Food was amazing, staff never let your cupeth run dryith, perfect portions and so fresh. I had the Gnocci my friends had the filet mignon and calamari mouth watering perfection and the fresh green olives aperitif. Prices are very modest considering the quality of the food!

We had a great night here. Service was great. Food was delish - we had the ricotta, the pesto bucatini, the diavolo pasta and a margherita pizza. Oh and some gelato. Only feedback I would give is it would be nice to offer a gf crust option.

I could not say enough good things about Bianco. The restaurant was very comfortable to be in, the service was great. But the FOOD and DRINK I could not rate any higher. So fresh, perfectly cooked and sauced. 100% recommend the Calamari, Cherry Bourbon sours, Smoke show Scotch My Entre was Campanelle Aragosta absolutely perfect! (Borrowed photos from other reviews as I was so involved in my meal/drinks I completely forgot)

Don’t go out much since Covid because there is so much Covid malaise out there. This is usually around the service but often the atmosphere as cleanliness and tidiness included staff appearance is quite lackadaisical. Bianco has restored my confidence in the restaurant business. Everything about this place is outstanding. Beginning with the very pleasant greeting by very well dressed and groomed attendants, the evening was great. Portion was generous, and enjoyed the great again at home!

All the food we had was okay, nothing more and nothing less. We had 2 guests' table and left a 3$ tip because we felt like it and we already spend enough money for this lunch (it was not busy, only 20% of seats were occupied so I feel like we supported your business). We were near the station and I heard that host and our server were making fun about us. Especially because we tipped just 3% and not more. It was very disappointing and incredibly frustrating. We wanted to check this place to celebrate upcoming birthdays party and we liked the food, however this server and host absolutely destroyed all the positive experience. We are not coming back until something will change. We were here on August 5, at ~2pm

Amazing place, atmosphere and service. One of the "must" visit places if you are in Edmonton and you like Italian handmade food

I've been to Bianco twice now and I don't think there will be a third.

The Good: The pasta dishes were extremely well received throughout the group. You can tell the chef is excellent at what they do!

The Bad: They took 1 hour to bring out the food. Mind you, orders were given on a Tuesday night at 7: 30 PM. We weren't given any updates on our food or why they were taking so long. I wouldn't recommend their cheese board as it was quite sparse with ingredients. My friend and I joked that they must've run out of ingredients.

The Ugly: We found a hair in our food that soured the dining experience for the rest of the night.

The restaurant was very vibrant when I was here for dinner and I had one of the best dining experiences because of the service along with the food. She came at every single point of the meal at the right time and level, was very cheerful, and offered suggestions, i.e. More crostini with the Involtini, and what the dishes contained. In terms of food, I tried the Involtini, Gnocchi di Patate Dolci, and Campanelle Aragosta. Everything is at least worth trying. The Involtini had a few nice sized pieces of eggplants, which went well with the cheese and/or the tomato sauce. The crostini with tomato sauce, or with eggplant and cheese were really good. For this dish, the tomato sauce stood out the most as it was rich and flavourful. The gnocchi was really really good as well. It was perfectly cooked, with the right amount of flavour and complements. The gnocchi with the puree just makes one happy eating it. Complements tomatoes/spinach/leek added more layers to the dish. The Campanelle had a nice aroma and was really good. The pasta was cooked al dente. It was rich in flavour with a nice spiciness to it (from the fra diavolo sauce), and came in a surprisingly large portion - both the portion of the pasta and the amount of shrimp and lobster. The chunks of lobster felt fairly fresh as one could taste the lobster, and they made additional cuts to the shrimps which made the texture better and also perhaps so it’s easier to absorb more flavour. Overall, all of the items are worth trying and it felt like a good value meal given the quality and quantity of food, and the service completed the experience.

So I've never been, or at least can't remember a time when I've been, to a restaurant where EVERYTHING tasted delicious. Drinks, Appetizers, Entrees (all 4 Entrees we were served) and Dessert. So good. So delicious. Cannot wait to come back.

