Beaners Fun Cuts For Kids

We went to the St. Albert beaners for my 3 year old son's haircut twice! He us autistic and has some sensory sensititvites! Fallon did an amazing job getting him to feel safe and comfortable. He was smiling and giggling the whole time.the haircut looks great too!

Went with my 16 month old for a haircut and Iv been to this location a couple times previously with him but today we were Sienna and she was absolutely amazing. She gave him an amazing cut, took her time, talked to him throughout the whole process, showed him every tool and was so patient with him! Out of the four times I have been there she is the only one to use product and show me the product used so I can purchase! I will only be booking with her from now on!

Sienna P Was amazing with my son! She was so bubbly and cut his hair perfect! Even with how wiggly he was, I would highly recommend her! The main spot everyone misses is around his ears and she made this haircut more than perfect one happy momma!

I wanted to take the time to write a review about the amazing service we receive at Beaners, St. Albert location, specifically with Renata. Our four year old son has autism and until we found Renata we were cutting his hair at home as we were unable to find someone who he felt comfortable with. Renata goes above and beyond every time. She is very caring, calm, and accommodating to our son's needs. She always gives him some time to become familiar with the salon environment before welcoming him to sit in the salon chair (aka car or seat of his choice). She provides toys and television to accommodate his sensory needs. One day when the salon was more busy than usual and he was a little nervous she was still able to cut his hair while he stood away from the other children getting their haircut. She is even able to use the clippers on him no problem. We have also used her to style our daughter's hair and she did a wonderful job. We are so grateful to have found Renata and know that she will be our forever stylist. Highly recommend her, you won't be disappointed.

Highly recommend Fallon! My son had his first hair cut and was not a fan to say the least! Fallon was quick and produced an amazing haircut even with all of the flailing and screaming. We will be back for sure

We went to Beaners for our babies first haircut. It was an amazing experience. The hairstylist Emily made our baby comfortable by utilizing desensitization techniques with the clippers prior to starting. She was able to work swiftly and was so calm despite her customer being a wiggly guy. Overall this was a great place for children to get their haircut and I will continue to utilize them in the future.

Fallon at Beaners St. Albert is the absolute best! My son looks forward to his haircuts with her. She does an amazing job blending and texturizing his hair.

The young woman who cut my son’s hair was super sweet and bubbly. She did a great job and made him feel comfortable and happy. He was excited to have some washable colour in his hair for fun too!

It was amazing the ladies were awesome my son has sensory issues and is usually a nightmare to get his hair cut and we forsure can never use the machine. Not only did he use the machine the ladies had him laughing and we were out in 10 minutes I was nearly in tears thank you so much from a very very appreciative mom we will be back ️ ️ ️

The stylist that I booked with was late and my son was getting impatient so Sienna offered to do the hair cut instead and she was amazing. It was my son's first hair cut and he loved her. I will book her from now on.

Renata is the best stylist, we have been coming to here exclusively for years! A great experience for the kids!

Disappointed. I had very bad experience. My son got terrible haircut. Also chairs seemed not clean there. My son had to get in the chair covered with someone’s hair. It’s not good especially during the pandemic.

My husband and I took our son for his first haircut. We called when we arrived for our appointment and waited in the car as per instructions on the door. When I called a second time I was told to just come in as they were very busy. Once inside we were told to put our son in a chair which was dirty and covered in another child's hair. Our son immediately was scared, so I sat him on my lap in a another chair. The hairdresser aggressively attempted to put the cape on him without explaining what she was about to do, which scared my son even more. My husband put on the cape. The hairdresser then proceeded to come at my clearly upset and scared son with the clippers without any explanation or description of what she was about to do. Never once addressing him or trying to make him feel more comfortable.
This was his first haircut and she picked up clippings of the floor for me to keep and placed them in a folded piece of paper. The reason I chose Beaners for his first haircut was so it could be a positive experience for him, it was anything but.

My daughter had her first birthday hair cut here she was so happy she got hair colour spray and glitter. And super patient hairdressers.

Waited in a parking lot for 40 minutes Calling and leaving voicemails to tell them we were there for our appointment, to find out that they were behind and had started taking later appointments, essentially cancelling ours. Super frustrating for a little girl really excited for her haircut.zero empathy from the staff.

I brought my 5 year old daughter here and I was anxious at first, just cause although my daughter needed a trim, she is autistic so wasn't sure how she would handle the environment.
We were booked with Cara and it was SUCH an amazing experience. Cara was super patient, kind and made sure to ask my daughter about things that she could be sensitive about (like the hair wash and using the blow dryer). My daughter did not have a meltdown and she left super happy with her rainbow hair.
I will definitely be booking here again. It was just such a wonderful experience. Thank you everyone at Beaners for helping me and my daughter. ️

Pamm was awesome. Took the step son in for his first haircut. He wasnt overly impressed. But they blew bubbles for him and made him happy. Very awesome place.

The only place my girl will sit for cuts! Listen to input from both me and the kids. And, the ballpit is always popular!

My wife had her hair cut by Mya today and she did such a great job! She is super fun and very passionate about what she is doing. Go see her and you will not regret it.

The lady who cut my daughter's hair was great, and very friendly. However, we had to wait later than our scheduled time, and the chairs and floor were quite dirty: (

We had our 1 year old get his first hair cut here. Despite all of his crying the lady was able to clean up his mess of hair. Nice place, very obviously made to make kids feel comfortable during scary hair cuts.

We went for a first haircut for my daughter after being told we should and we were not impressed. First they forgot to move our appointment when I changed it but got us in anyway. Barely cut any hair off skipping the front altogether. Gave us a ripped first haircut certificate and when we commented on it being ripped handed us tape to fix it. And most the hair on the certificate isn’t even from our daughter. Its not even her color. You can’t even tell she got her hair done. Such a disappointment and waste of money.

They are fantastic. My grandkids go there ever 3 months for hair cuts. Misty is there hair dresser

Both of my kids got their 1st haircuts here. It was a great experience and the hair stylests are pros at baby and toddler haircuts.
