Blair's No Frills

Clean store, organized shelves, friendly staff. We did our groceries here before our long drive to Jasper. We bought everything we needed for the drive and a few days stay. As always, No Frills has good prices!

This is one of our go-to / main grocery stores. We love the competitive prices and variety of items. Yes, there are slightly less items than safeway or coop, but they have the main products that we need when we do our weekly grocery shopping.

Usually, No Frills has lower prices than even their parent company Loblaws / Real Canadian Superstore. Moreover, due to the small size, we find this store isn't as busy and easier to get in and out.

The staff at this store are often friendly and helpful. Compared to other No Frills, the 85 Street one is cleaner too.

Blair's No Frills has friendly, helpful staff who go out of their way to assist. The staff are interested in you not just as a customer but as a person. Cheap prices. Blair is always polite.

My grocery bill was more expensive than Superstore. Not sure what the draw is to this store. Lights in some isles were burnt out. Very limited selection of everything.

Just started going there. Have shopped in store once and use their click and pick up regularly now. Both types of shopping have been great experiences. Store stocked, clean and always some mark downs. I have been in there close to opening on weekdays.

Prices here are always good. Most of the time we see and know the price is lower than the competition. Like shopping here but never get here enough. Wife feels it's a great place and I agree with her.

I believe this is the best No Frills there is. Saturday and no line at checkout. Just splendid!

In this store, you will find everything but it is not cheap as they advertised! However, great store.

Good place to buy most organic foods. It's nice that the store was built with windows so staff can get sunlight. It's sometimes a gamble to pop in the store to find exactly what you're looking for. Asking the staff to check the back for sold out items always results in them coming back empty handed. Don't feel like paying for a delivery service to solve this problem.

Things that are sold out for extended periods of time:
-Sunrise Farms Organic Chicken
-PC Organic Eggs
-PC Coconut Oil 1.6L

Things they should consider selling:
-Top Grass extra lean ground beef, tenderloin, & other high quality cuts as opposed to the "PC Free From" brand that is likely grass-fed grain-finished. There's a nutritional difference based on my research.
-Superstore's Previously Frozen Wild Sockeye Salmon.
-Superstore's Club House Organic Black Pepper 28g

I'm sure they could discontinue lower quality foods to make room for these items.

Good place to pick up basics. Also - check flyer for weekly deals - those prices can't be beat.

Was at Co-op to get some regular sweetened condensed milk and the shelf was empty. Went across the street to No Frills and they had plenty and at a good price. I will go to No Frills first from now on and buy more there.

What happened to the PC Express pick up time slots at this store? I switched from my regular grocery store to Blair's No Frills during the pandemic because I was thrilled to be able to pick up my grocery order with minimal time in the store. This service was amazing! For months I have been able to get a pick-up slot on the following day but as of this week, there are no slots available for almost a week. If I need to do in-person shopping, I will go back to the grocery store where I did in-person shopping for years. Very disappointing.

Please let a customer finish substantially bagging his paid groceries first (especially if he has quite a lot) before serving the next one on line. Sadly, this resulted to mixing of grocery items with the other customer and no physical distancing at all.

I looooove No Frills! They have the best selection, the store is clean and stocked, and the cashier was the friendliest i've every experienced.

It's very clean and competitive. Lots of parking and a great location. Excellent prices. Great produce.

Fav grocery store near springbank hill, I’ll always come here instead of the signal hill centre

Second time reviewing this, as the first one got deleted. Good selection and great prices but customer service is awful.
I went there today and the lady at the check out didn't even greet me. She said three words to me the entire encounter, which was "bag? " and "PC optimum? "
I know times are hard right now, and I imagine that with covid, many frustrations run high and interactions with customers aren't always pleasant. But it cost $0 to be nice.

Big box store with a lot of cheap Chinese and foreign manufactured products. Some good and others not so much.

My favorite price effective place for my grocery shopping. The stock has improved in the late 6 months.

Very busy all the time, probably because of the affordable pricing. Small store but lots of great selection of products. Very organized too. Friendly staff makes the shopping experience great!

