Benner had the $300 part I thought I needed, had no problem taking my money yet did not verbally disclose there are NO returns on electrical parts. (of course its on the bill once you have paid for it) I ended up not needing the part and now I am stuck with it. Lesson to be learned Don't buy the parts from Benner unless your willing to keep them even if you don't use them

Very unprofessional and charge me alot 574 dollars for thermostat and thermostat is not fixing when i call to accounts department then they talk very very rude so please beware this company

The staff is very helpful and the gentleman named Wayne (or Dwayne, I apologize for not being sure if I remembered it correctly) is very knowledgeable and speaks plainly.

I would recommend this store to anyone looking for plumbing and heating fixtures and parts.

We have used Benners for many many years. The techs are all fantastic. Get the problem fixed and do it for a reasonably good price.

My water heater died so stopped by Benner to have a chat. They recommended a model that was right-sized for my home, and were able to have the installer, Sean, come out the next day. Installation was professional and tidy. I had a minor issue due to my existing plumbing, and Sean came back to make it right. Great service, would recommend.

We noticed a leak and called them in the morning and they sent someone very fast and I know it was a more technically intensive work than regular plumbing stuff. They came very fast and fixed everything quickly. I know he went above and beyond and put more care into it, you can tell. Thank you Sean!

Prices always higher than anyone else. Today called them to see if they had an oring I needed. I gave them the full dimensions but they insisted the only way to see if they had it would be to bring in the old. I drove down and they opened a drawer pulled out a small box that had the dimensions clearly listed on the cover and said they didn't have one. Why couldn't they have checked and saved me a 1 hour round trip in rush hour. Typical for them.

I always trusted Benner and wanted to support local business, but if you are charging 120% more than local hardware store, you are losing my business. Remember we are all suffering from the economy not just the business,

Please Note: They charge a $95 fee to come out and do a quote. THEN. Upon arrival tell you they Missed mentioning the trip fee on top of it!
$200 charged to my credit card immediately but a week and a half later, 2 calls, and still NO quote! They said they charge a quote fee because they spend time coming out and don't get the job! I wonder why? !
I'm out $200 not a good business model

Needed parts to fix a basic kitchen sink faucet, they had them, and I bought them.

Parts fit and the kitchen sink was fixed.

Never tried this service before so not knocking the service but to the guy driving the cube van 122 on April 11th around 6pm. Slow down.no need to speed especially through residential!

Benner was recommended by an associate from Lowe's. Most importantly, the job (replace a thermostat) did get done in the end and within 30 minutes. Here are my concerns that will drive me to try another company like Rocky Mountain Plumbing next time:
1. Booking: receiver of the call was a bit on edge already, customer service-fatigue perhaps
2. The Plumber Daniel arrived early to our scheduled appointment - he was have a smoke in the truck while waiting (I'm not a fan of smoke on peoples clothing)
3. My heating system was not standard and it had recently under gone a small revamp so I was asking some questions about the system. The plumber literally, rolled his eyes at me (digest that), then when he had installed the wrong thermostat, he blamed it on me for distracting him by my questions.

He completed the job in about 30 minutes (33 min max). In my mind I would be billed the half hour labour rate $58 plus the trip charge $69.95 plus the thermostat cost $59.95. WHAT I DIDN'T KNOW: Extra shop supples $7.50 (which he used none) plus $ $58 service fee for Daniel to walkt back to the truck, fill out my invoice which took another 15 minutes but I had to pay the full 30min due to their billing policy.

This is absurd. $58 for a rolling-eyed plumber, who had no interest to answer my questions, charged me $58 to fill out an invoice and pressured me to pay up "or else I don't get paid".

I was left with an impression that Benner plumbers are under stress and don't really enjoy their work.

Need plumbing supplies and fixtures.check them out. Showroom is small but efficient. Jason was very knowledgeable and worked with us asking questions to stay on budget and desired outcome.

I had a hot water tank replaced and their staff was Fast and friendly, also they cleaned up after themselves. I would recommend this company.

Totally rip off i went there to buy Honeywell gas valve for furnace.everywhere arpis, amresupply and supplier from my technicians ask between $500 and $580 they rip me for $890. Never buy from them. Thiefs.

I have been using Benner for a number of years as a one-stop shopping, and they give great advices. I should especially mention Cameron who worked on our PolyB replacement - he was very pleasant to deal with, hardworking, looking out for us, and a great spoke person for Benner!

Will done guys! Had the shower valve I needed, only place in the city that did. Same price as I could get it on amazon but couldn't get it for 7 days on amazon, was honestly expecting double the price. Helped me out in an emergency and get my water turned back on in the same day. You guys rock!

Extremely rude customer service and unreasonably high prices.
Got a part and took it back within the same hour to return since it was the wrong size.
Guy at the counter assured that it would work but it didn't.

Gave me the hardest time to issue a refund.

