I was very sceptical in going at first due to a very bad experience at another denist in fox creek last year. I'm so glad I went my experience was pretty painless i must say. Dr Panesar made my visit welcoming and comfortable He even made me giggle which I never do at the dentist The staff were friendly and kind. GREAT EXPERIENCE! THANK YOU FOR YOUR KINDNESS AND CARE!

Came here to get a bridge removed, super quick and friendly service…had to come in weeks later, last minute to get my son’s tooth pulled, we were in and out in an hour; maybe less. Extremely friendly and courteous Doctors and assistants. I have made this Dentists office my permanent go to for any needs for my family and I.

They were amazing greeting and getting me in fast highly recommended and the dentist was great too.

I had very sudden onset, severe tooth pain radiating into my ear and jaw. I called around and Azarko was the place that could accommodate me soonest. Receptionists were very kind and polite, and ensured everything was seamless with my coverage and such before I showed up. Like many people, I'm not a fan of dentists, but the dental assistant (forgot her name) and Dr. Zhang did their best to make me comfortable and paused for a few minutes and gave me a stress ball when I got panicky. All told, getting x-rays and wisdom tooth extracted was less than 30 minutes. They have a modern facility and good staff so I would recommend them.

Sherry is the rudest person you could ever have answering your telephone.called this morning to ask a question im put on hold within the first 3 seconds why even answer it.then my question dont get answered & i gets told that im not worthy to talk too because there is 3 other people on hold.what happens when someone walks into ur business and knocks this lady out for being rude. She works for the PUBLIC she has No bussiness working there as rude as she is.do better with hiring process thats without a doubt.

Rini did an amazing job cleaning my teeth. She went a lot deeper than other hygienists have and her work was more thorough. She definitely cares about her job. My mouth felt so much better afterwards

I went for my filling and the dentist even didn’t consult before proceeding treatment. Until then it was fine but she did filling on other tooth and then she wasn’t accepting it.
However, I had many fillings in past but this one was very painful and now the tooth beside the treated one is also hurting. I would never recommend Dr. Bonna to anyone

Highly recommend this dental office! I had a wisdom tooth broken down to the nerve they got me in within an hour and removed it so gently! My usual dentist isn’t open Friday-Sunday so they definitely saved me today!

5 stars for Dr. Brett York! I had an implant come off which was installed by another dental firm. My initial thoughts was half a dozen dental appointments and a few thousand dollars to repair the damage. Upon inspection, Dr. York was able to reuse the implant by using some high quality cement and had me out of the chair in 30 minutes. It is service like this that make me a lifetime customer. Thanks for the quick and professional treatment. For excellent and honest dental work, Dr. York definitely fits the bill and can be trusted.

The new clinic is very nice, the staff and Dr York are amazing. They make you feel comfortable and ensure you have a pleasant experience. I rate the clinic 5/5. However, the parking sucks, it's a strong 1/5. It's tight, there are not enough spots, it's difficult to access from the opposing lane, also the signage is poor. The street parking at the old location was much better, despite the construction.

We were traveling from out of town, my son had an issue, they managed to get us in immediately. The front desk workers were great, and the destist was well knowledged. We had a great experience, and are thankful they salvaged our vacation in Edmonton.

I woke up this morning with an awful toothache and decided to get myself an emergency appointment at Azarko. I called at 8am and they were able to get me in at 11: 45am this morning. As someone who has high anxiety involving anything to do with dentistry, I was dreading my appointment and considered cancelling it and just dealing with the pain. I did (thankfully) decide to go through with it and I am so glad that I did.

The front desk ladies were extremely personable and I felt slightly more at ease from the moment I walked in. The dental assistant who took me to my room and got my x-ray (I didn't catch her name, I'm sorry!) was wonderful. She was so understanding and definitely kept my spirits up despite my pain. She was a wonderful cheerleader through the worst of it! It turned out that I needed to have my tooth extracted and I began to panic internally. Dr. York gave me all my options but ultimately decided an extraction was the best route to take. He walked me through the entire process and was absolutely excellent. The whole procedure was over in less than 20 minutes from being numbed to the tooth being removed. His kind and compassionate demeanour allowed me to relax and allowed them to do their job, and his humour made the experience far superior to any dental work I have ever had done previously.

To all of you at Azarko: Thank you for making a less than desirable situation not only tolerable, but for also easing my anxiety behind going to the dentist in the future. I have already got my complete check up booked with Dr. York in a few weeks and this is the first time I can say I am not absolutely dreading it.

