I was part of a wedding at Biera, Edmonton in August 2023. Food was delicious and excellent service. The wait staff kept drinks flowing. What a beautiful space for a small intimate wedding!

Super fun evening out with a unique and delicious menu, lively atmosphere, and excellent service. What an Edmonton gem!

My god cannot say enough good things about the food here, we had four courses (five including dessert), sourdough with the caeser mix add on, smashed cucumber salad, dumplings and half an order of chicken, dessert we had the mouse. Everything we had we couldn't stop commenting at how flavorful and complex all the flavors were, they really hit it out of the park. Our favs were the chicken and the dumplings (they are changing the dumplings soon so if you like cheese go soon). It was a smack the table roll your eyes into the back of your head kind of dinner. I highly recommend checking it out. The only thing that I found is that the table was really tight for two people working through the food with drinks and water on the table. My partner had a beer flight and I had gin and black tea for drinks. Drooling writing this review. Go check it out!

Had a hot, smooth cup of coffee and pastry with my wife, but the subdued atmosphere was somewhat soothing and relaxing. Thx.

The food was super tasty! I highly recommend getting the dumplings. I could have eaten two orders to myself!

Knowledgeable and great servers! If you’re a cheese lover this is the place for you and lovely decoration. If you’ve got a lactose intolerance or dairy allergy and you come around 5: 30 pm ish on a weekday, good luck finding something much to eat. Loved their cider though! Drinks are great

Read the menu before i went and i didn't know what to expect. Safe to say it was fabulous and the service it top notch. Also, really enjoyed the music they played.

We came with an infant and toddler for dinner on a Saturday and left happy. This place is all about the vibe and made me feel transported to Portland, Oregon.

Every dish we tried was knockout delicious! Very well crafted. The food looked and tasted super interesting and was very satisfying/ good value. We had the dumplings, acme chicken, shoulder, apricot salad, and some chocolatey dessert. They use great local ingredients and know how to flavour things perfectly - nothing too sweet, sour, or salty. Each dish was delivered with some unique information.

They make their ketchup from scratch in house, that should tell you a lot about their passion for details.

Atmosphere is excellent - high ceilings and a glass window display the brewing equipment under funky lighting. The building itself is really nice, houses some other fantastic brands (dutchess bakery, transcend).

Drinks were also great, obviously went for beers and enjoyed the radlers featuring fresh juice, some unique sour beer in a wine bottle, and even the non alcoholic option was great.

Service was good and unpretentious. Staff were very accommodating to our needs when we had to change tables last minute to fit the stroller/ high chair.

Overall one of the best dining experiences in a while recommending to everyone.

Enjoyed our dinner here. Their dishes are very creative and I love the inclusion of more local ingredients. We shared their charcuterie (enjoyed the pickled parts) + cheeses (tasty), sourdough ice cream (a bit too sweet) and their frozen dark chocolate mousse (yum). The service and atmosphere were excellent.

Fantastic restaurant for getting together with friends for a culinary delight of unique flavors. The food is serviced family style and brought out in the order that best go together. There were 4 of us and we ordered 6 dishes brought out 2 at a time giving lots of time to enjoy the food and conversation. There is also a very good selection of their in house beer. Our server was great and very knowledgeable about the menu and what goes best together. Note that the menu will change depending on the ingredients available each season. We had a great time!

Friendly staff. Great beer. Great food. My favorite was the trout carpaccio. Clean, modern atmosphere. Easy parking kitty corner.

My wife and I split an amazing Eggs Benny. Very fast service. And our server was delightful. Definitely recommend.

The atmosphere is relaxing, all the staff are so welcoming, the food is delicious, I had the trout bennie and a share of the french toast.the best I have had. Such a wonderful experience. I will bring all my people back. The pato looks like a great place to eat as well.

The ambiance was almost exactly as we had hoped for, but the food and service were just ok.like the portions were good, the core dish ingredients were great choices, but there was just something missing from each dish we tried. The staff was very knowledgeable about the food and drinks, but our server seemed disinterested in our table.

We would go back again, but probably stick to drinks and more snackable items or try a charcuterie board.

Great food with okay beer; the place was packed but the food was top notch so I definitely understand why. I’ll be taking friends back for sure.

Beer was very good. Food was interesting and very well prepared. It is family style dining if that works for you. Well priced and very good service.

Really enjoyed all the dishes here. The cheeseboard paired great with the various sauces provided. The sample doodle of beers was nice to be able to try a number of their beers. Wish we had more people to try a couple more of the dishes!

What a hidden gem
We stayed in our neighborhood tonight and ate local.walked down to the eye-catching Biera that always has their brewery in view from the street. Upon being pleasantly greeted by the host, we were seated outside on the awesome patio.
For our meal, we enjoyed grilled Acme chicken and the Lakeside dairy fromage dumplings
Both were beyond delicious and visual art on delivery.

Ordered a drink before my meal, Waited entire meal to only receive drink once food was finished and only because I asked again if it were coming. I recommend the mushroom thing, it was amazing. Lovely fancy menu and small serving

Food is over priced. Drinks we’re very good.the salad and chicken that we ordered were very bad. Flavours don’t mesh well together. Left hungry and disappointed.

I can't imagine why there would be less than 5 stars here. I get that expectations are subjective; but the service here is unreal. The food menu is a bit pricey, but the food is unlike anything you've tried here in YEG. We biked here, and there are plenty of places to lock up your pedals. The hostess' cheerfulness, the busser's explanation of my beer flight, the knowledgeable server Caroline (thank you so much), and the awesome deck space were one of a kind. We will be back again, and again.etc

Seriously, they removed their flatbread from their menu? Not worth the experience if you are vegetarian.
