Banff Town Sign

This sign is put up to welcome people into banff. There is a parking area across the sign which a 5 minutes parking specially to see and take pictures of the sign.

Finally, I was able to take pictures of the Banff sign. The town sign is always surrounded by visitors and it gets very crowded and busy. Therefore, I took the picture at night when no one was there. Cool spot for memorable pictures.

The best photo background will bring memory back. So popular. We arrive around 9: 15 am Sep 09,2023 and it is not that busy, but a line to take photos starts when we leave. What makes the experience better is that there is free parking just across the road.

Guyz try not to park on the side of road intending for a quick picture, as they have a designated parking spot on the left of it.

A sign to remember that you visited this beautiful town. There’s a car parking just opposite to the sign.

It's a must stop when visiting Banff. There is free parking (directly across the street in the recreation complex) to allow you a quick stop for photos.

Expect to queue up to take a picture, there's a short stay parking on the left hand side of the sign, get there early to avoid the rush.

Of course there had to be a photo here too. The Banff Town Sign is super popular. Thank God it's not so crowded in the off-season, but you have to allow a few minutes for the people in front of you to complete their photo choreography. It goes without saying that you take turns taking photos of other people in front of you in line.

Popular spot if you enjoy this kind of picture taking, social media showing, I-was-here kind of things. Bring portable tripod or stick, and remember to practice the remote picture taking features on you phones, smart watches, or mirror less cameras. Take your time and don't worry about lines of people waiting for you to finish. You probably won't have another chance.

Stumbled across the sign on our way back from a hike and were surprised to find it a tourist destination in its own right, with designated car parking. We joined the queue to get some nice photos to commemorate our trip, some of our fellow tourists could have been more considerate of those waiting as a large group ahead of us did multiple group shots then individual pictures of everyone in the group in various poses!