If you are on the hunt for a new dentist I 100% recommend reaching out to Azarko. I wish I could give them 10 stars.

The dentist York and his team including front staff are fantastic. They make our family feel comfortable. York, works within pain and comfort level. My daughter is not afraid of the dentist.

I have had extreme dental anxiety for as long as I can remember. Up until the age of 21, the only way I could get through the dentist was with nitrous oxide (laughing gas). Due to my extreme dental anxiety, I had neglected my teeth for several years, almost in terror of visiting the dentist. I don't even know how I ended up finding Dr. Panesar, but I honestly believe he was heaven sent. If you suffer with any form of dental anxiety (or even if you don't!), you *need* Dr. Panesar as your dentist. I don't think there is any other dentist in existence that could get me to sit in that chair without trying to run away, and trust me - I have a history of running!

Dr. Panesar is just the best. He is such a compassionate, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind-hearted man. He truly cares about his patient's well being. I know that I am likely his most anxious patient, but he always takes the time to make sure I am okay, never making me feel like I am a burden. I know that this is a long winded review, but he so deserves an exceptional review. Having him as my dentist has been life changing for me, knowing that I will never again neglect my teeth out of fear. *He also gives the best high 5's - definitely ask for one when you are done your visit with him!:). I cannot recommend Dr. Panesar and Azarko Dental enough, it is well worth the 1 hour drive from out of town to their office.

I must also commend the amazing dental assistants and support staff in this office as well. They always make me feel so cared for whenever I come in, and I look forward to chatting with all of them!:) The ladies at the front desk are so genuinely sweet and kind - I just love them! It really makes all the difference to a patient like me.

I've come along way in my dental experience. I'm Thankful for Mohini and Dr. Zhang. They've had patience and understanding with me.

Went in for a cleaning at the new facility. Azarko never disappoints and their new facility is great. Will always be a repeat customer.

I initiated a visit with Azarko Dental Group for my 2-year old. What I wanted was just a simple visit, a base line for when my son needs to come back for an actual visit he would be a bit familiar with the building, and would not start off his dental journey with sharp objects in his mouth but of kind staff members and doctors. He was well received, patience was given to my monster of a 2 year old, and Dr. Panesar had an appropriate bedside manner for this immature child. Although my son did not cooperate with the doctor, he did not allow the dentist to see his teeth. Regardless, the visit was still a success; my two year old did not leave crying, and he did not receive his prize of a fancy orange bouncy ball (my discernment because he did not cooperate, but the staff were more then generous to offer him a gift)

Dr. York was extremely professional and understood my fears. I had to make an emergency appointment, but he still took the time to discuss treatment options. Would definitely recommend Azarko Dental Group.

Every visit is great! Aside from having the tooth issues but as far as the dentist there great very nice staff between the dentist and staff I’ve always felt comfortable and taken care of great place and very professional and accommodating.

There is a rude staff member at your front desk. In two occasions now, I received the wrong information and bad service. I canceled my last appointment because this girl calls me and tells me that I had no benefits, that her computer said I had no coverage. Didn’t ask for information. Didn’t try to assist. I checked with another office and I do, so I guess she didn’t want to provide me with the service? Too sad cause I did enjoyed being a patient of Dr. York.

I was told I didn’t have benefits when I do. And then she proceed to decline me the purchase of the withening gel I have been purchasing and using for years now. Same I have purchase from there without issues before.

This was personal? Not sure. But check on your staff because she basically declined my business and that’s losing money to yours.

What a fantastic group of people. I was in same day I called, Dr. York fixed my broken front tooth and made me smile confidently again. I had fun too.that's rare for me at the dentist. I first went to Dr. Andreas Azarko 30+ years ago. If you want the best treatment and professional care in a relaxed supportive atmosphere, I highly recommend the Azarko Dental Group. 5

I've been going to Azarko for about 6 years now. The staff is friendly and very accommodating. I have a swallowing disorder that makes dental visits a bit stressful and difficult for me, but Dr. York and his staff always work around my problems with patience and consideration. They're very professional, and highly skilled. They even fixed a dental issue for my 91-year-old father that his previous dentist could not! Add to that the fact that they have emergency dental services on weekends and you have a fantastic practice! I could not give them a higher rating.