Very disappointed at the kitchen chefs i ordered prawns and lobster pasta dish there was no prawns on my pasta dish

The food was super super good and so was the service.
We went at lunch on a saturday and there were only a couple other tables so the servers werent too busy.
The pasta bolognese was excellent and so was the spinachi pizza. Could eat there every day if i could afford to eat out all the time.

Great atmosphere, excellent food, and service! Only draw back would be it can be quite loud with all surfaces being hard and flat. But would definitely recommend.

Was not impressed with the service. We have out of town guests and did not leave with a good impression. We had a reservation and received a call threatening we would lose our reservation if we didn't arrive within 5 mins of the booked time.that's really desperate. The waitress got my order wrong. I specifically asked for 11" pizza and was given 7". When I pointed out the error, she attempted to argue with me that I gave the wrong order. It baffles me how is it possible I didn't know what I ordered? She got it changed but i don't get why the need to argue? Won't it look better on you if you immediately acknowledged the mistake? Waitress also didn't offer if I wanted ground pepper on my pizza. 18% tips added automatically for group of 6 or more, for this kind of service？ What a meh place.

Went with a group of nine to Bianco and had fantastic service, fantastic food, and a fantastic evening. I had one of their wood fired pizzas, as did two others, and each was done perfectly and absolutely delicious; thin crust, tasty toppings, and a perfect sauce. The risotto was great, as was the squid ink pasta; the gluten free, dairy free pasta was awesome as well, and I would not have know it was gluten free.
As a bonus, an Edmonton Oiler was enjoying a date night, and apparently it’s a popular spot for the team.
I will definitely return.

Have eaten here a few times and hosted my birthday here with a large group before. Great food and decent service, probably the best pasta I have had in Edmonton! Wish they had more vegetarian options that tasted different from one another as a lot of them felt like a different type of pasta with the same spinach and sundried tomato sauce combo. Only reason for 4 stars is because someone needs to address the behaviour of the person who I presume to be some form of management (male with white hair and glasses). On every visit I have been there, I have witnessed him berate a female waitress (at least one per visit). On my birthday, he was quite rude to one of my guests who came late (but of course she already knew she had less time to eat as she was late but he just yelled at her saying she’s late so she needs to hurry to eat before she even sat down. Then came back and apologized to her saying he was “acting like a dad who just cared about her”). Tonight, he pulled a girl aside and berated her beside our table (so we heard everything). After she looked visibly sad, we saw him trying to hug her (which she uncomfortably half hugged him back) and use the same “caring like a father” about her line as he did my guest, again right next to our table. He then tried to hug her a few more times throughout the dining room, and she just looked so uncomfortable. Maybe it is just coincidence but the fact it has happened every time we are there makes me question the work environment. Discussions like this should be had in private in an office or kitchen, not beside people’s tables and in the entrance table where all guests and other workers watch. Just felt like a poor working environment.

The wife and I recently went here for a date night, great tasting food, great atmosphere and great service. Will be coming back again. Highly recommended.

Great Neapolitan Pizza, Fancy Dining!

Bianco’s is one of my top picks for pizza in Edmonton. Their wood-fired pizza is cooked to perfection with a slight char that adds to the overall aroma of the pizza. They had a chilli olive oil drizzle which completed the pizza (but must be asked for on the side).

The dining area was that of a fancy but well-priced restaurant.

Absolutely love everything about Bianco. I've gone a handful of times now, and the staff are so sweet, and helpful. The atmosphere has a lovely rustic feel. I get the Burrata every time, and it never disappoints. The Pollo e Avocado is also spectacular. A delicious array of flavors, and when drizzled with olive oil becomes heavenly. Highly recommend.

Absolutely loved this restaurant. The service was amazing and so was the food. Highly recommend the calamari and mushroom risotto.

Good service and smiling staff. I had their stout beer, and it was nice. The decor at this place did not say Italian at all, much less bianco. Everything seems rather dark. My friend enjoyed her food. I ordered the spinach fettuccine, which comes with seafood. The lemony sauce was nice but the pasta was not cooked to my satisfaction. I don't mind al dente when I expect it. Having to ask for bread at an Italian restaurant has always posed a problem for me. The food arrived quickly, much quicker than the bread and drinks.

