Staff is all really good, especially Darrien at the front, who was super friendly and professional, and the bartender with the beard and long hair was awesome. Bouncers are pretty laid back, only people who have trouble with them are usually too drunk, and are the ones causing the trouble.

I didn’t have food but drinks were good, bartenders were really nice.only complaint was they had the worst dj I’ve ever heard in my life.so bad I had to leave.

Beercade is one of my favourite places to be! I feel like I live there! Everyone working at Beercade is awesome! Can’t wait to be back there again this weekend!

Definitely needs better quality control.every time I've gone in there I see under aged kids who are my sisters age.not sure how its possible to let these kids in when they're scanning ids.maybe they're just not looking at photos but the atmosphere of this place is just kind of unsettling. I literally refuse to go to this place for this exact reason.they need to start getting more strict on who they're letting into this place just weird that they're somehow letting these kids in. There are definitely better bars you can go to without running into kids who aren't underage.

Barman was rude and rolled his eyes when we ordered drinks. Would not recommend to friend. Would recommend to my arch nemesis but would be very harsh.

The only bad thing I can say is that their 4 pool tables only have 2 white pool balls between them all ‍️

Its pretty cool but super expensive. Blew more money here then anywhere else in the evening and it honestly wasn't really worth it ‍️‍️

They straight up scammers. Overcharge you, pretip themselves and then still make ask you to tip on top of that, and "only accept debit over 20" but then the next bar tender will let me pay debit for one drink 5 minutes later. Overpacked and overall just garbage. Cannot recommend.

Wasn't even close to fun the games got boring fast and it gets over crowned by none gamers because they play cringe radio pop music instead of music gamers like

Matt the bouncer is one of the nicest people I have ever met, he helped me when I needed it and always makes sure that everyone is safe. He is the reason why me and all my friends feel safe there!

I had a blast at this place. The bar staff was approachable, funny, and helpful, even considering a very busy and demanding environment. All of the staff I interacted with were positive and I'd like to specifically mention Matt. He was one of the security/bouncers (I assume). I saw him deal with numerous complex situations, one of them involving my own group. In each case he displayed intelligence, empathy, and otherwise useful input that helped to resolve these situations without the usual aggressive and potentially violent outcome. I would consider him an excellent asset to this businesses, and I hope he is recognized for the value and skill he brings. Thanks Matt

I went here for Halloween. My friends and I bought tickets to the Halloween thing and when we got in the bathroom was nasty and unclean, no one took care of it, plus when we coat checked our stuff, we PAID and I put my things ID and small stuff in the jacket as I was told/thought it was safe… stolen and I called them and they said they’d get back and never did… not only am I furious about the fact I paid to get my stuff stolen but none of the business nor people care. If you wanna spend money at a bar or pub or place I’d suggest somewhere that doesn’t steal your stuff or takes care of there costumers.

The girl at the door read my proof of vaccine wrong and denied me, it still had validation, I got the 1 dose on the 28th and was there on the 10th, so it was still valid until the 12th.
2 other bars let me in, one before and one after.

It was a nice place. Crazy when busy. And the young lady, Erin, made our table, feel like we were the only table she was serving. They are all good, but this youg lady, has been the best. Tip her (them all as well) well, she will be there for you.

I really liked it here. It isn’t my scene, it’s definitely a bit younger of a crowd than I surround myself with. But everybody was in good spirits, having fun, and being as respectful as possible of space. Cheap drinks, excellent staff. The cocktail waitress on was phenomenal. My girlfriend and I loved your service.

Music was pretty loud, would be nice if it was quiet toward the smaller bar so I can actually have a conversation if I choose to. Good security staff too. Friendly, professional.

Last night was Friday and we went here for my friends birthday. First off there was not a mask in sight. Literally 5/200 people had one on. The DJ was straight trash, changed the music every 30 seconds and it was all over the place. Couldn’t even dance to half the music he played. Not good at all. The staff was really nice and attentive, they were all really great.

Had a pretty bad time! Came on a Saturday afternoon to play pinball, because 9-12 pinball machines were advertised on their website. They had three. I spoke to one bartender who sent me to another bartender, who sent me to another bartender who then said "i'll be with you in a second". Nearly 8 minutes later, he finally acknowledges my presence again (after seemingly making a drink for his coworker) and is rude when i ask for my cash to be broken so I can buy tokens. The manager was kind when I told him about the false advertising on the site, but I won't be coming back here and will be letting others know there are better arcades in the city.

Little did I know this is a University aged bar. Brought a couple of friends there with the intention of drinking beer and playing games (as is implied in the name "Beercade"). The game selection sucked and many of the machines didn't work. The bar and its tables were a sticky mess. I can see how this place might be a good time if you're in your early 20s and are simply looking for a cheap drunk. However, if you're a mature adult looking to have a few beers and play games, this ain't it.

