After spending 4 months trying to find a suitable home on the market and giving up, I discovered Bedrock and the Athena floorplan, went to see the place and really liked the option. After a week or two working with the Salesman, I got a great deal and we went after it. The bank was awfully slow in approving the mortgage but Bedrock was quick and ready at every stage, responses were quick.

We took possession a month ago, a few defects were identified in the walkthrough and they were mostly all fixed before the key release. So far I've contacted them a few times and they've been pretty responsive so far, overall I am satisfied with what I got and the value of the property.

We built a somewhat custom home with a full legal basement suite and I can say that this build was by far the best I've had in all the other builds I've done. Back in 2015 we had built a similar style legal suite house with another builder and it was an absolute nightmare, this experience was the polar opposite.

Right from the initial sales experience through to construction and possession, the entire process was smooth and better than expected. All the team members kept us well informed and took care of any minor issues that came up (as are expected with any build). Our sales rep and especially our site super were absolutely amazing. I couldn't give a higher recommendation for both.

I would highly recommend Bedrock, especially the team out in Leduc if you're looking for a new home.they are by far a step above the rest!

Ryan James was our main contact and he was very open to communication and all the questions my wife and I had. Garth met with us once for a walkthrough while Ryan was away and carried the same level of service. We also had an amazing home walkthrough regarding service maintenance and warranty with George LeBlanc which was super valuable as well.

The house was finished with excellent quality. So far I have not found any issues with workmanship and am impressed, to say the least, as I am a pretty picky homeowner.

My mom and my dad bought a house from them and they have had nothing but problems we bought the house 7 years ago we can't use the 7000$ bathtub because it leaks through the ceiling and we can't use the fireplace because it cracks the wall overall 1/10

We did our house hunting back in January 2023 for 4 days while selling our Ontario home. The moment we stepped into the house, we fell in love with it! Made a snap decision to move to a larger home in Red Deer and bought a quick possession home from Ryan James in Red Deer. We strolled up to the show home on a cold wet spring evening 30 minutes before it was scheduled to close to get more information and Ryan warmly welcomed us, gave us a tour and even took us to other properties that were available. We never felt rushed or pressured to make a purchase. With the home buying process Ryan was honest, knowledgeable and always responded quickly to any questions or concerns we had. Definitely recommend.

After a great experience with our salesperson, we are now staring down the tunnel of disappointment as our brand new home is being torn apart by the warranty people to fix serious issues with the build. After having the trim around my bathroom window removed to add more insulation to stop a significant leak, I am now left with a busted up wall and scratches all over my tub’s brand new, never used hardware. We will soon have to rip the baseboards in the basement off to get more insulation put down there too. We’ve received no help from the builder, and the warranty people don’t seem to be much better now that I’ve sent an email to complain about the state of my bathroom. I never thought I’d miss my apartment, but I do. What was supposed to be a great, exciting experience has turned into a nightmare of anxiety, disappointment, and stress to the point of deteriorating health.

Amazing sales team! Doug and Daria were awesome to deal with from the beginning of negotiating all the way to our move in date and beyond. Derek the construction supervisor was great as well. Our home was completed on time and on budget.

They have a worst warranty ever.
Nobody listen, nobody care about your hard money. Whole driveway cracked within one year of built. I know it’s seasonal cracks but who told you guys to pour driveway in cold temperatures? Now they dont listen and dont even ready to fill in cracks. Their warranty guys dont even know how to speak. They just yell at you if you tell them house problems. So please see all reviews before buying house or contact other house owners.

It took 5 days to fix it.
There was also BASEMENT CONCRETE LEAK.
We took pictures and send it to them. NO RESPONCE TILL TODAY.

Did landscaping according to the builder guideline and send photos and landscaping permit and certificate.
REFUSING OUR LANDSCAPE DEPOSIT.
Till now developer is making fun of us by asking more pictures. It is really frustrating and never thought they will be like this. We are asking the deposit that we paid after following their guideline.

It is Really FRUSTRATING and making us loosing our peace of mind.
I WONT RECOMMENT THEM TO ANYONE.