It's a cute place once you enter to the building. It was a friday night, so i understand that they are busy. We sat down and order drinks which took over 20mins. I ordered a bourbon sour, my friends order a beer and a cocktail. For some reason, my drank smelt like a dirty towel rag which was very gross. I was watching the bartender using the same rag cleaning all the glasses (prolly using it for quite some time without changing it out)
We ordered a few appetizers. Everything we ordered from the menu came out to be all tomato based. Including our white wine mussels. I wasn't impressed.
All the waitress and waiters were all walking aimlessly back and forth at a very high pace. From my point of view watching. It was quite stressful and I couldn't relax being there. Servers all served their drinks without a tray. Which I thought was quite interesting. It gave me a pub feeling type of environment. Not so much of a restaurant, i wont be going back for sure

Impressive service from the very charismatic Johnathan. Meatballs were very tender and super delicious. Prawn appetizer was mouthwateringly good. Entree portions were particularly generous and all in all it was a fabulous experience. We didn’t find it overly loud inside and we never felt rushed despite taking our time with the meal and lingering a bit after we were done. Tremendous time and wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

Johnathan gave us quality recommendations even though he seems more adventurous then we were lol. But he steered us to some certain classics that were real crowd pleasers.

His suggestion for the bolognese rose was spot on for me and easily accommodated my husbands wishes for extra meatballs on his standard bolognese as well as helping us pick a very nice bottle of wine to complement our food.

We didn’t try any pizza or desserts but every single thing that passed by our table looked amazing. I don’t think you can really go wrong.

Stumbled upon this place on a Monday night after work. Restaurant was busy but we were able to sit at the bar. Ambiance is fantastic- special but not stuffy. Our server Alex was awesome. Food was absolutely delicious, some of the best and most creative pastas ever!

I'm glad I came here before it got packed. It was during the game day. I had the carbonara and mojito. Servers were very friendly and service was great. I would really recommend this to anyone who wants Italian cuisine or just to chill. Also, nice touch on the candles at the bar.

This is actually my favourite restaurant in Edmonton! The food is absolutely delicious and for a good price as well. The staff are also very friendly and accommodating. I have celebrated many events here and will always keep coming back. Highly recommend!

You're paying for the atmosphere, not the quality of the food. Pizza is probably the safest choice, risotto was overcooked dry rice in a tomato sauce. Bianco if you see this review please just take the risotto off the menu, it was that bad.

The chicken breast in the pasta was cooked perfectly, pasta was somewhat bland and I did not feel like it was worth $27. Also ordered the calamari which was good. I can understand the pasta being more expensive if its made fresh daily but I would rather go somewhere else with lower prices that deliver more flavour with the same quality in the pasta dishes. Also the server seemed to dislike us from the beginning, not sure why which made the dining experience awkward and not so pleasant. My friend was asking for suggestions on the menu and she just said to read the menu.

Best seafood pasta I’ve had in Edmonton! The pizza was also great! I would give the food a 10/10. If you plan on dining here be sure to book a reservation as they were very busy and we only got seated because someone cancelled their reservation. Otherwise, atmosphere and food was amazing, service was also great. Just be prepared and get a reservation if you wanna dine here.

Excellent food and amazing experience every time! Especially when Pamela is our server, she goes above and beyond and encourages us to try new dishes and makes great recommendations. You can tell making customers happy is her main priority. Overall, Bianco is a great experience 100% worth it.

Modern and relevant decor, with a good range on the menu which my table of 5 sampled from. We got a couple of appetizers, pizza, and pastas. Though not the best, the food was good. What was truly lacking was the service. We went on a Monday night and there were several servers on. Our table allowed us a view of the kitchen and I saw many of our dishes sit under the warmer for a little too long while servers and staff tended to other tasks - polishing cutlery and chatting. Our designated server was nowhere to be seen. With some work, Bianco could be a great addition to the central food scene.

