It's an ok place to go, but getting into cross iron mall parking lot is a gong show most days!

So, coming from the UK, we don't have a place like this, but if you are looking for everything to do with the outdoor life, then you've got to come here. Amazing!

My husband could have spent all day here! He found some clothes but more importantly, he found the very specific fishing lures he was looking for. All at great prices!

What a fun place! I walked in just to show my mom how fun the store is and walked out with a gorgeous winter jacket at a great sales price and a pair of winter boots for my daughter. Even took my sister who bought the same pair of boots for her daughter! Not only did I find great deals, but the experience itself was fun specially seeing all the animals up close. I only wished I had more time to explore the store.
On my next visit, I plan on spending some time on the shooting range area!
I'm sure it's due to covid, but the ice cream shop was closed, wished I could have tried that out.
The only customers service I experience was at the til. I don't recall anyone asking of i needed help. But since everything is layout perfectly, and priced correctly, so I can't complain. It made my shopping experience enjoyable. I look forward to my next visit. If anyone from the store reads this, can you tell me if the ice cream parlor is permanently closed? Or temporarily closed? If its closed temporarily, when will it reopen?

Nice enough person but it pains me that management refuses to teach the staff about the products they sell. Why not talk about the product with your staff. Brutal experience in the binocular area of the store today.

Wanted to buy a pontoon boat. They gave me a quote and when I tried to place a deposit my salesman was not in. When I called back they told me price had gone up a couple of days previous to my call. They said it was because of exchange rate. $ 2000 I called head officeand they never called back no one seemed to care about not honouring their quote. This is what dealing with a big dealer does for you. I would not deal with them if you have a choice. I guess Imean nothing to them anyways I'm just a customer from Canada

Wow, the first time I was there on Saturday, had no Idea that they had such nice selection of clothes, I will be shopping there more often.

Excellent customer care. A lady named Linda helped my friends and I and she well versed in all the stores products and gave us all the options for products we were looking for. Five stars for Linda.

Great shop that's a true destination in and of itself. It's a mini adventure park within a store attached to a major shopping centre.

Always a good experience in Bass Pro, today I returned a defective food sealer. The person taking my return was friendly and helpful, the transaction went very well. I looked around to see if there were sales on a better quality food sealer, not today, I will watch their flyers for when another better quality one comes up on sale.
The fantastic selection for outdoor people is excellent throughout the store.

This is a large store to be in a mall. It consists of two floors and a good sized fish tank containing fish from around Alberta. The staff have been friendly and helpful in my experience. The prices are decent and there tends to be a good selection of items.

Store has a whole bunch of items inside for those who love the outdoors. Hidden gems through out the store for the kids (fish aquarium and animal tracks in the floor). Very much the best part of the mall

Purchased a flatbed trailer from Jeremy - he was professional and thorough. Kelly did our paperwork, and what a fantastic personality, made us feel great about our big purchase and ensure we were all set up. Then there was Darren, this fella went over and above to ensure we were satisfied with our purchase, trained us on how to use, and also dealt with a couple of small issues. What a great team there - I wish I could hire all three!

This place is an outdoorsman's dream. They anything you could imagine for hunting, fishing, camping etc. They even service boats in a shop right on site.

Archery department (Brandon) went above and beyond to answer all of our questions and explain the basics of archery and what we needed to get started. 10/10 service.

Tons of selection in fishing, which is what I was looking for. Shop around and ypu can find cheaper prices, unless you get the cabela/bass pro shop brand name on hooks, lures, etc. Staff can be a bit hard to find, extremely knowledgeable about the products and friendly.

It was like we were in an theme park.
Their concept was enough to surprise us, and we had the best experience.
They are selling all kinds of outdoor products, and I personally thought the price was reasonable.
If my family or friends come to Calgary, I will definitely take them here.

Such an awesome store! This store is huge and fun to explore! There are so many different animal statues around the store and are so life like! It's a big two level store that has everything imaginable you could need for outside activities. The store is accessible from inside the mall or outside and there's tons of parking nearby. Products might be a little more pricy than maybe other stores but they seem really good quality!

First time buying a compound bow was at this location today, awesome experience dealing with Dan who looks after the archery section. Dan was professional, patient with all my questions and knew everything under the sun and more. Not pushy at all, no upselling and gave solid advice. Would recommend to anyone looking to purchase.

Even if you think you don't need anything from here, you'll probably leave with something anyways! The biggest selection of everything outdoorsy.

This place blew my freaking mind I know it has a lot but seems like more and more every time I go in there, warm and inviting trappers cabin atmosphere- the smell - the fishing and hunting gear- all around amazing store a must stop shop for all outdoor enthusiasts

Amazing. My first time visiting the site and I had no idea how remarkably decorated and elaborate their interior was. So many taxidermy displays of all the wild Alberta animals it was really being my expectations. Definitely worth visiting the store just to see all the amazing displays.

My husband was there to buy a new hunting rifle today (my birthday gift to him) and was refused purchase because he asked his friend what he thought of the rifle, then was told he was doing a "straw purchase" and accused of buying the rifle for his friend. We will never shop there again, how embarrassing.

