Front end was friendly and overall they had a very welcoming atmosphere. My appointment and tests went smoothly and the ladies that helped were absolutely wonderful.
I was dealing with severe lower back pain due to a severely herniated disc. The staff at Beam continuously went above and beyond with their help navigating me through this journey. Thank you for all you do! The staff and equipment used are top notch. The Radiologists always take time to explain any procedure and answer any questions
Came in for a couple xrays and an ultrasound. Staff was amazing from the front desk to the technicians and the radiologist who came in after to review the ultrasound results. The best experience I've had at a radiology facility in Calgary. My husband also has a great experience here 6 months or so ago. Keep it up!
I have nothing but great things to say about this new radiology clinic after my first visit. The front desk staff was welcoming and cheerful, and the waiting room was large, bright and comfortable. The tech who did my ultrasound, Svetlana, was friendly, efficient and gave very clear information about when/how I would receive the results. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. I would definitely suggest this location to anyone needing these services.
Brutal company. I need to book an appointment for a mammogram, so I called to book it. She answered the phone, and was giggling.then told me I needed to send an email to book an appointment.weird but ok. So I send an email requesting an appointment & attached my requisition to it. It's been 9 days and NO response. Clearly they don't take their business seriously.
Today I had a 3: 00pm appointment with Dr. Clerk for cervical injections. I arrived at the Trinity Hills location more than 15 minutes before my appointment time. I stood in front of the desk where 4 or 5 receptionists ignored me for many minutes, they all 'seemed' very busy (no-one said "I'll be with you soon") so feeling totally invisible I sat down, not wanting to stand for longer. Eventually I went back to the desk with my AHS card and had to request attention. After changing into a gown I was led to sit in a waiting area for over half an hour until I was called to a room where the assistant informed me that Dr. Clerk was tied up in Ultrasound and running late so I would see Dr. Patel who turned out to be very dismissive of my hands issue which was the reason my family physician had referred me. He performed the injections in my neck which took about 3 minutes. After waiting a short time in the rest area I was released All in all over an hour and a half later. Not a great experience for someone anxious about neck injections and hoping for some relief.
I wanted them to do an assessment because the location of the injection didn't make sense and the symptoms the nurse described was not the symptoms I was having. In short I left without the injection because they said they need permission from my doctor on a requisition. I spoke to my doctor about it and she assured it was on there and she will send them another one. Beam Radiology phoned me again to make an appointment I asked if this is for the assessment he said no that was not on the requisition. Went back to my doctor who said it was and will send another one with a signature beside it. When I phoned to make an appointment I asked if the requisition had it and she replied no. I explained my frustration and told her that the doctor even signed next to it. She then said oh she sees it now but will have to get back to me because it was missed. When I explained my frustration she said that the fax was not very clear. That is an excuse. When I explained to her about the location on the requisition she then found it. I am tired of excuses. I told her that I will not be coming in. How do I trust Beam Radiology to do a proper assessment and put needles in me when they are unable to properly read a requisition. The hole experience was very disappointing and that level of incompetence is unacceptable.
1st time visiting this radiology clinic for an ultrasound. The facility is brand new. Staff was helpful and cheerful. The washroom is clean and looks like you are in a restaurant.
I had a cortisone shot in my knee today. I have had many injections, but this one was absolutely painless. Thank you Dr Clerk and Kayla for your excellent work. Beautiful facility as well with wide hallways and large rooms
This was my first visit to Beam for a cortisone injection and I was really impressed with the friendliness of all the staff and also the detailed instructions that were explained to me to follow at home instead of just getting handed a piece of paper which is what has been my past experience at other places. This location is beautiful and clean, not to mention quite large and very organized. A very pleasant experience and will definitely return.
I’ve gotten 3 cortisone injections from previous docs and it’s always been horrifically painful. Beam radiology did an amazing job and I felt absolutely nothing but pressure of the fluid going into my wrist. The flare up wasn’t even horrible and extremely manageable! I would highly recommend going to them over anyone else.
I waited for an hour, first had exrays then waited for my treatment, I left never received it. Maybe they could stop chatting, visiting and fixing eachothers hair and get to WORK. I had left a rating of 2 stars originally but 2 men kept calling me until I changed it to 5. I believe one was a owner and not sure about the other.
I am very grateful to have been referred here. The facility is modern and high tech, and the staff were friendly, professional, and caring. I had a fairly uncomfortable procedure and the staff did everything they could to make me as comfortable as possible. Special shout out to Nurse Shelley and of course Dr. Clerk. Calgary is lucky to have this facility.
Amazing! Wow Beam has changed my life:)! So grateful for Dr Oliver Clerk whom fixed a 30 year old fractured vertebrae:) and a 10 year old one as well as a new fracture, this has been life changing so grateful to the team! Can not thank you enough! So glad there are people who continue to strive in the medical field in an extraordinary quest learn and make humans feel better to have quality of life / love you folks
I was asked to arrive at 2: 30 pm for a 3 pm appointment. It’s been an hour and I haven’t seen anyone yet. Really glad I took extra time off work to sit in your fancy waiting room.
