Love love love this place I m there everyday amazing people bought a lengha and the tailor did an amazing job with fitting and everything great people 10/10
Worst place to shop.this was the last time i visit them.clearly racist.i went to buy loose fabric and the lady said its 5$ Per yard.i went to till and he said its 5.99$ i asked very politely that the lady told me a different price.the owner is very arrogant.my mom used to go and shop.i said cab u make it 5$ or give me something else.he said oh plz don’t waste our time its already cut so no return or exchange i said there is no where written that or I didn’t know ur policy.very arrogant.no one was willing to help.owner was arrogant.there was a long lineup and he thought he can treat anyone like that.if u can’t handle leave the job…and he clearly gave discount to an indian lady ahead of me.i was speaking urdu so he showed his true color.i am not going there and wont let my friends go there as well.cheapest service ever.don’t treat there customers equally…. When they are not busy they act as if they are very nice…now very arrogant.the lady working there told me to go to a different shop and i regret why didn’t i listen to her at first place
They had what we needed, but let me tell you shopping in here is not a pleasure. The woman who was helping us looked like we were the greatest inconvenience in her day.drumming fingernails while someone is making a decision is considered rude. Just saying!
We went today for clothes.nobody greet us at all even we went to ask for our help.instead of find out solution of the stuff, lady told me to go to another store.totally ridiculous customer service.they should change their staff
Great customer service. Mrs. Bhatia helped us out a lot and she has great recommendations. Our family left very happy, with our full outfits and jewellery sets! From: Dhar & Family
Too expensive.bought red and green simple bangles for $27.99. Bought the same kind of Bangles at other store for half of the price. The lady who gave the bangles told him the lower price but he punched in whatever the higher # he could think for bangles. I will never shop there again. I wish i could give lower than 1 star.
I go to this store for fabric for ballroom and Latin dance dresses. Prices are amazing, and the staff are always super friendly. I love the small market-like feel. Going today actually.
They were recommended on FB and hence I went here for the first time to get something for Diwali. Firstly they have a huge notice put out saying 'NO STROLLERS ALLOWED', like really? I have a 3 month old, where am I supposed to leave her?
Secondly, the lady who was attending to me had so much attitude, like why are you even here kind of look. She was showing me lehengas and literally showed me just one, I was like can you show me some more please just so I could have some choice, she was like oh, they're all here, you can look. Like how am I supposed to know what they look like without opening them. The service was just so unwelcoming, as if she was doing me a favour. I bought one piece from here (which I now regret) but I know for sure I'll never be returning.
One star is for the gentleman at the counter, he was the only one who seemed to value me as a customer.
I visit first time this place, they were very busy. I choose one fabric and ask the lady for help. I clearly asked her to check before cutting. When I came home find out these types of lines. This is almost all over in 5.5 meters fabric. Now this fabric is complete waste for me.
Thanks for making a reply, but I already cut the fabric, I noticed it while cutting.
Always a great place to get anything that u are looking for at reasonable prices of Indian clothing n accessories.the staff is most helpful n polite always
Amazing fabric, great service and reasonable prices. We just found EXACTLY what my daughter wanted for Grad dress fabric. And the lady that helped us was so friendly and knew just what we needed. Such a great experience.
Poor customer service, came looking for a elegant Indian outfit for a upcoming wedding. Meanwhile my friend was looking for a Punjabi suit to wear while on holiday in India. The sales woman was pulling out all these different suits for her to try and never once bothered to pull a thing out for me. I’m not sure If they work on commission or not but she waited til my friend completed her transaction before she went on with another customer. I kept asking her to find me something but she she acted like she couldn’t be bothered. This place is very busy and overwhelming with clutter. I’m not one to complain, however I was on a mission to find a nice outfit.
Excellent service and good quality products reasonably priced. This is my go to store for beautiful fabrics including sarees, chiffon, beaded lace, bridal satin, raw silk, trims you name it, wide selection to choose from and very helpful staff. Keep up the great work
I was there last week and I won't be shopping here again. I have 5 big weddings this year, came in to buy 1 reception outfit. They were so eager to help at that moment since I was spending about $300 I found one I liked, and we went to pay. If you've been, you know their lighting isn't too good. The woman wrapped up each part of the lehenga and I paid and took it home. Took it out if the sealed packages today to try it on, there is a dark stain near the bottom of this light colored lehenga. You see it in the light, but not in their store. Called them to request an exchange so I can buy a different item, the man kept saying "no it's final sale, I'm not helping you. " The staff worker wrapped it up and inspected the outfit, she did not tell us about the stain. They only care about customers so long as they get their initial money, after that you're nothing. They just lost my family's business, and I'll be sure to let people know to not shop here. Take your hard earned money and go to one of the many other clothing stores in this plaza.
I have shopped in the store many times. The workers are excellent. The owner and his wife are very friendly and they are ready to help in whichever way. The prices of all their fabric beats any in town. They have the most affordable prices in Calgary. They cater for everyone due to their variety of clothes and fabric. Keep going Bhatia and Seema.
You can get fancies at Bhatia for $13 per m that are of equal quality to what Fabricland has for $70 per m. Also they have a bin of organza for $1 per m. Sometimes the staff are super busy but I've never been ignored or treated rudely. There isn't much for notions here so definitely not a one stop shop for sewers, but worth the trip for silks and fancies.
