Very impressed with Warren and the rest of the Beachcomber staff. Genuinely want to help with managing water chemistry and not just about selling as much chemical as possible. The free water testing that they do at every location is a huge benefit. Would definitely recommend Beachcomber to anyone looking for a hot tub.

I want to express my extreme disappointment with Beachcomber hot tubs and their complete lack of satisfactory customer service. It has been a frustrating and regrettable experience dealing with this company.

Firstly, they sent a technician as a supposed courtesy, but this individual barely spent five minutes on-site. All he did was turn on the jets to see if there were any visible issues. When he didn't immediately spot anything, he simply dismissed the problem by stating it must be inside the tub. This kind of negligent and superficial inspection is unacceptable.

Since day one, we have encountered nothing but problems with this tub. It is incredibly disheartening to invest in a product only to have it fail repeatedly. We have been forced to replace parts on a yearly basis, which is not only inconvenient but also an unnecessary financial burden.

To make matters worse, the stereo built into the tub was poorly designed. The keys for the stereo were inexplicably placed on the outside of the tub, resulting in extensive sun fading. As a result, the stereo has become completely useless. This lack of attention to detail and poor design choice is absolutely frustrating.

Furthermore, we have discovered numerous plastic pieces on the inside of the tub that are disintegrating. This is a clear indication of subpar craftsmanship and quality control. It is completely unacceptable for a hot tub to experience such deterioration within a short period of time.

Overall, I am thoroughly disappointed with Beachcomber hot tubs. Their lackluster customer service, frequent issues, and design flaws have made this an incredibly frustrating and regrettable purchase. I urge others to reconsider before investing in a Beachcomber hot tub, as the quality and support provided by this company have been far from satisfactory. Since Glen left your location the service is dramatically worsened.

Great service. Our salesperson, Melissa, is such an asset to this company! She is a gem! No pressure, just there to assist you in your decision. She goes above and beyond.helping us to find the right spa to meet our specific needs, explaining the differences with all the different choices available to buy and even answering texts and calls on her days off! Service department responded to our phone call immediately and quickly resolved a minor issue for us. We just received our hot tub so I can't review that at this time but I am certain we will enjoy it for years to come. And the prices are very reasonable for the quality, considering Beachcomber is rated as one of the top 5 Canadian spa companies. Very impressed

Beachcomber has the the worst warranty repair I have ever had to deal with. It has now been a year since I booked a warranty repair for a leak and no one has come to repair it. Every time I call they only say there is a back log of other leak repairs ahead of me. Clearly this shows beachcombers tubs leak often and they don’t staff enough service techs to keep up with their faulty builds. I do not recommend buying one of their tubs as their service department is very poor.

We bought a Hybrid hot tub and a expensive fire table from Beachcomber.
We are happy with our tub.
The fire table is another issue.
The top of the fire table from the second season has flaked off, we have sanded it and sealed it many times. I Contacted them and their response was. Get this.
It was not made to put up with OUR weather? Really? Please think twice before you buy

I have had two beachcomber hot tubs over the last 20 years. First one I sold with our last house, second one is still working. Great hot tubs, great quality. As things age things break and last week I had a small sensor fail. I called the westend location and Savannah walked me through the trouble shooting process, had the part ready for me at the store and helped me again over the phone to fix the issue. She was absolutely amazing! Thanks Savannah for all your help and thanks Beachcomber Edmonton (both westend and southside stores) for always providing great service, support, and products.

Update.well three years after my first review, our 19 year old Beachcomber Hot Tub needed another repair. As there was a backup in service calls I called an electrician to see if he could find the problem. He decided that it was the circuit board, which he could replace himself. Well, the board was over 500 dollars, not returnable, and so I decided to wait for the service call. The wait was frustrating but these days not uncommon. Finally Lisa came out and quickly diagnosed the problem and replaced the flow switch which had failed. This was a 90 dollar part, and with service it was a $244 repair and not the $750 one I expected! This alone made the wait worth it.
Lisa was fantastic, not only in her quick diagnosing and repair of the problem but also took the time to give me valuable tips on hot tub maintenance and troubleshooting. Thanks Lisa you were great. Also a big thankyou to Savannah for your wonderful customer support and patience. Beachcomber service has a great team, excellent service in both the store and in the field.
If you need repairs I would highly recommend letting the experts deal with it.saved me a lot of $$$$$ Cheers

I cannot praise Beachcomber hot tubs, staff and service department any higher. Finally after 16 years we actually had to have our first service professional come out and repair our hot tub! 16 years and not a problem! How Good is that? We had a hush pump changed and now it's like new. All you people who think you're getting a better deal elsewhere, you're not. We use our hot tub daily, 12 months a year, rain snow or sun. Thanks to Val and Devon from service and all the staff at the 118th Ave Beachcomber. We love our Hot Tub.

