Don't go here. Poor service and communication. Extremely rude broker and business poorly managed overall. Your better off with a different insurance provider. No stars wasn't an option but it should be.

Do not use this broker! They do not return phone calls. I made full payment toward my policy 2 weeks ago and called them to ensure they knew that same day. Had to leave a message. I figured averything was fine. This morning I received a message threatening to cancel my policy if payment is not made. What? Obviously extremely concerned, I tried to contact them by phone several times over the course of 4 hours. NO ONE ANSWERS. Again left a message. After not hearing from them I decided to go down to the office to talk to them in person. Travelled by car to the address listed on their website and apparently they don't exist! No signage, nothing! Finally, I decided to bypass the broker and go straight to the insurance company. Found out my payment was indeed received on the date mentioned. I have given this Beneficial too many chances-definitely switching. It should never be this hard to contact your broker. What are they there for if you can't reach them when you need to?

Shady buisness. Got quoted insurance for 800. Sent money, said yes except my address was wrong. Asked if they could change it. I moved blocks away same small town. The broker got back to me and said it was another 400. So I said forget it. I then said forget it I'm not paying that absorbent amount. He then responded with feel free to shop around. So I assumed I had no insurance because I had NOT approved it. However they took the money and started me a policy. Then said just pay the extra amount to avoid the hassle. No I'm battling to get my money back.all I get is snide emails and condescending responses in regards. Just dismissing me and keeping my money washing their hands of me. They are crooks. Highly do NOT reccomend using them. Look what the automated response I'll get back. No resolve, no accountability. I've tried calling many times, emailing many times.

I just got off the phone with them while at work and the receptionist was one of the most polite people I have ever encountered while doing this job. Im thuroughly impressed and quite honestly refreshed. I absolutely had to leave a review because I can only imagine how wonderful the service they provide would be if the receptionist is that fantastic

Horrible customer service, very unprofessional, no appreciation for valued customers, worst brokerage company in the city, nobody knows what they are doing, very polite when they are taking your money but if you get any issues brokers don't even answer your calls or emails. Save you time and money go elsewhere

Recently our car was hit by someone and we were left on our own to deal with issues. Gary told us talk to Christina Story the Claim Adjuster from Aviva who we had our cars and home insured with. Every time I call Christina if she heard anything from the other insurance company to pay for our damaged vehicle, she would say nope they haven’t emailed me yet. Anyway, I called the other insurance myself and they say they have had everything sent to Aviva already. So that tells they never wanted to deal with this issue. Now I feel like they were only robbing us for years and years for nothing.
Whoever is going to reply to me should leave me a phone number and I can tell more. Don’t say you can’t find me in your system.
After not helping us, they increased the insurance of one car from $49 to $83+ a monthly.

Apparently like to work with crooks like Wawanesa and fully back up the crooked company they are. I cannot believe you have no idea what your clients do or charge people that go through your broker. You should be on top of that and make sure your customers know what the insurance companies YOU REPRESENT, are about to do, or take from your customers. I’d pay more attention to your customers and not the insurance companies you represent. Awful experience 0/5 if I could.

I have been dealing with Beneficial and Gary Tremblay for many years now and have had nothing less than exemplary service from him. He always goes above and beyond for anything I need or want. I have seen a number of negative reviews thanks to the recent changes in the insurance industry. Brokers have no control over what the insurance companies decide to charge you. Be aware that the provincial rate cap is going to expire in August meaning insurance providers will be able to charge whatever they want. Currently some insurance companies are cancelling policies in entire neighborhoods or cancelling every 3rd policy to "save money". Many are also removing the payment plan option making you pay the entire premium up front. It's a rocky time for insurance right now but Beneficial is trying their best to take care of their customers unlike the insurance providers.

They were great to us at first. Then we just added another vehicle to our policy after 3 years and the broker told us the wrong amount therefor the payment bounced in that account and our policy is being terminated! This would cost our family $950 to have it back! Not happy at all we will be canceling asap and switching companies. This is twice now this has happened! Already been told by the broker there’s nothing they can do about it.

Very poor service. If there is no issue, they are good to you taking your money. If need help, you are left on your own.

Worst customer service I've had in ages.

The person on the phone instantly starts complaining about the time I phoned them at, because "it's her lunch break"

I have been trying to cancel my policy for over a week and haven't gotten any replies via email.

When I phone in I get a boatload of attitude from anyone I talk to.

Absolutely horrible service the last yr, I've been worth these guys for 5 yr and this last yr has been horrible. I spoke to a manager that told me I was being a bully, now I understand that may have been his perception but my mind is blown at how I was treated today.

Client of mine that just bought a house called and chatted with a representative there to get his insurance in place on his first home.the representative had questions about the new home that I was asked to help out and answer.left messages and sent an email that weren't returned.we were in a time crunch as possession is coming up soon.i finally demanded to talk to the rep and gave her the answers she needed.i was told they would call ASAP to my client to get it done, that was three days ago.and my client still hasn't heard from them.we moved on to another insurance provider.