My first time with this dentist. And was very impressed on the greetings from the front to the back. Very understanding and explained everything to help my cause, and I thank them for that and I very highly recommend them!

Dr York at Azarko Dental is my go to guy for tooth related emergencies! Not only is he good at all things dental repair hes got great bed side manners. Explains everything hes going to do and has a good sense of humour while working

Amazing staff, thorough, thoughtful, and kind. I have seen some rotation of staff, with all of them delivering the same quality care. Love this place so much, definitely recommend them to my family and friends. Just saw Dr. Panesar for the first time and he gave me extra time for a thorough exam and full X-rays, even though all I was in for was a check up on a sore tooth. Very happy with the quality of care at this dental office. Everything is clean and new as well!

I have been going to this dental office since it opened. I would guess somewhere near 40 or so years give or take. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Dr. York is my dentist of choice.

I was going through a dental crisis and the friendly staff at Azarko were able to see me quickly. All of my concerns were addressed and I was able to receive treatment the very next morning.
It was a very positive experience.

Very shady billing practices when it comes to insurance and out of pocket. Do your research and go somewhere else.

I am petrified of dental work due to past horrors, however I had been made to feel very welcome, calm and at ease at Azarko. Ashra is quite literally the reason I go there. Dr Josh is darn good at making me feel comfortable at goes at a pace I am good with, gently letting me know what he is doing next. Hygiene is by far my least favourite thing but it was done well and my issues are getting better. The only suggestion is the there is a bit of training for hygienists so they know what anxiety and panic look like so they recognize the signs and can respond accordingly. Everyone needs to go to Azarko.but maybe don't or I will have to fight for an appointment

The administrative stuff are friendly professional and super accommodating. Dr. Johnston has been my dentist for approximately 7 years and he is absolutely the best dentist I've ever seen. He really takes into consideration a client's feelings and needs. Dr. Johnston would make your dental experience the best one that you've ever had. I highly recommend this office and they cater to emergency situations also.

Tried to book a appointment today and was told I had an outstanding bill of 140.76 from 2013 that needed to be paid before they would book me.
I do remember paying that bill as I had to have my wife come bring me the money because they would not let me leave without payment.
After 8 years though there is no way for me to dispute this so I just said ok and gave her my card info. She said she would process the payment and call back to book me in.
Sure enough they got the payment out of my account but then called and said because I had an outstanding bill for so long they would not just accept billing my benefits and that I would have to pay out of pocket for the whole amount as well and when they received payment from my health plan they would forward it to me.
This all seemed very backwards and suspect so I decided not to book with them.
After telling her I would like to just cancel all she said was "ok" and hung up the phone.rude and unprofessional!
My advice is if you are thinking of going here don't.but if you must go see them then DO NOT GIVE THEM CASH and keep all the receipts for 10+ years. Something with this place is not on the up and up.beware.

Was a very good experience. Overall great. Too complicated of an online booking system, but the cleaning, scaling, experience was great.

I have been a patient at Azarko Dental Group for over 30 years. Always had a good experience with the dentists, Dr. ANRICO, Dr. ANDREAS, Azarko, Dr. TANG, and recently
Dr. ZHANG, for a check up only. Dr. Zhang does not say much at all.
Amanda is very good, and I have never had any problems with administration. I am hoping I can talk with Dr. Zhang more next time I see him as he is new to me.
I would recommend Azarko Dental Group to anyone I know.

I was received in AZARKO Clinic as an emergency case with dental implants gone wrong. They made time for my assessment and scheduled implants extraction very next day. Dr. Johnston has been a real blessing for a highly anxious person in a lot of pain and discomfort. Implants were placed in my country of birth, Serbia, while I was there recently. I have not been made feel uncomfortable or ashamed for going this route and only asking him to fix the problem someone else created. Dr. Johnston was very realistic and proactive and didn't want to dwell on past events, but how to best find a solution for current situation. He was gentle, reassuring and very transparent throughout the whole process.
I am forever grateful to this extraordinary human!

Came in on an emergency basis, was told nobody could take me until the next day so they gave me forms to sign. Was notified after signing and turning in forms the dentist agreed to see me anyways. Had an emergency wisdom tooth extraction the same day and was even allowed to keep my tooth!

So my mental health was at an all time low in 2019, long story short- I had to cancel my appts often because of my severe panic disorder. I’ve improved since then - and I called to book an appointment almost after 2 years and got denied the ability to book ahead. Reception says I have a “spotty” history, and if I want a service I will have to call day of. Guess I’m looking for a new dentist ‍️, maybe a clinic who understands the ups and downs of mental health (and shift work which can wreck havoc on ones wellbeing).

