Recently purchased a new Triumph and have been very impressed with the staff there! The team (sales, finance & delivery) pulled through when I made a last-minute purchase decision and wanted to get out on the bike ASAP to enjoy our amazing fall weather, they made it happen! I used to buy a lot of parts and accessories online, but lately I have been shopping here instead and the help and insight from the staff has been great. The only advantage to buying online is convenience and price, but considering you can shop here online and they price match online competitors, I see absolutely no reason to spend my money anywhere else anymore.
Picked up a new set of tires here this month for the best prices around. Bought new boots, and they price matched a competitors sale.
Seriously the staff has all been great, you can always get the best price, they have a great selection of gear and bikes both on road and off. Unless you want one of the very few bikes they don't sell new (they might even have a used one) there's no reason not to shop here!

My experiences at Barnes Blackfoot have always been excellent. Staff are customer focused, helpful, knowledgeable and pleasant. Everyone makes you feel like a valued customer. I recently purchased a motorcycle. Miles was very professional, took time to explain and make sure I was comfortable with the process. He made it a very good experience. My thanks also to Tobi, Heather, Luigi and Parts Department staff.

Purchased a new s1000rr from Simon, he was very easy to deal with making it one of the simplest purchases from a dealership and went above and beyond to make up for delays of getting the bike that were out of their control, and even after delivery helps with anything required with no hesitation, will definitely recommend anyone else to him as well.

Multiline with a huge selection on the floor. Excellent selection of riding accessories. Parts department is helpful and usually have everything on the shelves or can get it quickly. Usually the first place I go in Calgary when I need something related to motorsports.

I recently purchased my second full suspension E-Bike from Blackfoot Motosports, the first being the Scott Genius and now the Intense Tazer MX. These replaced my old Kona Stinkies and ofcourse replacing my past love for my retired motocross past and physical need at the age of 60 that ties in with my still active sport of boxing witch allows me to go faster and further keeping a bigger smile on my face on these days on a bicycle. The bottom line is here like the other day I was in to purchase some brake pads for my Kawasaki 1400GTR witch was also purchased here Josh a recent hire for his expertise in the MTN bike area recalibrated and fine tuned the suspension on my Scott bike because I liked the way my Intense bike handles so much witch he set-up in the first place. He did this free of charge and wouldn't except anything for his time. In my years at Blackfoot weather its with the finance people, motorcycle staff like Derek in sales, parts or accessories the feeling of uncomfortable pressure or the lack of experience has never once existed. Only the well trained and carefully hired people that it takes these days to complete a well run company.

Have been here twice and very impressed with the service both times. Was on a cross Canada trip in 2009 and needed a rear tire for my Suzuki V-Strom 1000. They fit me in and did a great job. In August 2022 I was again going cross Canada and needed an oil change on my Multistrada. They fit me into a very busy schedule and were most accommodating. One of their service reps gave me bonus tips on a route through BC that provided some awesome riding. Would go there any time.

Call and you'll spend 30 minutes on hold with the parts department. Go in to pick up your 1000$ order and guess what!? You'll stand in like at the parts counter for 30 minutes waiting for service. Order online

I recently did the GS off road training with Tobias and Simon (7/25/2022). It was a great day out and I really learned a lot. The bike feels 100 lbs lighter due to improved skills and it really improved my confidence off-road. Very good service, as snacks, drinks and lunch are all provided! I have recommended the course to all my buddies who have adv bikes.

The staff are usually friendly. However today the young girl with dark hair working at the helmet counter was so unhelpful and unfriendly. My husband was appalled. Jacob at the audio counter was a superstar! Just thought you would like to know.

If anyone has had a positive experience here I simply don't see how that would be possible. Ordering a part is like pulling teeth. Very under staffed. Excuses from everyone that it's not their department or fault. No phone call to let me know a part that I ordered has arrived. Have to wait in line of 7 people to pick up the part I have already paid for. There is 1 parts person working and a lineup of people. They move at a terribly slow pace. Even if all of these issues have valid reasons, there is no excuse for not being nice. This business seems like they are too use to being busy all the time and have to put in zero effort to retain clients. I wish I would have dealt with Basecamp who has just opened up the road.

Nothing but great things to say about the whole purchase experience of my Z900. Harsh was fantastic when it came to knowledge about bikes and making the buying experience quick and easy. As for Crow, they made buying my gear a ton of fun and had so much advice on what would work better for me and my riding style! Thanks again to everyone at Blackfoot!

