Went for a hike last weekend. It was great weather so enjoyed it. The trail is not too long but you can go little off-trail to explore. Suitable for kids and a family picnic. Definitely recommend to give it a try.
So beautiful! Bring good shoes, a backpack & water if you’re going for a hike. Perfect for a family picnic or a little self made (or professional) photoshoot
Highly recommended! Today was my first time to be here due to my mom’s recommendation. We had a wonderful time in this park! So beautiful place with water flowing sound!
Simple, short hike on the trails but beautiful scenery with waterfalls. I went at 6: 30pm on a Friday night and there were about 15 people at the entrance and only a few people on the trails themselves.
Easy walk. Today we did the South View Point. Only 420m once off of the main trail. Takes a fair amount of time if you want to stop and photograph the different waterfalls and points along the springs. Very busy on the trails and so not somewhere to walk to enjoy solitude. Picnic tables get busy, could be very difficult to get a parking space. All dogs were on a leash, which makes a change on many trails.
Beautiful, easy walk. Our toddler loved it and could have spent several more hours there. Lots of greenery and pretty waterfalls. We went around 5pm on a Friday night, and there were lots of people coming and going, though the actual trail didn’t feel busy!
Beautiful trail, very busy though and lots of people will bring their dogs, us included. Great for young families, but if you plan on having a picnic there, there are not many places on the trails that are quiet enough and picnic tables are almost always taken.
Gorgeous, simple hike. I have lived in Calgary my entire life but have never been out here! It was a perfect spot for family picnic and walk, plus splashing around in a nice cool mountain creek. Incredible waterfalls and geological formations.
A relaxing place with a calm water stream and beautiful tiny waterfalls. There's a place where small kids can play in the water for hours. So don't forget to bring your swimsuit and crocks. Apart from that, one and half kilometers hiking loop goes to the hill top and down to the water streams. A calm space to spend time in nature.
Just an overnight stay is not permitted in the area. Stay on the trail and do not step on wild natural spaces as much possible. Don't litter. That's how you show your love to mother nature.
Absolutely worth visiting. The loop walk isn't long though there is a bit of an incline. There are benches to sit on along the way. So beautiful, if you have the time definitely take a visit.
