Michael was a great server. He was very energetic and friendly, which created a great atmosphere.

Majeed server's were amazing top nuch service and great all and all will be coming back more days to come inshallah.

Came in on a Saturday during the dinner rush. Excellent food and service. Sitting in the high chair was fairly uncomfortable.

This is one of those rare cases where the place actually lives up to its name. If Google had 10 stars they would get all 10. Definitely the best in Edmonton. I thought Shish Schwarma was the best, but this place is a notch above them. You can tell right away upon arriving here that you are in for a treat, because their parking lot is packed. UPDATE Aug 2023: New location with an amazing patio. Fab interior with booths and tables. Same great service; same great food.

Honestly the Best kabab in Edmonton! Their 3 in 1 kabab has become our comfort food and we absolutely love going back again and again.

Absolute disaster, very dirty and messy washrooms, tables were dirty the meat smell bad, the worst part is I am still sick after three days, if you care about your health this is not a place to eat.

I would give it zero stars if I could. I have come to this restaurant for many years and I have never had such a terrible experience. The staff treated me and my family with such discourtesy. I have never felt so disregarded before, and I will not be returning. If you want this type of food you are better off going somewhere else.

I have been here a number of times in the past 2 years. I have never witnessed any of the negative comments. I have never had to wait a long time to get served or get food after ordering. The staff always treats me well and answers all of my questions (I'm Chinese, not Turkish, so I'm pretty clueless to this type of cuisine). Everything me or my family or friends have tried has been great. The falafel was a bit dry, but everything else was A-1. I had the fish again last night and it was cooked to perfection. My buddy had lamb and he loved it.

Chicken shawarma was really good, the place looks nice, there's a cool little shop area in the corner with some gorgeous lamps. And, weirdly enough, the fries are really good quality. So hey.

Food was awesome but service was slow due to weekend rush. Payment of bill system is very bad. You have to line up to pay the bill. It should come to the table with point of sale machine to pay.

Went there this evening after hearing the rave reviews.
Ended up walking out due to how disorganized the staff were, and lack of service.
People that came on 15 min after us, were served before us.
Will not be returning.

Food was very good but the experience was so so. I liked it but I felt the price was higher than I had expected and customer service was quite limited. I was disappointed cuz I read so many amazing reviews but again, the food was very tasty, I really liked the salad but. I almost had to leave because it was SO COLD in the restaurant. I had a coat on and was shivering and trying to keep warm in whatever way I could but they left the door wide open in the front and back, creating a strong crosswind and eventually the server noticed and closed the door. The food was great but this place has more of a cafeteria than restaurant vibe.

Worst Experience. Came here for the first time and they were out of kabab. They also took one hour to bring our food and brought the wrong items. Will definitely not be returning - Turquaz Kebab House is a much better option and is only 5 mins away!

The best kabab place I've ever been to so far! Wow. I would take a flight from Vancouver to Edmonton just to grab a bite here. That's how good it is. Their 3 in 1 plate is just delicious all the way through and their hummus is delicious. Probably one of the best I've ever tasted. A must visit if you're into this type of dish. Will definitely visit again!

This is an Amazing Restaurant! My wife and I eat there all the time.we were there today after being in the gym. The food did not disappoint and we finished it in short order.

Great authentic Turkish food. Good service and fair pricing. There is a small are for prayer as well.

Very disappointed with the staff's rude behavior. We called before come in that we want takeout. But the front staff lady in scarf behaved very rude and said we are not serving anything. If you are not serving anything before half an hour closing, you should told us on phone that don't drive here, or atleast update online so tourists like us don't waste time and energy to see your unapologetic behavior. Would not recommend my friends and family.

It was our 2nd visit with my family and no doubt the food is just mind blowing. So good n yummy the only issue is the servers. They have no etiquettes how to deal with customers.no greetings no nothing.like its such a burden for them to ask and they ask u sit on the dirty tables and we cleaned the table with napkins as there was some rice n other food was there. U can't even mention this to them as they don't even care 1% to stay any longer to listen. Once they dump the plates on the tables then no on care to come n check. They are more concerned on sweeping the floor.it feel so awkward with friends n family u come in when no one comes and check on us but they were constantly checking the table next to Us.the front cashier had no idea which table we were sitting and almost made us to pay for the different table. Honestly staff is a joke here they need anything.if the owner is reading please get them trained. They seems they are there without their will. Sorry but not sorry won't be coming back again. 30 min drive isn't worth to spend over $150 bucks for this service.

I tried Best Kabab for the first time last weekend, and I was very surprised! I went inside to pickup my order, and even though it was crazy busy, the staff were still really friendly! The food portions are very generous and at a fair price! Best Kabab is my new go to place for sharwarmas!

This is a restaurant I come to regularly with my family. However, yesterday I came with my friend and I left disappointed and upset. First off, the servers had no smiles on their face whatsoever. Super cold to us. This is strange because we are not unmannered or rude at all. We always say “thank you so much” and are grateful for any type of service. Next, our food came quite late, which is okay considering it was pretty busy at the time we went. When the food arrived, they handed the plates to our hands instead of placing them on the table. It was only the two of us sitting at the end of the table (closest to the server) and the server wouldn’t have had to reach over to place anything down. As someone who is being served, this isn’t a welcoming action. Still, we didn’t say anything or complain. Just a thought in my head. While eating our food, nobody checked up on us or asked if we needed anything. It made us feel like we weren’t important when the tables around us were being checked on two or three times. We are Turkish ourselves and felt out of place due to the service to everyone else in a Turkish restaurant. When I decided to get up to pay, the lady at the front counter was super friendly and smiley to the people already paying, who happened to be Caucasian. I was like, “Finally, someone will be nice to us in this place, ” but this also wasn’t the case. As soon as we got to the front of the line her face dropped and she didn’t even know what our order was on the paper. She was not smiling or responding when I tried sparking conversation. As two older teenage girls going to a Turkish restaurant I believe that we shouldn’t be treated like we don’t belong/are not welcomed there. When I come with my family there is no issue at all. I want to be clear that I have never been rude to a server in my life nor have I ever left a cheap tip. However, yesterday I did not tip because nobody genuinely deserved it. I left the restaurant frustrated and upset because I did not know what I did wrong. I will not be returning for a while. Please train your servers to be kind because it really does have an affect on customers.