I booked last minute for a big group for Friday lunch. The staff there are so helpful and friendly, despite they already had multiple groups booked for lunch that day. Our food came out perfect, and the timing was perfect. We all had a wonderful time. Calvin was especially helpful and patient with me. Thank you!

Pizza and pasta were both fantastic. Portions were reasonable. Definitely worth a try if you're looking for a bite of Italian food.

Nice ambiance.the food was a little underwhelming and seemed a bit overpriced for what you get. Drinks were pretty good.

My friend and I got the antipasti for 2, and I got the seafood linguine with a glass of white wine.

The antipasti platter was very large and had a variety of flavors: meats, cheeses, bread, jams, fruit, pickled veggies, and olives. All the flavors played well together, and it was fun mixing and matching them.

The linguine was well coated with an emulsified sauce of olive oil, herbs, seafood, and garlic. It was flavorful and fulfilling, and was not overwhelmingly oily. My pasta had 3 large shrimp, and they were firm and meaty in the best possible way.

Our server was very polite, and took care of us well.

We paid about $95 in total, and I left feeling like it was a fair price for a great meal.

Wide range of really nice wines! I tried the rigatoni arrabbiata with Italian sausage - huge portion, nice chewy texture to the pasta, perfect amount of heat in the sauce. Service was okay, it took a bit of time for anyone to notice us and the servers were hard to flag down after the fact.

Had dinner here Saturday night and the restaurant was packed! Nevertheless, the service was impeccable, the food was delicious and the servers were the friendliest!

Excellent variety of drinks including beer, wine, cocktails, Amaro. The food was also very good. I will most definitely be back; can't wait to try the patio next summer, looks inviting!

Made Saturday night reservations at Bianco to celebrate a couple of events as a family (6 top).

The restaurant design and decor was great. That is about where the positives end.

We were seated at the "chef's table" nearest the kitchen which at first we thought was cool. The server didn't introduce themselves and overall seemed to be indifferent to how our experience or any other table's was going.

For appetizers, we had the ricotta, carpacio, arancini, and caprese salad. They were all extremely average. Not necessarily bad, but you could make better at home. Barely any flavor or seasoning there.

We saw who we presumed to be the manager scold one of the employees in front of our table and it was fairly uncomfortable.

We saw an appetizer siting on the kitchen's expo for literally 20 minutes (we timed it) as numerous staff walked by it without running it. Eventually they took it down and we were relieved they weren't serving it to someone. Nope, they just replaced the garnish and eventually ran it 25 minutes after it came up under the lamps.

The kitchen may have been backed up or understaffed but the time between the appetizers and the entrees was roughly 45 minutes. The server came by once in that time to give us a brief update but didn't make much of an effort to explain the situation. When the pastas came they were.ok? Again, not bad but very average for the price and the wait, etc. The carbonara must have been sitting in the kitchen for a while as the sauce was not creamy but more clumpy. The spaghetti tasted like it was from the Olive Garden. The wait may have been because one person at our table ordered the lamb shank but the timing of dishes should have been better.

They did offer free dessert which we politely declined because we had been there for nearly 3 hours and comped one bottle of wine which was appreciated but it felt felt fairly empty as the experience was pretty sour by that time.

Perhaps having such a large/extensive menu puts strain on the kitchen and the freshness of ingredients required?

TLDR: Well designed, extremely average food, poor service, and aloof employees

Really enjoyed the arancini. The ravioli was decent. Would have been nice with some veggies on the side, as the plate looked bare. The desert was okay but that's probably my fault for taking it to go! A $60 bill for one person didn't leave me particularly impressed so not sure I would go back without some incentive. Note that normally the ravioli is served with walnuts but I requested almonds instead.

Nice decor, food was okay. Burshetta start was really good, both pasta dishes where just okay. I personally would return. There are alot of options in the city when it comes to this type of food.