Very disappointed in service, pieces of the filling came out, a dental roll was left in my mouth when I left still frozen, and then issues when getting the tooth reassessed. Then one week later they phoned to rebook a cleaning and assessment, computer not updated as assessment was completed 3 weeks ago. Is anyone listening to the customer?

Professional, clean, friendly. I was nervous to go for the first time, but they were nothing but kind. They made sure I was comfortable and the procedure I was seen for, was done well. Have already recommended their services to a family member!

I have a huge fear of the dentist. But Dr. Panesar went well above and beyond to ensure I was as comfortable and relaxed as I could be. He was professional, informative and answered all my silly anxiety questions.
The Front Staff are also very friendly and welcoming.

We requested an emergency appointment late Friday night for my 9 year old and were seen first thing Saturday morning. The staff were very nice and the dentist was phenomenal, explaining everything to me and my son. It was a great experience!

I came in 4 years ago to have a tooth pulled. Instead I got talked into a root canal and a temporary filling. I got the hard sell, the dentist really pushed this procedure which cost more than my total insurance coverage for 2 years and the temporary filling fell out the next day. I went back last week to get it pulled as it was badly infected, and was charged $400. The dentist refused to give me an antibiotic and left a piece of tooth in. The infection is worse and I have no way to get to a dentist until November because I work in the north. I have to wait until it goes septic and is critical to get a medical now

I called for Emergency Care for my 12 year old, and we were given a prompt appt ASAP. All the front desk and complete medical team were just fantastic! Thanks so much!

Worst dentist in Edmonton. Some of the most incompetent staff I have come across. They act like they can't direct bill your benefits, then keep your money for weeks, after you prove your benefits. They have no respect for their patients. They don't know how to work with kids, and treat them as adults. Trying to resolve a payment issue with them? Good luck. I wouldn't recommend this dentist to anyone.

Excellent care and service. Best experience I have ever had at the dentist, first time with Dr Brett York and colleagues - they are all exceptional at their jobs.

I was in Edmonton attending a conference when a horrible toothache drove me to the internet looking for an emergency dental clinic. They got me in the next day. Dr. Szkudlarek, Sneha and Sherry were excellent, checking me out and giving me pain killers and antibiotics to get me through till I could visit my dentist back home. Then two days later the pain increased and I called the office again. They were able to get me in that afternoon and Dr. York, Kayla and Jessica saved the day. Two hours and one root canal later I was back to the conference. I can't say enough about the professional care I received. I would highly recommend Azarko Dental Group.

I was told I can drop for an emergency assessment, but they only have time to look at 1 tooth. Well I didn’t go, because I don’t have time for multiple overpriced examinations

I booked to have ONE tooth dealt with. Instead, unbeknownst to me, they booked me for a full check up and full cleaning just because I have insurance. Good thing I caught it before going in. During that call, I was told that they wouldn't have time to fix a tooth! That was the whole reason I booked to begin with! I was going to make this my regular dentist. NOT ANYMORE! And don't bother saying that you can't find my file. My appointment that I canceled was booked for next week.

Had an appointment today with Dr. Johnston to get all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed. Appointment was for 12: 30 and I was done by 1: 15. They were absolutely wonderful and it ended up costing less than what was quoted! I highly recommend them.

Do not ever let these people, especially dr.xang near your mouth.the most horrific experience of my life.rushed through not cared about.left with a mouth full of tooth fragments.

Our entire family are patients at Azarko. We have 2 children and 3 adults.
One adult with severe anxiety and has had massive reconstruction surgery- all the way to a special needs adult.
Dr York and his team have always been more than accommodating with clear and realistic outcomes and expectations. Not only professional but patient as well allowing for a break and being personable to help ease the stress!
We would recommend anyone to Azarko Dental- the front staff are knowledgeable and more than willing to help you out!

Amazing staff! Fit me in on short notice! They made sure I felt as comfortable as possible while having a tooth extraction. Dr. York had me in and out once the procedure started. I didn't even finish one song on my phone! Thank you all so much! You will surely be recommended!

Despite I moved couple of times in the last 6 years I kept coming back to Azarko from the other side of the city due to excellent service and a best dentist by Mr. Allen. I will recommend to anyone.

