Best **Alberta beef** not fattened up with grains before slaughter not super fatty. The chicken is hit or miss there but definitely better than grocery store chicken

Went there at 5: 50, sign shows they are open till 6pm. Lady locked the door as i was about to enter. Very rude. If you say you are open till 6pm u should be open till 6pm. Dont lie and close early.

Always good meat, best beef jerky in town and cheapest place to get dog bones. The manager is always very nice as well!

We love blackmans through and through! Meat is always great quality and fairly priced. We've tried other butchers but none I like quite as much as these guys. Staff is helpful and always willing to accommodate requests made. A+ service every time.

This is one of the go-to places in GP; the bonus is that their prices regularly beat all the big chains and the quality of meat is tops. Plus - you're supporting local producers at the same time.

I just want to tell everyone to stop buying meat at the grocery store! Blackmans quality has always been superior and their prices are way better also! I needed to stock up on meat today. I looked at Superstore and their prices were unbelievable! I didn't buy any meat there. I went straight to Blackmans and got exactly what I needed for way less $$. Plus, they have at least 5 different types of in store made garlic sausage that is amazing too!

Amazes me that it's more inexpensive to shop there than a big box store and the quality is second to none.

Best steaks in town, both quality and price. The marinated sirloins are beyond nummy!

Also one can ask anyone there almost anything meat related including cooking directions without the slightest worry of looking silly. They truly care and it showsws

Very nice store. Helpful people. Good selection of products. Very good prices as well. Parking is relatively easy to get in and out of. The location of the store is good. Always something on sale. New favourite butcher shop. Worth the 3 hour drive for me.

The staff is super helpful and they always prepare my Chinese Fondue Meat every time I call in! Be sure to take advantage of their Prime Rib specials and enjoy some of their Jerky!

We travel from FSJ to GP to get 90% of our meat from Blackmans. Blackmans not only has great tasting product they are so helpful when you have a question, and helpful hints. The customer service from the back of store too the front is always the same every time we go OUTSTANDING. THANK YOU all at Blackmans Butcher Shop you are very much appreciated.

Awesome meat shop. They have great sales from time to time, and excellent quality cuts. The gluten free pepperoni is great as well.

In the current situation I would avoid this place like the plague, they actually will fire employees for calling in sick, even if they're supposed to be in self isolation.

We purchased all of our New York Sirloin Roasts from Blackman's Butcher shop for our Circle of Friends banquet at PRBI - Peace River Bible Institute. Not only did they give us a great deal, they dry aged and then wet aged our meat for us. The meat turned out tender and delicious and our guests just loved it! Thank you Blackman's for your excellent customer service and delicious meat!