Went with a large group and had an enjoyable time, at a relaxed pace. The space was lively, but not crowded. Menu was just extensive enough to make it hard to decide what to have, and everything we tried was very good - flavorful and well presented. Service was excellent too, which isn't always the case with larger groups.

Good Italian cuisine. Get the authentic experience at a little higher price. Small venue, really busy at peak time, and service was slow. They were sending people away even thou it wasn’t full. So make sure to have a reservation before hand. But again the food outweighs the service in this instance.

Spectacular meal! Delicious appetizers included perfectly, lightly fried calamari with n amazing sauce, burschetta and shrimp Squid ink linguine with seafood was the Best I've ever had. Light, non greasy pasta with a subtle lemon cream sauce and ample scallops, shrimp and mussels. Seriously wonderful. Darcy was an attentive server with polish who knew his wines. Wonderful experience!

We had dinner at Bianco this last Friday night and it was a varied experience. To begin, the space is gorgeous and the patio is lovely. The menu is tasty and thoughtful and the wine list is amazing. Like, totally perfect. Everything was amazing but I must admit, the service was very poor. The server was a young man, short brown hair and glasses. He was very disconnected, forgot numerous things, did not even give us utensils and spilled the wine when pouring it. I even had to ask him to clean up the wine he spilled, he was not going to do it. Overall, the experience would have been a 10/10 but the service needs lots of work

Love this place, everything tastes great but I especially recommend the pasta (all made in house!). Portions were perfect and prices were definitely reasonable. The gelato is worth trying too (or buy a pint to take home!)

Had a great experience here. The service was far beyond what I had expected and the staff were very knowledgeable. Food presentation and plating was impressive but I found some of the sides to be a bit bland. The bruschetta was some of the best I've ever had and will definitely be coming back in the future.

Ordered pizza for a large group of people. As we walked in the pizzas were being taken out of the oven so they were very warm. The pizzas were very good. The crust was done perfectly, the sauce was excellent and the toppings were very good quality. The service was friendly and efficient. We will be going back for sure.

Service was 10/10 our waiter went above and beyond. Very informative of the menu. The food was also equally amazing. They hand make almost all of it. We sat pretty close to the guy in action it was awesome to see! We came for date night. Would definitely come back.

Tried this new spot recently with my girlfriend and another couple and the food did not disappoint. All four of our meals were excellent. The pizza we had as an appetizer was amazing followed exquisite hand made pasta, to which you could taste the difference in quality. Would definitely recommend.

Really great food! I got the rose lemonade (one of the best drinks I've ever had), beef carpaccio, tortelloni, and the pollo e avacado pizza. Would recommend all these dishes!

Fabulous food. The arancini was delicious. Strawberry Negroni potent. Chicken pasta dish was wonderful - my wife said it was the best pasta in her life, and I really enjoyed my beef brisket with polenta and vegetables meal.

If you like Rosso- or Italian cuisine for that matter- you will love this new sister restaurant, Bianco! Bianco is similar to Rosso, but expands its menu and image to be broader and more versatile. Bianco has added larger entree items and a plethora of drink options, but maintains the same local charm with locally sourced and/or organic ingredients.

I ordered Spaghetti Pomodoro e Ricotta, Amore per la Carne pizza, a latte, and a chocolate croissant. The house made pasta noodles were cooked perfectly and had good mouth feel, covered by flavourful, tangy sauce. The pizza is the same great style and quality as that of Rosso, which happens to be my favourite pizza in the city! Most of the pizzas are the same, but there are few differences that you won't find at Rosso, such as the Amore per la Carne, and vice versa. Finally, the latte and pastry were decent, but I believe that if you're going to do dessert here, you are absolutely best off with the gelato.

Our server Eshwa (?) was incredible- full of knowledge, recommendations, and all around hospitality.

All in all, Bianco is a great new addition to the area, and I look forward to spending summer lunches on their soon to be completed patio.

Went there last Saturday for a friends birthday.and I do have to say.it was amazing! Ambience is lively yet warm, service was excellent but not stuffy.food was perfect and not over priced. Can't wait to sit on the patio when it's ready. Well done. Great spot!