Today 9th of November 2022 and the furnace brock down 2 days before. Within 1 year furnace stopped working 4 times. Right now we dont have a heat for 3 days.

We moved into our new Bedrock home a few months ago and could not be happier. When my then fiance and I were looking, we visited another builder and they didn't take us seriously, and we needed to move. So we went next door and met with Howard Goldstein and it was the best decision we made. We walked through several homes at first however, none fit what we were looking for as the one we really wanted was pending. We told him to keep in touch and we would do the same, and about a week later he said that the house we wanted was now available. We scooped in right away, and bought it. During the process as it was being finished Howard, would meet us for walk throughs from when flooring was put in, again when cabinets were put in, there was never any mystery or waiting and wondering, Howard was always keeping us in the loop.

What makes Bedrock and Howard even more accommodating, was the person wanting to buy our old place requested an extension for financing so we spoke to Howard and explained the situation as we weren't in a position to essentially own two homes, and they gave us an extension to ensure we wouldn't run into any troubles.

At the time we were moving, my fiance (now wife) had our wedding planned around the same week as the original move in date. With my wife being stressed about moving at the same time, I went to Howard and explained the tight schedule we were on. Howard was able to move our possession date earlier then planned to ensure we wouldn't be rushing, so again thank you.

Come possession time Howard, and the other Bedrock team were great on final walk throughs once it was finished on there end, and another walkthrough the day we took possession to show the little fixes that we all noted. Everything in the house was explained from the HVAC, furnace system, and the really cool 'Brilliant' system that comes with every home they build.

We live in a neighborhood that is slowly developing in Leduc so we see Howard and the Bedrock team all the time, they're always so nice to speak with and even when I've had questions and they're around they'll come take a look.

Bedrock came highly recommended, and I can see why. I would also highly recommend Howard, or anyone else at the company. Thanks again for making sometimes a difficult and stressful process so smooth.

First off want to start by saying that the sales team we dealt with were great and very helpful. This was the sales team based out of Spruce Grove. However after purchasing the home we started down the path of chasing down warranties and help from seasonal department. My walkway to the front door was floating as all the rough grade had eroded away, and the same things was happening to the driveway. I asked for someone to come and take a look from the seasonal department and they refused telling me that once the city signs off on the rough grade certificate, its now my problem. Spoke with the seasonal manager and he was no help, basically lying directly to me. His response was to have the landscaping company fill the voids, and it shouldn't cost anything. If this was the case, then why not send your crew over to fill the voids? The list goes on with things going wrong and no help from warranty or seasonal. Basically once they have your money, you're on your own from there. It's disappointing since the process of building this home started out so great and exciting.

Love Bedrock Homes, actually bought one of their bungalows about 10 years ago. I visited one of their homes last week but like everything else these days, prices have skyrocketed. Bedrock builds a good home but wont be buying till this “real estate” madness is over.

We had a very bad experience with bedrock. They are thoroughly unprofessional. Mohammed and Graham are just here to sell the house and even if it’a having so many faults in construction. Poor quality of craftsmanship. They will always ask you to reach warranty and won’t fix anything in the house before your possession date. They are trying to milk the situation of consumers and kinda cheat them.

Ryan or Bryan was very disrespectful and rude at the time of showing him the cracks in the windows, or creaking in the flooring. A very bad experience. Don’t go with sales people like Graham and Mohammad. They are good for nothing so as bedrock.

They won’t bother for customers as simple as that. They only have 1 mantra, call warranty and everyone knows how difficult to deal with warranty people. They will say no to 99% of the tasks.

We waited over a year until we finally decided to call this our first home in Canada with Bedrock homes. We had a really wonderful experience working with Rohit from start to finish. Had few hiccups but there was nothing that could not be resolved. I would definitely recommend Rohit for anyone who is looking for stress free process of buying a house.

