My first few appointments weren’t bad, but the past 2 I’ve had the same guy who is obviously new to doing nails. I was really patient and even though my last set took 2 hours I didn’t say anything. My nail beds burned enough that I had tears in my eyes, the design was sloppy, the nails weren’t under the light long enough (he was insistent that I take my hands out before even one full round of the light), the top coat on one nail immediately bubbled and within 2 days my pinky nail just randomly fell off. For $85 I expect a hell of a lot better. Very disappointed.

I booked an appointment two days ahead and when I show up day of my appointment they turned me away. I guess they had someone else booked during the same time as I had and didn’t even bother to write my appointment down or try and fix the problem. Super frustrating and disappointing getting turned away last minute even though I had booked an appointment days prior.

I have been coming to this nail salon for almost 2 years now and I am always happy after getting my nails done. All the nail techs are extremely talented and kind. I can't recommend this place enough!

Jasmine is the GOAT of boujee nails. She creates my dream nails each time with absolute ease. Thank you to the entire Binh’s Gateway fam for being friendly, funny, welcoming and hospitable, qualities that seem to be long lost in our world. This is the salon you’ve been looking for.

I always get great service here! They can usually fit me in very quickly and can do pretty much any design! My nails are always beautiful and last me so long

I’ve been going to Binh’s Nails on Gateway for over a year now! The nail salon is always clean and tidy, and every time I come I notice new decor or new enhancements to the salon. The staff is friendly, experienced and hard working. They are so friendly as soon as you walk through the doors! I’ve never left unsatisfied, I always feel welcome and well taken care of! New ownership and it was noticeable. New comfortable chairs and my pedicure with Mia was excellent. Best massage I have had as part of a pedicure in a long time.

Went to Jasmine to get a detailed set and I left so happy! This will be my new nail salon from now on. Everyone is Very friendly, was happy to be there!

I've seen Mia twice since coming to Binh's nails and the quality is amazing! My last set by Mia lasted 4 weeks without chipping or lifting! I highly recommend Mia at Binh's nails.

I had a great experience in this place last weekend. The staff is so friendly, and she did an excellent job.

Avoid going to Hailey! She told me she could do stamping, but when I showed up, she didn't have proper equipment to do the stamping, even though I brought my own stamp pad. My nails began to crack and fall apart within 24 hours. I got the nails done for vacation and had to get them re-done in Fiji because they were not done properly by Hailey. I doubt her Instagram pics are hers because the work she did on my nails was pitiful.

It’s my second time here, and the experience is as amazing as the first. Thei prices are very reasonable. Great service friendly and helpful

I got some acrylic nails done there 3 days ago and it was around 85 dollars. I am incredibly upset with the job done. I feel like the nail tech was rushing because they had a group of ladies who wanted to see if they could get their nails done just as a walk in, however, I made an appointment for myself days before and should have been the priority. She didn't even paint my entire nail for most of them, there's spots you can see that she missed or she wouldn't file the sides enough for them to be smooth, they're still quite rough so I ended up just filing them myself. As well the nail polish is warped and bubbling, chipping, and just plain coming off. The nail tech also didn't check to see if the lengths of my nails were the same on both hands, so of course one hand has much longer nails than the other. I decided to phone just to see if I could get my money back or a gift card for next time, but they told me that wasn't allowed. I have been going there for years now and will no longer be coming back.

Always love coming here to get my toes done. Lovely staff and great service! High recommend

They stayed late gave me luxury pedi and made me feel like a 100 bucks they even took the time to fix a chipped nail. Thank you ladies for the amazing expirence.

AMAZING! Especially the nail tech Clara I believe it was, such a gentle hand, I have a wedding tmrrw and she did not DISAPPOINT I wish I could add a photo of my nail set (pink ombré set with flowers) but I can’t but so worth the money if u go there ask for Clara AMAZING! Thank u so much again! ️

UPDATE: It’s only been 2 weeks and 2 have fallen off already. Super disappointed after paying $95 Is this normal? I thought they were on until we soaked them off?
My teen daughter just HAD to try her first Acrylic nails and they turned out perfect. She loves them! Great job on the design we asked for and the length. She went off the picture and they turned out great. Although they didn’t have the blue colour we wanted for the forefinger it still worked with what was offered. Thank!

If you do decide to go here make sure to book with the higher quality nail techs there. I would walk in after work and they would set me up with the young man there. He would rush through and wasn’t thoughtful about shaping the nails evenly. When doing simple one color shellac, there were holes or gaps in the top coat. I’ve started going to another nail salon as I still want quality when I do a walk in.

I’m really glad i visited this place few years back.
Never been to any places since then. Great customer service and very attentive down to the smallest details.

The place sparkled! Great staff and good services at a good rate. Way less busy then century park places I use to go when I lived there. I'll be back.

Terrible service, and constant upselling that just made things awkward. I've been to multiple Binh's Nails in the city and this location was by far the worst. They hurt my girlfriend foot and barely did anything to mine. The technician kept trying to push products or services even after I made it clear that all I wanted was a basic pedicure.

The staff were so lovely and created the most beautiful set of nails based off my favourite album cover logo! I couldn't be happier!

I love this team! 2 of the team are incredible artists and can paint ANYTHING on your nails- Quin is my fav!
The studio is properly sanitized and they don't pressure you with sales

I have gone to many different nail salons in my time, and this is by far the best one. All of the nail techs are kind and gentle and listen to what you want. They are all very skilled and take their time to give you the perfect nails, making helpful suggestions along the way.

This is my go to nail place. The girls are so sweet and always do such a great job! I highly recommend Binh's on Gateway!

Despite the bad reviews I decided to give this place a try. I had a great experience. The spa pedicure was very relaxing. Clean and very professional. Highly recommend.

