My brother and I went into Best Buy to buy stereo lavalier microphones. We bought one and when we got home and opened the package, it was empty. The next day we returned to mention something and get another ordered in. We decided to order two more with that one and were told that'd it'd take a few days, which was fine. After the three mics were shipped in and we picked them up we returned home to find that we got two of the three we ordered, another missing and the package damaged. Once, okay that can be excused, but twice, the second time right out of the plastic package that it came in, unbelievable. The service is great overall, their desire to help the customers was insightful and an excellent, but wasting fourth bucks on something that should have been available, that's just inconvenient and annoying.
After having the worst experience with visions I came to Best Buy (Lethbridge branch) for my new tv. Morgan you are a certified beautition. She went above and beyond to help us get the tv we wanted. Will continue to buy from you.
Do not buy digital downloads from Best Buy. I order my download on the 10th of December and it’s the 16th and still have not been received. They will not give me a refund, and asked me to get a new email address as the large companies like Telus and Rogers block downloads. There is no warning on their website for this hiccup. They now tell me if I get a new email they will send it there and again I need to wait a few more days. Just ridiculous.
I'm writing this review because of the exceptional customer service I experienced when dealing with this team. Jesse N was incredibly helpful with sorting out issues with my newly purchased TV. He stopped at nothing to make sure that I was satisfied with the TV I settled on.
The experience: I had purchased a Samsung TV which was defective out of the box. There was a large black vertical line about 10 cm in width which would flicker intermittently while viewing. Without question, Jesse accepted the item back and promptly replaced the item. The 2nd TV I got had extreme flashlighting spots in the corners, causing a terrible viewing experience. These were two very unlucky cases of receiving TVs which were either assembled incorrectly, shouldn't have passed quality standards on Samsung's part or perhaps we're damaged during shipping.
Without question, Jesse and his team accepted the faulty TVs. They made suggestions on more reliable models and I settled in a TV that I absolutely loved.
A BIG thank you to these individuals for making the experience as pleasant as possible. The Lethbridge Best Buy has received consistent customer service awards, and I can completely understand why this is deserved.
Went into the cell phone Kiosk, I believe the gentlemen's name that helped me was Cody.hands down some of the best customer service I have received. Best buy should have a better way for customers to acknowledge there staff. I hope he and his management see's this.
Would not buy from them unless I HAVE to. They used to be such a good company but recently their customer service has been absolutely terrible. You aren't able to call the store anymore, their call center is unknowledgeable and their staff are not trained about the products like they used to be. Very sad to give this review as we used to buy products from the religiously.

I miss the once great customer service from these guys… Excited to pickup my Oculus Q2 I ordered, customer service was busy on her iPhone, but eventually acknowledged me. I think she was upset because I interrupted her private text message time…. Sorry about that. Next time I’ll have it delivered. No wonder why robots, delivery and automation are taking over CSRs jobs. Three stars because online purchase went smooth!

I am fairly upset because I was told by two employees that the 3 year protection plan would cover loss if I lost one of my airpods and that is the only reason I spent an extra $80. Only to find out today that loss is not covered under this plan. I would not have purchased the protection plan otherwise
Went in to buy a computer, stood in front of the one I was interested in with my daughter, there were 4 staff members off to the side talking. I waited 10 minutes before asking for help. The staff member that came over, asked me what he could help me with. I explained I was looking at the computer, and showed him a picture of one at costco, (which was the exact computer), he told me he had nothing that could match it and that I should buy the one at costco. Wow, couldn’t believe the service. I tried to call the manager, but wasn’t able to get thru, more than a few times. I did go to costco and buy from them.
Always enjoy the service there, very knowledgeable staff. I went in to buy a computer they helped me figure out what system and what I could get for my budget.
Went in to check out in stock graphics cards, as I'm thinking of updating my computer a bit. The only card they had was a 700 series Nvidia. They weren't out of stock of others, there wasn't even spots on the shelf for them.
Great place to shop if you want an overpriced, underpowered, prebuilt computer, or overpriced components from 2014.
Went in to get a new laptop. I believe his name was Mac, was exceptionally pleasant. Very knowledgeable about the product. Quite happy with the experiance.