My husband and I visited this location this past Saturday on a whim. We have a very small area to place a hot tub and wanted to see what was out there. We were immediately greeted by the sweetest salesperson, Melissa - and let me tell you, it was so nice to be served as customers, not ignored because we are young like other places have done (and continue to do). We were blown away by the information that Melissa passed on to us, she was so incredibly knowledgeable and gave us a completely different perspective on what possibilities there were out there for us! We haven't purchased yet, as we have some homework to do first, but we will 100% be back to see Melissa as soon as we've gotten our space figured out. Thank you for such great service, we truly appreciate it!

I was skeptical of buying a hot tub as I have eczema, and every public pool/hot tub i have used has flared it up. But after some research I chalked it up to high levels of chloramines, and off we went to buy a hot tub. I figured at least the wife and kids would enjoy it if i couldnt use it regularly.then our salesman Randy assured me the Mineraluxe program would be fine with my eczema. To my disbelief he was correct, and the mineraluxe system has actually helped my eczema. Theres a noticable difference when i use the hot tub regularly. Havent had a flare since i started using the hot tub. I would and have reccomended the system to family and friends, as well as Randy as he was super helpful and accomadating with the selection and delivery of the hot tub. Loving the hot tub!

Bought our first hot tub at the Sherwood Park location! Cindy was excellent. Very informative without being pushy. We had lots of questions about various hot tubs and what was needed to install our new hot tub in our new house build coming up over the next half year. She made sure to keep us updated throughout our build and when best to purchase. And even managed to get us a hot tub sooner than expected! We've had our hot tub for just over a month now and are loving it:)

We’ve been trying to get our hot tub serviced now since December. Understandably the weather was an issue, however it was a month since the original service guy came to look and then we heard nothing about a part he “ordered”.

We called to check and they said, oh he quit and we’ll have to restart the process since he didn’t take any notes.

The new person who came to check said they would arrive on this date, then decided nope, and we didn’t even get a call.

It’s been a constant headache trying to arrange times since they don’t even call beforehand to ensure we’re home and the technician just calls to say he is on his way, with no warning.

I am so frustrated with the lack of professionalism and customer service we’ve experienced, and with no apologies for their bad behaviour. We are still experiencing this nightmare and it is now almost the end of April.

I would stay far away from this company if you want to use your hot tub sooner rather than later.

Bought a beachcomber hot tub 4 years ago. We enjoy the hot tub so much. Recently we had a service issue with our hot tub and Beachcomber has gone above and beyond to help fix the issue of our hot tub that is still under warranty. It’s great to know beachcomber stands behind their product. Lisa the service person was BEYOND amazing on such a cold windy day…. AMAZING! I recommend anyone to purchase their hot tub from beachcomber!

I ordered online, there was an issue with the freezing of the liquids, due to the freezing temps we have up in Northern Canada.beachcomber rectified it quickly and provided a full credit for those items! It's awesome to have such great customer service and etiquette nowadays - THANK YOU!

I recently went to the Westside store after receiving an email describing a for Bromine. I could not make heads or tails of what the prices were as not all the shelves had prices displayed. I went and paid for the product but was shocked at the $108 price for a 2 litre jug. I have been buying from Beachcomber since purchasing a tub in 2019 and never experience such a price. I was advised that prices had went up but I could not remember paying over $80 in the past. After thinking about the price I requested a refund and complained about advertising a sale, not clearly displaying prices is deceiving I did speak to apparently a manager of some sort as they processed my refund. He too explained that the prices have gone up as most things have but I could still not account for the huge increase. I complained about how advertising a sale and not listing the prices may not be in accordance with the provinces business rules. I even commented on the idea this tactic reminds me of the old bait and switch philosophy where you get me in the door with the incentive of saving money but you actually get me to pay more.