We bought our new home in the new neighborhood of Chapelle from Bedrock Homes.
We bought a house which was ready to move in. We were dealing with Brian Tate and he is amazing. He is so nice and super friendly you feels like you know him since long time. He is very polite and has always smile on his face. He is very professional and knowledgeable, can answer everything you ask him. Whenever we needed anything he was always there.
He responds very quickly.
Our home is really good quality built and we are very happy to work with Bedrock homes. Brian Tate is a great asset for Bedrock homes. We are really thankful.

We got house built by bedrock in 2018 since then we are having so many problems with the house and their poor response leaving us frustrated for example garage is pooling with water since then, house is 2700sqft so imagine a big garage and it’s water pooling all the time, we contacted bedrock they refused to do anything in 2018 and forwarded us to new house warranty, they people are terrible they don’t want to spend single penny to do anything. When you call them first they would say wait for spring and summer and then they will say house is one year old already we will not do any repairs leaving you with ur house. So we tried to fix our garage by our own but it’s almost impossible to fix the water pooling in garage because it’s built wrong, but we tried and almost spent 6000 on cement and professional garage floor still they can not fixed the water pooling coz it’s built wrong by bedrock, but my recent reason for putting this review is because now the water pipes in the house are leaking and leaving spots on the roof. Can someone believe 4 year old house plumbing pipes are leaking what one should expect, ther are big water stains in the roof in main living area of the house and above that living area we have our main washroom so it means the pipes from washroom is leaking and now god knows how much we have to spend here coz I know bedrock is not gonna take any responsibility and by the ways I haven’t mentioned roofing issues, shingles were missing from roof and so on but very we r very disappointed
So poor service it’s so unbelievable, dolce vita houses are much better built

My husband and I recently purchased a spec home from Bedrock in the Kinglet area and our experience with them was so wonderful I wanted to share it. Allie and Carrie, who manage the Kinglet area for Bedrock, were absolutely terrific to deal with. They were both extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and attentive to our numerous questions. They were both genuinely happy for us about our purchase. We also dealt with Bedrock’s design center to purchase our window blinds and that experience was just as great. Joan was such a pleasure to deal with. We would not hesitate to recommend Bedrock to anyone looking to purchase a quality home. We will hold our experience with them as a fond memory.

We have been in our new Bedrock home for almost exactly 1 year and we couldn't be happier. Before we bought our home we looked around for a few months and just couldn't find what we were looking for. Poor customer service. Booked an appointment in Reddeer (evergreen homes) for quick possession homes. We were there 5 mins earlier and the person who was showing homes was busy another couple, so we waited outside for almost 20mins. She saw us waiting outside for so long and didn’t had a courtesy to ask why we are waiting, she just simply ignored us. Not recommended

It was our great pleasure dealing with bedrock homes. We were looking for an old home at first, but after visiting bedrock showhome in maple crest and meeting Mohammad Ghounash and Graham Salmon, we decided to go with bedrock homes and buy a new home. Mohammad was very professional and friendly with his approach. We never felt like he was selling to us. He took time to explain all the details to us and answer our questions. He is very knowledgeable and went out of his way to help us and solve our queries. He was easy to contact and answered our calls whenever we called. After we moved into our house, the house next to us was under construction and a mud truck made a mess on our side walk. We contacted John Murray. He sent his team to clean up within an hour. Bedrock homes have beautiful interior, the colour combinations are excellent and huge windows. It is nice and airy and is built in a way that we have tons of daylight throughout the day. Overall we had a great experience buying our first home from bedrock homes. We highly recommend bedrock homes to anyone who wants to buy a home.

My wife and I have been shopping for our new home for a couple years now. We are very happy that we found our favourite salesperson, Victoria Brown. We were shopping in Spruce Grove and came across Victoria in the Bedrock show home. Victoria is the hardest working salesperson we have experienced so far and find her very easy to work with. Very excited! I see us purchasing a Bedrock home knowing how awesome the service always is when dealing with this very professional person.

We just bought a house from these guys and in the beginning there were very polite and pretended to be helpful but that’s only till you get the keys after moving in we saw some problems and when I tried to contact the design studio they didn’t respond in a good way to be quite frank they actually didn’t care so it was the worst experience of my life and I would highly recommend everyone to be careful with these guys