For those who have been to game bars and expect a pretty normal pub experience, but with video games, this is NOT the place for you. This is essentially a night club with some arcade games and pinball. Large crowds, music that shakes the building so you can't talk to anyone, a bar constantly surrounded so it takes over 5 minutes for the bar tenders to be able to even acknowledge you. Now hey, if you are into that sort of scene, then give this place a go, but I'm not. Only reason I'm writing this is because I feel the place sometime presents itself as a calmer, fun, pub like venue for everyone, when that just isn't true.

The bar itself is awesome, the open window seats at the top give a great view of Whyte and the new layout spread the games around, so there's far less clustering of people than before.

The music's always loud and largely top 40s or modern dance/club/pop, which is a good or bad thing depending on what you like.

Games are reasonably priced but sometimes machines break and it's hard to get credit for lost tokens as the people in charge of that seem to always be busy or nowhere to be found.

Drinks are expensive, getting bar service can be painful on busy nights but often isn't that bad, and I would never waste my time on food, there's too many good options just down the block to waste it on the low quality grub here.

Fun place to hit up some games but wait for sales for drinks, def not worth at full price.

I used to love beercade for there selection of games and pinball. I recently visited and theres more tables then games, the food choices were not so great either.

I moved away from Edmonton and returned excited to go to my favorite place but i was disappointed.

Fun place but the bartender charged my friend's credit card 3 times by telling my friend that the first two attempts didn't work. When my friend brought it up, they instantly called the bouncer to kick him out. That's unacceptable

Waitress charged me double for food. Glad I noticed it, and glad that fixed it. Quality and taste of grub was darn good!

Beercade is a nice little stop on Whyte ave. Lots of weekly deals on both food and drinks. They also have a bunch of different arcade games that you are able to enjoy while hanging out with friends.

Collin is a great guy, Always receives us with positivity and happiness and we are sure that beercade will reach different level under the management of Collin.

Was pretty nice, took forever to get served but when we finally did our server bought us a shot each. However they failed to mention that they stopped serving alcohol at 11: 00 so we only ever got one round of drinks. What have been much better if we have been told that this was the only time we could order. Plus just a personal preference it was way too loud in there could not hear anything.

Only because Perri is the best server, Enzo makes bartending look easy and delicious and if you put Collin and Perri side by side you have eye candy all night! Even sober.

Drinks were a great value. Local breweries represented.awesome. Food was good. Location.perfect. Staff.great. Too much Sea Change, not enough good microbreweries.

Don't mind alexander turner's 1 star review, the guy is a l0s3r going around giving 1 star to businesses that he's never been to. Imagine being that mad about businesses wanting to remain open. If you're that scared of the big mean restaurants then just stay home.

Good place to go to for happy hour the beer selection is good, appetizers we're all good, after happy hour though I was a little irritated with the fact there was a bathroom attendant, really!? In an arcade bar!? Sorry but not the type of place that warrants that. And the place turned into the usual electro dance club every bar on Whyte seems to turn into after 9pm.

Pre-pandemic Sunday nights were the best nights for a wrestling fan to go, watch a major show with other fans, get loaded on $4 drinks and $4 wings. Great atmosphere, almost impossible to have a bad time there especially if you enjoy retro video games.

Wishing thing were back to normal, I miss Taco Tuesday. They have the best Al pastor (beef) tacos.

I love dancing at beercade! I always feel safe and the bartenders, managers and servers always are prompt with service! I appreciate the fact that my food comes out hot all thanks to the kitchen staff! I hope to see the bar open soon! Missing the staff and atmosphere immensely:)

Cute place, super busy on fridays. It would be interesting to go there during the week to just hangout and play arcade games

Attended the UFC event on the weekend that they had advertised. They included happy hour until 9pm on their facebook event. Upon arrival, we were told by our server it was a mistake and that they wouldn't be honouring that. After speaking the manager, she admitted it was a mistake and gave us happy hour pricing. Not ideal we had to ask a manager when they advertised it, but glad they honoured what they said.

Around 10: 30PM, their DJ started playing music and they cut the sound to the main event of the UFC card, depsite having a lot of people there for the fight. I don't understand how you advertise people to come down for UFC and then cut the sound on the main event. I spoke with the manager about it and they refused to change it. Very disappointing. I like this place and normally have an excellent experience, but would not attend another advertised event again (especially UFC). If you're looking to watch the fights, I'd recommend going somewhere else.

Friendly staff great service and great prices. After 9pm it gets a bit too noisy for this old guy. But that is my problem not theirs.

Good pub to visit during the weekend. However, it's terrible if you're going out JUST to eat. There was literally 1 server and she approached us after a veryyyyy long time. She kept running here and there and we hated the unusal wait time even though it wasn't that busy on a weekday. Saw a bartender suddenly throw ice cubes all over a girl! They probably knew each other but we were sitting right there and became shocked all of a sudden! It was kinda awkward and a little uncomfortable.

There are less games here than there used to be. Drinks are the main reason for coming here as they a real cheap. Some staff could be a little bit more attentive.

It is a awesome place to party and meet women! While playing your favorite arcade game, Air Hockey is my favorite too challenge a babe too a game or two.
