Terrible experience overall. We're from Jasper and we took our car here to get an out of province safety check as we just moved here. First off, they didn't tell my husband ahead of time that he needed a form for the appt so when he arrived he had to leave, go to the registry in hinton and get the form and then return for the appt. They did the check and issues were found with the car - fair enough. My husband called to make another appt to get the issues fixed. After driving the 45 minutes from jasper to hinton he was told he didn't have an appt. (Even though he had called and made one) We thought they were going to redeem themselves when they apologized and offered us a rental car and said we could leave our car there to be repaired and they would return our car to us in Jasper afterward. They quoted $1500 for the repairs. After having our car for a few days and not hearing anything from them we then get a call and they say "are you sitting down - we misquoted you and the price will actually be $6,000" LOL! How do you misquote someone from $1,500 to $6,000. Seriously unprofessional. The car should have already been repaired and returned to us by this point. We still need the repairs done but have completely lost all trust in this place so we would rather just start from scratch somewhere else. Since we did not proceed with the $6,000 repairs, they made us come to hinton again to get our car instead of dropping it off in Jasper like they said they would. The whole thing was a joke and massive waste of time and money as we'll have to pay again for a new safety check somewhere else now. Do not recommend, would not go back.

Everything was wonderful, Cory was great and Craig both took care of us. Corey went above and beyond to help up trade in our current vehicle. Highly recommend.

My truck broke down on a trip and I gave them a call. They kept a spot open for me as I needed my truck fixed asap. Got my truck over and they didn’t waste any time. They charged me extremely reasonably, didn’t try to sell me anything extra. Extremely honest and straightforward people here. I think with the way their service department is, when I buy another dodge vehicle, I will make the 5 hour drive here.

A big thank you to their service department. My car broke down on a Friday evening, and they managed to squeeze me in for a diagnosis on Saturday morning. Couldn’t fix it right away due to lack of parts, plus the car had to be fixed in the US, because of warranty restrictions. Still, they were very attentive and offered some great advice. This has been a much better experience than what I’d received anywhere in the US.

I have nothing but stars to give the Big Rock Service team. Friday afternoon of long weekend I pulled into an empty service bay. They not only had space and a person to look after replacing a seized U-Joint but did it with the best customer service I have had at a dealership ever! Service technician was a rock star in making sure my bill was not more than it had to be!

He called me to advise me that the vehicle I was interested in was not one that he would sell to me because it had issues. That made me want to work with him! On my way to Vancouver from Saskatchewan, I experienced my first bout of the 'death wobble' in my Jeep Wrangler. I stopped at Big Rock Jeep/Chrysler in Hinton, Alberta and within minutes, I was able to drive my Jeep into the shop. Just over an hour later, a diagnosis was made unfortunately, the dealership did not have the part in stock. Words fail to describe how utterly impressed I am with the level of service provided by Big Rock.from the service personnel to the technician as well as, the friendliness of the sales staff. Thank you so, so much for being so kind and so helpful. I must add that the Big Rock did not charge me one cent for their time and labour which is huge as we make our way through the increased greed associated with the pandemic!

Big Rock Staff came through big time when I was stranded and looking at a huge repair bill on a truck I had gotten just 2 months ago at another dealership in Leduc.

Went in on a Friday afternoon, to have some service work done. They got my truck in right away and diagnosed the problem. While there I was looking at getting a different truck, ended up taking it home for the weekend to test out. By Monday morning at 9am the deal was done. Would have liked my SUV ready right at the front doors for me instead of me having to walk to the back parking lot to get it myself. I guess that kind of service has gone by the wayside.
When I went to pay the end amount was higher than the quote not by much. They did change it, which was great. I was just surprised that there was no quote in the system. When they had given me a quote a few days ago. They are very friendly there but short staffed it took over a day to get a quote when I was told it would be an hour. All of the above, hence the four stars and not five.

I called Big Rock and they saw me ASAP on a Saturday, and called all around town to get me the part I needed and get me back on the road. All within the hour! It was a little late getting done, Not sure if they test drove it afterwards. It had a clicking noise and vibration. No feed back on that issue. They provided a loaner car which was great a I needed wheels that day!

I got the Jeep home and located the clicking noise! Replace rear u-joint all good!

My experience with Big Rock was amazing! My brother and myself were trading from Edmonton to Vancouver Island where we live.

I asked that the car be looked at asap and it was. We were able to diagnose the problem and find a solution then and there. We were back on the road in 5 hours instead of 4 days!

My jeep needed a new ignition coil what happened not to be on stock. It was not safe to drive back to my place (not in Hinton) so I got a loaner vehicle for a multiple days. An absolute pleasure to deal with Casey and Rachel. Thanks guys for getting me home and fixing my truck! I'll see you soon.

So after 3 months with no radio because big rock fried it! I had to call parts and see what was happening with it! I was told they were waiting on a remanufactured radio. So parts go approvel to order a new one. Finally get it booked in to be replaced on warranty! There was a crack found in the screen of the old radio that hasent work for 3 months so I had to pay for the new radio! Thanks Warranty.
When it came time to pay my bill they also wanted me to pay for all the other warranty parts and a break job and parts that they did not do! Total of just under 600$$.
My advice to anyone that reads this is. Make sure to check and re check your invoices before you pay! And to not use big rock dodge service department! With both visits that I have made to big rock I have been utterly disappointed in the way I was treated and the services they provided! If I could put a 0 star on this i would!

It was the most pleasant experience, this is the first time I come across of so friendly, kind, human, lovely, and helpful people.

I was passing through Hinton on my way to BC for work. I was informed last minute by the site that they require you to have Load Range E tires due to the shale rock on the logging road. I called Big Rock as I was pulling into town and they got my truck in on 15 minutes notice, got the new tires put on and I was on my way. The tires they took off only had 15 000 km on them and they let me leave the tires there for the duration of my shift so I could just pick them up the following week as I passed back through Hinton on my way home. Great service!
