Great location, good prices and a clean, safe building. The staff are amazing. They are super friendly, knowledgable and helpful. They go the extra mile by giving
extra time with each customer to make them feel comfortable and well taken care of.

Moved out just as they upgraded the security and bay doors, but there is work being done to make the experience better. Otherwise, they are friendly and very affordable. Not the same setup as some other storage places, but I feel the prices reflect that. Loved the variation in unit sizing as well. Didn’t need to rent more than we needed.

Best location in Calgary for self storage. Very friendly staff and now they have full security systems.

Just got the storage unit, it was fast and easy, all process took less than 20 minutes. The prices are very good compare to other storages. We also got a tour where we was able to see all units (wasn’t sure about the size). Thank to Jenna and Richard for providing all the details - very kind and nice workers!

I recently went back to find they are now BlueBird Storage which is no longer open on Sundays, hours have been cut back during weekdays, they now require 2 weeks notice that you're finished with your unit previously no notice was required, and the new guy giving me a tour of the units that were available was rude and unprofessional. I was asking if I didn't require storage for a whole month would the payment be prorated, which for some reason made him irritable.

Took my business somewhere else, where the staff are more friendly, more hours of access available, and asking simple questions regarding cost doesn't make someone get flustered.

This facility is incredibly accessible with the loading dock. It’s well managed and the customer service is fantastic. I wish there was a 6th star!

Six months ago, I would give the former Blackfoot Storage a five-star review, but since they have been bought out by Bluebird, the experience has gone downhill. Bluebird announced they were no longer offering Sunday hours, which was one of the reasons we chose Blackfoot in the first place. Yesterday (Tuesday night), we loaded up our truck to drop off items to our storage locker only to find that they cut back on their hours once again - they are no longer open until 8pm on weekdays, they close at 6pm. No email/mail notice, no advisory messages, just closed. So after spending time to load up the truck, we had to unload it, only to load it up to do it within their new business hours.

All of this would be somewhat acceptable if they lowered everyone's rates for the shorter hours and lower quality of service, but - again - nothing of the sort. We continue to pay the same rates for less hours, less customer service, and overall a pretty disappointing experience.

Buyer beware, this new company is pretty unimpressive. We won't be signing up with Bluebird storage again anytime soon. I feel bad for the employees of Blackfoot Storage - they get to deal with the fallout from these really short-sighted operational changes that they have no control over.
