chicken & chilli chicken). I will never recommend this place to anyone.
Poor service, limited buffet menu and price way too high compare to dishes. It's not worth going with family as I was very unsatisfied and still paid in full. I would not recommend going there.
MY Experience AT Ayesha's Kitchen Was Awesome. Beautiful Ambiance, pleasant & Friendly Staff. Especially The most Delicious Food Ever. Worth Coming Again
Last Place in this world to Recommend - OVER OVER Priced for the quantity you get. Common guys you overcharge so much at least give 10% of what you charge. I am leaving this review for future visitors - I will not visit here for sure.
Terrible experience. Expensive! Be aware if you are ordering any dish. Food quantity they serve is way less than a normal person eats. We told them that the food quantity is not enough and ordered the same food twice. On second time they served the same quantity. No matter how many feedback you give them, they never listen and improve. Fish tikka was cold and definitely not fresh. We have tried other Indian restaurants and the quantity and quality of food was way better than this. Food test is good not doubt but their service is worst. Ayesha Kitchen! I did not want to give any negative comments but your poor service, customer dealing and not listening to customers’ problem made me write this review.if someone wants to go there then go for buffet.
For one they have the best biriyani in the buffet, all the curries were awesome. Kabobs were okay. I bet the cutneys were tasty they were empty the whole time I was there so was the thing next to tandoori chicken. Other than that the food was really good. Will definitely go back with a really good appetite.
Everything was fantastic except the old & cold coffee with extremely absurd taste. Upon inquiring staff wasn't sure for how long the coffee was there and if it has been changed since morning or not. Food is up to the mark. Recommended for Pakistani food but have coffee at your own risk ;)
I did not like the recent price changes and for drinks they are not free anymore and no refills. It cost me $58.75 for just 2 people. I was regular customer but will not go there anymore.
Very rude with worst customer service! I really liked the food but the attitude of the owner in particular is probably the worst I have experienced. Won’t be going there anymore and advise you not to either.
