The hotel is in a convenient location, the rooms were great and the food was awesome, the staff however, weren’t very pleasant. We had an evacuation in the northern communities and it was very stressful for everyone, the hotel staff did NOT make that any easier. They modified a lot of the rules specifically for the evacuees making it more strict which is discrimination, they spoke to us in a very annoyed tone and often talked down to people, we didn’t feel welcomed there at all, and honestly the staff really didn’t want us there. For the most part the evacuees were well behaved and the staff were still super rude. Considering how much money this hotel made off of these peoples suffering you’d think they would show a little more compassion but all we got were short tempers and rude behaviour. Definitely not spending my money here again and I encourage all my indigenous brothers and sisters to steer clear of this place.
The Hotel is outdated and is located in a place where you can see lot of drug addicts right outside by the parking lot. The pool was fine, my kids enjoyed it
