Bestech

My 27 month old Samsung 55"Qled 70 TV Started to Power Cycle. Samsung suggest to take to BestTech Calgary. I Paid $52.50 to have a Tech look at it. A week later I was told the LCD Panel is Broken and it would cost me $1100 to fix it with a 90 day warranty. I said (ridiculous) since I paid less than one thousand, brand new with 24 month Warranty. BestTech was quick to point out (They would dispose of the TV at no charge). I thought, sure and BestTech would use the TV for parts. I thought that I would pick TV up and sell it for parts. I got it home. Plugged it in. It cycled for about 10 minutes and came on. It’s been 135
Days and the TV is still working like new. How can this be? Since BestTech diagnosed the TV with a broken LCD PANEL Stay away from this Company.

Super shady and rude staff. They will use your wants against you in order to push what they want. Not impressed at all. Super bad first impression.

My 55" tv was fixed in a proper manner. They are professional, nice, friendly and fair. The only thing that the fixing took a long time which was because of the parts delayed shipping in. That was killing

Update: The TV again got the same problem. In front of my eyes the technician opened the TV and It was found Bestech cheated on me. I was told the whole screen was changed but the changed just LEDs and not the whole screen. I was charged triple time more. Sorry for them. This time I got it fixed within 2 hours rather than several weeks.

They took my PS4 and controllers in that were not working and it was ready the next. Other than the diagnosis cost I just had to buy a new part.

The only place in Calgary that was willing to help repair my tv at a reasonable price with friendly customer services.

Purchased a refurbished TV from them for a good price. Owner was helpful in making sure I had everything I needed and very knowledgeable about the products.

I would definitely give a 5 star review for Kul veer 's knowledge on the TV Repair. I have my 55 Inch Qled TV which was just about Out of warranty and got lines on the screen but he helped me to connect with the Samsung and repair was done smoothly. It was repaired under 2 weeks and made my kids happy. 10 out of 10 for his customer service as well. I will definitely recommend this guy for the TV and sound bar repairs.

Scam artist. I had issues with my $2000 Samsung Sounder which was still under the warranty. Samsung directed me to this shop to get my sound bar fixed. I went there and described the problem sound bar was having and offered to show them on the spot. They said no need as they do their own diagnosis. A week after no update. I called them and they said they found the problem and have ordered parts. They called my after 2 weeks and said sound bar is fixed and I can pick up. I came home, plugged in and exact issue I had previously was still there (so likely they got the parts from Samsung and kept them and didn't fix the sound bar). Went there next day and showed them the issue in front of me. They said to take another look. I get a call next day from them saying my sound bar front grill has a dent. I said it was not there went I dropped off and must have happened under their care. So refused to agree. I pointed out if there was damage why didn't you document it when I dropped it off a day earlier.anyways, I get another call two days later that they cannot fix my sound bar and I should pick it up. So they not only not fix my sound bar but also damaged it. DO NOT GO THERE

Dropped my soundbar for repairs. When I picked it up, it was completely covered in scratches. They refused it happened at their store and tried to blame they were present already.never again

Worked on my CD player with great results. Quick to call me after I picked up the work order as I left my remote at the store. Friendly service too!

Excellent service! I was trying to get the repair/replacement of my broken TV covered by insurance, and needed to submit a statement of repair. These guys had me drop off the broken TV and provided the statement for a fee of $50, but offered to refund the money if insurance rejected the claim for any reason which was unexpected to say the least! They were also great at calling me to follow up on the open ticket when the insurance company was taking their sweet time assessing my claim!

Excellent service. Repair came in at the low end of the quote and the turn around was very quick. Staff was friendly and professional.

Went into Best Tech The retro store gave me directions on how to get there dropped off my receiver for my Samsung surround sound it was shutting off it wouldn't stay on every time I did it I explained it to them they said no problem they could fix it they were going to run a diagnostics and they said the money it cost that I for the diagnostics would go towards anything that it takes to fix it employees were very polite I was looking at other merchandise but for now I just want to fix my Samsung

New Samsung QLED TV was running into an issue with the picture, showing a dark unlit corner of my TV. After contacting Samsung, they set up a service ticket through Bestech and within 48hrs I received a call letting me know they had ordered a new panel and would schedule a time to fix it. Within 2 weeks Bestech was out at my home (in strathmore) to complete the service ticket. Within 15mins and a few jokes later, the TV is as good as new.

Sunfire HRS-8 subwoofer had an issue with volume control and hum when not in use. Paid diagnostic fee when dropped unit off and was advised that it would take about a week to service it. Approx 1 week later was advised that some of the required parts are obsolete, but they replaced some capacitors and unit was ready for pick up with no outstanding balance. Plugged the in the sub at home and the hum was almost inaudible.
Professional service, friendly knowledgeable front counter staff.

Had a good experience here. Took my 7 year old LG 32" TV in, suspected backlight was out. They confirmed the same day, and ordered the parts and had it fixed in two weeks. Staff is friendly, prompt and knowledgeable.

I would take my electronics here again!

They can only replace selection of the device. Can't solder tiny components, or design electronics circuit. SUCK ALITTLE BIT. YEARS OF SERVICE, THEY SHOULD KNOW!

New to Calgary and found BesTech on line. Was having all sorts of trouble with my ancient technology (VHS player). Lockwin in the office helped me on the spot with several encouraging DYO suggestions, and arranged for a tech (Ken) to come to our home. All issues promptly solved, with a reeasonable cost for expert knowledge. I'm now able once again to view my 60+ videos! Many thanks guys.

Brought my Nintendo DSI XL in to have a new charging port soldered onto the board as my kids broke the old one. Even though they said they don't do small handhelds, they were confident that they could do a small solder job. The job was done fast and the price was reasonable. The device works great! Would highly recommend
