Left to find a doctor for me and my family because our doctor up and left. Awesome- considering I have complex medical needs.

It is my opinion and I wish to make it public, we are very blessed to have this medical clinic in our city, I have being a patient since 2019 and went through many and extreme medical conditions I never had any complaints about any doctors I was sad to see Dr Caroline spiers leave and was blessed with Dr shewchuk she is fantastic and will put in many hours even after work in order to provide a service second to none, having all those doctors under the umbrella of CANDACE is another blessing from God this Lady is definitely a rock star Candance and her staff are always challenged and yet they remain calm and professional, Candance has a certain knowledge of some patients needs and will do everything in her power to have patients needs meet.
Candance attends many conferences and travel out of the city, she always seeks to learn more and provide more to all her patients she has many connections in the medical field and not afraid to ask for help in our behalf.
Candace you are a rock star and am so glad our path crossed you went above and beyond to help me and will always be great full, a lady like you needs to be recognize and appreciate, you rock Candace and many many thanks

I received a call the following morning after posting this review. The woman who spoke to me the day earlier wanted to apologize. I told her that I appreciate the call. We all make mistakes - she has a job in which she talks to many people on a daily basis - I think the takeaway here is to remember we all have struggles; it means that we should remember to always speak to people with kindness in mind. We're all here for a limited time and should try our best to treat each other how we would want to be treated.

Ruthless & rude

This review is for the clinic itself, not my doctor - who I followed to this clinic and is absolutely fantastic.

If you book a phone appointment, make absolutely sure your phone is working and reliable. If not - and you miss the phone call - they will call with a rude tone saying they do not want to waste the doctors time & your next appointment will have to be in person (basically saying you will not be allowed to have another phone appointment). Their website states they are "compassionate", however, there is no forgiveness for being a human being and making a mistake, in their eyes.

I should also mention that I have had several appointments - both in person and over the phone - and this is the only one I have ever missed.

I scheduled an appointment a year ago for my annual check-up this year. I had the time written down as 2: 30 in my calendar. I did not receive a reminder call to confirm the appointment as I usually do, so I had tried calling the day before, but either the phone lines where busy, or they were not accepting calls over lunch. When I arrived they said I was late, my appointment was at 2: 00 and I would not be able to be seen. I explained that I did not get a confirmation call, and they said maybe I wasn't in their "system". The receptionist checked and they did not have my email in their system to send me a reminder, this is a new system that they have started since my last visit when I booked this appt. The receptionist then told me it would be $150 charge for a missed appt. I find this totally unfair, I was not told of these charges at the time I booked the appointment, they changed their system and did not notify me, and I am charged for their lack of communication? I have been a patient at this clinic for well over 10 years and never missed an appointment. The doctors are all fantastic, but the administration leaves something to be desired.

Dr sheirs and absolutely gorgeous assistant was epicly by far the best encounter I've had with a doctor in 25 years

I had a mix up over a prescription not being sent after an appointment. The pharmacy sent them a refill request. I called 2 hours before closing as I'm out of meds and panicking. The receptionist crystal was very rude to my shock as I've gone here at least 16 years. In a snotty tone she informed me that they had only just received the request and dr. Black was busy. She was implying I was impatient and in the future i should make an appointment and any attempt to explain that i already had an appointment or explain what happened was met with contempt and dismissal. Thanks crystal!

Dr. Saunders is wonderful, I have been a patient of hers for quite a few years. I love that I can call and book an Appt.when needed and know that she will listen and get a solution to your issue. I've had quite a wide variety of health issues and have always felt that she gets to the bottom of it and refers out when needed. She is always on top of yearly exams and medications and many times she has reminded me when follow up is needed. Having a consistent Dr.is paramount and Beaumont medical promotes having the care of one Dr.

I don’t know how the actual care is but I googled walk-in clinics and they gave this office and it is not a walk-in clinic, you need to have an appointment. I just brought all 3 of my kids in there and had to leave. Also the doors are super frustrating and not accessible, not easy to do with 3 kids one being an infant in a car seat.
