I would like to say thank you so much to BGS for helping me and guiding me through my job searching they thought me a lot. My mentors who trained me so professionally, Ally, Jiya, Bob and Serena, you guys did an awesome job because of what you guys thought me, I paddled my bike to success I applied all what I learned from you guys all the knowledge. I am very greatful for your helped. And the receptionist as well, very accommodating. I am very much happy with my job now. You guys are my angels. The whole team in BGS are the best. I appreciated. Well I had to sit through hrs of lectures.hrs.and got 0 help finding a job.they hold onto the "hidden jobs " like gold. I needed a job asap and they just take their sweet time with 0 understanding of impending homelessness

If you're a new graduate between the ages of 18 and 24, struggling to find a career job, I strongly recommend reaching out to Liz and joining her youth co-program. I was a new graduate looking to get into the HR field, and I was lucky enough to work with Liz. She helped me with my resume and interviewing skills. I worked with Liz for over 6 months, and she never gave up trying to find me a position in my field. I am happy to have found an amazing position in my field, but none of this would be possible without Liz.

I became a client at BGS plus program about a month ago. I dealt mostly with a great lady named Kim as well as Elena.
BGS was instumental in helping me improve my existing resume and very informative in teaching job search skills. Their workshops on topics like Cover Letters and Automated Tracking Systems were particularly informative. They also Held in house Job Fairs by inviting perspective employers to showcase their available career openings.
I highly recommend BGS to everyone for their job search and career advancement requirements.

After graduating, I was concerned that I couldn't find a job quickly enough and lacked motivation.

Fantastic resource for people who have been struggling to return to work force. Aid in preparing a great resume, interview prep and more. And a referral for interview clothes. I have been to Bredin in the past and found they didn't offer half the resources. Certainly a good choice if you need help getting back into the job market.

The BGS team were very helpful especially Kim and Elena. They were informative, supportive and had a lot of understanding. Thank you for being there to help me with cover letters and Resume.

Very engaging and enthusiastic staff. I enjoyed the inclusive and supportive atmosphere. While I was attending, I was having a difficult time overcoming certain barriers to employment. I did not have food, shelter, or transportation but with support I was able to overcome and now am successfully employed and live in a great neighbourhood. Thank you so much to all the staff at BGS!

I cannot say enough good things about BGS. I attended their workshops long ago but they've improved 1000%. Kim and Elena have much to do with that. By week 1 I had a far better resume. Week 2 I was better with interview skills and tailoring the cover to suit each position. I'm in week 3 and am more confident with interviews. Each day I have specific goals of which position I'm applying to and the job club atmosphere is fantastic. We get to know each other and share job posts. Rather than job hunting alone, it's far better in a group with each encouraging the other.

I loved going here, the staff here were always full of smiles and encouragement.

Found a job within 3 weeks, they help me fix my resume, gave really valuable information regarding how to search for a job properly, and interview preparation.

The company's service was amazing, but the highlight of my experience here was the staff. They truly like helping people and love to see people succeeding in job search. Was pretty cool.

I was referred to them by Alberta Supports, and it was definitely the best choice. I was looking for a new job for two months by myself and by the end of my program's five day Job Search Boot Camp, I was the only person other than the instructor left in the room, because everyone else was either hired or in interviews, and I was just waiting for a call back to confirm my hiring had been approved. (It was! I start my new job next week at $4.50 higher than my last job.) They are incredibly helpful and invested in your success.

BGS Career Ventures Has been a truly enlightening experience! Kim's knowledge has been a huge help in understanding todays competitive job search market and what it takes too set yourself apart from your competition!

This is exactly the people you need to know to help you get back in the work force. I'm 54 worked pretty much all my life so you can imagine I was a bit stunned and out of the loop trying to find a job in today's market. Kim, Elena and Eric are there for you. They are awesome very receptive and knowledgeable. Just speaking with them put me at ease. My advice is go as fast as you can the service is well worth your time.

BGS Workshops in 2020 just before CoVid resulted in motivation, camaraderie, and resource info that led to college.

Without the help of BGS I wouldn’t of been able to find my first job, from the resume building to cover letters and cold calling BGS Career Ventures will teach you the right ways to apply for jobs and push you in the right direction professionally and mentally. Also gotta give props to Trenton he’s very smart and respectable, he taught me how to write professional cover letters and put together my resume which got me hired with no prior work experience.

I had a real bad resume and also haven't worked in the last 3 years. I was losing hope of ever being employed again. Trenton made me a great resume. My first week in boot camp, I cold called my first job and got an interview without even applying. Kim helped me get through my first interview.she is very knowledgeable. Next week in job group after applying, I got my second interview. The week after my third interview. I landed that job!

BGS is amazing! They helped me get my dream job, and under 2 weeks. They're very helpful! They even do follow up with you after you find a job.

I received exceptional service at the BGS program. I had a career consultant named Karuna who was fantastic. She helped me by giving tips about my resume and cover letter to make it stand out for employers. The entire staff at the program were friendly and great to spend time with while looking for work. As a result, I got hired by TD Bank as a Customer Experience Associate. I would credit it mostly to Karuna for her kind help. I recommend the BGS program to any individual who is looking for work in their desired field.

BGS is absolutely amazing.   I am absolutely terrible at interview and was bogged down with many housing repairs and issues. Yet I managed to get a job which I didn't have any experience in Covid times. With an IT background and being an older guy, I was looked down for other non IT work.   I absolutely recommend BGS as they will coach you on your interview, resume and cover letter. They will give you many leads and they even contact the employers themselves to give you an edge above other jobseekers.

Very helpful, gave me all the tools I needed to feel confident in having the abilities to do what I love. I loved how efficient it was.

6 months ago I started a job employment program at a place called BGS enterprises, I got a career consultant named Daniel. He and the staff at BGS enterprises supported me through my job search and career choices; They even made me the best resume ever! I soon after got sober, got into college, got a job, got a stable home, and completely turned my life around. It all started with just one step, one little push, one act of kindness. Today was my last day with BGS enterprises, and that place, was just the beginning. Thank you Daniel and the staff at BGS enterprises for all your support and help!