Miles the Ducati guru showed us some primo roads out west. Also found me a perfect helmet, I have never liked any of my helmets. Blackfoot was a great sponsor for the Ducati mountain rally and I won a Desmosudici! * (mechano set)

I returned to motorcycling this month, after a 10-year-long hiatus while raising a very young family. Harsh from the sales team at Blackfoot Motosports made the purchase of my new bike seamless, even from Edmonton! No dealerships in the Edmonton are had this bike available so, despite my hesitancy, I decided to try to buy it from Calgary when I found out that Blackfoot had one in stock and still in their storage/warehouse area.

All of the ground work was done via phone and email, and then I made the trip down to Calgary to sign the official documents, complete the delivery walk-through with the service team and then pick up some accessories. Everyone from sales/finance, service and parts was outstanding (even those who just happened to be around and not actually involved in my purchase), and I'm glad that I was able to drive down and meet them at the store rather than going with my original plan to have the bike delivered to me in Edmonton. It was worth the trip and I'm thoroughly enjoying being back on two wheels! Getting the bike for Father's Day weekend was icing on the cake, and I thank everyone involved for helping to make it happen.

I recently visited Blackfoot and test rode a few different bikes with Harsh and he was absolutely the best. No pressure and very knowledgeable about all the different bikes. It was a very pleasant experience and I will be returning due to his friendly attitude.

Recently bought my new 2022 KTM 500 XCF-W from Ron Newman in sales. Great buying experience and Dave Smith made financing easy. Thank you. It's just past break-in and I'm very happy with it. Some freaky, loud engine noise but when you open it up, it all.goes away!

I went to McLeans and got it a bit muddy on the 3rd ride and was disappointed to see one of the front shocks leaking afterwards. My fault I guess but the seals are a little weak in my opinion so I'll need to find a solution as mud is sometimes unavoidable. It was a few days over the month warranty KTM offers and I took it back in to Blackfoot several days later on the Saturday, end of August during customer appreciation day (haha). Ron took care of me right away and spoke to Jeff in the shop while I waited. I left it there and had it back within a week. Blackfoot and the boys took care of it, apparently replacing the seals for no charge.
THAT'S GOOD SERVICE!

I'm a very busy guy with a passion for riding. I don't have a lot of time to do repairs and I've been out of it for a while so, that type of service for me means that I will be buying more bikes for my family and I again and would definitely recommend that you go there too. They went above and beyond, really. I'm very happy.

I found they have a great selection of bikes, both street and dirt. This is the place to buy and get great service. I love my new bike.

If your bike is more than 10 years old, Blackfoot doesn't want you. In no uncertain words that's what they told me when I tried to get my 2010 Ducati Sreetfighter in for servicing. "Sorry but your bike is old and we would rather not service it but here is the name of an independent mechanic that might help you. " That's what I was told. Blackfoot is Calgary's licensed Ducati dealer. I thought I was doing the right thing by asking them to service my bike. I thought wrong.

We always have the best experience with Casey Johnston at Blackfoot Motorsports. We order all our gear and parts through him. Knowledgeable, helpful and really cool. He has helped get our family get the safest helmets, best boots and always the sickest kits (plus bars, exhausts, etc for our bikes!) I always refer him to friends and family.

I just bought a 2022 KTM 250XC-W from Blackfoot. Ron Newman was such a help through the whole process. He took multiple hours explaining the difference between each bike and model to help me find the perfect fit for my riding style. The process of loading up my bike and getting a walk through to ensure I understood the maintenance requirements and care instructions was incredibly thorough. Thanks again Ron!

Have had multiple frustrating experiences. If you buy a bike here they are awesome. When its warranty, parts, or anything else you will get better customer service elsewhere. Husband went in for a jacket… After asking for help from 5 people all of whom were talking with other staff and 45 minutes we went else where. Husband got an amazing helmet; we were told to send in pictures and drop it off…. We live an hour away attempted to drop it off twice over 2 weeks staff stated it was the company who made the helmet… as they company stated it needed to be returned but no staff followed up as the helmet company did not supply information required for the return. I understand the helmet company is at fault too but Blackfoot has not shown any empathy or compassion just passed blame. Finally got the information; dropped it off and was told there is no estimated time line as to when we will get the helmet repaired or replaced. It did not feel like staff were following up with company or us until they were told my husband teaches riding motorcycles and does require a helmet for work.

