Needed a repair for an existing Bath Fitters tub, technician was fast and very knowledgeable. Great service providers.

All in all we are very pleased with the final result. Our Installer (Bryon) was on time, worked diligently and explained the process to our existing shower/tub enclosure. Our consultant (Joanne) was informed that the reason for the walk in shower was due to my inability to lift my leg over our tub. I asked how one would go about leg shaving etc, and she advised that there was a foot rest.
When the tower was installed, I noticed that the foot rest was quite high off the base, and confirmed this with the first shower.
Can this be removed (at no cost to us) and cut down to accommodate me? I feel that the consultation should have clued into this and suggested an alternative. It has been two (2) weeks since the install and feel that a follow-up call could have been made to see how we are enjoying our new enclosure. A $9,000 price tag for seniors or anyone is a good sum of money and a "thank you" would have been appreciated.

After we had done all of the major work on the wall even install the copper pipe all they had to do was connect the pipe put the tub in surround n install above tub roofing we have had them back at least 4 times and now again in Feb.if I had done some research and I had my time back we would’ve never used this company. By the time it’s all been said and done it cost us at least $20,000 with the time that my partner is taken off of work to do the wall to make sure it was done right. The cost of the overhead enclosure for the ceiling, the surround n mold of a tub was not worth the money. When we do our next one in the basement we will save thousands of dollars. The salesperson that came to our home basically said we had to sign on the dotted line and within 2 days after doing a lil looking I wanted to Cancel but, was told it was too late and the signature was there.

The Good:
It looks good, cleans easy and overall we are happy with the actual product that got installed. The people we have dealt with have been friendly and we have had our questions answered fairly promptly. 5 stars

The Bad:
-Finding about 5-6 dings in our walls from the installer bringing the unit into the house that required me puttying and painting to fix - couple minor ones and a couple were more obvious.minus 1 star
-The hardware they brought to initially install was all incorrect, both in finish and style. They installed it anyway so we could still use the tub/shower but we waited over 1 month for the hardware we originally ordered and an appointment for someone to install.minus 2nd star (this was explained to us to be a backorder issue)

-Well, they came again, the finish was correct this time but yet again not the correct showerhead (we ordered a sliding bar style with mobile showerhead) they brought the wrong thing again.minus 3rd star (this was explained by the installer as he couldn't read the numbers on the form and grabbed the incorrect product, which is fine at least there was transparency)

We will wait another few days for the correct hardware and the third time we've had an installer come - now installed and done promptly after one weekend. Updated one star back = 3 stars

Called today to book a consultation, but because I rent and the homeowner who lives out of province can’t be at the consultation they won’t help me. Makes me think that they push for a guaranteed purchase at the consultation. Oh well off to find someone to refinish the bathtub instead.

Removed old tub, installed new tub, installed new drain line, removed drywall, installed new drywall, installed new mixer valve, installed shower walls, installed new faucet set, all caulking.

Great experience from sales to installation. I love my new bathtub and shower area. I Will use bathfitter again for our other bathrooms in the future.
