My Maid of Honour and myself had such an amazing experience at Beatnik. We came in for bridal hair and make up and left looking the best we ever have. They took our inspirational pictures and made hairstyles that suited us perfectly and were also so comfortable, and held up throughout the wedding festivities so well. Our make up was gorgeous and expertly done. I cannot say enough about how great our experience was and I would highly recommend Beatnik to anyone who is getting married in the Banff area, we had a great time and they went above and beyond to make us feel supported and beautiful, and a huge thanks again to the team.

I had the pleasure of having Ari cut my hair. It was a big day for me as I’ve always wanted to cut my hair short and I’ve finally took the steps to do it. She was absolutely amazing during the entire process. With her funny jokes, and her outgoing personality she made me feel so comfortable with the big change. Also, the salon gives you a feeling of inclusivity and kindness!

The team at Beatnik have done my hair since they opened. They are by far the best salon in Banff and the Bow Valley. They are actually SO GOOD, I drive from Edmonton, AB (4.5+ hrs drive) to have them cut and colour my hair. The vibe at Beatnik is incredible, relaxed, and so accommodating. I love this salon so much, that when my friend decided to have a mountain wedding this year (and asked me to be a bridesmaid), there was only ONE SALON that was ever an option for the wedding day. The Beatnik team made their way to Emerald Lake Lodge during a SNOW STORM BLIZZARD to be able to do our hair and make-up the day of the wedding. Their commitment and professionalism were incredible. I always get a great cut here. They are real professionals. I always go to Anne. She's a great conversationalist with beautiful ginger hair. She's from England but is a convert to the Banff life! They sometimes have musicians playing here as well, being a great Rocky Mountain business! Go here. You'll love the atmosphere.

Came in a few days ago for a first time cut with Jeremy. Really positive experience, he really knew what he was doing and nailed the fade and beard trim to a T. The hot towels at the end was a really nice touch. 10/10 will be back. Thanks heaps Jeremy
