BCMInns - Hinton

Very good place for its price. It was a good place overall, 10 out of 10 for its amenities. This place offers free breakfast and it has a pool and a gym. I had a very pleasant stay in this hotel.

We were exploring the Jasper area and Hinton was the nearest accommodation we could find at short notice, which is a bit remote for what we wanted. But the only wildlife we saw was on the drive between Hinton and Jasper. Result! We couldn’t have chosen a better place than the BCMI. The staff were so helpful, our rooms were generously sized, clean, well equipped and well serviced during our 4 day stay. I would certainly recommend BCMI to anyone wanting to stay in the area.

My family really enjoyed our stay. The place was clean and the breakfast was amazing!
Shout out to Casey and Kimberly who were wonderful hosts. It made our stay even better.

We were here for a wedding and this hotel was the friendliest and gave the best group rate compared to the 10 others I checked in Hinton. They made the planning so simple and when a couple last minute people had to cancel they didn’t charge them. The family suites were perfect for 4-6 people and all the rooms were clean and the staff was super friendly! I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We got married in the Hinton area at the end of July and stayed here. We originally booked a wedding block through another hotel but it was quite pricey so I decided to call BCMInns. They gave us a way better price for our wedding block and also comped mine and my husband's room (which they already generously upgraded us to a jacuzzi suite beforehand) for our whole stay! All of the staff were friendly and accommodating! All of our friends and family were more than happy with their stay here! We will definitely be staying here from now on when traveling through! Thank you again to everyone at BCMInns!

King suites are very spacious and well decorated. Toiletries include cotton swabs and more. Claire did an awesome job cleaning the rooms. Front desk people idk their names but pretty nice and friendly as well. Varied tasty AYCE breakfast options. Thanks

The service was friendly and helpful, the room was spotless, the bed was comfortable and the advertised continental breakfast turned out to include bacon, eggs, hash browns and pancakes. Located at the edge of town which suited us.

One of the best breakfasts I've had at a hotel, staff was friendly and accommodating, rooms were decently clean, updated, and affordable, wishing we had time to go relax in the hottub but we were trying to beat the blizzard. Next time! Thanks guys for the good stay.

Clean rooms not a bad breakfast friendly service access is great for hwy trucks rite beside hwy 16 definitely will stay here again.

The rooms are clean, the price was much better than Jasper hotels, the downside is that you are 80km away from Jasper

We didn't stay in the room but lady staff we chatted with were very friendly and there pool area is great nice pool&hotube and fun water slide super 8 could learn a few things from this company nice job we'll definitely rent a room here next time we're in town and definitely not super (stupid) 8.

Nice clean rooms and very comfortable beds. Very friendly and helpful staff. It was a real pleasure to stay there. Also, pleasantly surprised with the continental breakfast. Will be staying again.

We were super impressed with the cleanliness, the breakfasts and amenities (pool with slide, hot tub and free laundry incl soap, mini fridge in room, ice machine) at the motel. The staff was helpful and friendly, the check-in/out super fast and efficient.
We highly recommend this place.

The BCMI is nice. The rooms are a little antiquated, but are nice and comfortable, especially the beds. Their larger 2 bedroom rooms are two rooms put together; a smart idea. TVs are big, quiet on 4th floor. Pool was great, though it's shallow everywhere. I gave 5 stars because it was overall a very nice experience with nothing to complain about. You will have a nice stay.

Best hotel stay! Pool is not too cold and very shallow perfect for the little ones! Rooms are large and clean and can barely hear neighbours. Front desk staff are exceptional and there were even fresh cookies on check in! Would recommend to any family. Also great breakfast buffet and really hard working helpful kitchen staff!

We recently spent 3 nights at BCMInns in Hinton. We were extremely pleased with our entire time there. I would recommend booking directly with the hotel as you will get a better deal than trying on Expedia or other sites. When I booked our stay, I spoke to Gerry who is the Manager. He was awesome and got us a great room for 3 nights. All the front staff is courteous and go the extra mile to ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible. The room was very clean on upon arrival and the staff made sure it was clean and maintained everday! BCMI provides complimentary breakfast and it is a great assortment of food items for everyone. The pool, laundry and fitness facilities are an excellent addition as we used the complimentary laundry facilities a few times. There is a Walmart nearby in case you need to buy groceries and other supplies. Hinton is about an hour from Jasper National Park and other sights - the hour does not seem that long because of the breathtaking scenery on your drive. It is totally worth looking into booking at BCMInn in Hinton! My highest recommendation! Speak to Gerry and he will take care of you!