Just bought my first street bike ever from Blackfoot Motosports. Got helped by Tobi and Harsh. They both did a great job. Harsh went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable getting my first bike and gave me a ton of helpful tips to get started on my new adventure bike. Very knowledgeable. Thanks again Harsh. Sue was also great in the office. She was so happy for me getting my first bike it made me even happier than I already was getting my first bike. UPDATE: Got a follow up phone call and an apology for the issues and miss-communication. Hoping for continuing better service in the future.

Terrible Customer Service. Order parts from them, week past delivery. And have tried for 3 days to get a hold of them but no answer. Don’t return calls or follow up as they said they would. Understaff, unprofessional and useless. Only reason I go there is to get my OEM parts.

*UPDATE* AT THE BOTTOM. I've been coming to this dealership for parts and sales for over 13 years. Most recently recieved amazing service from Corey and Chris in accessories. These 2 guys will go above and beyond to assist you. Highly recommend seeing one of these 2 guys if your looking for parts and or accessories.

I then headed to the Service department for my first experience with them the other day. Had an abs light fault code. Asked if I could get the codes read and cleared and maintanence light reset because a previous shop did the maintanence and didn't have the proper scan tool to reset.

The service advisor asked the assistant service manager if it could be done. He said might be a couple hours before I can squeeze you in and quoted me $86 (without diagnosis just to read codes) I agreed, took off the seat and pulled out the OBD port for them, and went across the street to pick up a coffee and came back 5 min later. I reminded the service advisor not to forget the maintenance light and clear any error codes. He said oh we have it done already. I said wow 5 min was fast. (Hard to justify $86 for 5 min) however it is what it is. I asked if the maintenance light was reset and he said no and they already have it off the bench. I said well I'm paying for half hour labour plus shop supplies and I would like it reset, or do I have to pay another $86? His response was well.maybe. He then grabbed the assistant manager

After arguing with the assistant service manager for 10 min asking to have it reset he aggressively ripped the work order off the service advisors desk causing a huge scene.

As a former service manager in automotive, I found his actions to be out of line and very disrespectful. I would never act the way he did, especially to a first time customer. Absolutely disgusting in my opinion. My first and last service experience with Blackfoot Motorsports.

UPDATE: They replied to my post and was asked to email marketing and heard nothing back. Why bother asking me to do that if your not genuinely interested in fixing an issue or that you care or want to solve anything?

Miss Sue- what a delight to have her help me finance my bike. Her customer service is phenomenal and I would recommend she is promoted or given a raise or I will hire her and give her a raise. She is an asset to any business she works for.

Steve - His wisdom convinced me to buy my second bike in a span of 3 weeks from my first bike. Haha He is such a gentleman of a person. Triumph if you are reading this review, thanks to him I bought 40k worth of your bikes in 3 weeks. Thats the power of steve ;)

I had a recent recall on a fuel pump that threatened to cancel a long time planned multi day group trip. Thanks to the creative ingenuity and problem solving ability of one of Blackfoot Service's reps (Mark), that changed. Without being asked, and acting on his own, Mark was able to identify another recall customer that was willing to postpone theirs so that it could be used to fix my motorcycle and allow my trip to take place. Needless to say, I was very happy - and surprised - when I received Mark's call and wanted to share this experience. Thanks Mark and way to go Blackfoot Service!

Been here 6 times never helped once and you can walk around the store and never be helped then try the counter and your told to wait in line which takes at least half an hour and there are never many people around or at the desk.

I can't say enough good things about Blackfoot Motorsports. Everyone from sales, service, parts, soft goods, etc is so knowledgeable, friendly and just a pleasure to deal with. They are so organized in the buying process of bikes from purchase to delivery. The parts people always get you set up with what you need and nothing you don't. 5 stars all around!

I typically work on my own bikes and the service department is so helpful in answering any little question about a repair even though the bikes not there.

Blackfoot Motorsports should be the model that every dealer strives to be. There is a reason they have been open for 50 years. Don't even bother going anywhere else!