I have been trying to talk to a sales rep and/or the Geek Squad as I purchased a computer on line from Best Buy, purchased the $89'99 (I think that is what it was) and was told I could get them to set up my computer! It is quite difficult to set up an appointment when they do not answer their telephone! I have called several times and it resorts back to "Holiday Message! " I would love to set up an appointment with the Geek Squad and purchase Kaperski Package!
The best store for electronics in Lethbridge. The only store in Lethbridge that i know of were you can walk in the door one minute to close and still shop for a full hour. I ordered a screen protector for my cell phone and was not happy with it. They totally made it right. They made me happy and did what was best for me. They went above and beyond to make me happy. I only bought a $40 screen protector, can you imagine how for they would go if i had brought a big screen tv. They treat every customer with respect. Will always be a BestBuy consumer. They have my loyalty for sure. The store is always clean. They have great hours. Also! They have the best cell phone department in the city! Because there staff don't make comission. They sell all the major companies. They are very knowledgeable in everything. You can really get the best advice and services here.
AWFUL customer service. If you plan on getting ahold of customer service over the phone that is not going to happen. If by some miracle it does, they will take down your name and number and never call you back like they say they will. I have never experienced a Best Buy like this. They really need to get some new employers that take their customer service seriously!
Walked in to the store with over 3000 dollars thinking I might pick up a tv. I was wearing my work clothes so may not have looked high end enough cause no one wanted to help me. They are getting 2 stars only cause the store has good selection but not enough to help people with money I guess.
Needed a new hard drive asap. Able to get it as soon as they open is still better than hanging by the mail box for days if not weeks when a shipment comes from the dot domain
It was a good store, we found what we were looking for alright and not too much waiting. We asked if they would price match for an item accross the street and they did, the one cashier was a little hesitant but then asked a supervisor and she did it, so all is well.
Very poor customer service. I stopped by to purchase a charger and keyboard for my surface pro 3 and was informed to head over to the computer area for assistance. There was only one individual working on that stand (this is an early Tuesday afternoon). He was dealing with a customer so I waited. I waited 15 mins and no acknowledgement from the member of staff (or even the new member of staff that came by and switched over) as he continued helping the same customer. No one else came over to help. I ended up leaving and taking my business elsewhere.
They never answer the phone. I call to get information about a product so I don't waste my time driving all the way down there to find out it is not what I need. So I take my business to Amazon where they answer the phones and have the information I need. Brick and mortar will soon be dead.
Best Buy is great! The sign was off when I went in and I had a moment of terror thinking they too had gone bankrupt and closed their doors. But they still stand my friends! They may just be renovating or something. Anyway, everything I needed was easy to find and staff were very helpful. No complaints! (I mean other than the moment of panic in the beginning)
Terrible place to shop if your purchase breaks! And if you bought a warranty. LoL! I bought a fitbit with a (3yr warranty $29.99) My fitbit died i tired to exchange for a working one. Thay said i had to do it all online. They sent me a E giftcard for the amount of the fitbit which i then bought the same fitbit online at best buy. My original warranty that i paid for didn't expire till 2020. They said i would have to purchase NEW WARRANTY because it was a "new product". Just letting people know they DON'T HONOR THEIR WARRANTY. Find a better store with customer service that actually knows about their products. I was under the ASSumption that a 3yr warranty lasted 3 yrs? WTF
Wow was I off when I first reviewed this place. I've changed my rating to one star for this best buy based on my experiences over the last few months. Honestly I just really got screwed around. I won't go too deep into but let's just say geek squad warranty is a scam. My main issue is that a manager that works here gave me his number and promised to follow up with me. Nothing ever came of it. I tried reaching out via email and phone call and was all but ignored. As inconvenient as it will be I'm going to stop giving this particular best my business. And would encourage others to do the same.
Walked in the store spent 20 min looking for help with buying a speaker system for my clothing store and not one person spoke to me the entire time. It was like all the staff were hiding. I used to send people here all the time but lately the service has been terrible. I might as well shop on Amazon, I'd get better service!
They have a great amount of selection and the items I've bought here have lasted through time. The reason of a 4 instead of a 5 is that their service isn't always best.
Was highly disappointed in what stock they had in store, sales person was no help. Kept taking me to the most expensive laptop (which was wayyy out of the price line). Honestly I'm not sure how they really stay afloat- found nicer people and better deals and items elsewhere!