This restaurant was a Humptys before, I came here to eat, it was a good Humptys but it went our of business.this is a good thing.
I went here, it's been a few years that I've seen Best Kebab, I've traveled from Vancouver to Montreal and had some amazing shish, tarouk and assorted delicious foods from such Mediterranean establishments.
Best Kebab, is easily the best of the best out of all I have tried, Shawarma King in Ottawa, comes a close second because of their BBQ quail dish and fruit cup.but, Best Kebab, feeds the soul, the blood, spirit and mind with easily the most refined traditional recipe I've ever had the pleasure of eating.
I am a mixed race man, nearly 50, and grew up in Edmonton, Ottawa, Vancouver and Winnipeg.
I've traveled extensively and I can reassure you, this restaurant will not disappoint you in any way, I crave their dishes and when I return to Edmonton, I will enjoy a beautiful mixed plate.

Easily now my favorite middle Eastern/Mediterranean restaurant in town. Serving sizes are larger than I expect. All the beef and lamb dishes were outstanding. Try the Iskender if your looking for a saucy dish. Otherwise the Adana kabob, shawarma, kafta kabob and lamb chops are all winners.

Food was great service was very informative for a first timer at this Turkish restaurant where I knew nothing about the the food so it was great experience.

Friendly waitress, good food and tasty tea.they were busy and for good reason!
My only comment is that they don't serve Turkish coffee which is crazy and they did not have the dessert I was looking to try in stock. With all that being said I would happily go back to eat there and would also recommend it to others

Well tried best Kanab for the first time. We waited 20 mins before someone acknowledged us. Then we never got our drinks. Then our food was given to another table, and we never got the appy we ordered. No one asked how our food was. Then at the end of the meal we cleaned our own plates. Never got our bill. Then when we went to the front my table and 2 other new customers waited while 4 servers on staff ignored us while they cleaned. We expressed our concerns and no management or apology.

If I could leave 0 stars I would.

Fantastic food and portion. Super worth it. But not always lucky with complementary tomato appetizer! Always complimentary tea though!

Service was terrible. I ordered a beef Shawarma, and waited outside for 45 minutes. I saw 5 other people go in after me, and get their food before me.

When I finally went in to ask what was going on, the lady at the front said they forgot about me. She was nice and apologized.

But even after that, I waited another 10 minutes for the food.

Didn't forget to take my money, but forgot to make my food?
Unacceptable.

When I got my food, it didn't taste too bad. But it was cold. Almost as if it was out in the microwave. (But not long enough)

It must have been sitting on the shelf for 30 mins.

They didn't offer me ANY discounts either.

They did however, put baklava inside the bag as some sort of consolation for the bad service.
But did not even tell me it was in there.
And I'm not a fan of baklava. Had they offered it, I would have declined.

A discount would have been the RIGHT thing to do. I hope they learned from this. And get their customer service together.

I absolutely love this place, the ladies there are awsome and the food is the best in town, I live 45 minutes away so it is definitely worth the drive.

Food is great but the worst service in town even for a pick up i had to wait 20 min with no lineup and food is alreday been prepared.

1st time i went there before the pamdemic it was really good 2nd time during the pandemic i went there and the girls where so blunt seemed like they didnt even want to be there also got to my table.and it wasnt even cleaned tried calling her to clean it and just dirty looks cleanliness should be priority but it didnt seem like they cared honoust truth

The best support for customers. They were competent, sympathetic, and not pushy. We tried to pace ourselves with the quantity of products" purchased, but it could not have been easier for my first dispensary experience. For some time now I've been struggling with sleep, I quickly did some research and noticed this nearby Hemp shop so I decided to go check it out.

Excellent food. The lamb was delicious and the best I ever had. One of the very few restaurants that I highly recommend. This restaurant has some of the top Chefs in the city. Prices are reasonable and portions are good. Service is good. Location is best accessed from 127th Street. Ample parking.

I was visiting Edmonton two weeks ago and I went to eat at this restaurant for first time, the food was really good! I ordered chicken and rice, the flavor of the chicken and the way it was grilled is what got me. Now I keep craving that meal. I will definitely stop by there anytime I'm in Edmonton.

Very good shish kebab place, with freshly baked pita-style bread, simple but fresh vegetable salads (fattouch) & fair prices. The best thing about Best Kebab was the lahmajoun, which unfortunately they no longer serve. We ordered falafel once and though tasty, it was quite dry- we were thankful for the fresh vegetables which accompanied the dish.

The food was delicious the service was great oh, it just took a little longer than I expected to get my meal. It was worth the wait though because the food was great.

Great taste! Most of Kababs comes with salad and fries and rice! If you are very hungry, it is good! Otherwise, you can ask for a box. For Iranian people, comparing to Iranian Kababs in Edmonton, this is much better in taste and price! Also, this is a proper place if you want to go as a group.

Best place for Turkish cuisine in town. The service falters when the place is crowded but not to an extent to take a star away.