I have been seeing Dr. York now for a few years and I am very impressed with his level of professionalism and expertise. I had to have an emergency root canal done yesterday due to an infection that was bothering me for quite some time. Not bad though as my root canals were done 20 years ago! I was not mentally prepared for this procedure and I was nervous. Dr. York was so gentle and caring, he made me feel very comfortable and the procedure was completed quickly and painlessly. I am so grateful to have this infection dealt with! Thank you so much Dr. York for your amazing dentistry skills! I would highly recommend you to anyone!

I always leave here satisfied. And they've always been accommodating in squeezing me in as I have quite a busy schedule and I'm out of town quite a bit. I've come here for several years now and couldn't imagine going elsewhere. Thank you guys for all you do.

Normally would give 5 stars but of all the extractions I have done at this clinic this was by far the most painful and I would be happy not to have the same guy for the rest of my life.the assistant was amazing props to her no props to the dentist

I just wanted to provide a shout-out to Linda who works at the front desk (Scottish accent) - she is amazing! I called twice this week in pain and she was so empathetic and helpful to a level I can't describe! All the front desk people at Azarko are wonderful, but Linda is truly special and deserves special recognition. Azarko Dental Group is always available to help, even on weekends, which is really great I've been with them for 9 years and do recommend this dental office!

I'm glad I came to Azarko Dental, they were professional, polite, made me feel at ease, and performed their work with a negligible amount of pain (needle for freezing was the worst of it.)

Appointment use to be very on time. Now, on multiple times be prepared to wait at least half an hour before called. But still a good dental clinic

I was in need of a new dentist so I researched on the net. One aspect that was really important for me was being able to have dental appointments evenings and/or weekends. Azarko stood out to me on that alone. I made the call and explained why I was looking for a new dentist and briefly outlined my dental need and that I would prefer an evening or weekend appointment. The person I spoke with told me for a first visit it might be better to come in earlier to get all the forms done etc.but she would book me with Dr. York who works Wednesday evenings and Sundays. She booked me in for 5: 00 p.m. Perfect!

I've since had a number of appointments for various work including two crowns and an extraction, not to mention a unplanned root canal when prepping for the crown.

Dr. York is patient and accommodating. He explains things as he goes along and constantly asks how you are doing. I love his rapport with his assistant. They talk casually about things including their families and weekend plans; and, they really seem to trust one another when it comes to procedures. This was such a contrast to my last dentist who was always gruff and short tempered with the assistants.

Today was the day for my permanent crown/bridge. What a fabulous replacement for the broken teeth that were there a week ago! Needless to say, I have found my new dentist and my smile improves every visit. Thank you, Dr. York and Kayla. You are amazing.

Last year in September was my first appointment with Dr. Panesar and he told that their was alot of work to be done but he believed he could fix my teeth and he delivered on that promise 100% more then I thought was possible. The entire staff is great and was extremly helpful and positive even when I was overwhelmed with the amount of work I needed. Over the last year they fixed all my issues and left me feeling better about my smile and teeth then I have in years. I cannot thank them enough.

If you want excellent service, and dentists that actually care about their patients, you need to come here. Dr. Johnston and the rest of the staff are awesome. Dr. Johnston is very personable, makes you feel comfortable, and does great work. Highly recommend this place.

I went in for an emergency with a chipped filling and some decay under the tooth, this I should preface as being a very difficult thing for me to do because I not only have a phobia of needles but I also have a high level of anxiety when it comes to the dentist.
I was booked in with Dr. Ursula Szkudlarek and she saw me first at 1: 00 PM and that was fine, the X-ray went well and then she said she would book me to do the filling later at around 4: 00 PM.
Now the assistant that was helping her was phenomenal and the Doctors work was great however I did have one poor experience.
During the filling the assistant mentioned to the doctor that I wanted to come in again for further hygiene stuff and the doctor shook her head no. This really bothers me. I may of been difficult to work with given my high levels of anxiety but I’ve never felt more ashamed in my life.
I have given them 3 stars for the work and the friendliness of the majority of the staff but that one moment.that hurt, and it will bother me for a very long time.
I’m sorry I was jumpy but to humiliate me like that is kind of unwelcomed.

I always get treated properly here, the staff are wonderful and my dentist Dr Panesar takes the time to go over what he did and is a great dentist.he does excellent work and takes his time to do the job properly.totally would recommend go to this dental office and the hours of operation is great.
