They are quick to demolish your home but will take forever to rebuild it back. My recommendation is to ask your claims adjuster for a CASH OUT. Your insurance provider will cut you a cheque for the repair amount, this will allow you the opportunity to hire your own contractor and most likely pocket a few bucks in the process. Whatever you do, do not let BELFOR work on your home, you will be dealing with nothing but problems.

We found a significant water leak in our recently renovated basement late in the evening on a holiday. Belfor was called out and arrived the next morning of the holiday. A clean up team and a plumber were dispatched, all who arrived within the day. The water leak was controlled and damaged materials were all removed quickly and effectively. Successful repairs to the basement were made within the next month to restore the room back to its original condition. All Belfor supplied personnel were very efficient, polite, respectful and professional. We were very satisfied with the result and time frame in which Belfor was able to rectify our issues.

A few years ago my Dad’s business, MJ Systems, building had a major issue. The hill behind it literally slid down into the build causing crazy amounts of water and mud. Peter, my dad, immediately contacted Malcolm at Belfor. The caped crusaders arrived just an hour later and handled the entire issue! Complete satisfaction!

Belfor is a top notch operation which I have used in several occasions. They have come through each and every time. I would like to take the time to specifically mention Jim Large, Mark Kummer and Malcom MacDougall for all of their help over the years. They are as professional as it gets.

My home got damaged by hail storm this year in June, and my insurance company sent Belfor Calgary to do the inspection and estimation. They showed up after 4 months to perform the inspection. After their inspection, my adjuster sent me details of their estimate and I found that they missed a number of damaged items which were very obvious in the pictures and clearly shown as damaged but they skipped the details. Very unprofessional. I will not recommend Belfor to anyone.

I parked in one of there parking lots and a lady that works at belfor came out to ask me to move my car. The parking lot was half empty and I was only occupying that parking space for a couple of minutes. Rude worker.

Excellent experience from start to finish from the entire Belfor team. Thorough and professional, the work was done on time and to a high quality. My projected included the removal of drywall and sanitation of a bedroom and living room area. Recommend for small and large jobs!

House was damaged in June hailstorm and dejardenis Insurance uses these clowns to do there work. Mark and his assistant ears clearly don't work because when you call them 100 times nobody answers. They show up randomly and don't even tell you. They give a buddy buddy rate of cost plus 5% to the insurance company and also they miss soo much of the work that needs to be repaired. Sent there quotes to multiple different reputable companies and they laughed at these clowns for even being in business.

These guys are soo unprofessional and dumb I highly recommend you stay away.

I recently had Belfor come out to my house and do a clean up after a bunch of reno's. The crew were amazing and did a great job. I would highly recommend them!

Used my insurance company's recommended restoration company Belfor and their recommended flooring company Signature Floors to deal with water leak insurance claim. Has been a gong show from the start. Project manager Jenn from Belfor only returned phone calls and emails intermittently. After many problems with Jenn I requested a new project manager in Dec 2019 and was refused. Contractors showed up at the wrong time or didn't show up at all. Flooring install is badly done and this was confirmed by the sales rep from the flooring manufacturer. Both Jenn from Belfor and Ryan manager of Signature Floors claimed without even coming out to look at my floor that it was installed as per industry standards - how can anyone say that the floor was installed properly without coming out to the job site? I have been fighting with Belfor, Signature Floors and my insurance company for months with no resolution. On Jan 17,2020 Ryan the manager from Signature Floors came out to inspect my floor. Myself and my friend reviewed all the problems with the floor and Ryan agreed to remove the floor, correct the levelling issues (that were made by their installer) and put in new flooring at no charge to me. Dan the owner of Signature Floors now states the install is fine and refuses to replace the floor. I have been given the run around by Belfor and Signature Floors for months now. The job is incomplete and I cannot use my basement. My insurance company was finally able to get Dan and the GM of Belfor out to my home last week and Dan is still trying to claim the floor has been installed properly. At best I have been offered to have an independent flooring inspector out to inspect the flooring which can't happen for another 4-6 weeks! I should have been offered an independent flooring inspection months ago! I have not been able to park in my garage for over 3 months because that's where all my basement belongings are stored!

I recently had a pipe burst in my master bedroom which damaged the floor extensively, Belfor had a representative out the same day, my wife met with their flooring contractor the following day and within four days the bathroom was ripped out and reconstructed,