This store is absolutely incredible amazeballs if you have not stopped in to have a look around and do some shopping you are majorly missing out on one of the coolest things in Calgary!

There's a giant Aquarium of syllabus salmon and waterfalls and rivers and creeks and ponds and wildlife animals displayed all around this store it's absolutely huge and if you like the outdoors hunting fishing camping this is a fantastic place to get gear!

You can even buy boats and ATVs in this place dad and I had a blast I wish we had more time. We will be back!

Love this store for the variety but their customer service is absolutely terrible and specifically if you are buying ammo make sure you grab your own because if you don't check then they will sell you the wrong ammo and never let you know that they won't exchange it for you. Store is great but their staff suck.

A great (and very large) store for all of your outdoor needs. Plenty of selection and fair prices for almost anything related to the outdoors. Highly recommended.

The selection of gear and fishing lures was gravy, they had a bunch of stuff in stock no one had anywhere else, and the staff made my day thanks to Tunsill.

Bass Pro Shop is one of the most amazing stores I’ve ever been to. The amount of work that went into building the place is amazing. It’s like walking into a forest or a hunting lodge. There’s all sorts of different outdoor setups complete with stuffed animals that look like they’ve been taken right out of a nature film. They even have a huge fish take complete with waterfall and river. The store itself is huge with a massive selection of clothing, equipment and pretty much everything else you could ever ask for when it comes to the outdoors. The staff are fairly friendly and knowledgeable and the prices are reasonable compared to other similar stores. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for any sort of outdoor gear.

I just went in to buy a reel, and because they are kept behind the counter i had to get help from one of the sales people. Well it never happened. I wanted around the counter for at least 20 minutes and not one person even said hello or asked if I needed help. I figured they must be busy today so I walked around the fishing department a little bit. Besides myself there was two other customers.one was walking the isles and one at the counter.along with all the sales people. They seemed to just be chit chatting with no real care that I was at the same counter clearly needing assistance. Maybe because I'm not 50+ they just figured i wasn't worth the time to help but I was extremely frustrated and instead of spending the 150-200 I was planning on I walked away empty handed.

Ken in the fishing department was very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. My Mom and I came into the store to prepare for an upcoming ice fishing trip and Ken really went above and beyond answering all our questions, showing us how to identify the many varieties of fish we might expect to catch, and much more! As newbies to the sport of fishing, it can be rather intimidating to figure everything out and Ken did a fantastic job explaining the information we needed to know! Overall, Ken was an absolute pleasure to speak with and we left the store with a feeling of confidence! Great job, Ken! You rock!:)

Great restrooms. Spacious and clean. Attended well. Front door reception well received. Love visiting here. You can take your dog in, too. Access to mall, also. No dogs in the mall. Love the fireplace.

Cheery greeter, had one return, very friendly and efficient customer service and one purchase, cashier who was also friendly and efficient. Nice place to shop.

Was just in the bow hunting section looking for a bow for my son's 13th birthday; unfortunately we had to leave, as the sales guy was so rude and would not even provide us the type of service you should receive for such a purchase. He shared no knowledge, refused to fit the bow, or allow my son to test it. We're heading to Cabelas now. Hopefully they will welcome out purchases.

Got the same bow at Cabelas, the staff was far more knowlegable, allowed my son to test multiple bows to assure the right fit for him, and made sure the bow was all set up and sighted in. Far better experience and overall safer, when getting my son his first of many hunting tools.

What a beautiful place! Just look up and around. Bass Pro really created a fantastic view. Kudos to the designer. If you're looking for outdoor supplies, etc, this is the place to wander around. Moreover, they host a number of family-friendly events including Christmas Santa and Easter bunny photos and events. Great anchor store for Crossiron Mills!

This place is huge, even if you don't need anything it's worth going in to see all the stuff. They have a shooting gallery, a giant fish tank where you can watch them feed the fish, and all kinds of taxidermied animals.

We love coming here every weekend to look at the fish and grab a bite at the sandwich shop. There is great coffee and candied pecans here too! The fireplace is so cozy to sit beside in the winter and my daughter loves playing around the boats

Amazing! The atmosphere in this store is worth seeing all on its own. If you're not a fan of taxidermy, hunting amd fishing then steer clear but for the outdoorsy. This is the place for u. A monstrosity of a store with fabulous selection

This place is amazing. Every corner of this place catches your eyes. Its like a huge hunting lodge. All things great and small for hunting, camping, barbecuing, boating, clothing, decorating in hunting themes, gifts and much, much more. The ambiance is great, the store is clean and well lit. The staff is friendly and helpful. The sheer amount of still life wild animals is crazy and there are live trout to see in a huge holding tank. The products in the store are pricey but when you see what’s here you can get overwhelmed and hand over your money like nobody’s business. If you shop for sales you can get good deals. There is a fudge shop and a shooting gallery.

VERY DISAPPOINTED in the service we received! Not only were we not approached by any staff to see if we needed any help BUT treated very poorly at the checkout! No "hello", "please" or "thankyou". We did get a "have a nice night" but by then the mood was set.

The elevators were broke and I'm on crutches and they never informed any of their employees that there was an alternate way to get me upstairs to the gun section