Great big rooms, comfortable bed, all very clean. The staff was super friendly. Breakfast had lots of choices and the pool with waterslide was my son's favorite part of the stay. Can only recommend this hotel. When we're in Jasper area again in the future, will definately book this hotel in Hinton again.

Stayed here for the night. The staff were amazing and very accommodating. The suite we stayed in had a kitchenette, full fridge, ac and separate rooms! If your on a family road trip and want a clean, safe and spacious place to stay that wont break the bank this is your best bet in Hinton. Highly recommend these folks. We will for sure be back next time!

We stayed at the BCMI Hinton a few weeks ago. Kenzie booked our room and she cleaned it, very spotless Kenzie was very informative and cheerful. Tanya and Christine were also very helpful. These 3 could answer any questions we had.thank you and we will be staying here again.

BCMI Inn Hinton was twice the hotel for the money for us! The room was spacious, clean, and with all the modern amenities we expected. The fridge had a freezer which was specially helpful for us. The staff was awesome and super helpful! The check-in and check-out experience was as good as it can be. The location is very good, it's just an hour from Jasper. Though we did not use the pool we noticed people enjoying it. The food at the breakfast was fresh and had a wide variety. There was ample free parking in the property. I would highly recommend the hotel if anyone is looking for one in Hinton.

Rooms are big, as we had a room with two queen beds. Beds are so comfortable, pillows a bit thick for us but this is personal. Breakfast was included and indeed it was a saving for our expenses, you can find different plates (bacin, burgers, potatoes, broken eggs, cereals, toast, bagels, pancakes) but basic ones. Staff are very kind and effective. We really enjoy our stay.

If you are planning to stay in Hinton, this is the hotel you should check first! An amazing and friendly staff, great breakfast, clean rooms…you get best bang for the buck. I stayed there with my family for the Heritage Day long weekend and had a wonderful experience. I should once again mention the hospitality provided by the staff. It was very welcoming.

If I could give negative review, I would. Simply the worst stay of my life. Pay extra and stay at another place. I was given a key of a room where some people were already sleeping. Awful for both us and the people who woke up to some strangers walking into their room. The receptionist was extremely rude and unprofessional. We were a big group with multiple rooms and we all have our own horrible experiences. They are also not clear on Expedia they have a motel and hotel sections. The price is identical and easy to book into a wrong place only to find out once you get there.

The staff was awesome, friendly, helpful, the rooms were clean. The kids loved the pool waterslide and i enjoyed the hottub.the family suite was excellant the kids had lots of room to play. The rates were reasonable for what was offered (ie: the amenities and the continental breakfast was a bonus …. Happy to have stayed here!

The included breakfast is incredibly good and the staff are nice. The pillows/beds are actually really comfy, which I find rare in hotels. Hot tub was under service during my stay.

The room was very clean, the bed super comfortable. Hot breakfast was a plus but what made my stay such a pleasure was the friendly staff!

Clean rooms but there are renovations going on with paint and overall messy state which I'm sure was due to it being spring break and the Reno's.

Had a bad experience a few years ago with double charging me. Even then staff were great and motel was super clean with a very nice bed

Very friendly staff that went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. They even switched out our swim time so we could go earlier. Extra blankets and toiletries as requested without having to wait.

Used to be much cleaner and cozy. Night lady is very nice however. Free breakfast wasnt much, toast n fruit but better than nothing

Booked me into a pet friendly suite on extremely short notice, Room was clean, beds were comfy. Check in/out was seamless and friendly. Had to leave on short notice and the staff were extremely accommodating. Will definitely be staying at this hotel again when staying I'm Hinton.

Such a wonderful hotel! Greeted with smiling eyes (mask…lol) and a professional personality. Happily upgraded us to a sunny top floor room. Followed pool guidelines while going above and beyond our expectations. A great water slide and pool, temperatures perfect for our seven year old. Two quiet nights stays, great housekeepers and a clean breakfast area to take up to room. Bedding, shower curtain and towels just like new and walls and carpet fresh and clean. A five star stay! Thank you all staff at BCMINNS Hinton! A real team effort shows. We look forward to our next stay.