Good quality produce, and frequent sales. Competitive regular pricing. PC Express in-store pickup allows me to avoid lines, and save time - always accurate, with few substitutions. Clean store, with ongoing sanitization.

Great employees always willing to help without the looks or gestures that your bothering you! Very friendly. The owner can be seen working on the floor like any other employee!

Beautiful store. Beautiful people. Beautiful prices. Lot's of room to shop. Very easy to get to by car. I live in Bowness and it takes minutes to get there.

The exact same items are bit cheaper than Superstore, but they don't have great selection. This location accepts credit cards, not all NoFrills do.

They need to retrain their manager's! Being disrespectful and defensive behaviour is not PC brand motto i guess! When supervisors and managers, inevitably we get approached by a frustrated customers but first we have to be respectful and understanding not demonstrating poor customer service.
I gave only 1 star cuzz their price sometimes cheap than Co-op or Shoppers Drug mart!

Convenient location, lots of free parking, well stocked store make Blair's No Frills our go to community grocery store.

Online ordering and pick up worked great! I really liked how they label your bags and also tell you which fridge/freezer your items are in. Wait time for the order can be as short as half a day if your lucky or even next day!

Has a lot of the expected Loblaws products without the crowds. Extra star for good social distancing practices

This no frills has a good selection of everything you would expect in a no frills.
I was pleasantly surprised to see a wide array of ethnic food options that one does not normally see at a no frills.
4.5 if it was an option.

I usually love this store but I get the feeling it does not meet the same standards as other stores do during the pandemic. I've never seen anyone sanitizing the carts, the arrows in the aisles dont make sense with how traffic goes through the store, and the checkouts are a mess as well. It will be a while before I go back

This place was a gong show this morning
no one at the door counting people going in probably 50 people crammed in around the produce.no meat to speak of and unruely customers ignoring arrows and distancing rules.no security in sight? Very poorly managed.

Me and my college buddies come here at least once a week. We live very close, and it has quickly become our regular spot. We love Blairs No Frills, and it fits our budget and needs. The produce is sometimes not quite up to standards, but understandable because of its size and value. They have great selection of chocolate bars, if they could keep them in stock, and overall it is rarely too overcrowded. Thanks so much Blair!

Even though there is a lot left on the shelves because of the hysteria that has occurred. There is still plenty of fresh produce and friendly staff.

I go here all the time and I really like it. It's got amazing prices and I'm always shocked with how low they are. They recently added self checkout they're very nice and compact but unfortunately they don't take cash just debit. They also sometimes have damaged products such as cans but I can't complain when they're selling monsters for sometimes as low as a dollar when the places near by have them for up to three fifty per can.

Great location and staff was friendly/helpful. Found all the products I was looking for and the prices were great/on sale. Only issue is that today was PC Points day and they had NO signs anywhere this was going on which I thought was odd but besides that made over 9400 points and was able to get Organic produce like Green Peppers, Lettuce, Dressing and PC juice and other staples for spending under $40. This is by far one of the cleanest and positive experience at No Frills. I'm a super shopper and shopped all of them and so far this is the Best No Frills I've been to in Calgary.

If you are cheap like me come by this location or go to Elbow Drive as the rest are not impressive with low stock and unfortunate looking produce lol

Best part it is also relatively easily accessible by Bus if you live in the SW like myself! It literally drops you off at the front! You can't even say that about most No Frills or Superstores!

If you want good access to items without looking a half hour for what you want, then Blair's is for you.
Cheap and reasonable prices, and the sales are always fair.

Great place to hit on sale days. Shopping carts require a dollar to break them out. They recently added self check outs. Cashiers are quick and polite. Don’t forget your bags.

Typically love this No frills. But ever since they installed the self check outs, getting out of the store is horrible. Today our cashier left us during our check out 3 times. She left the lady in front of us twice and the lady behind just once. But in 10-15 minutes that's a total of 6 times she left the til to help multiple people at the self check out.
No impressed with the service.

We used to always go to Real Canadian Super store, not any more. This place and other No Frills are in the area and you can park right at the door go in and quickly get what you need, lots of selection and same products and prices as super store. The have halal products there too.