I feel you need to properly identify the prices of your products in the store as well as your web site. I received a refund and went to Sundance Spa and was more upset when I received a 2 litre jug of Bromine for $74 dollars. Needless to say, I will never come back to Beachcombers. I would have given you 0 stars but that is not an option so I will give the 1 star for the cleanliness of your store.

I purchased my Leep hot tub from Melissa last year & had it delivered a week ago due to delays with the pandemic. Melissa always kept me up to date on delivery & was able to arrange delivery around my busy schedule.
After delivery Melissa arrived to explain how to maintain the tub & answer any questions I had.
I have considered buying a hot tub for many years & truly have Melissa to thank! She is awesome to deal with & provides a high level of customer service with no pressure! She was always available to answer questions & always had my best interest at heart.
Melissa is the reason I finally decided to buy a hot tub & I would definitely recommend her to anyone!

We received our tub, and even with the current wait times we couldn’t be happier. Delivery and set up was super efficient and felt very supported. Jeri even called on her day off to make sure that I had everything I needed. Can’t say enough great things about the service or product!

With not being able to travel and being stuck at home, we decided to purchase a hot tub! Our friends referred us to Beachcomber after their positive experience. Jeri was very friendly and helpful - and even with limited in store stock due to everyone wanting a hot tub - we felt very taken care of and it was a fun and super easy time purchasing our hot tub! It’s so nice to know exactly what you are getting with no hidden costs, and with super friendly and knowledgeable staff! Thanks Jeri!

After 10 mos waiting due to covid-finally have our new tub! Great pricing for first responders-can’t be beat. Customer service lacking as didn’t update throughout for expected date. I had to keep asking every 3-4 mos when new expected date would be. Now that I have our tub-first world problems. LOVE it! So pretty, clean, and fills up fast, heats up fast, helps beat heat in hot summer. Thank you Beachcomber!

We just moved in to our place that has a hot tub - Shawn the tech came out to service it and taught me exactly how to use it - what chemicals to put in, etc. He was on time, efficient, and answered all my questions. He was a pleasure to work with and would recommend Beachcomber to anyone.

They know what they service and sell. Once we bought our Hot Tub from them, we have not missed more than 2 days of not being in it since October. Even better in the snow and cold! Can't believe we did not do this sooner! Helpful staff for water care and tips post sale as well. So not a one and done customer service experience.

What a sad excuse for a retail store. Been shopping for a hot tub for months and entered this store two times. Never to be helped by a single person on both occasions. Walked around and all the sales people are standing around doing nothing ignoring me or on their cellphones. Not to mention a dirty and dusty store. I don't know how this place competes with online companies and other hot tub sellers in the city.

Great Hot Tubs! I just moved my 18 year old Beachcomer Hot Tub to the lake and bought another Beachcomer Hot Tub for home.
The service and fine delivery to detail was out standing. Corrine insured everything went smooth from the purchase to the delivery.
I would recommend a Beachcomer tub to anyone!

We absolutely love our Beachcomber Hot Tub. My wife and I were a bit intimidated by the process, but Glen took the time to explain everything and make sure we got exactly what we wanted.

The only complaint I have is that it takes about 6 weeks for them to build and ship your tub. But it was worth the wait.

Where do I begin. Glen and the team at Beachcomber have been amazing. Helpful, understanding, patient, accommodating, friendly, supportive, informative, and very kind. Glen knows his tubs like the back of his hand. He is informative and thorough. He was never once unwilling to show us (for the third or more time) how the Jets work or answer the same question twice. Most of all they make buying a hot tub a positive experience. This company goes the extra mile in special cases where extra support is needed. If your thinking about purchasing a hot tub I would recommend stopping by Beachcomber first. You won't be disappointed! Thank you Beachcomber for all the ongoing support.

Stated on their website “we’ll match any competitors part prices on identical parts. ” This is not the case. I showed the parts department a competitors prices on waterway pump parts and they refused to match. Pay there marketed up prices or leave. Do your homework homeowners.