My family and I stayed four nights at the BCM Inns Hinton. Our experience exceeded our expectations by a large amount. Hinton is a small town 70 kms away from Jasper National Park and may be the perfect location to save in accommodation when paying the full Jasper-experience prize is.not an option. The indoor pool with slide is the perfect setup for families with kids. The rooms themselves were super clean. The staff was super friendly during our stay. I recommend it to anyone visiting Jasper

Rooms were very clean and comfortable, chromecast on the tv, staff was very friendly, 45 minutes to jasper, town has everything you need right there. Was able to check in early and received a free upgrade.

Very clean, good pool and slide for kids, service was amazing from all staff especially the manager.

My family spent a few days in the area and we chose this hotel bc.of the reviews, pool, price and proximity to Jasper. I came equipted with sanitizing wipes, our own pillows and after we checked out the room, it all stayed in the car. The room, beds, bathroom, carpet was clean. It was quiet at night, the black out drapes were perfect. My kids loved the pool and the slide, I tried it too, it's super fast, but safe and fun. There is also a nicely equipted gym but we didn't go. Breakfast bar was always well stocked with everything you need. ALL the people we met incl.the front desk, the manager and the cleaning ladies are super friendly and helpful. You will also meet workers who work up north staying here, my kids loved seeing a few dogs passing by in the lobby and it's definitely a place for families and kids. I'm happy we found this hotel and it will be our a place to go when we visit Jasper again. Thank you.

Nice place, clean rooms, helpful staff, fun quick water slide and the best part is you can sit in the hot tub and easily see the entire pool including where the slide enters the pool.

The change room door for men needs repair. My son got stuck for 20 mins.
The breakfast is very, very pathetic. And they dont bother to replenish whatever little is served.

Poor cleanliness, dirty sheets and pillowcases - poses potential health risks, expecially in covid 19 situation.

The staff at the front desk were extremely friendly, kind and helpful. The manager, Dave, was incredible! He was so accommodating, he helped us with our trailer while we found a room at the hotel due to the smoke and air quality issues. The continental breakfast is delicious and has a variety of foods. The rooms are so clean, comfortable beds and I felt like it was a home away from home. Thank you again!

We have stayed here a few times already and have never had a problem. Absolutely love it. The rooms are very clean, the staff are very friendly. The continental breakfast is open again and was very good and very clean. Will definitely stay again.

Pool and hottub was disgusting. Horrible service from staff. Zero parking for guests. Easy to say this place is a dump. Recommend staying somewhere else if you can.

Customer service could improve. Water main broke, wasn't offered anywhere to shower. I called front desk she said the town didn't have water but when I called hotel beside us, theirs water was fine. An apology for inconvenience would have been nice. Workers also could brush up on customer service. 2 staff had inappropriate conversations about masterbation in front of my six year old whilst waiting for the elevevator. Breakfast had individually wrapped bagels and French toast. Cereal. Community milk jug. Individual yogurt, banana and orange. Room was big. Lots of plug outlets. Thin walls. Bed sheets smelled like smoke. Outdated and could be cleaner. I would not recommend this place.

Dave and his staff are fantastic! Everyone is so helpful and the rooms are very well maintained. Great rates too!

Great little place to stay. Rooms was larger than expected. Nice to have a separate bedroom in our suite. Kitchen was well equipped. Accommodated family of 4 (2 kids) and 2 dogs no problem. Breakfast was even included in the price. Staff were friendly and helpful when we needed something. Pool was nice and shallow, perfect for kids. Much more affordable cost for a family compared to staying in Jasper. Thank you! We'll be back!

They were really short staffed and the pool was closed - not their fault but it sucked. The staff was working hard but they were stretched thin - I'm sure they're just trying to make it right now. Their breakfast was amazing and the family rooms are perfect!

This was a nice place but it's a motel and having cars right outside the door can be loud at times. The room was clean. We didn't have any complaints. Main point of writing this though is to say, if you stay in places that are close to but not in a national park like Jasper, you’ll usually save a lot of money. And the extra drive isn’t always a negative. During one of our commutes coming from Jasper, we saw a white wolf running in the tree line along the side of the highway. Further down we also saw some mountain goats on a rocky hill close to the road. Hinton is a decent size town as small towns go and has all manner of services. Their BCMI motel worked very well for us

The best continental breakfast I've ever had! Staff was friendly, rooms very clean. The pool and hot tub are small but perfect for relaxing in the evening especially if you have kids. No deep end, no worries!