Great experience picking up a used Ducati from Blackfoot. Prompt, easy to deal with, and if you talk to Wone Yip and bring him a life time supply of wonton soup you may get a deal. All kidding aside I've been buying bikes through Wone since '99 and its always enjoyable.

Very hard to order any parts through Blackfoot over the phone. Long waits and usually it’s leave a message and we will call you back. Still waiting. There stock is limited so you better just order it online instead.

Buying a bike should be a pleasant experience but not in this case. Completed the online info page, completed the financing info page. Had 2 phone calls (under 3 mins each) and one email about a particular bike and then it became clear this was not going to work. Salesmen said he didn't have time to song and dance with me while seemingly not acutely reading my concerns or questions or completing the mock bill of sale with the correct price information we agree upon. It seems he was more angry that I didn't sign his offer letter that he kept begging for that he neglected to even attach. Only then to request a reply from a manager along with photos of the bike because its now 3 emails and 2 phone calls apparently it has damage. Got the email from the manager now with the sales contract completed wrong and still no photo's. In the words of YOUR OWN SALES STAFF *** I don't have time for this song and dance with you, I guess either!

I purchased a Triumph Bonneville T120 from Blackfoot Motosports this week. The overall experience was excellent. The Sales Advisor, Lindsay, was first class. His knowledge and enthusiasm for Triumph bikes was very evident and he couldn't do enough to help. This is the second bike I have bought from Blackfoot and I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again. Great job!

Sadly they use Canpar for shipping and you will be waiting a long time for your package to be delivered if it even gets delivered, also it will likely be delivered damaged.
Ive been waiting two weeks for the two orders I placed. Im located in Chilliwack BC and my items were shipped next day. Packages still show they are in the Calgary depot...

I have purchased 3 bike from blackfoot, An R6, A WR 450 and a Fz07. I always joke with friends that they can treat you however they like because there is no where else to go. I have always felt looked down upon like your not in there elite motorcycle club when you go in and deal with people. The buying experience is great, of course like any dealer. However I found prices really high on gear and service. 3 stars is fair i think anyone who goes there will agree

Called to check pricing on a starter part for an MV Agusta- turns out the repair I needed was a recall even though the bike is 4 years old. Appointment was booked, repair done, bike works perfectly again. I just finished a day of GS Training with Tobias and Simon from Blackfoot Motorsports. I wanted to take the course to learn some of the basics of off road adventure riding and gain some experience.
Tobias and Simon instructed the course, held at the Wild Rose Motocross Track near the store. Both were very good at teaching and guiding our group of riders of varying experience, ages and bikes. I got a lot more out of the course than I thought I might.
They covered a wide gamut of bike handling skill from clutch control, to body positioning, cornering, hill climbing, braking, and many others skills and safety techniques.
It was a full day of on and off bike training, which increased both our skills and confidence. We could all see the improvement in one another from the beginning of the day to the end.
If anyone wants to learn the proper way too safely handle an adventure bike off roads, take this course as it will surly help build on your skills and even teach you things you did not know.

I’ve had nothing but positive experience with Mike Becker from parts department. Bought my bike here few years back and any time i had a question he was my go to guy. I was there few months ago looking for part for my triumph and no one could find one. Than week ago I was buying brake oil and saw Mike is back so i stoped to see if he can help, when lo and behold he looked around made few phone calls and found extra part in the back.
Ive been coming to Blackfoot motorsports for long time and its guys like Mike that keep me loyal customer. As a business owner I value time and extra effort he puts in and I truly appreciate his knowledge and help.

Excellent customer service, much appreciated.

I would like to thank Blackfoot Motor Sport for my last minute appointment to service my bike. They were exceptionally professional/personal, and got me in, and finished in a matter of hours.

Dylan Graham, and Randy Licuanan, were so amazing and helpful i think they should get a raise. (ok some Timmies then).

This shop and staff are fantastic, and don't forget you after the sale is final. Also Dave in sales is fantastic, he is the person to deal with.

Amazing customer service!

My order was shipped to my billing address instead of the shipping address. Braydon notified me and was very diligent in correcting this mistake. They were able to work with me to strategize and develop a solution for this issue.

First of all, they were able to price match my pitbull stands that I ordered, which was listed at a lower price at one of their competitors. Second, they were able to ship me my stands for free with express 1 day shipping. Then they refunded me for the other item that was sent to the wrong address.

Will definitely be coming back and these guys have my business on future purchases!