They ruined my nails, the massage was painful and the lady poked me with the thing used to take off nailpaint and it still hurts. Oh and my nails didn’t completely dry but I guess that’s okay because I got regular nailpaint but it still looks awful. Never going back.

Quinn was beyond wonderful. She was very attentive to what I wanted in my nails, and she took her time ensuring perfection.i am soooo in love with my ombre gel nails. I highly recommend this salon, everyone is so friendly and Quinn is amazing. Thank you!

Went with a friend a few days ago and it was also our first time trying them. Love it! We had both pedicures and nails done and they are amazing. The pedicures were very relaxable and nails are perfect shapes with incredible designs. They have a large selection of colors that can fit any idea you ask for. Gladly we stopped and tried here. 100% will come back! They are our favourite nails shop from now.

I love Binh's nails Gateway! I would never go anywhere else to get my nails done. They always make time for me and ensure I leave with happiness. The atmosphere is inviting, relaxing and all staffs are so kind, friendly and know what they are doing. Highly recommend this location!

Amazing service! Annie is an amazing nail artist. She is so nice. This is my favourite nail place in Edmonton. They have never disappointed me. Very clean place and good service. 10/10 would recommend!

Very nice place. My girlfriend and I coming today as walk in.the girls took us in right away.fast.friendly and super clean place.will be our nails place from now on.highly recommended.

I would give a review in negative if it was an option. What I concluded about this salon is that they are extremely impressive during first visit and it is down fall from there onwards. My second visit I was overcharged, $65 for a shellac manicure on my own nails (design was for $20 single nail on both hands). I was informed when I reached the counter to pay. In my head it would be for $5 just like every other salon.

Last visit, the lady (Ann) practically was scolding me while asking if I know the color and design I want. This is how I was greeted by her (first statement) after waiting. At one point I asked her that if she is upset of something I can just leave and pay for what she has done so far, then she calmed down a little.
Aside of all of this, I asked for a shellac manicure and all I got was a color change, no cuticles nothing and I paid $35+$5 for design, but no manicure, just change of a color on my own nails. Highly disappointed.

All their designs start from $10.00, she said to get vertical lines or polka dot for $5, and nothing else.

Me and another friend of mine went through similar situations especially overcharging and when asked apologizing about it. Both of us decided to never go back there again.

Absolutely a rip off, I went here with my sister last week Friday to fix two nails and get a new colour my nails are not even a week old yet and they’re already chipping the ombré she did is different on both hands, paid 75 bucks and my sister paid 78 for the a basic set. Will never go back!

Took my girlfriend there for her birthday, delt with some short Asian girl who was really nice but I forget her name. I sat there while she did her nails and they let me sit in the massage chair while I waited and made me feel comfortable in an uncomfortable place for a guy!

Love this place and my nails! Annie was sooo good! I saw a design on their Instagram and asked for the same one and Annie did a picture perfect job. She was very precise and patient! 5 stars for an all star!

I came into the salon to get a color change a few weeks ago and it went fine. The powder used for my acrylic nails previously was coloured, so the girl who was doing the color change did a couple layers of white under the new color so that it would show better. The girl who did the color change was very nice and I was really happy with how they turned out. Thank you! A few weeks later I came in to get a fill. The lady who was doing my nails was very nice as well, but the nails did not turn out good. She redid a few of the nails many times, made a few mistakes having to backtrack, which I understood, no ones perfect. There were also comments made about how they don’t look good because it’s t how my nails grow so that’s why she’s struggling? Despite sitting in the chair for an hour and a half for a fill, I was extremely upset with the final result but I was way out of time so I left. The nails were extremely thick and painful, all of which were of a different shape. The majority of the nails lifted off that night. When I called to explain what happened, the lady said I could get a refund and I just had to email them. I later get a call from them again, saying now that they won’t refund me but they will redo them. I really did not have time to come get them redone as I was leaving on a trip, but I made it work since they refused to refund me. The lady redid them and did a wonderful job. She did try to say that it was the layers of paint that we had to do that made them look so thick but it didn’t do that last time, and I don’t think paint could make them as thick as they were. Although the lady who redid my nails was very nice, there was another lady working who was quite rude when she was putting the extensions on my nails at the start and was rushing me to pick a color and was being quite unprofessional. I was told after the nails were finished that they really should be charging me for this set but they’ll let it slide this time, which also seemed rude and unprofessional.

We were at the South Common and my girlfriend wanted to do her thing while I shop around so she ended up trying this salon. When I came back to fetch her I spoke to some of the staff and met the owner and they were incredibly friendly. The shop is very clean and uses new and sanitized tools. She said it has been her best manicure experience -the nail artist was very patient and sweet, meticulous and careful (she’s picky), great selection of colors. So glad she found this new place! We dont really live south but this is kinda like her new fave place now. Worth the time and money.

Just had my best shellac manicure ever. I forgot to get the name of my tech but she’s only been doing it for a year and was fabulous.

Always happy with Quinn. She knows I'm super picky yet, ensures I'm satisfied every visit. This will always be my 1st choice for nails.

The salon didn't use the proper level of disinfectant and didn’t properly clean its tools.
The technician Ann trimmed my nails extremely short with a USED toe nail trimmer. She filed my nails down until there was barely anything there! The whole point of that step is to get oils and dirt off, you don’t need to file them very much at all! They were so thin I could feel the file through my nails and it hurt! She hit my cuticles with the file many times! I was bleeding on my fingers after I got home. I’m afraid if I bang my nails on something my entire natural nails will rip off because she filed them SO THIN. Please save yourself and go somewhere else.

Went there on a whim as it's not my normal nail place but they did such a great job. & finished in less than an hour!

Worst experience ever! Quoted one price, then insisted on doing something different that was more expensive, a d my nails HURT a lot. Never going back.