We stayed here for 2 nights and the staff was very friendly and accomodating. The kids enjoyed the breakfast in the morning. The only downfall was that they didn't have any cots. They did offer to bring us extra blankets though.

Loved this hotel! We will be back. Our room was beautiful. Comfortable bed. Huge mini fridge. Glad we upgraded to the jacuzzi because we used it both nights. Breakfast was the best we've ever had in a hotel! Hot items were delicious. Eggs, sausage, pancakes. Was perfect for getting our days started. Thank you to the staff for making our stay one of the best we've ever had.

Excellent motel with a pretty decent breakfast included. My kids loved the waterslide because the establishment just had it waxed. Every room had individual WiFi as well, and was neat and clean. For under $150 a night with breakfast for the whole family, this place is really hard to beat. Will stay here again!

A real dissapointment. New ownership and the place has gone down. Straight down. Staff will not go out of their way to be friendly or helpful. Stuck us in the building next door, which must have been a former smoking room. It smelt like smoke. The parking lot you almost needed a 4x4 the potholes are so deep.
Serious safety concerns with fire doors propped open. Keep driving past this place, I am sure that it will be a news story in the future and not for good reasons.

Very accommodating hotel. The staff members were all very friendly! Especially, Richard, the breakfast attendant.he was great and had an amazing positive personality! The breakfast had eggs and various hot food choices, we looked forward to it every morning.
Fyi. That bowl of white cream sitting on ice is in fact sour cream, not whipped cream, you should not put it on your pancakes. Learnt this the hard way.lol

Very noisy at night due to the window too thin while a lot of truck overnight. Moreover the room not daily clean or exchange towel until complaint in front desk.

The hotel is pleasantly clean with smiling staff as you enter. The front lobby is decorated nicely with updated paintings. You can even grab some free popcorn from the popcorn maker in the lobby - with free ketchup seasonings for your popcorn.
Cassie at the front desk is very friendly, has a bright pretty smile to greet you at the hotel.
Ruel the gentleman that looks after the breakfast, makes the BEST potato, cheese, sausage and green onion scramble. It is worth staying at this hotel just for the breakfast. Ruel was also serving the freshly cooked bacon to all the tables, went out of his way to provide extra grapefruit for my mom as she loves grapefruit. He is fun to talk to and joke around with.
The rooms don’t have a weird odour to them, they have two free shampoos and one conditioner with two bar soaps.
The beds are clean, comfortable and well taken care of. Breakfast is the best part! Open from 5 am - 10 am, to can find broiled eggs, yogurt, cereal, bread, bagels, pancakes, cheesy hash browns, regular potato hash browns, scrambled eggs, bacon, oatmeal, orange, apple, grapefruit & cranberry juice, 8 kinds of teas & coffee, apples, grapefruit and bananas! It’s amazing and the staff are constantly restocking the food and cleaning the tables.
I highly recommend visiting this hotel if you’re visiting Jasper or Hinton area.

They have a swimming pool as well. I didn’t get the chance to use it. I would love to go there again

We stayed at the bcmi Hinton on May 31. We stopped at an I formation centre in Lloydminster and they mentioned the bcmi chain. We went right into the first bcmi we saw and had them book ahead for us for the Hinton hotel. What a surprise they were both places we’re extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Our stay in Hinton far surpassed any hotel we stayed at across Canada from Sudbury ontario. The price point was good. The hotel was super clean, rooms were also clean, comfortable and inviting. Our breakfast food was fresh and hot, not that reheated frozen stuff.
This was the best experience we had had in a long while. I wish there were more of these hotels on our trip.

Nice little hotel rooms were clean.internet worked gr8 because in most parts of jasper area you are not online. This one had little swimming pool also had a little slide for kids breakfast was good too I would highly recommend it if you are unable to find any place to stay in jasper its woth 40 min drive to this city

We had a lovely stay here while visiting Jasper National Park. We really enjoyed the staff, and found everyone to be extremely friendly and helpful. We also loved the breakfast- it was one of the best hotel breakfasts we've had. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. A great stay!

Our stay here was great because the service was good especially the guy at the front desk named Ruel. The price is cheap and water slide was great. The rooms were clean and we will stay there again.