Benner is always good. I've used them for years for my heating and plumbing problems. They always send experienced guys out for a reasonable price. I tried another company once, went back to Benner right away

I had my old Lennox furnace serviced today by Dan. Excellent job. Friendly, no up selling. I was having a motor issue. He showed me my old motor and the state of disrepair it was in. Took the time to ask us if the amount of air coming out was the same, took time to explain the proper amount fan speed/force was appropriate for the furnace.
When I called other furnace service companies and explained that I wanted my furnace serviced and NOT replaced most did not want to come out.
Very pleased with the service and the price.

and Benner Pl. & H. Ltd.had this part available at a very reasonable
price, one of the lowest price compared with 5 other quotes.

I thought I'd buy the Pressure Relieve Valve in Calgary vs Invermere. Picked it up at Benner $188.95 and drove to the valley. Stopped in at Home Hardware in Invermere and to my shock the same valve was $74.99 in BC. Wow that's quite the mark up Benner has. To Benner's credit I returned the item before their 30 day timeline and had no problems with the process.

Had a service tech from Benner (Craig - relocated Texan) come by this morning to install a water shutoff valve to replace the existing WSV that wouldn't work. Craig was very efficient, friendly and completed the work within the timeline the City Waterworks would stick around to turn back on the water from the outside shutoff valve. GREAT WORK! Would recommend Benner to anyone for plumbing services. Thanks Craig!

Biggest ripoff artists ever wanted 5 dollers for 1 outside tap washer when Rona had a package of 6 for 2.29$.

Great local shop that I was referred to by a friend that has been a long time customer. They had the right parts to get my furnace back up & running with friendly support & advice. They will be my first call next time I need furnace, plumbing or A/C help.

Staff were friendly and super helpful. They had good recommendations and were transparent about prices - well machined parts and perfect fits may cost more but peace of mind is priceless. I'd definitely come back to Benner for future plumbing needs.

One of the elder plumbing sale specialist isn’t acting professionally. A fine and polite manner to assist client for their problem and needs would be necessary, there was one quote from what he said during my purchase” hi sir, this is the product that I think you r looking for. Don’t get me wrong. It could fit but it won’t, bring it back anytime with the receipt and I will refund the money for you. ”
After that, I decide to change the whole mechanic instead of changing that specific part, that elder sale was like” sorry sir, this product is been too long and the receipt is old. I can’t do the return for you. ”
I think I learn my lesson from such “professional sale rep” have done this for years. I would not recommended any of my friends and business over. Good luck ~

Staff here know plumbing inside out compared to some of the other plumbing supply shops in the city. Fair prices and good inventory.

Awesome guys to deal with. Woke up to no heat. Thermocouple was bad. Called them at 9am. Had it all fixed by 11am. Great guy to deal with and looked the unit over to ensure the rest looked good. The bill cost was reasonable for a service call and speedy service. Thank You

Had a leak in a pipe connector on my hot water tank, brought the pipe in and the they made a replacement part on the spot! Great service!

They do good plumbing, fairly expensive, but certainly not the worst, and they ARE honest.

What I totally don't get is they are in the retail business of answering the phone and going to your residence. Thet charge a $65 Travel and Dispatch fee. Answering a phone. Residential plumber going to a Residence. And $7.50 Shop Supplies!

They need to rebrand themselves as "Benner Airlines" with all their extra fees. Sorry guys, your competition does it better.

I recently bought a Grohe faucet at Benner and discovered too late that it comes with a flow restrictor that produces a laughably slow flow rate. Benner is well aware of this problem but didn't mention it when I purchased the faucet. Instead, I had to return to buy a high-flow quick connect while my plumber waited. Obviously, Benner isn't responsible for US water restriction legislation, but they definitely should advise customers of this feature and offer the higher flow solution at the time of purchase instead of just shrugging their shoulders later.

They like to run up the clock and charge you, e.g. Spend 15 minutes writing up the invoice in the van and charge you for the time. One time, the issue was resolved in 15 minutes. So, you'd think the call out fee would cover that, but he said there's a minimum of 1/2 hour fee on top of the call out fee. Then he spent some time chatting me up to run up the billable hours even further. Ripoff artists. Will never recommend or go with them. Buyer beware with these guys.

I purchased a new kitchen faucet set today and realized I forgot about the sprayer. I went back, exchanged the product and the staff provided a couple of tips when installing the new set.

If you are looking for personalized service, this is the company to deal with. Not some big box store that doesn't have the level of expertise.

I originally asked for parts for a 20-year-old heater - and they had a replacement parts kit, except for the old gas valve with left hand threads (*who does that? *) - so when I went to get the parts at about 11: 00 a.m, we jointly agreed that a brand new heater was the smart money.

They drove from north Calgary to south Calgary and had the old heater out, the new heater in, and everything filled and operational before 2: 00 that afternoon.

Service does not get better than this, as far as I’m concerned. Simply outstanding.