My family has always wanted a hot tub and we have been shopping around the many Edmonton locations and choices for the past two years. I found that Beachcomber had the friendliest staff and the most welcoming showrooms around. The hot tubs are by far the most stylist around and are extremely efficient. The sales staff (Michael) was knowledgably, professional and personable.he answered every question and gave us a great price. Never did he "bash" the competition and showed us why we should consider Beachcomber hot tubs. On initial start up we had an issue with the breaker tripping constantly, Edmonton put me in contact with a tech (Luke) at the manufacturer plant in BC. He provided me with his cell number and walked me through everything to rule out that it was NOT the hot tub issue.turned out to be a faulty breaker in the spa box. We recently had friends over that own a newer Sun Ray.they have had three leaks so far and are truly disappointed. They wished the would have purchased a Beachcomber, stating it was way more comfortable. The customer appreciation days held by Beachcomber are an amazing way to welcome new owners. Thanks to the Beachcomber staff who made this purchase easy and relaxing. Cheers!

I like that they have the products with prices on the website, don't like that some of the wording is misleading. Like that there wasn't high pressure sales, didn't like that the salesperson never followed up with me when they said they would, lied to me, and made the buying experience (from purchase through install) more stressful than it needed to be. When I am spending thousands of dollars, I expect decent service.

I called about a gazebo curtain. I was told one could be special oredered for me and was suggested to come to the store and view the one on the showroom floor gazebo. I agreed and drove all the way to the west end location from north St Albert.
Got to the store, walked around a bit and no one approached me to offer assistance. So after measuring the gazebo curtain and feeling it would fit on my current gazebo, I then walked to the guy on the cash register. He didnt seem to eager to assist me. I told him I was there for the curtain and he told me “I cant sell you one! ” Another older gentleman was on the other cash register and said he was the person on the phone who I spoke with and said to the younger cash attendant that ordered them before. The young fella told him that you have to own that type of gazebo or they cant sell you one.

I wasnt offered anything but a “sorry about that” from the older gentlemen but the younger one didnt seem to care much or even offer any assistance like “did you try this store” or let me get my manager and see if we can do anything!

You would figure that since I was suggested to drive there that they would try at least to accomadate me.
Im sure if an employee wanted the curtain they would find a way to get one!

Poor service here folks, wasnt made to feel like a valued cutomer! Try another place, wasted my time!

If we could give a 6 star review we would. We bought our Beachcomber Hot Tub when we moved to our acreage 16 years ago. We use it daily and now that we have retired sometimes we use it twice a day. We have only had one minor problem which was handled the next day by a Beachcomber technician. We have been happy to recommended Beachcomber to friends and family who were contemplating purchasing a Hot Tub. We use Beachcomber for all our chemicals and have found the staff to be extremely helpful and friendly.

Pretty disappointing service. The short male salesman at the front is quite rude and very short. The service department is extremely slow at resolving any issues you might have with your tub. I would not recommend this location to anyone EVER!

Got them to price match a Napoleon BBQ from BBQ Country. Beach comber staff were Quick to take my money for a deposit. Informed me delivery would be early spring 2019. And then couple days later tell me they cannot get the BBQ and offered me a refund. Was told by the staff the BBQ is discontinued and a new model was being made for 2019 and price would be going up and no discount/compensation would be given on newer model. Staff was friendly but complete waste of my time.

a long now " The Dream" right.
1 yr ago I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis in both hips @ 46 yrs
now waiting for both to be replaced, the chronic pain is so bad,
we heard how hydrotherapy could help with my pain so I did some online research and now needed to go window shopping, we walk into beachcombers and was greeted by Kelly immediately he asked a few question and we started looking, the first 5 we looked at I couldn't even step into it because of my hips, not once did we think about that being a issue but it was, Kelly Found us the perfect hottub to get in and out of even set up a safety handle to show how safe I can get in and out, made me try it all out, it was perfect.
Well that day we bought our first hottub at the first store great service really took care of my needs, alse set me up with Mike from Frontline Contracting to install the 220 that was excellent service and great price, aswell nice clean work, hottub arrived a few days early all set up looks great feels great

Went into the store to see what they had to offer and was extremely happy with the information that was offered. Ryan who works on the store on 99th street was fully informative without being pushy or trying to sell us. The info he provided convinced me to look into the brand further and after going to several other outlets for their perspectives, my wife and I purchased our first hot tub here. Everything so far has been as promised and even to the point of overdelivering on some items! Currently a very happy and satisfied customer. A+
